To get this film, it helps to have seen and understood Stanely Kubrick's/Arthur C. Clarke's "2001 A Space Odyssey" 2001 is about the evolution of mankind, and does this in two sages. The first is from apes to men through tools, and the second is from men to glowing star embryo, through growing beyond tools (because, in space, humans are bound to their tools, and Dave only evolves because he manages to grow beyond humanity's best one, HAL). The film gets this point across through hours of no dialogue, symbolic images, and sweeping soundtracks. 2005 is an abbreviated, comedic stab at the Kubrick film, and how hard it is to penetrate the symbolic haze of the movie. We see the evolution of man (jokingly), tool dependence (toilet), and ultimately the higher, albiet indecipherable future life form. It made me laugh, and is good to share with Kubrick fans who "get it," but I fear that its meaning is lost on the general audience.

*Disclaimer* Just personal scratch. Advised, possible spoilers. Opinion & Informal Art: 6/10 Actually colored properly. Detailed enough. Animation: 6/10 Fluid. Wasn't choppy and was a decent display of low-budget, super-short animation and technique. Plot: 4/10 None. Random happenings and weird sounds in the span of a public restroom space. Development: 4/10 None, stupid. Conclusion: 4/10 I don't even understand. Abrupt? Weird? Wait, what? Music: 4/10 None. Sound design and effects were average. There was use of unconventional sound sequences, but that didn't do anything to add any flair or 3-dimensionality. Overall: 4/10 Pointless. A display of animation and technique pretty much.

Rate a 3 English Dubbed Story Story is up for interpretation. One can see from a simple out look such as wacky crazy random events. Or one could see from a symbolic perspective. Such as who knows what goes on at night and behind closed doors. I could be wrong but i think was created because of the start of memes. For the video is short and interestingly weird. As for the ending i wasn't a fan for i felt it could have been improved by proving appropriate content to why we the audience saw what we saw. Art -color -don't be fooled by the cover art for that is only best moment in the show. Sound Not much sound. Mainly a random countdown. As to what i will let you tell me. Enjoyment: Are you a fan of messes? Try cleaning this up.

So this movie really is a minute long, well, one minute and 27 seconds if you count the credits. A drunk salaryman walks into the toilet, uses it, stumbles out. The next person to walk in goes through all stages of evolution from dino to ape to human before walking out WITHOUT using the toilet. Feels like a step back somehow. It's random, it's crazy, it's a bit too artsy. Animation is fluid though the sound was annoying. it was funny in a "lol random" way but so bizarre that the weird factor overtook the comedic aspect, by a mile and a half!
