This was a fun watch but unfortunately it isn't canon. As an OVA, it's nothing too crazy but gives decent closure to the series. I think Steins;Gate's strongest aspect is it's characters. You get a decent dose of them in this series. Make sure to watch steinsgate 0 before this and the movie. Steinsgate is more depressing than it seems but it truly is one of the best stories in anime. The watch order is skewed so i'd recommend watch steinsgate all the way, watch divide by zero prequel to steinsgate 0. Then watch episodes 23 and 24 again, then watch the episode 25 OVA then the movie. 7/10

After watching Steins;Gate , and you need more of it , but you are tired of science and physics and everything happened in the Anime , well Steins;Gate: Oukoubakko no Poriomania is the right place to begin with . this episode is not an unnecessary fan service episode that usually comes out after an anime finishes which has no meaning , it's a small sequel for the anime , it's about Okabe Rintarou and the rest were invited by Faris/Rumiho to the United States to watch her in her Rai-Net battle , but in their way they meet Kurisu and the fun begins , later Okabe finds someone important and follows that one and the real fun begins here ! Art : the Art was somehow even better than in the anime sound : it was not bad and we could hear the Steins;Gate's OP song "Hacking to the Gate" at the end Character : Okabe , Mayushi and the rest of Lab members are there and that 1 more extra new girl . Enjoyment : no one can not enjoy a great sequel from Steins;Gate

From the creators of an excellent show comes an excellent special. Although I really shouldn't be surprised, I still am. Here is a special that does not merely offer an alternate ending or a pointless trip to the beach (we've all seen that one more than once before, am I right?). Steins;Gate: Oukoubakko no Poriomania actually manages to continue with the original story line in a way that is funny, entertaining, and simply beautiful. While once again giving us a pleasant and satisfying ending, it is not an obligatory episode to watch before the next season or anything else. As such, it once more reminds us that Stein's;Gate is out to please its fans and not to milk them for their money (Oreimo specials, I'm looking at you). Since the characters from Stein's;Gate have already been extremely well established and developed in the original anime series, it is no surprise that they manage to stay true to themselves even when their setting suddenly changes. Going from Akihabara to LA is apparently no problem for someone who has mastered the useful phrase "I am mad scientist!" ...Or is it? From funny broken English to flying cans of Dr. Pepper, this special has everything to make you fall in love with your favorite characters all over again. Whether you've really missed them or simply wondered what they could possibly be up to after the ending of the first season, this episode is likely to satisfy all your Stein's;Gate cravings as well as make you smile with delight and nostalgia. If you really want to find a flaw in it, however, then it would probably be the fact that Okabe goes out for a drink with a total stranger in LA who for some odd reason just happens to speak perfect Japanese. Other than that, this special is nearly as flawless (if not more so) as its predecessor, the one anime we all love and adore - Stein's;Gate. Just as the original, this show is best enjoyed by, well, actually watching it and not spoiling it by reading a bunch of reviews. So what are you waiting for? Go watch it before the Organization deciphers your evil plans. El Psy Congroo.

So, my question is why this is an OVA and not chapter 25 Epilogue, this is not a real OVA this is the epilogue of the serie, I don't have anything against this Epilogue it's good enough for the serie that they gave us, it's just the same as the serie, but WHY? WHY? It was really necessary giving to it a new title and call it OVA? As I said before It's basically this is chapter 25 Epilogue and not "Steins;Gate: Oukoubakko no Poriomania" There is nothing different to say about this chapter from the serie, it's just a 10/10 but I reduce it to a 7/10 for doing that stupid shit of giving a new title and calling it OVA.

I'm just going to stick to my 10/10 for everything. This is one of the best Specials I've ever seen, the only other good special I've seen so far is Fate/Stay Night UBW (Sunny Day) This special isn't the generic fan service type, it was more of a calm finish to the 1st season. We have Christina showing her tsundere moments, Okarin doing stupid things, Ruka being an awkward "dude" and the works! We have romance scenes, extreme tsundere moments, and the best part. Kurisu able to recall some of the other world lines! She remembers how much they loved each other. And the best way to end off the season, our dear Kurisu and Okabe re-enacting the "first kiss scene" BLESS ME! THIS LEAVES ME WITH AN EMPTY HEART KNOWING Season 1 is Over!!! And now I have to watch my dear characters suffering again in the S;G movie and S;G 0 DAMMMMMMMMMMMMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT EL PSY CONGROO!!!! Take note that this review may be outdated. Always check my profile for my latest rating, I may have changed my rating due to various reasons.

PLEASE watch this AFTER completing Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0. This is what you want to end with. This special does a really nice job of giving you one last fun time with the characters. In my opinion, the ending of Steins;Gate is a bit fast and abrupt, which is fine, but you may not feel complete after watching it. This episode will give you a bit more completeness. You will see the characters you love enjoying their life after finally overcoming the obstacles in Steins;Gate. However, this is not just a silly episode with the characters. There is some important talks that happen in this episode about the time travel and especially about Okabe an Kurisu. I actually really like that they added this, it feels canon and important to watch. It makes you see what the future will be like for them. I wish that maybe this had been a 40 minute episode instead so we could have more adventures with the characters and see more about Okabe and Kurisu's relationship, but it is sufficient in giving you a real ending. Steins;Gate 0 is majorly depressing. I strongly recommend watching this after Steins;Gate 0 to brighten your mood and make you happy. The characters will be there same, loveable selves again.

Nothing much other than an extra episode for Steins; Gate. It doesn't really add anything major to the world and is just there for like what happened after the end of the series. There is minor character exposition but otherwise there isn't anything else. We see some of the supporting characters again and the writing was solid. The visuals are still high quality I didn't see any CG and the music is well done pretty much identical to the series. If you just simply want more Steins Gate then this is it but otherwise like I said before there is really nothing else.

I'll keep the review short as it is covering 1 episode only and it is 20 minutes long. Steins;Gate: Oukoubakko no Poriomania is a special episode following Okabe and his lab members visiting Makise Kurisu in the USA 6 months after Okabe reached Steins;Gate timeline. If you enjoyed Steins;Gate then it is very likely you will enjoy this episode as well, now onto the review. As far as I am concerned it wasn't stated whether it is canon episode or not. My positives: 1, Story: We follow recollections of Kurisu memories from Alpha timelines. We get to hear Kurisu, like Mayuri in Alpha timeline has dreams of her experiencing many things, including exchanging kiss with Okabe. Oukoubakko no Poriomania serves as a finale to Kurisu and Okabe romance with humorous input and some 'easter eggs'. The story itself is structured pretty well with humorous moments that work quite well. I think this episode has managed to deliver a good finale. 2, Art and Music: Pretty much the same as Steins;Gate, so if you enjoyed anime, then you should enjoy this too. I didn't find really anything that would be annoying or bad, just a few nitpicks here and there. Overall it is 9/10.

Note: Make sure you watch the original series at the very least first before reading. Great Ova episode to finish off Steins Gate. Now I'm watching the series in release order, I may regret it as people will say the way you watch the series affects your experience, but I rather go by how it was released, instead of some other order. Now of course it's an ova so it's one episode, and very simple. They get invited to America to go watch a tournament for Faris' game. But they also get to visit Kurisu. It's nothing story heavy but rather an add-on to the overall relationship for the characters for the events that took place after Steins Gate. Nothing heart heavy that'll make you want to cry unless your crying tears of happiness lol. Overall: Good ova to their storyline 9/10

Hey, hey! Guess what? This is an ACTUAL sequel! Hard to believe, right? No, but really, this is the aftermath episode to Steins;Gate that YOU needed after finishing the main series. This is a nice little episode. I mean, I do feel like it probably could've been summed up at the end of the anime rather than put into a whole, seperate episode. That being said, I think it's cool that this important information was given to the viewer through the veil of an American vacation. The information we do get answers, probably, the only two unanswered questions I had when I finished the main series, which I'm glad for. I'm still not a fan of the art style, but what the hell, ya know? It's not really fitting with the original tone of the series, but this episode is funny, sort of interesting, and it wraps up the main series quite nicely. Though, there's still a movie, so I'll be over there if you need me.

This was fine. I absolutely love the show, so I was really looking forward to this. In my opinion, the show wrapped up everything perfectly. There were some loose ends, but I was fine with not seeing them play out. Just like real life, not everything has perfect closure. Then they open up some new storylines in this OVA, and then kind of just leave it on a bit of a cliffhanger. I know there's a movie, so I'll have to check that out at some point. This is all just my opinion, but it's just a shame that this OVA seemed to take away from what was already a pretty great ending. This review seems pretty negative, but I really did enjoy seeing these characters again. I'll get to the movie eventually!

This is 10/178 of trying to watch every single Time Travel anime on MAL So, this is the sort of "Sequel" to Steins;Gate, I liked the show, but this special didn't have anything too special about it What It's About ------------------- This special follows Okabe and his friends traveling to the USA. There, they meet Kurisu, who has been having memories of the other timelines that Okabe ventured throughout. What I Liked ---------------- There's not that much. I liked that there were some resolutions and extra plot details, but that's about it. The characters are the same and nothing is really built on from the show. What I Disliked ------------------- The main thing is that nothing much really goes on in this special. It's not that long and the extra info that we got from here wasn't exactly revolutionary. It's really just another episode Overall --------- While this special isn't bad per se, it doesn't really add much to the anime, it feels like just another piece of content for fans of the series. There's not much to say here, watch it if you liked Steins;Gate and want to see a few questions answered.

A fantastic continuation of the absolute beast this series has done to me, not just mentally but emotionally. It's hard putting the pieces together and understanding the complex details but I finally got around it. I saw another review saying that they're glad this wasn't a filler episode like a beach episode and I totally agree. Instead we got closure and even more lore. Majority of this episode still has the comedic strengths that made the first half of the original Steins;Gate series worthwhile. Sure it still can't distract us from the absolute rollercoaster of emotions but we get more of the gang in action and no more time leaping. The crazy reveal of Suzuha's mom was insane too, even keeping the same English voice actress. The romantic relationship between Okabe and Kurisu is still powerful despite Kurisu not being the same. It's an incredible ending to this episode and a fantastic episode all around.

Specials, by their very principle, don't have much content to them, so it's very hard to give an opinion. The gang is here, and hasn't changed much compared to where they were left off. A bit of time passed, and Christina has gotten to join everyone again after the events of the original anime series. Although it does feel nice to be able to see everyone in a more casual situation compared to all the hectic time travel shenanigans we have gotten used to in the anime. And I guess that's all I can say really. White Fox did a great job again, although it's not as noticeable due to how more slice of life the whole thing is.

White Fox has done it once again. This OVA serves as a sequel to Steins;Gate episode 24, and it is an excellent continuation. Though it may not be canon, it creates such a happy and satisfying conclusion to the bittersweet ending of the original series. I was a pretty big fan of the slice-of-life and romance parts of the original series, and if you are as well, you'll probably like this as much as I did. If you've watched Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0, and are itching for more Steins;Gate content, give this one a shot. it's well worth the watch. (Especially for all of you Okabe x Kurisu fans out there ;) )

This takes place immediately after the events of Steins;Gate, and I must say, I got better than I was expecting. The ending, particularly, was not something you would anticipate from an OVA - making it all the more enjoyable. Visually, it is about the same as the first season. There wasn't a heavy amount of effort put into it and at times it dragged it down slightly, but it wasn't necessarily bad. The voice acting is on par with season 1 and I still felt the passion in it, but there was barely any background music and the only time we really get any is during the credits at the end. Rintaro Okabe (Hououin Kyouma) (Okarin) - The self-proclaimed mad scientist and protagonist of the series. Kurisu Makise (Assistant, Christina, The Zombie, Experiment-Loving Girl, Perverted Genius Girl, Celeb Seventeen, American Virgin, @Channeler Chris) - A genius girl who is a fresh university graduate and considered Okabe's assistant.

Steins;Gate was really really good, and the somewhat ambiguous ending left me wanting more. Here's that more people kept asking for, but it still manages to not do much. It's a short little story mostly about getting lost in the desert that just barely features all your favorite characters from the series not doing a whole lot. I probably only watched it because I was so stoked on the series at the time that I would've taken anything I could get. That's not to say it's straight up bad or painful to watch. I still liked it, I just was hoping they'd do more with it. So I still give it an 8/10
