Hello, my fellow anime enthusiasts. Today, we're taking a look at the final installment of the Durarara!!x2 series, Ketsu. And let me tell you, it does not disappoint. Picking up where the previous season left off, Ketsu continues the story of the strange and mysterious happenings in the city of Ikebukuro. With its signature blend of supernatural elements and gripping character drama, this anime is a fitting conclusion to the Durarara!! saga. But what sets Ketsu apart from its predecessors is its heightened sense of urgency and tension. The stakes are higher, the threats are more immediate, and the characters are pushed to their limits in a desperate struggle to save their city and each other. Of course, the series still maintains its trademark quirkiness and dark humor, which serves as a welcome respite from the intensity of the main plot. And as always, the animation and music are top-notch, making for a truly immersive viewing experience. Overall, I would give Durarara!!x2 Ketsu a solid 9/10. It's a thrilling and satisfying conclusion to an already impressive anime series, and a must-watch for fans of the genre. So buckle up, strap in, and get ready for a wild ride through the streets of Ikebukuro.

Now that I have reached the last season of DRRR I have to say 'wow, that's anticlimactic'. The first season caught my attention, I enjoyed it a lot, and naturally I wanted to continue with the series. The issue here is that the following seasons didn't really hold up to the first one. I gave DRRR the benefit of the doubt, expecting it to turn a leaf and start being super engaging and awesome again. But that didn't happen. Even now I somehow have hope that the series will turn around, I think I'm in denial. I am not satisfied at all with the last season, everything leading to the last episodes climbed slowly, ever so slowly, promising something outstanding, but I was left disappointed. I was not happy with Celty's resolution, and I was not happy with how things were left with Izaya and Shizuo, and I was definitely not happy with Mikado, although I enjoyed him losing it during the series. But even that, in the end it was disappointing. I know the story is not over yet, there still are things happening in the manga and that's why I have this hope that the series can turn around, but at the same time I can't ignore what happened up until now. I feel like no one made any real progress, it's like they were playing a game. A dangerous one, but still a game after which everyone goes back home and carry on. There is one thing that I did like constantly, though, and that is the chaos that is the main characters. There are so many and there are so many plot lines, it was kind of refreshing. I only would have wanted everything to lead somewhere, to actually put the characters in a different position or mindset than they were in at the start.
