Ufotable outdid themselves with this movie. This film easily has the best animation in the entire Fate franchise. Perhaps even Fate's best animated fight, and most epic scenes. If you want an amazing soundtrack, this movie has it. This is the conclusion of this trilogy, and I haven't seen a more epic conclusion in a long time. As a fan of the Fate franchise, I loved these characters from the start, and seeing their stories come to an end here left me satisfied. I love this movie, and I love Fate. Criticisms: The only thing I would like from this movie is that it's ending felt fast paced. There was a lot to process in the last 2 minutes of this movie and most of it may go over most people's heads. Type-Moon is well known for having a connected universe, and there are scenes in this film that may seem confusing without proper context.

* NO SPOILERS * "Wow", thats all I can say after seeing this today, I was lucky enough to see the first airing in Australia in cinemas. And I dont regret a single thing, the true beauty of this movie to finish off the Heavens Feel Trilogy really was amazing and I hope you can understand why... Story - 8 The story to me was very good and enjoyable, although this movie did contain some plot issues and times where I thought it could of improved but overall it really had great character development and content to make you sit at the edge of your seat with anticipation and leaving you eager to see what happens next. This movie really finished on some great story development of not only the characters but the world as a whole, its immersive fantasy and characters really left me feeling dazzled by how well done this movie was. Art - 10 Theres not even much to say considering ufotable animated it, the fights were absolutely beautiful and mesmerizing for the eyes, and the world was just beautiful, it almost seemed like every shot/camera angle in that movie could of been a movie poster because of how amazing everything looked due to the amazing contrast of colour and composition. The fight scenes are something I will never forget for my life, there were about 2 fights in particular that were my favorite although I wont name them in spare of spoilers, all I can tell you is, is that the fights are stunning and live to they hype. Sound - 9 Once again considering the rest of Fate, I wasn't surprised to hear so many amazing soundtracks which fitted every scene perfectly and made the fights along with the visuals 10x better than what it already was. The actual sound and voice acting was great, the tone and speech was very well done and made me feel very immersed whilst watching and left me re-thinking the scenes after I had seen the film. But the reason I didn't give this a 10 was due to some minor scenes which I think could of been illustrated better with a different pace of sound or music to fit it. Character- 9 This movie, or even this movie trilogy was all about the development of the characters and Sakura in particularly, and to me the movie did a damn good job at it, the amazing sentimental moments of people understanding or breaking down was very well portrayed and was executed very well, even at one point I shed a tear due to the moment between characters. But you are probably wondering why not a 10?, although its very close to a 10 I feel like they tossed a couple things aside or swept certain things away too fast in a way which sometimes made it feel a bit unnatural, otherwise it was great/ Enjoyment - 9 I thoroughly enjoyed this movie a lot, it had been a while since I had been this excited to see an anime and it sure didn't disappoint or left me feeling like I wasted $20 on seeing it because of the reasons I listed above. Overall - 10 Overall this movie conveys and portrays the meaning and value of the Fate series strongly and I highly recommend when you get the chance to watch this film and really take in the finale of Heavens Feel wherever you are around the world or start watching it if you haven't already done so.

SPOILER FREE REVIEW STORY (8/10) I gave it an 8 because personally the story was not especially unique or something unexpected from the fate series. The story was decent but also predictable. This isn't something that I dislike or admire but just something that many other anime films have fallen under. They stay within that predictable structure and not really trying to explore. HOWEVER, the predictability of this final part suited the tone and flow which actually complimented it. ART (8.5/10) Yes I gave it a 9 in the other section because I'm stuck between 8 and 9. 8 is mainly because the character designs didn't stand out much when you realise that this is a movie not just a series which means that there is a bigger budget. 9 only because of the fight scenes. Especially the one between ***** and *****. (don't count the stars if u want to get spoiled). SOUND (10/10) The reason why the sound has a 10 is because the music that is played during every scene complimented the scene. It wasn't there just to be like oh make the scene better, it was there to have that effect of THIS IS THE SCENE. I could feel each of the scenes more clearly with the amazing sound. CHARACTER (8/10) Personally, character wasn't exactly there during the film. But for some of them, I could see some change in their character. Especially during one important scene. ENJOYMENT (8/10) I actually enjoyed the film more than I expected myself to. Personally, I'm not a big fate fan but I enjoyed most of the film. OVERALL (8.5/10) This is just an honest review from me so don't take it too hard or bash me if I don't give it a 10 like everyone else HAHA

DON'T MISUNDERSTAND ME THIS FILM IS GREAT AND I LOVE HOW IT EXPANDS ON THE VISUAL NOVEL IN THE TINIEST DETAILS --- BUT! <READ MORE> The entire trilogy is just WAY WAY lacking of content. The entire point of the heaven's feel route is for us to finally stop idealizing the concept of <Hero of Justice> Emiya Shirou was cursed to bear. That he actually deserves to live amongst humans despite being the only one who lived the Great Fire = and to move on from his survivor's guilt. The visual novel is the perfect way to convey this aspect of the plot because in that medium you get to spend a huge chunk of your time doing all of the mundane things with Sakura and Illya - the two anchors of normal life Emiya Shirou has (alongside Fuji-nee of course). However, because of time constraints movie have - the trilogy can only fit in as much plot-relevant details as they could so it sacrificed this aspect of the visual novel. It is an understandable and inevitable decision because it is a consequence of medium difference therefore storytelling is different. But it is important for the appreciation of Emiya Shirou as a character. The first film ended with an anxious note of whether Emiya should give up on becoming one and the visual novel actually tackled this aspect of his character far better than the films ever did - it all felt rushed and tucked away to "the development happened behind the scenes". To be fair. the anime still managed to convey well the relationship of Sakura and Shirou which is important to the plot and supplemented their past really well, but it was done so at the expense of Shirou and Illya bonding. IMHO, the entire point of the route was it was Illya and Sakura's route combined - and for Illya, not because she's the love interest, but because she was the only relative Shirou has left. Illyasviel is a major part of what makes Heaven's Feel work as a narrative masterpiece in the visual novel and I just dislike how she didn't feel as important in here as she did in the novel. That's my complaint. IF you want me to read the review SOLELY from an anime-only perspective with my filtered thoughts start here !!! This trilogy managed to convey one of the most dramatically-intriguing part of Fate Stay Night. It did the visual novel justice and the music and animation expanded a lot on the underlying tone the visual novel had and lacked. The masterfully blended music with its striking visuals managed to create a spectacle to the audience without undermining the story as a whole. The only flaw this trilogy has is you have to have knowledge of the previous routes through watching the previous adaptations of Fate Stay Night and if you're only seeing this it's hard to appreciate some aspects of the characters here. The visual novel has always been made to complement the story through its progressive routes which are made to view in order (Fate to UBW to HF). If you're going to watch the trilogy without at least watching UBW, you will not appreciate this film and I think that's the reason it doesn't stand as a good stand alone anime trilogy in my opinion. To compare it to another well-known trilogy - you don't need to watch Bakemonogatari to appreciate Kizumonogatari. I think that sense of independence is what distinguishes a trilogy film from great to masterpiece and if that wasn't here this trilogy films would've been a masterpiece. Overall, these films still hold weight and will remain as one of the most visually-entertaining piece of media from our generation.

This opinion will be based on the trilogy after watching the three today. As a Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night: UBW fan, I can say these three movies are bad. Period. I was very excited to watch all of these and when I started I was not only taken aback by the pacing of the narrative but also by the character's lack of development whatsoever. As a trilogy, it's just not good story-wise, character wise. In general terms I think I'd say these are shallow films. Pretty, very much so, but only pretty. There's no depth. There's no development. There's no clear ending. Story-arcs are incomplete or rushed. Characters' personalities are abhorrent. I don't really mind falling into clichés, but Sakura was just a disappointment. Second film being basically soft-p0rn or straight up p0rn... yea I could not make sense of that. I won't argue about Sakura and Shiro being canon (cuz I guess it has some truth to it) but in my eyes there was never an inch of romantic love between the two, they only resembled sibilings to me. So the whole romance story line just felt forced and pushed. There's little context as to when all of this is happening and it's frustrating as audience because you are watching very much confused all the time what's happening onscreen. One minute they're doing daily life and the next minute they're fighting between Servants-Masters. In any of the three movies there's a proper explanation as to what's going to happen next. It seems like Ufotable only went for pretty fights and nice animations/soundtrack, but nowadays that shouldn't be the aim to be honest. Yes, it has impecable animations and fight scenes. It has impecable color grading scenery and a very good soundtrack. If they didn't have any of these, they wouldn't have probably released them at all. Do I recommend you to watch these? Absolutely not. Go for the tv-anime, original ones. Despite lacking character-arc narrative explanation (which I think it's a general issue with the Fate Series), at least storyline is a lot better put together and there aren't as many holes. They also don't jump into stupid free fan service.

THIS MOVIE CONTAINS MY PERSONAL PICK FOR THE GREATEST FIGHT IN ANIME HISTORY. Watching this in theaters had me floating out of my seat. The Heavens Feel trilogy is easily the best anime movie trilogy and should be looked at as art. I'm not completely sure if this is the end of the main Fate timeline but it's definitely worthy of the title. This movie has the most jaw dropping animation I have ever seen and along with the superb soundtrack it would be impossible for me to not recommend it. The fights will have your eyes locked into the movie. Don't miss out on this.

I watched this with a friend who was new to fate. I hated the last two movies, as well as both stay night series, and I knew I was gonna hate this one too, but I was curious how she would take to it. By the end she was so bored and miserable that she just lay on the floor and cried. Luckily I've also watched the fate grand order movies and this wasn't that bad in comparison. The production is nice. Background artists really put the work in. If I could make a story suggestion: the movie would overall have been much more enjoyable if in the opening scene all the characters had suddenly burst into flames and died.

I…don’t entirely understand why or how a lot of things happened in this movie. I thought I was an idiot for asking “Wait…what just happened?” as the credits rolled. But after thinking about it, I think the movie’s more at fault than I initially believed. Let’s start with Sakura. She continues to be the most complicating factor of these movies. She has a confrontation with Rin that’s impactful because that dialogue reminds you of all of the trauma she went through that would lead her to this point. I use “reminds” because I don’t think the movies properly highlight those crippling 11 years of Sakura’s life. Obviously you already know her life was messed up even before booting up Heaven's Feel. But for it to apparently be a driving plot device, I think it should’ve had a lot of time devoted to it. Unlimited Blade Works did a better job at showing it and she isn’t even relevant in that timeline! It really just felt like she was simply being possessed by the shadow, which didn’t make for an interesting antagonist (especially when considering the alternative of having Sakura’s insanity be entirely her own). Maybe it was my expectations, but Saber Alter didn’t feel realized at all. I was hoping in this movie we’d get some character out of her, but she continued to be nothing more than Sakura's threatening bodyguard. I think it’s a big missed opportunity to not explore how a noble character like Saber acts when corrupted. Rider also didn’t entirely meet my expectations, but she got close. I’m glad she had more of a presence and role in this final movie. The last fight she was in made her sick as hell on top of that. But I think she didn’t have a ton of screentime despite having such a big connection to Sakura (compare with Saber and Archer in Unlimited Blade Works). Plus, exploring her thoughts as Sakura got corrupted more would’ve been nice. In the previous movie I praised Shirou for doing things without a Servant. It was more about him using brains over brawn most of the time. But this time Shirou’s all about brawn, and I don’t think I was a fan. I don’t want to spoil too much, but he certainly feels weirdly overpowered in this one. He was weirdly overpowered come the end of Unlimited Blade Works too, but I think that one felt more earned thanks to the overall plot of the second half. There are a lot of other moments that either felt inconsistent or felt like they came out of nowhere. However, I don’t want to specifically list them for spoiler reasons. I’d be surprised if I was alone with wondering how some stuff happened (even after reading a synopsis once this review was written). To be fair, I can’t help but feel that all of these issues I have with the movie don't exist in the visual novel thanks to it having more time to flesh things out. Unfortunately I haven’t read the visual novel, but I cannot shake the idea that watching only the movies doesn’t do this plotline justice. Granted, as this trilogy went on, I was thinking about just how crazy it was getting. I never expected an “alt path” to diverge so much from the original. It’s impressive that it makes its own story after the first ~20 minutes of Movie 1. I definitely respect that capacity for creativity. However, I think Unlimited Blade Works is the better story. The characters and events there felt more whole than Heaven’s Feel while also not having Sakura’s confusing motives muddying everything up. I would go so far as to say that, in retrospect, I don’t think I should’ve watched Heaven’s Feel. At the same time, I feel like I’m writing a great visual novel story off here, so maybe one day I’ll try that.

**SPOILERS (FOR BOTH THE MOVIE AND THE VISUAL NOVEL)** This is a honest review by someone who's read the visual novel, so I won't pretend that I have an unbiased view of this film. However, I still believe this movie has some genuine issues. In a sentence, this movie is essentially an adaptation for those who have read the visual novel. It's definitely an enjoyable film...just there are a lot of unanswered things and the characters do not have the weight they should. Of course, you can't expect a film to adapt a visual novel down to the last detail. But the Unlimited Blade Works anime succeeded where this movie fails. And that is simply because this movie is rushed. The sound and the visuals need no review, anyone who knows ufotable should expect 10/10 in both categories. And I'll give the credit that they did a much better job portraying the action scenes than the visual novel could ever hope to accomplish. My main problems lie with the story and the characters. The Heaven's Feel trilogy itself tried to adapt the longest route in the visual novel in the shortest time frame of just three movies. And this movie tried to adapt the most lore and plot points in the whole visual novel in one movie. I would even go so far to say that almost half the plot points in the Heaven's feel route in the visual novel have been crammed in here. Avenger's backstory, the corruption of the Grail, the true functioning of the Third Magic, all of this are glossed over in one sentence. The Second Magic is completely omitted, which really brought down the significance of the Jeweled Sword of Zeldretch. They didn't explain how much effort and preparation was actually needed for Shirou to project such a weapon. The biggest problem though is the ending. Unless you've read the visual novel, there is no way you'll understand what happens with Shirou's soul except some vague guesses. The fact that it was an incomplete Third Magic, Illya's connection to it, how it affects Shirou's new body, all omitted. The characters bore the worst of it though. The only characters who were done justice were Rin and Kotomine. Illya's significance in the last scene is really underplayed. The previous movies skipped some of her dialogue with Shirou, which gives the audience less of an attachment to her. It's not even properly explained what she's trying to do, which really lowers the significance of her actions. If I'd gone into this movie blind, my thoughts would be "She destroyed the grail and somehow saved Shirou in the process but sacrificed herself." The weight of her choice is really gone. Shirou himself was really really underplayed. They never revealed how Shirou's brain was literally getting destroyed by swords the more projection he used, how he could slowly feel his mind losing itself and losing more and more of his memories. The fact that Archer's mindset was taking over Shirou through the arm, how the current Shirou is incompatible with Archer's Reality Marble, the tragic sacrifice Shirou was making just by trying to save Sakura, all these things were just barely there instead of fleshed out like they should have been. Sakura had the worst characterization. Dark Sakura is a very interesting character. The visual novel made it clear that the mental and physical pain she was going through was unbearable, and the act of taking in the souls of so many heroic spirits was causing her mind to break. However, in this movie, she was just your standard obsessive yandere girl, just with magic powers and who would occasionally clutch her stomach in pain. I'm a huge Sakura fan myself. She's my favorite heroine in the fate series. Yet in this movie, even I found her whiny and annoying half of the times. The fight between her and Rin was grossly underplayed because we knew that Rin as a mage is stronger, when in the visual novel it was stated that Sakura has innate talent at the same level of Rin, and would've been a mage prodigy had she been a Tohsaka. The movie was enjoyable, I'll give it that. But if anyone's reading this, I would strongly recommend, hell almost beg, them to read the visual novel. Like I said at the start, this movie is essentially an adaptation for the visual novel readers, because otherwise there are too many things left unanswered or half done. Any question you could possibly have about the plot or characters of this movie or series, the visual novel will answer those and much more.

This is a Non-Spoiler Review as a heads up. 10/10 - By far the greatest Fate adaptation I've ever seen and the way they adapted the VN was just pure perfection. The fight scenes were exhilarating, jaw-dropping visuals, and the best part was the soundtrack from Yuki Kajiura that makes it even 10 times better that gives you the chills and enjoyment that you've felt from the Saber Alter vs Berserker of the previous movie (II. Lost Butterfly). All in all, the movie was the greatest ending for the Heaven's Feel route and the ending of it with a little bit of a cameo from one of the characters from Kara no Kyoukai (Garden of Sinners) is just good. Definitely what makes Fate my no. 1 series of all time.

Disclaimer: I will try my best to review this movie in the fairest way possible, but keep in mind that this review is coming from a Fate fan so if you want to you can take it with a grain of salt. Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel III: Spring Song, is a movie that i have been waiting for over a year and I was finally able to watch it, and all i can say is that this surpassed my expectations. So, i am currently writing this review after quite some time after watching the movie, and that is because I wanted to read the Visual Novel, i had already read the whole Fate route and most of UBW so i decided to finish it before writing this review and tbh i think that the anime is better than the visual novel, don't get me wrong both are amazing but i enjoyed ufotable's adaptations much more but anyway i wont get into that right now since this is my review for HF3. This review is completely spoiler free, so you can read it without being scared of spoilers, but there is spoilers for HF2, so if you have not watched that movie, please do, its also an amazing movie. Story(10/10): The story of HF3 starts exactly after HF2's devastating ending, we see how our protagonist Emiya Shirou is suffering since the beginning, it really does a perfect job of setting the tone for this movie and i feel that the direction team in this movie knew what they were doing because throughout the whole 2 hours i never felt that any time was wasted, they give us all the information we need to perfectly understand this story and give it the most satisfying ending possible for Fate/Stay Night, some VN readers may complain about how they decided to adapt certain scenes in the last 10 minutes of the movie but i personally think that these changes were something we needed and ends up making it much more emotional. Now, i can understand how some people may not like the pacing in the ending but i think it was done perfectly because they only put what was vital and there was really is no need to extend the ending any more since you are able to see what happens after the end of the Holy Grail War, we see how certain characters grew and i found it beautiful on how they decided to end the movie, i was feeling emotional throughout the whole two hours in this movie. The story is everything that a Fate fan can hope for and it actually gives it a nice closure that does not leave you craving for more, instead it makes you remember everything that happened in this trilogy and how it finally came to its end, I don't want to spoil anything so i will just say, the ending was really not predictable but it was perfect. Art(10/10): Its already known that ufotable is one of the best anime studios, from their work in Demon Slayer and the Fate franchise, they always keep improving upon themselves, i used to think that ufotable's animation cant get better after watching Demon Slayer episode 19 but their work in HF3 makes episode 19 look like child's play. It does not matter if you are a Fate fan or not, because you are still gonna find the animation to be beautiful. It goes without a doubt that the fight between Saber Alter and Rider is easily one of the best animated scenes in anime, I personally consider it to be the best animated fight of all anime and if it would be my favorite fight of all time but interestingly enough i found one other fight to be better in this movie, which is currently my favorite fight of all time although it doesn't beet Saber alter vs Rider in animation. (I don't wanna mention which fight it is because i am trying to avoid spoilers) I just talked about the animation in fights but in general every scene in this movie is animated perfectly an i would say that its the best animation in anime, but i cant really say that since i still haven't watched Demon Slayer Mugen Train. Sound(10/10): Ok i just want to address something very quick because there are some people who just wont shut up because they did not play one song in specific, and of course i am addressing this to the people who are complaining that they did not play Hikari to Yami (final fight ost in the VN), yes they did change it so what? If they would have played it in the last fight it wouldn't have fit in just because the feeling that the VN and the movie give you is completely different, so please stop complaining about ufotable not playing that song, the song that they decided to play instead of Hikari to Yami also slaps. So, anyway this movie's soundtrack is composed by Yuki Kajiura which if you don't know her, she is the one in charge of the OST for Madoka Magica and Demon Slayer so basically she is an amazing composer that always makes bangers. Since the beginning of the movie we know that the OST will be amazing because they couldn't have chosen a better song to start of with, i would also like to mention some that were amazing like Rider vs Saber alter theme, the final fight theme and obviously the best track in the OST which is EMIYA, now i will just start praising the EMIYA theme because i genuinely think that it is the best version of the song and trust me, there is a lot of versions of EMIYA and i mean a lot. So to just kind of explain how the song was just combine EMIYA from Unlimited Blade Works(2015) and combine it with EMIYA #LEGACY, which are both 2 of the best versions and combining them just turns it into a complete beauty that will make you feel hype af, i remember when the theme started playing everyone in the theatres were losing their mind and i was no exception, i was watching the movie with a friend and we were both surprised in how good this version turned out, sadly they only play it once for less than 2 minutes but it still was amazing and the scene that included this song was easily the best part of the whole movie. Character(9.5/10) You may ask yourself, why did you give the characters a 9.5, and don't worry i have the answer and i hope we can agree with this. I gave it a 9.5 because of a single character and i am obviously talking about Zouken, if i had to pin point one thing i did not like about the HF trilogy, it would easily be Zouken and its such a shame because every single character and i literaly mean everyone in this movie was perfect and it sucks that Zouken was the only bad thing, everything from his goal, personality and design, was horrible and i hate to say it but the only scenes that i felt the movie was wasting time was whenever Zouken appeared, but well whatever every other character is amazing so it does not affect the score that much. Tl;Dr: Since the next section is going to be really long i will just write the most important parts here so you don't waste your time. So basically the characters in this movie were amazing, it was really interesting to see really different sides of some characters which we never really saw much about in previous movies, the one that surprised me the most was Kirei Kotomine, i knew he was going to do something big in this movie but it surprised me how important he was and how early they started to develop them, he is easily one of the most important character in the movie, second to Shirou and Sakura obviously, but interestingly enough even characters like Illya, Tohsaka, Rider, and Saber alter, all get quite a bit of screen time which is great because some of them really never had much screen time, especially Rider. So basically that's it for the tl;dr, if you want more read the larger character analysis which is this next section. Character analysis(pretty damn long fyi): I want to put a lot of focus for the main characters in this movie, cuz they were all just *chefs kiss* amazing. So lets begin! -Shirou Emiya-: Oh Shirou, a character loved by many and also hated by many, now i want you to know that i loved Shirou ever since i first saw Fate/UBW(2015), because i always loved how they made him a ¨hero of justice¨ character who actually does have an interesting ideology and how he really isn't just like ¨i wanna be a hero¨ and that's it, i will a…

A review for the whole Heaven's Feel trilogy adaptation. SPOILERS WOULD BE INCLUDED. Note: I will try my best not to turn this into a rant. As I watch the trilogy a while ago, it was very full of complete opposite feelings. The animation is peak movie quality production, it's so amazing. I like the artstyle as it fits to Takeuchi's current artstyle(his old art style still better in some aspects tho). And the visuals are very amazing. The only thing to nitpick on this part is that some parts of Dark Berserker gives me PTSD to Berserk CGI. The voice acting were top notch as well it has the most emotion possible to every character. But that's just it. Everything else were infuriating to me. Let's start with the soundtracks. Honestly, the best one in the trilogy is that very short "EMIYA" part in "Why I fight" Literally the others on the trilogy are either the ones from the highlight fight scenes which sounded the same one way or another, and a remix Kaijura have always used since Kara no Kyoukai. It's very tiring of hearing the same old tune again and again. There are very good OSTs from the VN that could've been used in the movie. All the Evils in the World, Church on the Hill, Die Lorelei, A piano version of Disillusion, and even Light and Darkness especially. The next and the BIGGEST PROBLEM of Heaven's Feel trilogy is adaptation. It's so bad even Deen Stay Night 2006 is better in terms of adaptation. Seriously. Heaven's Feel is the longest route in the VN. Why adapt it into the shortest one in the anime compared to the shorter routes that got 25 eps? Because of this, a lot of scenes felt weird, character arcs, ESPECIALLY ILLYA in the 2nd movie was skimmed and didn't even take 10 seconds in it, fight scenes like Nine Lives Blade Works wasn't done justice by letting play EMIYA till Berserker got defeated or at least a short monologue throughout the 3-second battle, the history of the Grail War, like did y'all even realized it that one guy was Zouken when he was hot? Did y'all even know who Zelretch is? And Illya's sacrifice that also would've been emotional had they used Die Lorelei in the scene, and last but very much not the least is the climax of not just Heaven's Feel but the WHOLE Fate/Stay Night itself: Shirou vs Kirei. This fight is so terrible even Kirei's Kyrie Eleison scene was 10x better. They could've added at least a 2 minute dialogue, they could've just kept Kirei still using Bajiquan, they could've atleast kept Shirou's "I like Kotomine Kirei" but no, they just went and have Kirei punch Shirou in the head about 10x even though the VN said he'll die if he got hit once. Seriously, this is nothing but a major disappintment to me. Thank them Camelot duology and UBW movie exists.

"Rejoice, boy. Your wish will finally come true." Those were the words i kept hearing inside my head as i started watching this movie. After a very long wait, the final piece of the Heaven's Feel route is finally available. It should be noted that my expectations were insanely high, and they were not disappointed in the slightest. Story : 10/10. The story of the fate stay night series can be either very complex or plain simple, depending on how much involvement the watcher wants to have through the series. But even with little effort from the viewer, the story is laid out in a way that everyone can understand and enjoy, while also rewarding those who want to get the most out of it. Art and Sound : 10/10 The ufotable quality is already known far and wide when it comes to anime production value. Even so, it's a rare event when they manage to go even beyond that. The visual and sound aspects of Heaven's Feel III were beyond magnificent. From fights to little details, there's no other anime which can immerse you into the action so profoundly, that you'll feel you're there, in the middle of the action. The soundtrack is beyond extraordinary, and will give you the right feeling at the right time. The main fight of the movie was the most glorious scene i've ever seen. Characters : 10/10. Each and every character has been well developed throughout the series, and received a most fitting end. Believable, natural, built around their inner conflicts, those would be the words i'd use to describe them. Enjoyment : 10/10. I've been itching to watch this since forever. Words alone cannot express the feeling this anime gives me. Overall : 10/10. The fate heaven's feel movies have been a massive success, with a perfect balance between character development, story and astounding visuals and sound, and will forever be one of my favourite series.

Fate/stay night Spring Song is beautiful and will go down as a masterpiece. May Contain Slight Spoilers. Story: Amazing from end to finish, with barely any loose connections. Any potential twists are performed well and the plot makes sense all the way through. It's probably just me, but I prefer endings that leave you fucked in the head. 9/10 Art: I'm not sure how to say this but, the artstyle is very simple, but that doesn't mean we have any bad character designs. Character designs still hold up well and sometimes a few characters feel superior to their prior artstyles in Unlimited Blade Works (Shirou's face feels like it has a bit of space between his eyes). 9/10 Sound: With Aimer's Orgasmic Ending, the amazing ost's and the sword fights not stooping to the Berserk Standard of Pan Slamming, I'd say it's amazing. Though I have just one peeve, and it's the fact that during (Spoilers) the fight with Saber and Rider, as Saber is about to use her Noble Phantasm, she shouts EX- just for a short awkward pause, and then -CALUBUR, which I found to be very weird. Same goes for Shirou and Rider in the same fight. It's mostly just a Me thing. 10/10 Characters: Characters peak in the Conclusion. (Spoilers) With Shirou not letting go of his promise to save Sakura until the end of the movie, to Tohsaka using her smarts to *almost* beat Sakura, but being soft inside (tsundere uwu), Every Character has reached the end of their respective arcs, and it really shows. 10/10 Enjoyment: I admit, Anime's been boring me lately, my complain that episodes felt very long to me. but ufotable took the charge by turning the Heaven's Feel series into movies, that are packed with multiple emotions as your progress, making you cry as well as making you smile. Honestly one of the most fun movie trilogy's I've watched. 10/10 Overall 10/10 Truly a masterpiece, Even if there might've been plot holes here and there, my view on this trilogy will never fade.

Came back to anime after a long break and this standout prompted me to write the first review after the long absence. Story: 9.5/10 Nitpicking here, there were some pacing problems in the initial first half which was a bit slow. However the long background and exposition with history of how the three magical clan heads came together to do something was well done. It's hard not to give away spoilers but Shiro is a LOT smarter than his "fool hero" behavior would have you believe, he constantly surprised me with his quick thinking and superb decision making abilities which is what kept the story fresh. Tactics wise, he is talented. I had some questions about the ending which I'm hoping someone who's played the game can answer but overall this was good story telling. Art: 10/10 Wow. Just Wow. This is top notch animation. The peach blossoms. The grass. The waves coming to meet the shore. The wind blows and you can see individual strands of hair moving around. The fight choreography. There's nothing to criticize, this is top tier eye candy. Sound: 10/10 The sound effects and music were excellent and fitting for every scene and some of the epic music and the ending song are also good. I expect this OST to sell very well. Character: 10/10 This is the pinnacle of character development. Shiro is now a master tactician and not just the reckless hero from Fate/Stay Night or Unlimited Blade Works. His decisions in this arc are the best decisions he could have made. Some were so genius they left me open mouthed, especially his plan with Rider, which is one of the pinnacles of the movie. Kotomine manages to defeat one opponent using what is essentially an exorcism, which reminds everyone he IS a priest after all. Rin ... does a 180 turn at the most interesting moment. And Sakura has gone from irrelevant and forgettable to one of the key characters in this route. Very well done. Enjoyment: 10/10 I binged the second and third Heaven's Feel movies in 1 night. They were excellent entertainment and I would be happy to watch them again. Overall: 10/10 Worth watching on the largest screen possible. I would have happily watched this in theaters if those in my area were to re-open. Highly recommended, but might not be as good for those who aren't fans of the Fate Series.

Of all the Fate stay nights, this is the best of all. I did not think after Fate/Zero to enjoy another story turned into a masterpiece Never cry so much for an anime in a long time, one of the most epic animations that currently exists, ufotable is a blessing to make this work of art. The story joining Fate/Zero, the puzzles were assembled and developed to perfection and the characters are now much better. Also one of the most majestic fights, is in this movie. If I could express what I feel, it is only gratitude for having existed this Anime, my heart was filled with so many emotions that I did not feel for a long time. I will keep this in my memory for the rest of my life, another movie that will mark me in my heart.

Every Fate adaptation is bad nor will there ever be a good one. The Heaven's Feel movie is exactly what intended to be: An adaptation of the final chapters of the Heaven's Feel route and after completing this film I now understand the idea of even adapting Fate/Stay Night into another medium (This includes other VN adaptations) misses what Fate/Stay Night is and what it does entirely but that's not the point here. Is this movie worth your time? If you already followed all of the fate anime before this, understand that this is the end of the series. Its true climax. Every character has finally been explored and their arcs completed, every stone has been turned now and we've been rewarded with the most Happy End seen so far in Fate and it's a satisfying one. As you'd expect the fights look great since it's ufotable but for those like me who prefer a fight to have more grounded choreography you won't find that here but if you've reached this point you're already more than aware. If you haven't refreshed yourself on the Stay Night series I'd recommend you do before watch this film and keep in mind that every route is a direct continuation from each other (Fate -> UBW -> Heaven's Feel). I know you understand this is the necessary order but ever wonder why is that beyond just "that's how it must be"? (Spoilers ahead) Heaven's Feel is the end of Fate/Stay Night, it's impossible to reach this route without completing the previous two and understanding this will make the structure of Fate immediately more clear of why it is the way it is. Why must the anime/VNs be experienced in a specific order? Because the story progresses from the last, why is it that there's blatant holes in the narrative in everywhere? Because they're separately explored in each route and even in Bad Ends in the VN. The entirety of the Fate/Stay Night Visual Novel IS the story Fate, rather than it hosting 3 different stories that give different points. The very start of Fate, from the first time we meet Shirou in the Fate route (Deen/Stay Night) he's a character that's conflicted and heavy under-values his life and by the end he becomes Archer, realising the scope of his dream. UBW Shirou then has to confront Archer, who represents the reality of what Shirou will become and ultimately Shirou accepts that fate but still under-minds the fact his choices are still based on others and still under-values his life. Then we reach Heaven's Feel Shirou, who completely surpasses Archer by adjusting himself to what HE wants instead of what should be and finally values his own life even if for the greater good as he proclaims with the most genuine emotion he's expressed this entire Game/Series "I want to live". There's plenty to unpack with jus Shirou alone but you're smart enough to understand on your own time. All in all, I've found a new respect and even love in this series which I haven't felt when I started. And even with these high effort adaptations being made for Fate and they are well done in their own right, it simply could never replace the experience of the VN and is the more recommended and ideal way to experience Fate/Stay Night. If you're a fan of the anime for more than its action I do think you'll gain the better experience there.

For a series to be able to return back years and years later truly shows people popularity of the series. FSN is an example, originally a VN, which is its source materials from the early 2000s, returns a decade later with countless anime adaptations which attempts to cover all the different possilbe ways of telling the story with its multiple routes. The Heaven's Feel route of this story is a rewarding experience for many new and old fate fans who have been looking forward to specifically this route's adaption much like UBW. The story is fairly straightforward for people have experience with the other alternates routes of FSN. But may be confusing for others who have just arrived to watching the only the movies of Heaven's Feel with no background knowledge of the other anime or VN (and of course audience is expected to have seen the first two Heaven's Feel movies before watching Spring Song). The main purpoose of creating multiple routes in FSN is to demonstrate the significance of decisions made by characters and slight changes of the environment as well as placement of characters in events and even slightly altered character experience can have significant impacts the way of telling the story, resulting in a very different outcome. An example which i can give is Heaven's Feel route, where most Fate Fans would agree that it is the more tragic compared to the other two routes of the story. Creating isn't just to tell story differently but to also please fans with things such as fan service and so forth. If you have been following the animation company, Ufotable. Then it is not even a question of whether the animation is good or not. If you have been watching their production since 2007, Kara no Kyoukai, then you would understand how the animation was ahead of its time. Same thing has been accomplished for Spring Song. The animation is exceptional followed by the amazing soundtrack of the explosive action packed animations makes it a unforgettable rollercoaster ride throughout not just this but all 3 movies over these past 3 years. To wrap my review up, I believe this movie will not disappointment new and old fate fans alike or just overall Type/Moon fans. It lives up to the hype that has been building up for this adaptation over years, making it really worth a watch, and the it is in my opinion a satisfactory way to wrap up FSN story adaptation (unless they're planning to remake Saber route).
