More specifically called "parallel twin-turbos". Other kinds of turbocharging include sequential turbocharging, and staged turbocharging. The latter is used in diesel automobile racing applications.

It’s practically a picture drama. These episodes are simple, comedic little stories that function as extras and have absolutely no impact on the main plot. They are essentially a way to showcase everyday situations and character interactions without any obligation to advance the story. Since they are short episodes focused solely on humor and mundane scenarios, they can easily be watched as a supplement to the main work, but they can also be skipped without making any difference. For me, the biggest issue lies in the presentation. The animation is extremely simple, consisting mostly of static scenes with only occasional moments of light movement. This, combined with nothing but voice acting and dialogue, makes the experience feel much more like a picture drama than a conventional anime. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, since the format suits the concept of short extras, but it doesn't make for a particularly engaging viewing experience either. I was also quite indifferent to the content. Some situations are cute, and there are moments that make good use of the characters' personalities, but nothing here really hooked me or elicited a strong reaction. These are the kind of episodes where you watch, get the joke or the scenario, and then likely forget about it immediately. There is no significant development, no important information, and not even a particularly memorable moment that makes these extras worthwhile on their own. In my case, the experience just kind of came and went. I can't say I disliked it, that would be an exaggeration, as there’s nothing particularly annoying or bad enough to make the experience unpleasant. At the same time, I can't say I liked it either, as I struggled to find anything that truly entertained me or justified the time spent. It’s the sort of content where you finish and just think, "Okay, so that was that," without feeling like you gained or lost anything by watching it. That said, I believe there is an audience for this format. Those who really like the characters from Kyoukai no Kanata and want to consume any additional content featuring them can likely find some entertainment in these episodes. However, for anyone looking for something beyond that, it is hard to recommend them. The virtually non-existent animation and the lack of relevant content make these extras quite dispensable. Ultimately, they are just minor additions that don't harm the main work, but don't add much either. I don't regret watching them, but I definitely see no reason to recommend them to anyone else, unless they are already a huge fan of the series and want to check out absolutely every bit of extra material. Raiting: 5/10. No meu caso, a experiência simplesmente passou batida. Nota: 5/10.
