The Prince of Tennis

Prince of Tennis, a sports anime and one of the few sports animes I've watched and happened to enjoy watching. I won't waste time here with the synopsis, I'm sure you can look it up yourself if you really wanted to. Story: I think the story progressed nicely as you watch the rise and fall, the hardship and the many lessons our main star endures to reach his goals. Many sports animes tend to focus on the main character working from being a total clutz with zero talent into the world's greatest *insert sports here* player. This anime moves slighly away from that and we start to understand that, life doesn't end when you become great, there are many more lessons in life one can learn, lessons from many different areas. This series mixes fantasy well with reality, making it both informative (learning about the rules and regulations of tennis) but at the same time entertaining with the various skills and attacks observed throughout the series. Another great feature of this series is the use of fillers to the right amount. Unlike other series that tend to have fillers to no end and bores the audience, Prince of Tennis actually uses just enough fillers in between matches for comic relief, contrasting it nicely against the seriousness of the matches. Art: Not really much to say about art. It's pretty hard to keep coming up with new things, so you find certain frames etc. being repeated. However, they are used in repetition well, so you can't usually tell if you doesn't watch it too carefully. Sound: Same as for art. But I found certain areas, the sound didn't match too well with the situation being presented, it was either too serious or not serious enough. Hence the given rating. Character: I would have to give credit to the characters in this series. It would been really difficult trying to come up with so many different characters and be able to make it so that the audience can distinguish between each based on looks, personality, playing styles etc. It was great watching better, stronger, more skilled players being introduced all the time, and it keeps you entertained with the different playing styles. Also, although the characters do not seem to age greatly as the story progresses, however they do develop and become more mature, learning the lessons and achieving their goals. It's nice watching them grow up as the story progresses. Enjoyment: The series is very good. Other than sound, which pulled it down a little, overall you can learn a lot from watching this series. I enjoyed every episode and I find that none of the episodes are a waste of time. They come together nicely to make the story whole. Overall: The series is great and highly recommended.

Prince of Tennis is probably not the first show on your 'to watch' list, right? Well if I were you, I might want to change that. You don't need any bit of love for tennis to enjoy this anime. The strange tactics and tecniques used in this show could never be in the same category as the sport they are used for unless you know someone who can hit a tennis ball hard enough to knock their opponent into the stands. It is a tremendously thrilling experience watching Echizen Ryoma advance in his path to defeat his father, who is considered a legend in the world of tennis. Following the characters as they grow mentally and physically is like standing atop your car as you're driving down the highway. If you can live to tell the tale, it will be something that you'll never forget. The enjoyable characters in Prince of Tennis make this show a difficult one to part with once you've watched a few episodes. The drama and thrill of someone coming back from a 5-0 deficit is priceless. There is not a single episode in the entire series that isn't enjoyable, which is amazing considering the length of the series. Every person that watches this anime finds one character that they like more than the rest and latches onto them, experiencing that characters every moment, good and bad, first hand. Whatever rumors you may have heard about this show should be ignored. If you miss out on what Prince of Tennis has to offer, you may end up regretting it.

okay i usually dont review but i just have to point out that this anime is one of the best anime you'll ever see. it's that kind of anime that you can never forget despite watching a lot of other good animes. here are a few reasons why this anime stands out story 9/10: the story basically revolves around this boy named echizen ryoma and he is the son of a legendary player making him a child prodigy as well. he joins the tennis club in seigaku where he battles players and shows people what he's got and that despite being a first year he can still be a regular. he then meets the regulars of seigaku and they start their journey as a team. everythings fun and light and i find no flaws in the plot because its unpredictable in some parts except for the side romance which i personally dont like wherein sakuno likes ryoma i think its useless for the plot and story. things are pretty exagerrated wherein things happen that cant happen in real life but its fun to see the creativity in it art 8/10: the art is fairly good, its detailed and each character design is different and unique for example the design of ryoma is personally one of my faves bc of how his eyes intensify as the match intensifies. but theres nothing that special about the art sound 10/10: ok at first you are gonna find the ost pretty weird but trust me you wil fall in love with it!! from the moment they start to win and theres this specific music they play. all the op's are catchy and its very fun to watch i dont think ive ever skipped any op character 10/10: OKAY HANDS DOWN I LOVE ALL THE CHARACTERS HERE. from the seigaku regulars to the side characters like ryoma's dad and all their opponents you come to love them all. all the characters are so different and diverse and it just makes you want to love them even more with their different personalities. my personal fave which is fuji i particulary like him because at first he is seen to be always smiling but when something bad happens or if he gets serious his facial expression is priceless the way he opens his eyes is amazing. and i like how they blended in echizen's cold personality yet he still showed how much he cared about the team its just so great. all the characters are lovable . enjoyment 10/10 definitely a 10/10,first of all i loved everything about this show when someone recommended it to me i was hesitant at first because tennis didnt really seem to interest me but trust me you will love this show!!! i even tried reading the manga but they discontinued it. overall, its a fun and light anime you can watch and enjoy. not to mention, i never skipped the fillers since they were really funny as well!! overall 10/10 you have to watch this sports anime!!1 it sperfect if youre searching for a light and fun anime because it will definitely make you feel good !!

OK, this anime is a fun watch to be sure, but if you've come for realistic sports play run far far far far far far far far away. the character are funny, interesting and they have small 1-2 episodes where the characters have fun in between tournaments where they do stuff they are bad at like bowling or pool. overall it's a decent show.

I tend to view sports anime as something skeptical, I mean there is only so much they can do or offer. So what make this anime different from another sport anime? It started the trend of turning the anime into a musical, to be very honest, I started watching prince of tennis live action movie. To say the truth, I don't really fancy the movie, ryouma turns out to be a rather cocky and arrogant boy. I was so wrong when I started this anime, ryouma doesn't turns out to be really cocky in here, perhaps it is the animation, it gives me the feeling that he is rather charismatic or a leader in its own rights. It provides lots of other lead and the little story weaves in and out of the main plot, so it makes it all the more engaging. Other than those comments by the reporters etc which makes me feel like skipping those parts, but other than that. This anime is amazing.

I personally had played tennis before, and I can notice throughout both the manga and anime that each aspect had something to do with the real life tennis, with a pint of exaggeration. As we recognize, Prince of Tennis is about a first year student in a tennis club, who was the son of a famous player. Now inside the tennis club were multiple players, each having certain moves while playing against each other during tennis. In matter of fact, each special move that they make rely to real moves that are done during the real life tennis, but with just a lot more exaggeration in it. For example (spoiler) a player in the team had a very fictional and impossible move called "snake", curving so awkwardly it will always hit the side of the corner on court. Yes, this was actually a real move developed before by some player I don't remember right now. The snake ball's starting action, if you have not realized was very similar to that famous tennis player, resulting into a new exaggerated move to exist in the anime. Most amazing is the author was able to make a ton of moves, and I believe many otakus may have decided to play tennis after watching this :D Art and Sound don't really have any major flaws in my opinion, at least I don't think so :O Character development was actually a flaw in the series, considering the fact there were quite a lot of main characters, and each of them need to resemble different characteristics. Unfortunately, the author emphasized the characteristics on only a couple of the main characters, not all of them. I am curious to see what other character traits the other players on the team have, because all we saw were their physical traits and tennis skills :D I definitely enjoyed this anime quite alot, and I figured Inazuma Eleven probably imitated the Prince of Tennis series, other than that the moves resembling Inazuma have nothing to do with the real life moves we do everyday.

Coz we can put Tenipuri in 'not very-old anime' category, I won't say anything more about the stories that I'm sure you anime-freak guys already knew ^^ But i have to said, this is the only one japan-anime that kept make my wallet's empty hahahah. I'm talking buy the merchandise, man :p Oh yes it is! Witihin this year (2010), it will be 9 years for me to become Tenipuri's big fans >.< Never got tired of it! After the OVAs and more merchandise came out, my happiness came along with the new adv of Tenipuri in manga called SHIN-TENIPURI. New story and new adventure with... the high-school boys in U-17 Camp! Oh boy I really can wait for the vol 3 ^.^ Of course they're also release its fan-book in 5 volume new title + design "SHIN TENIPURI KOUSHIKI CHARACTER GUIDE BOOK PAIR-PURI (PRINCE)" Woow Plus... I got news this year of June and August, they'll release 2 volumes DVD about pairing-princes! The pairs will be Tezuka-Atobe and Fuji-kyoudai (Shuusuke & Yuuta) OMG >.< Means I have to saving more money *but how 'bout my cosplay project?*

As far as tennis anime goes, this is definitely your best bet. Let's talk about the elephant in the room. People are talking about how unrealistic the show is and how it takes them out of it. Now let's add some context. These are pretty much elementary school kids who have moved up to middle school and see these guys as larger than life. Now it is a lot more believable how they are amazed at seemingly mundane shots. In one episode they say "oh my goodness look at his split step". The split step is one of the first things kids in the US learn when they are taught tennis. It makes sense that other kids in the junior ranks are getting more easily beaten by a left handed player because his forehand is going to their backhand, a shot that is traditionally weaker. Add the fact that his father is a former Wimbledon player (perhaps main draw which would mean he was in the top 100 in the world), Ryoma's skills are entirely in the realm of believability. They are amplified by the kids being kids and this goes both ways. The settings are varied as well so the show never gets stale from showing a set number of locations. We even get a street tennis episode. The opponents often have their own unique abilities so Ryoma also needs to adapt his game and learn new mental aspects of the game. This prevents the show from becoming Ryoma spams his forehand to the opponents backhand. Ryoma is the standard silent cool guy protagonist who starts to open up as the series goes on. He has his own group of friends that are similarly cliched. The loud obnoxious type whos bark is worse than his bite. The quite polite guy who is always getting bullied. The third guy that has no identity and is kinda just there for the ride. His love interest is the clumsy airhead with a heart of gold. The supporting cast is where the interesting characters come from.

This anime is an cclasic and if we talk about the genere sports in this medium we (at least me) cant skip to mention this series, now as many others animes of begginins of 90`s early 2000 i remember them with nostalgia and maybe some bias in between but leaving that aside i have seen along these years some of these animes of that era due to nostalgia wanting to relieve some of those moments and i have to say that many of them have aged so freaking well that even today i can enjoy them almost the same as before and gladly to say that prince of tennis wasnt an exception and even after more than 20 years since his emission still keeps being an amaizing series. Now i want just to leave some of my thoughs about the series having watched in my middles 20 in comparation of when i was 8 years old, although i still love the series and was able to finish it from the beggining to end properly it has some things that are worthy to mention to those who havent yet and are planning to or at least interested in it. Most of the characters if not all are kinda what we can say for today standarts something that are in a way stereotype (in a way understandably by their time) being ryouma the protagonist the most clear example but what i consider mark an huge difference is how you handle them and this case along the series the characters overall were well flesh out and charismatics which even nowdays i found out many series sins of recicling the same formula and not even doing it decently. You end up getting attached to most of them as you advance and really far from being outstandingly complex or anything they feel really enjoyble and you care for them, each one being iconic to his way with really define personas. The story takes out as an normal sports anime and gradually as you progress into it slowsly starts adding some more ficticious elemets in the matches and everything that revolves around tennis which to me its really nice and those smalls touches of fantasy really makes this series feel so much entertaining and adds his own flavlor to it. There may have gone a little too much in the last arcs of the series with some techniques and fiction involved but that might depend from each one, i personaly didnt have problem with it but worth mention it. There were what you could call fillers episodes but to me all of them removing just two or three (being some kind of chibi version of the cast) all the rest were really entertaining and really appreciate them by allowing us to see them in their daily life and knowing them more a bit more without being all the focus centered to the tennis itselft. The camaderie and good sports its instilled in the series with even the most bad one characters (i seeing to you akutsu hehe) which i dont know if call it a message but really is present along all the series. The soundatrack has some tracks that are dope as fuc***** being "honki modo" one of the most iconics and really memorable but also as some others that are aimed for more chills situation and works so well with an good melody, the firts op for people like me how grow up with series lke this is so nostalgic and far from being an masterpiece its an catchy song as well. The animation was decent but had his downs though also were some good frames involved in some matches that were really good , in general was acceptable but i think that this aspect was the one in which more faltered with some really bad drawing or in-between from time to time that you could see along the episodes, in a way is comprensible by the studio at charge of the production and also this format of so many episodes being really difficult to impossible to hold an good lv of quaiity. This was the review just for the firts 178 episodes, the series has secuels and continues (which im planning to watch also) awaiting to see what else depares to our protagonist ryouma and the team of seigaiku RESUME If you are wanting to see some sports anime and you still havent watched prince of tennis i reccomend it to you 100% its an really good series that has aged really well, to me is one of the most not only iconics but actual ambassadors of this genere and not for anything i think deserve at least an try by anyone into sports.

I kinda like the story from the beginning, My first thought of it was, this could be interesting, the MC is a son of a legendary tennis player, but we dont know why he quit, really hook me up fast ! the story build up is also awesome. having to play to someone older than him is good means that the MC is really that good at tennis. 10/10 the art is good as well, as expected, i mean im satisfied with that kind of art/animation from this kind of anime rather than being too colorful, will be pain to my eyes. (imo). I put 9/10 because ... actually i dont know. LOL I actually dont listen to the opening and ending much but yea, not that bad. ill say. LOL. characterwise, i really think that the MC (ryoma echizen) is a good mc in this kind of thing, like i said just now, he's father is the legendary tennis player, what you can expect from him right?, i mean he is playing with his son alot of times as well. :D. the seigaku characters is not bad as well. Ill say its well organize, but i put 8/10 on this because some characters just doesn't shine that much despite of having a well balanced team or maybe its just me but the characters that im saying is Oishi and Kaido, i just felt like they are lacking of something but i dont know what is it either, Its actually more on Oishi since kaido is just you know. kaido. LOL. but oishi doesn't really show much of improvements or like new move. but overall, i totally enjoy it. 9/10 the 1/10 is because, i just have abit of "i dont like this character", "they should have improve this character more" or something like that. stupid stuff, i guess. LOL

I-- I--- screw everything, I'm gonna write this review my own way. Prince of Tennis is a series that you could love it forever or you'll gonna call as a trash your entire life. Well, it depends on how your taste is. Whether you like sports anime or not, whether you're willing to accept any flaws in this anime and just enjoy it, whether you just can't accept the unrealistic parts of this anime... there will be lots of answer depending those. As for my case, I am... I just don't know what happened to me but I could accept everything regarding this anime. I could forget those borders of realism and enjoy this series to the fullest. The main plot is just like the other sport series, a student entering a sports club in his/her school (in this anime, it's tennis club). I think nothing's marvelous about the story, but everything is okay. The main theme is tennis-- a sport called tennis, and none other than that. No romance, no action, no fantasy (well..... some of you might think some of the techniques used in this anime is called fantasy, that's ok), it's all revolving around tennis. And as a tennis series, I think everything is good! I got to learn everything about tennis from this anime. And I began to like tennis even though when I first watched this anime, I barely know about that sport. Hmm then... plot-wise, it was awesome as well. The matches are never boring and something interesting always happen, whatever it is, to make us enjoy watching it more. Nothing much to say about the art, but I love how rich the character designs are. They are different from each other and has their own unique appearance. I've watched all of Tenipuri's episodes + side stories, and in all that, the art was pretty stable. I enjoy watching the tennis matches because it was animated neatly. The sound is also ok, lots of different BGMs and cool seiyuus. So we're off to the best aspect in this series... which is character!! We have lots and lots of different characters in this anime that we can describe one by one just by mentioning their traits. The characters are so rich, different, unique in their own way, and no character in this series is boring. I could say, no. Why yes, we have an arrogant, cheeky brat as our main character and tons of cool supporting characters like, a data maniac, narcissist king, short-temperament powerhouse, a double-personality, beautiful guys (we have two), trickster troll (can you guess this one? =))), your typical scary guy, a strict leader, timid girls, a cheerful moodmaker, a mother (??), and many more. Each characters are different from the others, and that's what makes me feels like I'm so connected to this series. Overall enjoyment to me is.... 10 out of 10. Because, this is like, so fun! Aside from stressing matches, we also have some special stories that most of them are gags (srsly) and we also have these Chibi Tenipuri episodes which is to me, really refreshing.

STORY: A pretty original story, if I say so myself. Most sports anime that I've seen focus on a newbie that ends up being great at the sport they play - with little to no training beforehand, or at least no real training. This was a bit different in that the main character started training to play the game when he was a toddler. I can't say much more about the main guy's background without spoiling things. In short, Prince of Tennis about a kid named Echizen Ryoma who enrolls in Seishun Gakuen and joins the tennis club regulars to improve his tennis skills - and become more than just a carbon copy of his father. Seems simple, right? Wrong - if it were that simple, there'd be no need for almost 200 episodes. Prince of Tennis is about more than Echizen Ryoma working to become #1 - but I can't get into that without spoiling it. ART: Pretty amazing, to be honest. I remember other anime from this time period, and their artwork wasn't nearly as good. Sure, there are some repeated frames - but that's almost impossible to avoid in lengthy anime. The character design was done especially well - and with such a large cast, good character design is a must. It's no good to have a large cast if you can't even tell the characters apart, so kudos to them for actually making them distinguishable. SOUND: Some of the themes seemed like badly done karaoke songs, but some of them were actually pretty damn good. Out of the ones performed by actual artists, I'll be honest and say I only liked the ones by Kimeru and the final OP "Dream Believer" - but I liked the few songs that were supposedly performed by the characters. However, that's the best thing I can say about the music. The sound effects throughout the anime were pretty good as well. CHARACTER: With such a large cast of characters, it's hard not to find one that you like. It'll also be hard to find one you can't connect to (I personally can relate to Fuji Shuusuke pretty well). They are extremely well-developed, but unless you stick with the show for the long haul - you might not be able to see it. The creators give each character their own was of playing tennis - including the people that mainly copy other players (and that's saying something). It's difficult to give each character their own personality if you have too many, but somehow the creators of this anime managed to do it. Yes, there are some characters that are similar to each other - but that's unavoidable; however, even those similar characters have subtle differences in their personalities that make them easier to tell apart. ENJOYMENT: The anime is very enjoyable, provided that you can actually sit through 178 episodes. If you don't have the patience for it, then it's not as fun to watch. And when I say patience, I mean sit through the first 10-15 episodes before deciding whether or not you want to watch it. Believe me, when I got to about episode 11 - I wanted to quit watching, but I eventually got through it and once I reached episode 15, or something like that, I couldn't stop watching. Even the filler episodes are enjoyable to watch - and for most anime, you can't say that. OVERALL: A very good anime overall. It starts off a bit slow, but stick through it - and you'll enjoy it quite a lot in the end. I know I did - working on the OVAs right now, actually.

Fuji's mask of smiles, Inui's disgusting most likely inedible drinks, Kaidoh's "fwsshh", Oishi's weird haircut, Kikumaru's cool playing style, Tezuka's "don't keep your guard down" matched with a stoic face, Momoshiro's dunk smashes, Kawamura's "BURNING!" and of course Ryoma's "Mada mada dane" not to mention awesome tennis prodigy, are all reasons why you should definitely not miss out on this anime. Before, I could have sworn I never watch Prince of Tennis, since I wasn't interested in tennis and found it a boring sport. But all of my ulterior assumptions were made correct once I coincidentally saw someone watching the anime in my friend's laptop. I don't know what came to me but even I started jumping up and down and squealing in awe how cool Ryoma really is. Ever since then, my view of tennis has changed. And guess what? I'm taking lessons right now, though it would take me a lot of years to even conduct a twist serve not to mention a drive B. But someday...(smiles)

___________________________________________ Review the 1st Chihuahua Review(short&sweet): A fun, addictive shounen(bunch of guys and action) filled with more unique characters than probably any anime out. ------------------------------>In Depth Review:<------------------------ STORY: You definitely dont have to be a tennis fan or player to enjoi this anime. This could be like any other action anime but, with tennis as the medium. Story is about a young tennis star who joins the infamous tennis club known as Seigaku. Through his time there he and his teammates play through tournaments to become Japan's best team. This may seem boring but with the most hilarious fillers i've seen and experiencing unexpected players(probably over 50 and all different) using unexpected strategies with unexpected endings (main characters actually lose). This anime easily is one of the best sport animes to date. Which is proven with the ova(National Tournament) that continues today!^_^ ART: This was unexpectedly well drawn. The specials each player had looked cool and smooth. Again even with the plethora of characters none of them were that similiar. In the early episodes the characters were a little fugly but soon they become more likeable as animation quality developed. The chibi episodes(best fillers ever)>_< were fun to watch. SOUND: Not to fond of the english dub version but, probably a result of hearin the japanese version which was voiced decently well by the seiyus. OP's , ED's, and backround music fits well but doesnt really enchance the experience so most of the time i skipped the opening and ending. T_T CHARACTER: There was alot of character developement. Just about every character and alot of the supporting characters CHANGED. It may not have been drastic but they changed. They werer all pretty enjoyable in their own way wether it be their lame jokes or their own tennis style that makes them become ur favorite. Other than an unamed female (who never changes)>_< U will probably wont hate anybody since even the" badguys" become somewat likeable after seeing their backrounds. ENJOIMENT: Very fun anime and since matches lasted two or three episodes and a tournament around 13eps i usually marathoned(ALOT of episodes at a time 24 a day) and like i said again u dont have to be a tennis fan to enjoi. Great fillers and fun characters who EVOLVE will keep ur face glued to the t.v. or computer until ur done. ^_^ And if u do become a hardcore fan ova's are still comin out! OVERALL: The soundtracks may sound boring but there is a fastforwad button. Art may start unappealing but with 178 episodes it improves with the times. Story may get repetitive with tournament after tournament but with the fresh characters u cant not be excited for the next episode. Recommendation: If you like tennis(u dont have to) or a superpowered sport with great quality then watch this. If you like this watch Law of Ueki or Hajime no Ippo there also great. If you dissagreed OR agreed fully with me on anything feel free to message me and discss it. Always fun. @_@ WoofWoof

For someone who loves tennis, this was a new perspective on anime for me. You dont see many sport, let alone tennis animes these days. This thankfully drawn-out anime was very eye-opening in many ways. It had a realistic setting, the only ficitonal thing being the outrageous skills these high schoolers have, which you have to think about; would they actually be able to do these moves in real life? It certainly sets your mind rolling. There are constant battles, tournaments, and chances to improve. A new move is displayed every other episode it seems. Not only this, but this series has a major comedic appeal. Every so often there are "break" episodes where its pure comedy but uses the storyline to create that comedy. It is the funniest series I have ever seen, and I have seen over 40. For the romantic type? It has a little romance here and there that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's not fully accepted by one of the partners, but left up in the air. This fact does not dampen anything on this series like it usually would for me. That is how great this series is!! So if you love tennis or want to love tennis, watch this series and it will happen in the process!

Basically, I love Prince of Tennis. I'm on my 2nd time watching it, and I usually never re-watch things. That for one says it's amazing. But once again I find myself HATING female characters. The coach's grand daughter, is the most annoying character I've seen for some time. If she wasn't on the show, I would have given PoT a 10. Echizen and Kikumaru are probably my favorite characters. They don't really seem like Junior High students but now a days in Anime/manga Junior high kids seem more like H.S. so who knows. I love how Tezuka always gets seen for a Coach or Teacher lol It's a good show thats exciting and funny and makes your heart thump when something happens :) Watch it!

Well.. After i've finished this anime I suddenly realized it was 178 episodes!!!!! the secomd longest anime i've ever seen (after DBZ) and I didnt even noticed it was so long.. And still after it was done.. I wanted More.. The anime is about Echizen Ryoma, a tennis prodigy who come back to Japan after a succesfull run of winning tournaments in the US.. But Ryoma main purpose in life is to surpess his father, Nanjiro, a tennis legend.. He enters a junior high school and there he meets the tennis club members, each ones has his own style and ambition.. and that's what I really love in this show, it's introduce you to different characters, each one has his own personality and style but of course the main focus is on Ryoma and his freinds.. There isnt much of character's development but the characters does seems to grow up thrugh the anime espically Ryoma.. In my opinion he is one of the best characters in anime history.. Mainly because he is winner, he seems confident in everything he does and always keeps his cool.. I know it makes him look kinda like a robot but slowly we see a different Ryoma as he sbecome loyal to his club and his friends.. The ending of the anime is great and show how he changed wonderfully from and anti social kid to one who really cares dro his friends.. Ironically I dont think the tennis fans out there would like it.. Well basically because the tennis itself is shown in a very ridiculous way.. The main foucus of this show isnt about the tennis but more about the differnt people and style that love and play this sport.. The actual tennis is unrealistic with absurd moves that would probably upset the tennis fans.. But eventually you can come to like the tennis even if its unreal and enjoy the insane matches they have.. After all it'sm just an anime.. I'm love tennis and I'd really enjoy this one so I'll recommand it to everyone

Prince of Tennis is about how Echizen Ryoma gets stronger every time he beat another player in order to beat that person (watch it and you know) and how people around him gets stronger as well. Although there are so many episodes in Prince of Tennis i never get bored of it because i like sports anime. There are different techniques on tennis that doesn't seem real if it is in real life, that is what i like about it.

I've never liked Tennis nor did I even want to watch this anime when my friend asked me to watch it, but I did just to get him to shut up. I figured I'd watch the first couple of Episodes and tell him I gave it a shot... But I couldn't stop watching it. I kept wanting to see what happened next. I never thought I'd be into an anime about Tennis but I found my nose nearly stuck to my monitor AND after watching a few episodes it made me actually want to try it (Which I won't be doing anymore, I totally suck). It's *Hilarious* . It will make you laugh, it will make you mad and it may even make you cry and surprisingly enough, the tennis matches are really interesting, you really never know who is going to win. Well, most of the time. I'm so bummed it's over. The description tells you what it's about, I'm just letting you know what I thought. I loved it. It's definitely one of my favorites. I think if you like anime's with alot of comedy, this is definitely a good pick. It is one of my All time favorites. Why? Because even though I suck at it, looking at the picture and I still kinda wanna go play.
