Pikotarou no Lullaby Lullaby is a cinematic masterpiece due to it's beautiful story. Of a man getting over his fears. As the story develops the main character slowly becomes more and more fearless. Till the last ep where he gotten over all his fears and able to rest, peacefully. The art rival that of any Kyoto Animation's films and anime. The ending song is beautifully made and it beats the evangelion ending, "Fly me to the moon". I really enjoy this anime, it captivated me the second I lay my eyes on the screen while this was playing. Overall this damn anime is a 20/10. None can beat it.

Pikotaro's Lullabies are quintessential Takashi Taniguchi - wry, a little clumsy and rather silly (maybe even downright stupid). Not to be taken seriously, these 3-minute shorts offer an alternative perspective to classic fables/folktales from around the world. Aside from the opening and closing, there is minimal/no music and - true to Taniguchi's style - all sound effects are depicted by voice. The characters are often awkward and have tenuous interactions with Pikotaro (Kosaka Kazuhito), and the art is what one might find in a picture story book or web comic. Overall, these may be great for anyone who has a penchant for pineapple apple pens, thinks Shigeo is handsome, joined Charlie on his journey to Candy Mountain, empathise with beached whales and/or can't stop mumbling, "Snape, Snape, Se~~~verus Snape".

We're delving into Pikotaro's comedy shenanigans in the second outing of his brand of humor with regards to children's bedtime stories. The length still remains the same for each of these episode are only 3 minutes long but instead of 3 episodes from the original net animation, we now have 9 episodes of his madness to deal with it. You know what's even more ridiculous is the fact that some of the humor in some of these episodes actually made me laugh which is why I'll give it a slightly higher score then the original net animation. The premise is still the absolute same from it's first iteration. The animation is still stop motion characters that either vibrate, bounce, or move up and down on a single storybook page where characters are often zoomed in or zoomed out all depending on the insane plot that is present in any of these children's bedtime stories. They don't really make any sense all thing considering, but I often find that the longer I get exposed to Pikotarou's the more I'm kind of/sort of starting to understand his style and it does lead to some pretty humorous moments in some of his stories. I particularly liked his humor in the stories about Jack and Beanstalk and the Three Little Pigs. The children's bedtime stories that covered in this 9 episode adventure of asinine insanity are: The Ant and The Grasshopper The Golden Axe Jack and the Beanstalk The King Has Donkey Ears The Emperor's New Clothes The North Wind and Sun The Three Little Pigs The Town Musicians of Bremen Little Red Riding Hood A lot of these episodes are purely nonsensical and they can have their share of funny moments as well, but even if the sense of humor and the animation style isn't your thing; the episodes are only three minutes long so it's not like it's going to suck up a considerable amount of your time. I personally think the humor works a little better in these 9 episodes than the first three episodes of Pikotaro's interpretation of classic children's bedtime stories but overall it was never that enjoyable or memorable to begin with.

This is literal peak. This helped me sleep through countless nights. I watched this with my best friend and we intently knocked out. I guess we fell in love with Pikotarou!!! I DEFINETELY recommend!!!! Basically its likes 4 minutes of goofy narration. Think about it, the pen pineapple apple pen guy telling you a bed time story. WHAT CAN NOT BE BETTER THAT THAT? SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT IT, THE PEN PINEAPPLE APPLE PEN GUY. WITH THE AMAZING YELLOW OUTFIT AND EXCELLENT MUSTACHE. Each little episode has a different story. It like classic kind of stories but with a spin on them. Very goofy spins. I loved the humpy dumpy sat on the wall one. This is what makes it so enjoyable. The art style is also kind of weirdly funny but unique to Pikotarou's excellent humor. If you do not like satire and goofy stories with odd animations go watch something else buster. Hate to break it to you pal, these gag stories are not for you so stay with you MHA. IM just joshing, if you do not like it its okay. IF YOU DO LOVE GOOFY ANIMATION AND STORY THEN GIVE THIS A TRY> ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED A RESTFUL NIGHT SLEEP. Okay I am done rambling, GO OUT THERE AND GET YOUR REST BY WATCHING PIKOTAROU no Lullaby Lullaby!!!!

Pikotarou no Lullaby is a show that hits the mark on what it does. Its short, sweet, and surprisingly funny! If you're looking for something to get a quick laugh or just to pass the time with something that doesn't feel like fast food then I say give it a shot. Even if you don't like it the episodes are only 3 minutes a pop and there are only 9 episodes. It's worth every second you watch it. Overall Pikotarou no Lullaby is worth a shot and I give it a solid 9/10, if there was more i'd give it a 10/10.
