There is a saying about every kick in the butt being a step forward. Taken literally, it sums up for what I felt like while watching the first episode: I've got a kick and I just couldn't stop going forward. It was love at first sight, I know I wouldl enjoy it right from the first 10 seconds. I really can't praise this anime enough. FIrst of all I have to say this is no yaoi. And it hardly is a shounen-ai so don't expect romantic moments between the two male characters, despite of what people say. No.6 is a story about contrasts and decadence of humankind which sometimes goes both ways. The fact that there are a couple of scenes where the two guys seem tender toward each other, from my point of view, was just another way of highlighting the contrasts between them, putting one of them in the dominant (male) side while the other is the weaker (female) side. For a better explanation I could also refer you to the myth of the androgyne, if you really need another explanation regarding male/female sides of one person :)) I love the fact that it starts abruptly, it just kicks you in the middle of everything where you are just left to contemplate everything around you, having dozens of questions in your mind. I've experienced this kind of "adrenaline beginning" only in first episode of Gundam SEED (not that they have anything else in common other than thrills... and maybe friendship torn between two worlds). I just have to say it again: the first episode is genius, it perfectly reflects the contrast between the two main characters and by the way the scenery is put together, you get a very close and personal insight to the life of each of them. So we have two different characters and two different worlds: Sion and Rat, No.6 and... the outside. If by any means of chance some of you had read George Orwell's "1984", you probably have a very good idea about what this No.6 city is: a perfectly controlled and monitored society that suppresses freedom under the cover of a beautiful and safe glass jar. A very hi-tech city, with a community that promotes strict ranking among civilians and assures everyone is given a role in serving and honoring the city. This is supposedly a new postwar organization. Outside this glass jar, there is the "real world", Nezumi's (Rat) world. Again, I don't have enough words to praise the way this real world contrasts with No.6. In the beginning, I was sort of puzzled by the course of some characters here, their behavior seems odd and unnatural. And it is, because the real world has created another set of human values and reference systems that differ a lot from our normal "moral" points of view. For example, a dead body isn't too odd of a view but that doesn't mean the streets are filled of some sort of panic. The people learnt not to fear, at the cost of not getting attached to anything and anyone. Without any burdens and caring only for themselves, people became trully free, in contrast with the so dependable population of No.6 I found the graphics, backgrounds and weather effects to have a stunning effect over creating key moments in this anime. Can you imagine actually start feeling cold just by watching the storm in this anime? It simply catches the right feelings. In this matter, I can really relate to Garden of Sinners which also does an incredible job about creating atmosphere. The character have a few of very very intelligent moments that highlight human nature aspects. The moment Shion opens the window and gets out in the storm in his white socks and screams from the bottom of his lungs along with the storm sirens it's his call for freedom. This kind of scenes make the characters look more human and less like dry creations of an uninspired writer. Although not all the questions might find an answer along the 11 episodes, overall this was one of if not the most impressive things i've watched, without being a tear jerking production and without having too obviously forced psychological of philosophical references.

No. 6 has a little bit of everything to appeal to many crowds, whether it be action, romance, suspense, or drama. This series had an entertaining plot, smooth art, unique characters, and strong emotions. I looked forward to every episode and am sad to have it come to an end. The plot had a few twists and turns but followed a very focal point the intire series, although Shion constantly was analyzing his options the plot was focused. This gave the intire series direction and allowed the audience to generate opinions and scenarios to their objective. To me this gave more depth to the anime as you feel you are constantly looking at each situation and bit of information and relating it to No. 6. The art was good, but not spectacular. In this pristine world I had hoped to see a more drastic difference from the inside of No 6 to the outside, also the backgrounds were often lined against the large wall of the city which sometimes felt like a cop out on the backgrounds line. Yes, I realize it is situated around a walled city, however I still felt depth lacked. Ex: Darker than Black revolved around a walled city yet there was a more expansiveness feeling artistically. The character movements, panoramic scenes, and lighting was very smooth and had feeling of realism to most of the shots. The Characters were unique and all being affected by one of the best well contrived protagonists of anime, though more of an entity, the city itself. This unique form of evil causes the characters to progress at their own paces as they are confronted with bits and pieces of information and generate their own thoughts. From revenge, to sadness, to confirmationists all different types of people are protrayed and it is interesting to see what each conclusion / solution is generated. To me No. 6 was a very entertaining and suspensful series which I highly recommend. All aspects of the series were very well blended to make this a great series of the 2011 year. I think this will be an anime to take up ranks with Deadman Wonderland as one of the years greats. Rated 9/10 POSTED BY @GameJok3r

The anime had a lot of potential but it was so rushed it just turned out very bad and confusing. Please don't waste your time on this anime unless you're very bored and have nothing to do. [spoilers ahead] It started off seeming pretty interesting but after two episodes it started slowly going downhill. The plot started to feel rushed and everything seemed to be vaguely explained. The ending was so random and confusing???? Safu morphs into a giant colorful wasp???? Then Shion randomly rises from the dead... it would be more impactful if he would just die right then and there. Karan just gets up and abandons a now orphan child to join a crowd of "zombies" walking towards a collapsed wall, and the small girl just smiles and shrugs it off?? If that wasn't weird enough, in the last scene Nezumi and Shion kiss, no words exchanged, and then Nezumi just straight up disappears, leaving Shion with a baby and a dog.

No.6 is your usual post-apocalypse totalitarian government flick complete with a Ministry of Love from 1984. What really sets it above a rating of merely "good" is the character design and story content. If you're here you probably already know that No.6 features a gay relationship between the two protagonists, Shion and Rat. If you are a reasonable and accepting person in the year of 2018, you can enjoy this relationship regardless of your own sexual orientation. Shion and Rat are written as representations of optimistic and cynical ideologies in the face of a clearly flawed world order. Yes they are both male, but this anime avoids all the trappings of oversexualizing the relationship or playing the "will they wont they" game for the entirety of the show. Yes there are some open ends in the story, but when the show is limited to 11 episodes in length it's unreasonable to expect complete closure. For the most part, everything is explained as much as it needs to be. If, in the 11 given episodes, things like the mysticism of the center of the city were focused on more this show would not have shined as much as it did. The only thing that really could have done with a little more development is Shion's mother's involvement in the creation of No.6' status quo. Give this show a watch. It really is quite good.

No.6 is a very good anime, with decent animations and voice acting. However, the manga and the novels are much, much better. Because of this I have always recommended that anyone who has asked me to read the manga or novels first. The anime is well done, but does not nearly meet the quality of the original novel or its manga. BONES did well, although the studio missed several important points that were essential to the plot and characters. In their adaptation, the first three episodes are exciting and interesting. They raise questions and create attachments to the main characters. Unfortunately, by the fourth episode and so forth until episode eight, the story loses importance. The plot becomes mundane and, while the main characters are lovable and cute, the anime becomes uninteresting. We learn very little during these episodes, leaving far too many questions unanswered until much, much later. The characters are wonderful, and have to be my favorite part of the entire anime. Although Shion is rather cliche at first, we later learn that he is much more complex than just a naive, gentle teenager. Nezumi (Rat), is also likable. While cold and aloof, we later learn the reasons beneath his jaded and hateful demeanor. In short, No.6 (anime) is a decent adaption of the novels. However, I STRONGLY recommend that you first read the original story, or at least the manga. These are very well written, and have everything that the anime failed to create.

Hard to puntuate. At first, it seemed to have a good history and I liked the chemistry betwen the characters, and till episode 5 it was really great. But then its started going downhill from there, maybe because there was not a identificale villian or a clearly objetive to achieve. Actually, the main characters didn't affect the story and can be removed without problem. Nevertheless, still was enjoyable somehow till last episodes, where every was ruined with lots of rushed deux ex machina nonsense. At the end, most questions remains unaswered and the relationships go nowhere. I can't say I not enjoyed watching it, but all was wasted with that finale.

I'm sorry, but I really didn't think this anime was that great. The story lost me on the last episode, character design was poor, there was hardly any background on most of them, the show was so short it's like they got half way through and hit writers block so they just gave up. Throughout this I didn't grow an attachment to any of the characters, I started to, but a lot of the time I just sat here wondering wtf this anime even is. It was like a bad version of the Hunger Games. *a little bit of an extra note This is the first time I've seen an anime with gay characters, but of course they had to be the stereotypical feminine type. I tend to avoid ai and gay themed anime because they always seem to be romance based. I hope for the day there's an anime that's really dark like Elfen Lied, Wolf's Rain, etc where the main happens to be a gay dude, but he's not feminine...you'd kinda think by now Japan's views of the stereotypical gay male would change when there's so much anime with bad ass female leads. Sorry, I don't mean to get political bs involved I'm sure I sound like some crazy SJW.

***There will be minor spoilers in this review. If you would prefer not to know anything, just watch it. I mean, what have you got to lose? No.6 is short and unforgettable. Negative reviews come from plot problems and pace, but how rare is it to find an anime that is perfect? Just note that the manga does have a better ending. After watching this anime, I fell so in love with the characters that I read both the light novel and the manga. While the anime version felt rushed at the end and the storyline was changed, I still think this anime is amazing. No.6 is not a perfect masterpiece, but it is a masterpiece. The story is about a boy, Shion, living in a privileged community that has no crime, poverty, and is a so-called perfect world. He is utterly innocent and kind, very trusting. Nezumi, a boy who lost everything, is the exact opposite of Shion. Hard around the edges, untrusting, pessimistic, and full of a desire for revenge. These two boys partake in an adventure to shut down this disastrous society after learning many secrets behind the truth of No.6. As they experience their journey, the two boys become close to each other. I found their relationship to be extremely moving and a longing from both characters for love and warmth. This creates an interesting dynamic between them as well as interesting character development. I really enjoyed the amazing contrasts and complexity of the relationship that occurs. At the end, it is plain as day that Shion believes the most important and most beautiful moments of his life are the ones he spent with his friend, eating Macbeth soup and reciting Shakespeare. Please watch this anime.

I love stories of dystopian society when they go bad. Imagine a beautiful city with awesome infrastructure and seemingly happy looking people… but where the old people are killed when they are not longer needed, art is not allow and where you can’t say anything against your goverment in fear of death. Story: I think the story is great. Like it starts with the main character being a kid and then it goes to the reality now a day. Unfortunately he get's in a tricky situations and has to leave the city... to go with a person he met as a kid to an abandoned city outside the wall that the goverment is trying to destroy... It's a great story This anime is simply perfect, from the animation, character, story and setting. I could watch it over and over again.

The most important feature of No. 6 is the element of surprise. Most of the events that will happen won't be expected and those that one expect will most likely not happen! It is not an all happy go lucky anime despite the fact that it's more colourfull than less dark or cruel anime(like darker than black or steins; gate). It really works on its characters and their feelings and backgrounds, so if you are not prepared to think a bit more deep about feelings and getting in the shoes of someone then don't watch it! Although it is a rather sensitive anime if you don't like shocking events like death-and even massive one- then don't watch it! I personally saw a video and like Nezumi that is why I started the anime!

I really enjoyed watching this series. I think the characters were a little bit trope-y but overall were dynamic and very human, in the sense that I could relate to them and their decisions seemed logical if you put yourself in their places. The relationship between Shion and Nezumi was really adorable to watch grow and develop. I think part of what made this series enjoyable was watching the characters grow along with their interactions with other characters and with their situations evolving. The art was fluid and very nice to watch, and along with pretty music including a reoccurring song throughout the series, it was well put together as far as sound and art. Overall, if you like action dystopian animes or if you're in it for character development and relationships- you will enjoy this anime, especially because it is only 11 episodes long and can easily be watched in one day.

Based on the novel, it strays a little bit away at some points. The main theme and everything is still there. They also left out part of the ending in the novel, which is absolutely amazing. if you've finished watching this anime, I recommend you to read chapter 35 (last chapter) of the novel. This is a very good anime and has you on the edge of your seat. The plot is great but it suffers from pacing issues. The earlier episodes and the last two episodes have so much crammed inside. While some of the middle episodes had very little point and barely anything happened in them at all. The opening is alright and the ending is amazing. It totally fits the mood and although the soundtrack isn't perfect, the director knew where to fit it in. The art is great and the animation is definitely respectable. Shion and Nezumi are very likable characters. Shion's over reliance on others and his "can't do anything on his own", personality may annoy some and seems very cliche. Shion is a very confusing person as well. One moment he's thinking about Safu, the girl he loves, and the next he kisses Nezumi. Definitely some gay undertones that felt unneeded and definite fanservice for girls. Personally, it didn't bother me too much but there are cringe-worthy moments. Overall: A touching and emotional journey.A twist in the slice of life genre. Ending is short and may be confusing for those that haven't read the novel. You are left thinking part of the last episode got cut off. Unsatisfying conclusion to an otherwise great anime.

After completing No. 6, I must say, I am very impressed and deeply in love. I admit: I only decided to watch the anime because I had seen fanart of Shion x Rat and thought they were an adorable pairing. But when I actually got down to watching it, I realized it was so much more than that, and hardly even revolved around romance (let alone yaoi). Normally, it’ll take me at least a week to finish even a short anime. Yet I was so infatuated with No. 6 that I watched all 11 episodes in one day. I watched the English dub since I’m too lazy to read subs, and although the dubbing was nothing extraordinary I can’t say it was horrible overall. Besides, I focused on the plot and characters instead. Overall, a majority of the characters were developed fabulously. I am particularly in love with Rat- his story, his personality… I also absolutely adore Dog Keeper. Certainly one of my favorite characters. The only character I could not bring myself to like was Safu. Nonetheless, I’m perfectly content with how the story ended for her. I enjoyed the sprinkle of romance included; how it didn’t overpower the plot, without leaving the viewer completely disappointed with the lack of it. Although I personally would have loved to see Rat and Shion be admittedly in love, I’m totally content with how their relationship actually was. (Another couple I would have loved to see form is Dog Keeper and Rikiga, but I’m sure that’s a very unpopular opinion.) As for the ending… It gave me a chance to dry my tears, I’ll say that much. It was far from a fairytale happy ending, but still not so tragic that it hurt. Yes, I would have liked to know what happened next, yet it ended in a good place. Perhaps it’s a good thing to be uninformed of, for example, what becomes of the baby left in Shion’s care, or if Shion and Rat ever do meet again. The viewer can be free to assume whatever they’d like, and that’s a good thing. Overall: I’d rate it an 8.5/10, maybe even a 9. Despite only being 11 episodes, I don’t think the plot was rushed at all, and the story successfully completed itself. I would highly recommend this anime for anyone into the idea of futuristic dystopians, and prepared to shed a few tears.

When I first started to watch No. 6, I was afraid of a sad ending and thus debated whether to watch it at all. But I'm very glad I did. No. 6 is a touching story of two young boys from two very different worlds. It displays a clear picture of the differences between the ignorant and blissful inside world and the rough reality of the outside world. The story revolves around the city called No. 6 and as the story progresses, the city's secrets begin to be revealed. Without spoiling anything I'll move on to my opinions. The world of No. 6 is built strong and everything works. The shabby run-down Western outskirts make a great contrast to the utopian futuristic world of No. 6. The story is great and fits the created world perfectly. It has a lot of dark aspects to it and adds a lot to the thrill! The art is excellent too. The backgrounds are always magnificent and detailed and the animation was great, as expected from BONES. Action scenes were pretty neat, though not the best you can find. The background music wasn't that memorable, but it suited the atmosphere every time. I was overjoyed every time the other main character, Nezumi, sang. The opening and ending themes and the animation were really good and fit the story better than well! I also really loved the character designs. And not only did the characters look excellent, but they were probably one of the strongest parts in the series! Both the main characters Nezumi and Shion are very different and nicely balanced but they also change each other. The character development during these 11 episodes is amazing and yet very realistic. There is affection between these two and whether to be considered platonic or not depends entirely on the viewer. For myself, however, I find them to have little romantic feelings for each other. Not for the fact that I like boys together but it actually feels right and suits the story. However this show is often considered as yaoi or shonen ai, but in fact, it's either. Most definitely not yaoi but the shonen ai part depends a little on the viewer. As a reviewer I gave the whole a 9. Not because of pure math (final 9,4), not even because it would lack anything. But when it comes to recommending this series, I can't guarantee that _everybody_ would find it as good as I did. Most people probably do though. My personal score for this series is a 10 and I rarely rate anything 10 because that would mean the series is perfect and flawless. However everything in No. 6 works and the impression it left on me was, well, perfect. Considering the small amount of characters and the length, it still managed to build a great story. I felt really emotional at the end and would have wished for more episodes, but why try to construct on a building that is already clean and finished?

I was a bit dubious about this anime at first since all I had heard of it seemed to focus on the relationship between the main characters Shion and Nezumi. However, this was not the case. This show is about so much more than their relationship and although it may be there, it’s not nearly as big as everyone seemed to make it. One point this anime makes is: we are all human. Story - Set in the near future after the last Great War, most of mankind lives in a handful of cities. The story takes place in No.6, one of these cities. Here, life is perfect; there is no suffering, no starving children on the streets. It seems like a Utopia, but, of course, with one little catch - you must be completely submissive to the city and never, ever say anything that would make you seem dissatisfied with how you are treated. Meanwhile, outside the city walls, there is a civilisation living in squalor. People who are surviving off anything they can, including scraps from the city. On his 12th birthday, Shion helps a boy after he appears at his window with a wounded arm. As Shion is tending to him he finds out that the boy, Nezumi, is a VC. A criminal. Not that Shion cares though. Four years later Nezumi returns the favour by rescuing Shion as he is being falsely arrested for a crime he did not commit. They escape to the Western District, outside the wall. And together try to find out the truth about No.6. Character – I really enjoyed and connected to the characters, how you could see them slowly changing as they got more attached to each other. For instance, normally gentle Shion would get rather violent if someone tried to hurt Nezumi or say anything bad about him. And normally rough Nezumi was more kind towards Shion than anyone else. The supporting characters were also well developed. The only one that confused me was whether or not Inukashi was a boy or not… I was never entirely sure. Art – The art was average. It was definitely best during the opening, fantastic detailing and great effects. The actual show, however, had a tendency to slip up. Although there was nothing so bad as to take you away from the show. Music – The opening took me a while to get used to, since it is unusually high pitched but I also couldn’t help but feel that it really suited this anime. The background music worked well with the show, it didn’t have much that actually stood out for me, since I remember only parts of it. But Nezumi’s singing! This was definitely the best part of the music during the entire show. I absolutely adored his singing and kind of wished there was more of it. Conclusion – Overall, this was a very enjoyable show and pushed me through a range of emotions right the way through. I was smiling at parts and crying at others, something that only the best can do. I’m sure with more episodes it could have done so much more and expanded certain parts but as it is, it’s crept its way into my top ten animes. As a side note, I have not taken the novel or manga into consideration. So I’m unable to compare them. I’m reviewing it purely as it is.

This anime doesn't have too many good reviews so here's another good one! This show is not for people who are against yaoi or are not good with blood and death. At one point the two main characters do kiss and they do go to a place where there is a pile of dead bodies...wasn't pretty. If you're against those things then of course you WOULD NOT like it. Why I see most people are downrating this anime is because of the plot and story. There is almost no plot other than Sion wanting to save No.6 from the parasitic bees. Other than that, which isn't mentioned a lot, there's no plot. The story doesn't really develop a whole lot either but it's entertaining. It has a good amount of action, comedy, romance and gory scenes to make it a good anime. There are some things I didn't like which is perfectly normal since no anime is perfect. I didn't like it when Sion and Nezumi "changed personalities" in a late episode. It didn't seem like them so I was practically screaming and crying at my laptop to stop. Also the last scene made me want to kill my laptop because it was just so bad. "Let's go, Hamlet" was the last sentence... REALLY?! Now I have to read the novel so I won't stay up thinking about what happens after that because I heard that it tells you in the novel. What really bothered me is what Nezumi kept telling Sion. Whenever Sion asked Nezumi why he hated No.6 he we would say, "I'll tell you later" or just avoid the question entirely. So we NEVER FOUND OUT WHY HE HATES NO.6!! So basically the first episode was good. The second was also good. The third was getting off the plot. Then from episode four to seven or so there was no development in the plot whatsoever. I was perfectly fine with that since it still entertained me. Then from eight to eleven the plot came about again and then the series ended three episodes later. This anime is all how you see it and on what type of anime you like. If you're okay with not having plot development then go right ahead and start on this! If you absolutely need a plot then I wouldn't bother with this although it was very good. Now to start the novel... :D

This anime was perfect, that's all I can say. The only downside is the "11 episode" part. I would have personally want more. In this anime, there is slight yaoi. Very fluff, though. If you don't like yaoi before you watch this anime, you will afterwards. Each episode keeps you wanting more. If you like dystopias, fantasy, action, and slight yaoi, this anime is just the one for you!

I may have been too lenient on my score for this anime, but what can I say, it really captivated me. This review may contain spoilers. I saw a post about the manga and decided to give it a try. Compared to the anime, the manga's art definitely gets a nine. I got hooked onto the series quite quickly. I've always been attracted to plots like this; a seemingly perfect city and a tragic world outside its walls. Sadly, not all volumes were translated yet and I was craving for more. So I went and watched the anime. 11 episodes and I finished them in one sitting. That's how good it was. I can't say the characters were original; I've seen the cold-hearted and innocent characters getting paired together before, yet they still hooked me. I still enjoyed their interactions, much more their relationship. Truthfully, I expected a best friends kind of thing, but was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be slightly shounen-ai, or boys' love. The good thing about this kind of shounen anime is that you can insert a bit of shounen-ai (I will use this term since I'm more familiar with it) without having the entire story revolve around it. It's a byproduct at most--a byproduct you'd crave for. Frankly speaking, I wish they had more shounen-ai action in it, but that's just my yaoi-fangirl opinion. There weren't many other characters, as the anime was short. I didn't really get the point of the mother. I was just getting attached to her, and was very disappointed when all she was was a sitting duck. She barely had a role there. I find connecting with her was a waste of time. However, I fairy liked the Dogkeeper (I find myself accustomed to calling her this, instead of Inukashi) and Rikiga. They were an enjoyable pair, although I think they needed a bit more spotlight. Their pasts weren't shone (as far as I remember) and Rikiga's participation in the creation of No. 6 baffles me still. Even Nezumi's (Rat's) past was hazy. Not a lot was explained and I'm still confused as to how he got himself into the situation where he first met Sion. But all in all, they were enjoyable and they were lovable as supporting characters. Hmm, what can I say about the plot? It's about this boy genius named Sion. He had his future waiting for him. He was going to go to a prestigious school with Safu, his friend, but all that was taken from him when he harbored the escaped prisoner Nezumi. Nezumi escaped with Sion's help, and the authorities found out and stripped Sion's privileges. Four years later, they meet again in a curious situation where Nezumi saves Sion's life and they escape to the Western District, outside the city walls. The authorities had put the deaths of two people on Sion and he was now labeled as a criminal. They meet people in the Western District and Nezumi and Sion deepen their relationship.Sion receives a distress mail from his mother saying his best friend Safu was being contained by the authorities and as they try to save her, secrets were revealed about Nezumi's and the city's past. They go and come to the aid of Safu, and they find out in the end that Safu was actually some kind of powerful outer being. The correctional facility they were in gets destroyed and the walls separating the city and the Western District falls down. A few dramatic scenes and almost-deaths and the story ends. It was a typical short story, but not something you could predict all the time and get bored with. The shortness of everything was part of the magic. In less than 11 episodes, you're hooked and crazy for it already. It's the details etched in the scenes that make you crave for more. Yes, the ending was kind of overly dramatic, and I did find that kind of disappointing, but that didn't affect my judgement for the entire story itself. I definitely recommend this, but not to just anyone. For instance, I'm sure this won't appeal to shoujo-loving girls who like things such as Shugo Chara, or any of those pink and frilly things. They wont appreciate the wonders of this story because they're not the type to find these things appealing. Those that do are those that enjoy shows like Full Metal Alchemist, or something of Hayao Miyazaki's (Spirited Away, Nausica of The Valley of The Wind, etc). It's eccentric in its way; girly in the sense of the characters interactions with each other but guy-ish in the concept of the story. It's something anyone who's got an open mind would like.

Alright so i don't write reviews often because i suck at them, but this anime made me want to write one really bad. So here goes nothing. Oh and i have only seen 5/11 episodes because that is all i can find subbed. ~Story~ ~10/10~ ~Art~ ~10/10~ ~Sound~ ~9/10~ ~Character~ ~10/10~ ~Enjoyment~ ~10/10~ XOX Hailey Alright it is now 2014 and it has almost been three years since i originally began and reviewed this anime. While I've deleted all the previous comments I have made, I have decided to keep my original scoring for comparison. Alright so story has gone from 10/10 to an 8/10. To start with during my 2 1/2 year hiatus from no.6 I watched a movie called origins: spirits of the past, A movie that I love, and While watching no.6 I kept getting reminded of this movie. What I kind of see here is a longer version of Origins, with a little special male bonding thrown in. However that was originally only gonna bring it down about one point. When episode 7 came around though I started to loose interest in the story. I don't want to give away too much but from here on out things began to get weird for me. This mostly had to do with the characters sudden changes in personality, I couldn't quite grasp parts of the story that was trying to be told either. (((I feel like this review is coming off as me hating the anime, but i really don't it's quite interesting and I enjoyed it for the most part it just had a hard time holding my interest after a while))) Anyways what really brought this down to an 8 was the ending. I kinda just sat there thinking wtf. This is not ending, this is not how it should go. IDK I was confused as to why it had to end the way it did, but whatever not really my choice how this goes :3 Art originally 10/10 now 9/10. Okay so all the characters are pretty as crap, especially their eyes, and hair. But there are times when they walk or make some movements and it is just like derp da derp, which is why this cat. was dropped a point. However the scenery and people were beautiful over all. The music stayed at 9/10 because at times I was like "What the hell is this random music in here for" It just didn't really always flow with the scenes at times and I was like "Nah you're ruining the mood." Other times it fit well though Also a huge fan of the OP and ED I'm gonna download both at some point haha Character drop, because as far as I had made it they all seemed normal and then they started getting all weird. It didn't seem as if there was and cha. develop. and when there was a slight show of some it was taken away (Again trying not to give too much away cause idk what people will get mad about knowing/not knowing idk) OKay so enjoyment a ten cause even after the weird character issues and the crap ending I do love nezumi, shion, and the dog keeper. They are all adorable and plus the two cuties kis, what more could you want in life ;) okay prob. my last review ever cause they suck but
