Petting a Dog
Petting a Dog

Petting a dog truly thought me what it meant to be alive. Before petting a dog, there were dark times. Moments where we didn't know if we would make it. But all of this changed once this piece of pure art blessed our eyes. It redefined the entirety of fiction as a whole. All of this was accomplished in a mere 16 seconds of pure PEAK. Words alone won't do Petting a Dog justice. Watching this was like trying to fight daytime Empress of light with infernum, but without the infernum difficulty selected. I'll forever believe in the petting a dog who believes in me. 10/10 would recommend

Best anime ive ever watched ong no cap bro. It genuinely changed my life, ive never watched an anime like this, EVER. Petting a dog isnt just about petting a dog, its about life, memories, petting dogs too ofc, but also melancholy and other random things that I cannot think of right now as im trying to reach the word limit to publish this review. The reason why this anime changed my life is because of its unique artstyle and tone, no one has ever though "hmm lets make a 16 second anime about a guy petting his dog" before, and that genuinely amazed me. I would recommend it to everyone, even tho their mothers and grandmothers.

I'M THANKFUL MYANIMELIST DECIDED TO ADD THIS 16-SECOND VIDEO TO THEIR CATALOG. Petting a dog animation is unexpectedly life-changing. This classic deserves to be retold to future generations. It's life-changing and family-friendly and promotes harmony between humanity and animals. I love the red art style of a dog. It symbolizes how much blood they shed just to connect with the race of humanity. Petting a dog is not just a kind gesture; it demonstrates how peace and coexistence can end futile wars and achieve paradise on earth. The plot twist at the end is shocking; it came out of nowhere. I didn't know he would pet a dog that way. I can't help but shed a tear at their final reunion. I wish I knew how to love a dog in a way that he does. I hope more people will recognize this masterpiece. It's revolutionary and groundbreaking. This is a 16-second experience I would never exchange for anything. It doesn't matter if you're an animal lover or not. This anime will surely touch your heart, your toes, your knees, your shoulder, and your head.

One thing I really appreciate about it is you know what to expect before ever watching this show. Everything you would want to know you will know by the tittle alone. I find it hard to be harsh on older anime because they are products of their time and I enjoyed this. It’s also one of my most rewatched shows. I hope people that are interested in this watch it as I do think it’s interesting to see the art style of the time and it’s a unique thing. This is a realistic story and can help people learn how to pet a dog so it’s also unique in that sense.

Brilliant. Thematically thrilling, scenically exciting, palpably empassioned. Only the heartless and demon-possessed could find this anime anything less than a masterpiece. The interaction between the man and his dog leaves nothing to be desired. Life itself can be experienced viscerally in the frames of this animation. It's relatable in a distant way, and emotional in a stoic way. Heaven and earth exist in a dichotomy held together with threads made from the fur dislodged by the petting of one particular dog. If the reaper came for me on this sunny afternoon and told me that my time had come, I would ask for nothing more than 16 additional seconds to watch "Petting a dog" by Masaki Okuda one more time before my breath fails me and the lights finally dim. 10/10

Under watched, underrated and under pet. 10/10 I've been inspired to pet my dog so hard it burps. I would recommend watching this with your dog. If you don't have a dog, good, dogs deserve better. The art work is amazing, Petting a dog is more than just an anime. It's an anime you can be proud to say you've watched and not be judged for being a no life loser weeb who spends far too much time on not just watching anime, but going as far as to track it and rate it on a website. I don't know how many more words I need to write to publish this very serious review, sometimes fewer words, says more.
