Oh just a note. The 5 score is based on the real world scoring where it's pretty average for the genre/television in general. On the MyAnimeList crazy scale somewhere between 6.5 and 7 is about right. One you can't shouldn't watch this if you haven't watched the main series. Just don't. You may well think it should have negative numbers if you do. My Character, Story, Enjoyment, and numbers are all based on watching this as part of the main series, not as a standalone. The overall number of 5 is purely from how this episode stands on its own. While you can watch the main series without this, the converse is not true. You do not need to watch this, to enjoy the main series. It has a perfectly good conclusion that if anything was weakened by the tie in to this OVA. Art, and Sound, were mostly consistent with the level of the original series. The enjoyment was considerably less than the main series. If anything it belittled the overall enjoyment much, the way jokes stop being funny if told too often. Is it watchable, yes. Best to have it on in the background while doing other things though.

Just a note: There are two OVAs for this show. One is a full length episode that they teased at the end of the series that is a Blu-Ray only bonus. First half is about their little adventure in the love hotel, and the second half is at the school with our hero and the 4 main girls of the series as they're required to take some kind of supplementary activity to achieve a passing grade in Health. The second "OVA" is a sort of audio commentary of the first episode, but they stop the commentary shortly after the first ad break in the episode. The second "OVA" isn't really worth watching. Not worth wasting 11 minutes on. Because I'm forced to give a "score", I'm giving the same score I gave the series. 5/10.

They compared this OVA to Euphoria, man, lol Boku no Kanojo ga Majimesugiru Sho-bitch na Ken OVA delivers exactly what you'd expect from an ecchi romantic comedy OVA: more fanservice, more double entendres, and scenes designed to exploit the characters' embarrassment. Those who have watched the main series probably know what to expect here, because the special doesn't try to innovate or add anything relevant to the story. The episode's main focus is ecchi, and I must admit it fulfills its purpose well within the genre. The situations are exaggerated, misunderstandings happen all the time, and the animation knows how to highlight the moments its target audience is looking for. For those who enjoy this type of work, it will probably be fun and deliver exactly what's expected. The problem is that this type of humor doesn't work very well for me anymore. A few years ago I probably would have enjoyed the experience more, but currently I'm at a point where ecchi anime rarely manages to hold my attention. It's not necessarily a flaw in the work, but a matter of personal taste. A large part of the jokes revolve around embarrassing situations and sexual innuendo, something that ends up becoming repetitive for those who aren't fans of the genre. What caught my attention the most, however, was seeing some people comparing this OVA to Euphoria. Honestly, I found that comparison very exaggerated. I understand that ecchi is the genre closest to hentai and that some scenes may seem more daring than usual, but there's still a huge difference between an ecchi comedy like this and a work known precisely for its extremely explicit content. To me, the comparison seems more like an attempt to attract attention than an analysis that actually makes sense. Furthermore, the episode doesn't present any significant character development or narrative advancement. It functions more as a bonus for fans of the series, offering more of the same in a short and uncommitted format. Those who already liked the anime will probably be satisfied, while those who don't appreciate ecchi will hardly find anything here capable of changing their opinion. Ultimately, I consider it a mediocre OVA. It's not bad within what it sets out to do, but it doesn't offer anything particularly memorable either. It will please fans of the genre, but for those who, like me, aren't very interested in this type of content, it ends up being just a fleeting experience. Nota: 5/10
