Not particularly creepy or disturbing as I was lead to believe it would be, It is rather unwatchable for how boring it is. I really couldn't find any 'shocking' element that so many of you have found in this sayuri anime. Its one of those animes where I wanted to be disturbed but that I just can't. Thee gore websites have desensitized me so much that now I can look past a real myiasis- infested face without feeling any emotion at all. It strives to shock me 'n' I feel nothing. There was no plot itself to care about animation/sound; this 3 min ova doesn't have a meaning or significance. Thee whole thing appears to be littered with nonsensical juxtapositions of necromorphs 'n' spankings. I don't get it.

I'm not much a person for numbers but its hard to ignore the significance of Utsu musume Sayuri as it is the 100th anime I have watched to completion and as such I feel like I have to give my opinion. Anime is a form of art and as such there is no right or wrong way of doing it and Utsu really pushes the boundary. I knew beforehand that Utsu was teetering between the realms of Mars of destruction and Inferno Cop, Mars of destruction being purely terrible and Inferno Cop being a source of dank memes and like any sane person I was hoping for the latter and was truly shocked. I tried looking at Utsu in a different way: by looking at the plot only, the dialogue only, the music only, the art only, and the characters only; those factors alone made them seem like an orgy of awful. Ignoring the visuals, animation, voice acting, and "soundtrack" you just realize that this is a short about a "girl" named Sayuri striking some unidentified object that wants to be struck on its butt. I truly don't have words to describe the adverse effects The striking girl Sayuri has had on me, as you can tell by how horrendously worded this review is. The visuals are surreal indeed and are probably the kind that if handled correctly could possibly make the one man voice-acting a whole lot more bearable. CG animation isn't really my thing when its trying to replicate 2D animation and Mayuri doesn't help that stigmatisim, Mayuri is sitting on her husbands face for crying out! A husband that is literally just there, even the thing that was struck had multiple lines regardless of the fact that it lacked a name. However one 'positive' thing I can say about TSG Sayuri is that it in essence fulfilled its purpose as art, it pushed my buttons and got me thinking. Say what you will about how a human being could actually manifest this monstrosity and how MAL was insane enough to have this 'anime' on its site but one thing TSG Sayuri isn't is forgettable. You will forever remember the day and the moment you finished TSG as the first day to your new life. In very odd summation, watch utsu musume Sayuri. You may horrified or underwhelmed, I was a lot of both but it truly is unique in the best and worst kind of way that anime and by extension art can be; its certainly better to look at then pages of a phone-book behind glass in art Museum in New York.

The most helpful piece of advice I can give anyone at this point is to forget you ever heard about this. This thing is three minutes long and it's not worth anybody's three minutes. I'm sorry I thought it'd be edgy to watch a show everyone hates. Now I'm going to try to do this the way the guidelines say: The plot is non-existent. The video is unworthy of being called anime. The audio sounds like the whole thing was recorded while a toilet was being flushed in the background. Character: Sure, Sayuri was an interesting person. Just kidding. Summarily, don't watch this unless you think there's a show that's worse than this or you've been tied to a chair and there's a chain saw slowly wheeling towards you to split your head into two if you refuse to watch it. There, you've already wasted a minute on this show.

I'm not a fan of long reviews so I'm going to keep this short and to the point. I'm scared... I regret watching this... I'm crying... Don't watch it, have mercy on yourself. This is terrible.... Words can't explain how bad this is. I'm serious, don't watch this, this is terrifying. I'm worried for the man who worked on this, may god save him, and please send me holy water. The art ? I’m not sure if you can even call that art, it made me cry, I’m scared, it was terrifying. The voices were terrifying, I won’t be able to sleep no more The characters… I don’t even know what was happening yet alone know the characters…

.....*Takes a deep breath*..... WHAT THE F*CKING F*CK! What did I just wasted three minutes of my life watching?! Why did I waste 3 minutes of my life watching this?! Why God?! For those of you who don't know I'm a Josh, and today I am here to review this pile of variety of animal crap Utsu Musume Sayuri (A.K.A, A piece of shit) Story- BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAH.....HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! My god. This made Pupa, Mars Of Destruction and Skelter Heaven's stories look like fricking gold. I couldn't even try to tell you the story of this even if I wanted to. Overall 1/10 Art- I serious thought I could not see art so bad, so horrendous in my life. Oh my god. Like...Crap. This was so horrifying to look at and it isn't suppose to be horror...at least I think it isn't. But this makes Mars Of Destruction and Sketler Heavens animation look like gold! Overall 1/10 Sound- I could barely hear any words they said. I sincerely couldn't. And I had earphones in to. Overall 1/10 Character- 1/10. I am not even going to try and going into detail on this one. Screw it. 1/10 Enjoyment- I want those 3 precious minutes of my life back. 1/10 Overall- Stay far away from this. If you value 3 precious minutes of your life keep them. Don't waste it on this. Just keep them people. Keep them. Stay away from...whatever this is cause I refuse with all my heart and soul to even call this anime. I can usually find something I like in anything, hell I can even find some stuff I'm okay with the anime in my top 10 worst anime list. But this...this...I just can't. Now if you excuse me I have to cleanse my precious eyes by burning them.

After watching this thing, I am convinced that curses exist and I just watched one. This is one of the most baffling and just outright uncomfortable "anime" I've ever seen. But not in like "Oh, wow this is so deep and disturbing" type of way. But more like a college student arthouse film made after snorting a bunch of questionable substances. Everything about this thing is awful. The animation is slow, has few frames and just looks bad. The story is... was there a story? Turns out after checking the synopsis, there is one to my surprise. The sound is... like a really bad dark ambient song with utterly awful and barely understandable voice acting. This is atrocious, just honest to God, what? I'm convinced this is like that cursed tape from The Ring. Seven days, seven days is all I have left. Just don't see this, or do, is kinda amazing.

This small clip is like something an edgy art student on a heap load of acid would make to try to impress his 4 blog followers. My first thought was this was going to be something like MIDORI. That movie wasn't that bad considering all the effort into making it due to it being hand drawn and all, however, this work seems to be made for shits and giggles. I thought people were just being really negative about the show as it was different, but to be honest, I now see giving it a 2 is a generous score. Please don't watch this, it's a waste of time. Boku no Pico is more enjoyable.

I would rate this -3 if I could! It's that bad, seriously! Basically, this is the anime equivalent of shock sites. If you hate someone or have an enemy, send them a youtube link to this OVA. (You're welcome ^^) Story: -5 What story? It's an Incestual orgy between a bunch of deformed objects that are supposedly human? I don't even know! Animation: 2 The least disgusting thing about this. It's quite awful but it's still the best thing this OVA has to offer. Sound: 1 Some creepy guy telling a creepy story, sound effects are nauseating. Character: 0 Couldn't find any, there's no story to tell, therefore, there are no discernible characters. Enjoyment: -1 Overall: -3 Just avoid this like the plague that it is.

Holy Mother of God, please forgive me for my sins and give me your strength to forget what I just watched. Utsu Musume Sayuri was... probably the best possible illustration of how a mad person who was born prematurely after her father ended up in an asylum and her mother consumed at least 1kg of pure mixed heroine/cocaine per day. I literally wondered how could someone have such an idea. And in case you have the "Why did you watch you it dude" question in mind, let me answer it. I wanted to get this dumb badge (http://www.mal-badges.net/users/otorez#138) which was worth 50 XP. God, sometimes my achievements / stats hunter temper leads me to awfully awkward situations... In fact, you should - if God allows you to - just listen to it and if your brain has not ceased to work, then watch it with the sound. I feel ashamed to quote Shaper, a major character from the hack'n'slash Path of Exile (I love this game), but here his sentence suits decently : "Curiosity is followed by Ambition. Ambition is followed by Madness". Please be strong and avoid this pure piece of embarassing weirdness.

I'm not exactly sure if this is even anime. I mean it's made in Japan and it's animation so it does meet the bare minimum. But I'm not even sure if it's art. It's a three minute short about some kind of blob that engages in fetish sex with her parents. However it isn't erotic at all. The only memorable things about this are how bad and weird the show is. It feels like three wasted minutes. The sound is odd but the end credits stuck in my head so I gave sound the highest rating I've given any of the subsections; 2/10. I recommend this show to people who want to watch, not the worst anime ever, but the most pointless anime ever. Those who want to waste three minutes of their life. Or if you've heard how terrible and weird this is and don't believe it, watch it and you will see. This has no artistic value at all.

Before MAL even tries to take this review off for infringing on the rules of the review guidelines, please first remove all other reviews for this show that have given a 10. Because those reviews are obviously just flooding this show with troll reviews, which also goes against guidelines. Then Sayuri can actually get it's deserved average score of 1.00. Actually better yet, take this show off of MAL altogether. Then y'all won't have to deal with my unorthodox review. Cool thanks. Okay, so I thought that my second review would be for Re:Zero, but no. It's for this shit. I'm not gonna bother with being subjective or doing analysis, because it's obvious that Sayrui is garbage. This trash doesn't deserve my time. Why am I writing this, then? To vent. If you're actually reading reviews of Sayuri, then you're probably looking for people who are about as upset as you after wasting three minutes of your life on Sayuri. Because no sane person would watch this after seeing the 2.15 average MAL score along with the what the fuck description and photo. For the sake of the review, I'm going to get straight to the point. The story is shit. The art is shit. The sound is shit. The voice acting is shit. The characters are shit. The enjoyment is a negative value because I wish that I could rip my three minutes out of Sayuri's bowels after mutilating that demon as she is burning on a cross. That leaves for the overall recommendation of not to watch this abomination of an existence. Yes, this thing is an abomination of all things that merely EXIST. Again, I have no need to justify myself even if I am being extremely subjective because it's that obvious that everyone will agree with me, unless you're one of those trolls that gave a Sayuri a 10 and wasted your time faking a half-assed review for it. If that's the case, go fuck yourself. Find something better to do with your time. Like vent. Now, we have reached the point where I address the actual reason I've written this review. I did say I'm doing it to vent, but only to an extent. My venting and ranting is going to be directed towards a very controversial question: what makes an anime? Now, there's no point in answering this question in a broad context in a review for Sayuri. That's why I'm going to use Sayuri to help me set parameters for the question of what is an anime. To answer the question of what anime is, I can confidently say that anime is not Sayuri. No one in their right mind can call this abomination, that the bottom of my trash can is too good for, an anime. Yet here it is, on MAL. Type in Utsu Musume Sayuri on MAL and this abomination of all things that exist, this MISTAKE, will pop up. You know what's not gonna pop up? RWBY. For those who don't know, RWBY is a western animated online show created by Roosterteeth and the late Monty Oum. And, it is excellent. Of all the shows I currently have put on MAL, RWBY would easily make it in the top 5. With fantastic characters, interesting story development, intriguing setting, and awesome OST, RWBY is one of my favorite shows, ever. And it's not just me. Hundreds of thousands of others adore RWBY, much more than the number people who've enjoyed Sayuri (that number is 0, btw). Why is Sayuri acknowledged by MAL and not RWBY? Please, if you have a good reason, speak up. Is it because of Sayrui's disgusting voice acting that will haunt my dreams? What about the impressive and dedicated cast of celebrated voice actors for RWBY? Is it because of soundtrack and art in Sayuri that made me envy people who are blind and deaf? What about the fluid animation put together by Roosterteeth, amazing OST sung by Jeff Williams, and dynamic fight scenes envisioned by Monty Oum and others? Is it for a complete lack of any coherent story that someone high on shrooms, heroin, ecstacy, and whatever else can't even reproduce? What about RWBY's story that leaves people wanting more after every episode? Is it for the characters that are all so disturbing that Dante would've saved a 10th circle of hell in his Divine Comedy just for them? What about the cast of lovable RWBY characters that people easily fall in love with and get attached to? Point proven. There IS no reason for Sayuri to be acknowledged as an anime, and for a production like RWBY not to be. Now, for the call to action. There are two things that can be done remedy this mistake. The first is to acknowledge RWBY as an anime, because if Sayuri is an "anime," RWBY sure as hell is an anime. A better one, at that. The other thing that can be done is to remove Sayuri from MAL and disregard this garbage, hoping that time will make it rot away and die out. It doesn't deserve to get recognized. Honestly, if Sayuri is an anime, there are a whole bunch of Hentai, CGI porn, and other "unacceptable" productions that are surely more enjoyable and definitely even more acceptable than Sayuri. Adopt a broad definition or a strict definition for anime, I don't really care. But if MAL wants to call Sayuri an anime, the list better be ready to offer spots on the anime list to just about every other show in existence, because there is no world where this abomination can be called an anime and something else cannot.

Story (1/10) ... I don't even... whaaaat? Art (1/10) Some creepy claymation stuff. Sound (1/10) There was sound? I only heard choking noises. Enjoyment (4/10) I laught so hard, that I almost fell out of my chair. It was so bad.. well, it was better then Mars of Destruction. Overal (2/10) The sad thing is that I have seen anime more pathetic then this (Mars of Destruction & Boku no Pico). However, this was slightly amusing... just slightly.. and it only takes 3 minutes. Should you watch it? Before you do, become high or drunk, maybe it will work for a amusing 3 minutes. If not, destroy this anime with fire.

I will just make this review really, really, really, really short. Story (1/10): The story is awful. It's the weirdest one ever created, in my opinion. I don't get the story. I don't see it's depth, relevance or message. It's disturbing to some extent. Art (1/10): The animation is weird. It's like a psycho child made it. Sound (1/10): Bad voice acting. Horrible script. Horrible sound. Character (1/10): I don't even understand the characters! They're doing this fetish, sexual stuff crap! Enjoyment (1/10): Nope, didn't enjoy it. If you have a thing for weird stuff, then go give this a try. Just stay your hands away from your eyes.

This is one of those short clips that people who rave about it will say "OhEmGee, you didn't get it? You don't have an open mind. You're not artistic enough to understand the concept" or whatever other hipster bull shit they try to tell you. It appears it's meant to be funny, but it's not at all. This makes watching it even more irritating since you're expected to take it seriously. I live for short stories that tell a deep moving theme through the reliance of visual appeal, but this did not tell anything. If trying hard was a sport, this anime would be the Robin Thicke of that title. Basically, it's what happens when 4chan meets LSD and then you summon up the nerve to call it performance art.

Story: There is no story, this doesn't even deserve to be called anime, I'd rather watch Mars Of Destruction, than watch this shit. Art: The art is terrible it's not even qualified as anime art, it's fucking horrible. The art looks like a 1 year old made it. Sound: The sound is terrible, I've seen plenty of bad anime but at least their sound didn't sound like a guy with a mic in his mouth. Character: There is no character, there just a bunch of creep mutants. Enjoyment: I never enjoyed it, I felt like puking after watching this so-called anime. Overall: It is terrible, and disturbing, the sound is terrible and is fucking awful, the character is atrocious, and I didn't enjoy it a bit, and I give this a 1/10. Please for the love of god, don't watch this.

Made entirely by one person, Takashi Kimura, Utsu Musume Sayuri is a short animation that feels like a Pee Wee's Playhouse short that never made it off the drawing board. There's no real satisfaction in watching this, besides the fact that I'm wasting my life by watching + reviewing this

Wasn't as bad as I was expecting, it was just stupid in a goofy way. And I think that's what it was going for. I was never bored while watching this, whether that's because it was 3 minutes or because it was an odd show I don't know. (Probably both) The art and sounds were really bad, but it felt like a shitty PS1 game/early 3D Pixar movie, which was oddly nostalgic for me. The only semblance of plot was about Sayuri striking something with her big black cock. I gave Sayuri a 5 because I was entertained, despite understanding that it was a shit show. But being entertaining is a lot more than most shows are capable of now. Just watch it to say you've watched it, it's only 3 minutes. By the time you've finished reading this you could've already completed it.

This is possibly the most cursed and haunting thing I've watched , If i watched this on repeat I'm sure to end up in a mental asylum, DO NOT WATCH THIS it will be the worst 3 minutes of your life , I only just watched it now and I feel like my soul just left its body , Im really utterly disgusted that this even exists , what even the Fuck is this shit. This is horrible , just as bad as banging your privates against a steel beam, no its even worse than that watching this makes me want to OD on some hard drugs and drive a motorcycle straight into a shopping centre just to crash into a water fountain to drown my sorrows in it and hopefully never be taken to hospital so I can leave the world knowing I dont need to remember Sayuri

If you're reading this review, chances are you have either been told to watch Utsu Musume Sayuri by some mischievous 3rd party, or have already seen it and are here to find the simple comfort that what you just experienced was not a product of some wicked hallucination, dream, or sleep paralysis, and was actually a thing that was once seen by another human being. Unfortunately for the rest of us, this isn't in your head. This is a real thing that we have to make space for on our mortal plane of existence. If your friend DID tell you to go watch this, don't go in with high hopes. In fact, don't go in with any hopes, because even the lowest of expectations will be shattered. In my entire state of being, I've been exposed to only two pieces of media that are worse than Shitcom, and if you haven't seen Shitcom, know that it's an "OVA" that was made for either the grossest, worst kind of gross comedy connoisseurs, or for scat fetishists. The lesser of these offenders is the Panty And Stocking OVA, which takes the worst parts of Panty And Stocking and puts them back to back for 10 miserable minutes. The worse offender is, you guessed it, Utsu Musume Sayuri. Apparently this kind of thing has it's own genre, called "dementia," probably named for what people wish they had after having seen this monstrous shite. This isn't anime. This isn't "art" or whatever justification was behind this. Anyone pretending that this has some sort of meaning or message behind it is either 1. Faking it for the funnies 2. The type of person who enjoys over analyzing gross things like this (and it's ok if you are, I can't say it wasn't fun to try) Or 3. Has been dropped on their head enough to actually believe that this is some sort of "master film, brimming at it's embroidered tips with metaphor, anecdote, and symbolism. masked under a brilliant veil that leads one to question, not only the film being shown to them, but to question themselves." I don't need to explain why this is awful and disturbing. If I did, it would take longer for you to read this review than it would take to watch the whole OVA (it's on YouTube by the way). So yeah, go ahead and let yourself be absorbed by this story of... Love, I think. It's kinda hard to tell with all those polygons that are infesting my neural pathways.
