SPOILER FREE If you're still doubting whether to watch this series or not because of it's somewhat low ratings, then this is the review for you. To be honest, I also had my doubts at first because some people claimed it to boring, but I guess you really can't judge a book by its cover. Personally, I found this anime really fun and enjoyable. The only dull moments would probably be the bear explaining some difficult concepts and I can see how that would bore some people, but other than that, I had my eyes glued on the screen; it was pure entertaining and wholesome content. I would love to see more of this in the future!

Ok some spoilers here Story-7 It's Original, the story is unique though it reminds me alot of kaguya sama still it has this unique vibe to it although it is also rather simple which helps in understanding the flow of the show. It does have some plotholes here and there but overall it's good Art- 7 I like the art style, the animation is good. Himuro's ponytail movements are something im still wondering about. Sound-8 The op is awesome, it took me quite a while to realize that Sora Amamiya actually sang that op. Other than that yeah the anime gets some of that laboratory feel with its sound Characters-8 first of all the Characters are not actual scientists, rather they are students who do labwork so their actions in the lab make more sense given that context. They have great chemistry with each other and though act childish and stupid at times it's fun nonetheless enjoyment-8 This show gives of the kaguya sama vibe, so I personally liked it it also teaches you some scientific stuff that you'll be encountering once you enter college so yeah It's a pretty and enjoyable anime to watch overall-8

This is my first ever review, so please bear with me as I try to logically structure my thoughts about this show. Mostly spoiler-free unless otherwise noted. Synopsis: Yukimura and Himuro are two scientists who are scientific to a fault. After coming into close contact, they fall in love with one another. Because they both are science types, they can't accept the attraction as just "emotional." The pair devise a series of scientific experiments to quantify the attraction they feel, and try to determine if this feeling really is the "love" they hypothesize it to be. Characters: The story has a diverse cast of characters, including Yukimura, Himuro, their kohai Kanade, the lab director, and a few other members of the lab. The story mainly focuses on Yukimura and Himuro and their interactions with one another. While good, the characters aren't without faults. The main problem I have with the cast is the amount anime of tropes present: violent shy girl (Kanade), eroge addict (lab member Kosuke), and quirky gamer girl (Ibarada) just to name a few. Tropes can be fine if they have something else added to them. Unfortunately, this isn't the case here. For the most part, characters stick to their types and remain static throughout the course of the show. This lack of growth is most apparent with the two main characters Yukimura and Himuro. While they do become a little more in-touch with their emotions at the end of the show, the scientific method still rules their thoughts. Seeing them be able to think more emotionally would have been satisfying. Also, a hyper-emotional character to balance out the hyper-scientific main pair would have been nice. While amusing for the first few episodes, the overanalyzing by Yukimura and Himuro does becomes tiresome. All of this adds up to characters who didn't feel like real people. I found myself losing interest in them and their motivations towards the end of the show. Story (Spoliers ahead): The plot is mostly genetic in its overall concept: two people like each other and try and get together. I don't have any problem with this type of show if it's well-executed and believable. I thought the plot was fine until the very end when the group takes a trip to Okinawa. *Spoiler Warning* When Yukimura and Himuro get into an argument, the Himuro tries to resolve it by giving Yukimura a gift. Before she can give it to him, another girl with the group breaks the gift. She does this because she's making a manga about the pair's exploits and thought it would make her story better by doing this. This whole idea seemed like a lazy excuse to create a situation where the pair would have to make up later. The set-up could have been better written imo, and significantly affected my enjoyment of the emotional climax when Yukimura and Himuro finally kiss (super cute btw). I was satisfied at the end, but had a bad taste in my mouth from the contrived plot points the story needed to get there. (End of Spoliers) Sound/Art: The show was well-animated and scored for the most part. Visually, the character designs were distinct and appealing, and the animation was good enough. Characters facial expressions and reactions were funny but not over-the-top like studio Zero-G's last anime Grand Blue. There wasn't any amazing sakuga, but frankly the show didn't need it. Sound effects and music choice were both nice but not noteworthy. The only complaint I had about the sound design was when they used the OP in the final scene of the show. I know it's a common practice, but the happy sound felt really out-of-place with the tone of the scene. Overall Thoughts/Enjoyment: While watching the show, I did find myself enjoying it for the most part. The whole vibe of the show was really cute and funny to watch. The interplay between the different characters was amusing, especially between the eroge addict and the lab coordinator. There were a few weak points the show had that took away from my overall enjoyment, unfortunately. The first weakness was the humor and how it was approached. The whole humor of this show revolves around how absurd Yukimura and Himuro's attempts to quantify love are. They are the funny man in the funny-man straight-man act. However, the show lacks a straight man to ground the show's comedy in reality. There isn't anyone who says "Aren't you guys kinda coming at this wrong?" and pulls them back to Earth. The result is that the pair's weird thinking becomes the norm and ceases to be weird and funny. While Kanade offers some perspective every once-in-a-while, its not often enough to offset Himuruki's crazy scientific antics. The second weak point was the writing of the story. While fine in most aspects, some contrivances made the ending feel lacking in comparison to the rest of the show. The third and final problem I had was how flat some characters felt. Besides Yukimura, Himuro, and Kanade, the other lab members didn't have enough memorable traits or growth to make them interesting or feel like real characters. I understand this is the norm in the romance genre, but that doesn't mean it has to be. I would have liked to see more meaningful interactions between them and Yukimura/Himuro could have made both parties more interesting and complex characters. Conclusion: While not deep or especially meaningful, Science Fell in Love is a quirky show that can be enjoyed by people who want to know more about the scientific community while watching some cute romance at the same time. While the show isn't my favorite, I can see why people enjoy it. If the concept seems interesting to you, give it 3 episodes and see what you think.

SPOILERS WARNING Ok so practically this anime took the idea from Wotakoi (Love is hard for an otaku) and adapted it for "science people" I mean the fact that the science is taken too far is what made the anime not so enjoyable for me... Some jokes can be ok, but having a bunch of scientists work really hard to explain something that was too obvious made them look so stupid. The main characters are boring, just scientists that are too intelligent for being normal high school students, a super cute but "strong" girl, the super smart but small and cute girl and the dork who shouldn't be in the club to begin with! I think that watching those two trying to accomplish love by experiments made me feel so awkward! Specially when they started trying kissing and dating. I have to say that even that could have been more enjoyable if the characters were a little bit more human, showing more than the steoreotype they are based on; but there was nothing relatable about them. They even had to add a "crazy mangaka" as the villian in order to get those two to kiss! I mean, you don't need a villian to make a love story work! you just need more time for the characters to accept how the feel, experience more together and all that, not that cliche part of: "Oh no she broke her gift for him! she runs away (even though being so smart she decided to run like crazy) and trips, Oh no! he has to go and save her!" That was over the top even for an basic anime like this one. It can be fun at times, specially if you get the formulas and ideas they are talking about, the animation is ok but the art is really generic. If you like science you may find this one a little bit entertaining, but If you want something more relatable and more of a love story then there are plenty more and a lot better that this one.

This show has an interesting and somewhat ambitious premise of two scientists trying to understand the material conditions of the thing we call "love". The series starts strong, stumbles a bit in the middle, but ultimately sticks the landing in the last two episodes. The expository interludes do a pretty good job giving the basics of whatever scientific concept the characters are discussing. The characters are interesting and feel like actual people, though I did find myself questioning how Inukai got accepted into the lab from time to time. Still, there's enough there to make the characters feel fleshed out and the little flashes of depth we get make the characters more than just one-dimensional archetypes. Overall an ultimately enjoyable, but not outstanding romantic comedy that suffers from a sloppy writing mid-season and relies on forced drama to bring about its satisfying conclusion.

I don't like to make really long reviews because reading too much is really annoying so I'll go straight to the points. This anime is great if you want to have a good time, not like impressive and perfect, but probably one of the best romcom I've seen in a While. The story is pretty simple, in a ressearch lab there are 2 researchers, Himuro and Yukimura, abd Himuro tells one day to Yukimura that she thinks that she is inlove with him and, since they are the science kind they start their own research to prove that point, simple premise but really effective. The art and sound of this anime is fucking damn great, probably I'll have the opeing song for a long time in my head. The characters design are simple but really compeling, beautiful and overall really nice. The characters are great, not fucking damn stereotypes... well some of them a bit but really charming on their own way, you are going to be really feeling how Kanade feels a lot of the time... seriously I don't know how she doesn't kick the faces of Himuro and Yukimura more often xD. If you've been a nerd all your life (like me) you are going to enjoy this anime a lot because you are going to easy identify with the main characters, the commedy is there and is funny in general. I really enjoyed this one!

I think my favourite thing about this anime is it's sense of humour. It's VERY nerdy but does make an effort to explain what they're talking about, which I can appreciate, although it does get a little annoying at times. The characters are a little charming although lacking in emotional depth. This is your typical clumsy baka-couple that are both too shy to openly express or admit their feelings for each other, going through your typical anime rom-com misunderstandings and some good old jealousy bombs along the way. It does get VERY CRINGEY at times but sometimes you can't help it with a story like this and characters like this. At the end of the day I got a good few laughs out of the arguments they had and enjoyed it in a very easy way, just don't take it too seriously.

Overall a very good Anime, This is a great mix between the classic romance style anime and the more relaxed romcom comedy style which gives it a very unique and sparkling vibe. If I had to compare it to another anime I'd say it is built upon some of the same ideas as "Sakurasou no pet kanojo" and "Golden Times" which both utilize this concept. Overall a very enjoyable anime with lots of laughter if you understand the scientific terms used, and even if you don't they usually explain them in a funny way afterwards, there is also a lot of moments where you feel like you know exactly what will happen only to find out that the creators choose to take a completely other path that you didn't even think about and still keeping the story very easy to follow which makes for a lot of moments where you can't keep yourself from enjoying it. If I have to complain about something it can only be that the series is only 12 episodes long instead of making it a 24 long one, but that is just me rooting for more of the characters, which brings me on to exactly those. The characters are very though through and have their unique quirks which makes them adapt a very precise roll and makes the story really easy to follow and enjoy, however only the two main characters undergo any major development which both brings the focus to the main protagonists and unfortunately makes the side characters a bit flat. Overall a very good anime and I would gladly recommend it to anyone who likes either comedy or light romance anime. 8/10 Also the ED is dope, just saying.

Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita. (2020) Initially, I was not actually watching this but after swapping it with something I thought was moving too slowly I am so glad that I did. The shows premise on scientists wanting to prove love to each other is actually really nice and an unusual setting. I think the show has many merits with the uniqueness of the storyline and a small yet vibrant cast. The opening episode dropping a huge bomb immediately was unexpected. The only downside I really found was the drama that came out of the show with the last 2 episodes but then again it was needed I guess. Maybe a 13th episode to spread it better would have helped. Kanade who I would suggest is the main character of the show as it happens around her more than anything is a really great character. The Manga artist is also pretty good for creating the drama. Ena I would suggest is the best girl in the show. Her personality is pretty funny and her voice is great. When her eyes change near the end of the last episode in the hotel was pretty funny. Yukimura and Himuro are the true main characters but at the same time are not. They are very interesting and the basis of the show but they are also a bit much at times with the awkwardness. But then that is the show. The scientific side of the show was good with the bear and it gave a few interesting theories to look at more. I think the art was nicely done with some weird effects at times. Yukimura, when he runs, was a bit clunky. Himuro and her hair are pretty funny in early episodes. The OP and ED are really good for this show and very memorable. Overall it sits between 8 and 9 for me. I will say a 9. It finishes really nicely in a way that strongly suggests there are no plans for a season 2 but that would also be welcomed.

At first I watched this thinking, “Why would anyone try to prove love with data?” But it turned out to be pretty fun. What makes it different is that it’s not about will-they-won’t-they drama. They already clearly like each other. The problem is they refuse to accept it without proof. Everything has to be measured. There has to be numbers. Graphs. Repeatable results. Honestly, it feels unnecessarily complicated. Like they’re overthinking something that could be simple. But at the same time… I kind of get it. Embarrassment, nervousness, jealousy — it all feels safer when it’s wrapped in data. It’s no longer vulnerability, it’s just “research results.” What stood out to me is that even though the scientific explanations are real and based on actual theories, it still feels incomplete. Love isn’t absolute. No matter how correct your data is today, there will always be new variables tomorrow. People change. Situations change. Feelings change too. And that’s where the irony hits. They’re trying so hard to make love something solid and certain, when in reality it’s something dynamic. Overall, season 1 is funny, absurd, but lowkey philosophical. It doesn’t really give you a clear answer about love — it just makes you question whether love is something that even can be proven in the first place.

I love this. A scientific look at love, I've been looking for this for a VERY long time. I don't really understand love so tis was an interesting look into a rational perspecitve on the case. In my research I've come to a similar resolution. Romance is calculable to a certain point where after that it's completely random. You can't determine who a certain person will fall for. No matter how much you calculate, currently there's no concrete theory on who a certain person will like. This anime pushed me forward in my exploration of love/attraction. Sure it's easy to see what attracts a certain person to another physically, but after that it's open to the individual. Maybe there's a correlation between attraction and love though I don't see it yet byt I'll look into it more. Currently this is a 9/10 for me, check out my review for season 2. That one's a 10/10 imo so it's gonna be way more positive

Rikei ga Koi had a generous debut and with all episodes completed, i can speak abit about this Wonderfull anime. so let's talk a little about this anime that can have fun that is only looking for a romantic comedy. ___It can be really fun_.__ img520(https://i.postimg.cc/Fsqd36Xk/redline.gif) One of the great things that draws attention in Rikei ga Koi is its proposal that reminds a little of Kaguya-sama. You have a couple of scientists who spend their time trying to prove what they feel through certain experiments and tests, but the similarities end there, and the anime manages to have a good personality of its own. At this point, it is worth mentioning that the work is not afraid to use science, where mathematical formulas, graphs, tables, logical schemes and everything else that is part of this scientific side of the thing, pop up on the screen all the time. This is where perhaps the greatest danger of anime is, since it can scare those who are not very familiar with this type of thing, or even cause that feeling of information overload, since I myself had to stop the episodes at various times to read what was written there, that yes, it often works as jokes, or as a complement to what the characters are explaining. The anime also tries to use those interactive cuts to help explain, but here comes another small problem, which is the Brazilian localization. ___Might be a little bear-bearing___ At least where I watched the attempt to adapt the speech mannerism of the stuffed animal exaggerates the "bears" in the middle of the words, which ends up making you confused in some situations, and wasting time in understanding what it meant, instead of paying attention to the so-called important explanations. In addition, these types of pets tend to get cloying over time, precisely because they are exaggerated in the way they talk, so it ends up being a dangerous combo for those who are not really in the mood to listen to scientific explanations all the time. ___At least there are few explanations of the type per episode.___ Apart from that part, the rest of the anime manages to be very interesting, starting with the couple, who have a very good charisma. The way the confession of love happened makes you buy into their relationship right away, and after that things get even more interesting. As much as I have the issue I mentioned above, about having a lot of scientific explanations, it didn't get me bored, and the execution of the experiments makes up for a good part of that The two scientists do everything when it's a test, ranging from classic clichés, like the one pressed against the wall, to more silly things, like the difference the taste of food can make when made with love. In these four episodes that came out I didn't feel that the formula was tiring, since they varied a lot in the experiments, and the direction managed to keep the creativity, and the comic timing of the scenes well. That is, the basic idea of the anime manages to be well executed, which is good to keep you entertained, and not feel that things are taking a strange turn. ___You can go without fear of numbers.___ To better complement this idea, it is worth talking about the characters. The initial cast was very charismatic. The two protagonists have good chemistry, as I said, and the assistant who is next to him helps to make things funny, always being the voice of reason in the midst of those crazy experiments. The other two scientists (who should also become a couple) didn't take much prominence, but they made good appearances, helping to make the cast more varied. Their personality is also good, and the most interesting thing is that, even though the main couple are dense to the point of not understanding the basics of romance, you don't get that feeling that things are standing still. The fourth episode ended a meeting between them well, with an ending that makes you want to see them soon taking up their relationship, because it's very clear that the two like each other. ___Another waifu for the list_.__ In summary, Rikei ga Koi is one of those typical works that are well liked by those who like romantic comedies. The charisma of the main couple manages to keep the episodes fun, and the different proposal, using science, can please even more those who want to see something outside the classic standard, mainly because the characters are adults and not teenagers.

All right, hands down! I never expect this series to be so captivating, hilarious, dumb yet entertaining. If you're the science-type (like college students or currently working for some scientific research), you will appreciate Rikei ga Koi. The best thing about this series is the consistency of the characters and the main issue (plot) which is to prove 'love'. As easy as we thought that 'love' can be proven through actions and words, here comes Himuro and Yukimura, two scientists who try to justify love in numbers. Crazy couple (but I love them)! However, as much as I'd like to say that this is an easy watch, it's not really easy for me. I used to be actively involved in scientific research myself. It truly made me pause at certain parts and started finding out whether the things that they presented on the show were really a thing or just fictional. But trust me, it's funny! On the other hand, Himuro is definitely a cool lady who sometimes got caught off guard due to her overwhelming feelings but Yukimura... is on another level! His denial is the strongest point of this series and the main source of my frustration. The kind of frustration that made me go "just freaking confess and kiss, baka!" hahahaha. Overall, I'd highly recommend this for those who appreciate scientific research but are looking for a (parody) series of science, otherwise you will find this series to be a waste of time and 'gibberish'. If you are hoping to see a quick progress, you will be disappointed because it is quite elusive and like the ocean waves (easy come, easy go) but there are many parts of Rikei ga Koi that will make your heart goes dokidoki! That's all from me, thank you. Enjoy!

I don't actually have too much to say! :o It's a fun, short romance comedy, and you'll find out exactly what it's about - and if you'll like it - by reading the synopsis and/or watching the first episode! A fairly standard love story, although in this case, the two characters are trying to prove their love scientifically, and shenanigans ensue! The characters I found really charming and fun, including the side cast! The music was a joy as well, It's condensed sweetly in a 12 episode package, not overstaying its welcome, It's not -too- tropey, only as cringy as it needs to be, has some good humour, and a fine end. It's not thought-provoking, but it doesn't need to be. There's a little hiccup at the end, what with having to create a temporary "villain", but it's easily enough looked over. Fun flick, would recommend if y'like this kind of cheesy stuff. ^^

It's been a while since I've written a review but this anime was too good not to say something about it... Firstly, the art style is amazing. The music choices are cute and went well with the rest of the show. The characters were all enjoyable in their own way, but of course I like the main characters the most. After all, the anime is about finding out if they are in love! I'll be honest at any point they started to talk about science theories I became completely lost and those parts kind of bored me.... That's why the show doesn't get a 10/10 from me. But the comedic scenes were actually quite cute and the romantic scenes were simply adorable! I do recommend watching this one and I'm excited for the release of the second season.

*Very vague and minor spoilers, but they are still there, so be warned* TL;DR at the end! Story 8/10: Unlike a lot of rom-coms, there is a chronological plot to the otherwise very slice-of-life styled show. I can’t complain much about “oh there’s no big bad evil to defeat” for most rom-coms, but I’m still glad this show took a shot at actual problems standing in the main couple’s way at the end, unlike other 2020 rom-coms like Tonikawa which had no meaningful barriers in their way. The premise is focused on two people conducting various experiments to find a way to quantify “love”. It’s a simple but effective premise, and this goal is set within the first few minutes of the first episode — something that relieves me, since a lot of anime fall into the “too much prologue” trap. Some people had an issue because the comedy wasn’t their style, but I personally found the show pretty hilarious. Maybe it’s because I’m a nerd and was willing to distinguish them (I imagine many people ignored the explanations because they didn’t really care, which is valid), but the scientific references didn’t become repetitive, and as a bonus, I learned new things with this show. Fun! My one complaint story-wise was that the pacing in the show often felt a bit rushed, leaving little room for viewers to feel the comedy and drama effectively. To make up for this, though, I think they were able to put in a lot of worth-while content! Couple that with the fact that the ending was slightly overdramatized, and that’s about all I can say about story complaints. Did I mention that I adore the fact that the show is in a university lab setting? So many shows focus on high school romance, or middle-age adult romance. It’s nice to see something that falls in-between. Art 7/10: Quite average, but I’m a fan of the more mature art style! I like that the style bends a lot for the characters (Ibarada has a very different look from, say, Himuro, despite them being the same age group and gender, etc). No same-face-syndrome in this show! Very well thought out designs that I’d recognize anywhere. Excellent use of colours to distinguish characters, at least in my opinion. Some of the animation panels were not... optimal... in terms of anatomy, but it was nothing out of the ordinary for an ONA, and it only hindered the experience once in the show. Sound 9/10: Most of the time I give sound design a 7 or 8 when they are average, since I find sound to be either “I noticed the background track sounded good” or “I didn’t notice the bgm at all”. I noticed and enjoyed the background tracks in RikeiKoi, and that’s why the score is high. The opening song was wasted potential because the ending song (what got me into the show in the first place) was an absolute banger. “Turing Love” could have been the OP and it would have been stellar. Not much else to comment on other than that the sounds were good. I vaguely recall some tracks sounding like common cliche emotional tracks here in the western, which only heightened the comedy for me. Character: The characters are rather good, if a bit one-dimensional. Maybe it’s because I just watched Tonikawa, but I felt like the characters here were quite three dimensional. They all adhere to their respective character archtypes, but they’re solid stand-alone characters. I respect that both the main leads are solid characters that can exist interestingly without the need for their love interest. The background characters also have this trait where if I threw them into an entirely different show, they’d still be good characters. I liked that we got to see snippets of the past pasts, and I really liked that a lot of the characterization was indirect. Discovering the new sides to each person was the fun of the show. Even the main “villain” was a cool character you get to discover things about. Though they were a bit much for such a light-hearted show. They were actually pretty intriguing. Enjoyment 9/10: It made me laugh. It made me root for the main couples’ romance. It’s a romance comedy. If it accomplished both these goals, and I liked the show, then it gets a high score! I can definitely see why some people who detest it. If the comedy (which is subjective) was a miss for you, and you’re into more “feelings” romances, this show is not for you. Overall: A great watch, but I wouldn’t rewatch. I’m hyped for the next season! But I wouldn’t go looking for more material right now. I know it’s a very average anime, but I actually really liked it! I enjoyed nearly all aspects of the show. TL;DR - RikeiKoi is a VERY hit-or-miss show. If you’re not into science, the comedy isn’t your thing, and you’re not into the two main characters, you’ll hate this show to bits. If you’re into one of two of those things, it’ll be painfully average. If you like all three (like I do) this show is actually pretty amazing! Give the first three episodes a shot. If it becomes repetitive, then I’d say just drop it, because there’s no turning points where the show suddenly becomes amazing. Overall, I think everything about the anime is very solid, but not necessarily amazing! Would recommend to people I think would enjoy it, but it’s definitely not a “must watch” for everyone!

Science Fell In Love, So I Tried To Prove it Two Scientists Fall in love and they try to find out if they really love each other. In this Anime, the two main characters do a bunch of random Romantic activities to figure out, If What they feel is Truly Love or If Its Just Fake love. What Do I think of this Anime? I think this is a good Anime, that's definitely worth the watch. there's limited characters, so the story leaves room for more character development. The story mostly follows the two main characters, but there's a small romance between two of the side characters. The story for the most part has no cliché moments, besides the beach scene which appears in almost Romance Anime. My only problem with this anime is the last couple of episodes, where (Spoile Alert, well kinda) The two main characters get into a fight over the male lead helping another women with her presentation. The part that annoys me is that, of course the male lead has to apologize, even though he did nothing wrong. But that's small, overall this is a good anime that you should give a shot. There's a lot of cute moments in this anime, After watching this Anime I Was Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes from how sweet this Anime is.

Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It. This was honestly quite the enjoyable ride, I was able to binge it in the course of an evening. The Story 8: I've been in the mood for some good romantic comedy recently, and this hit the spot. Also, from someone who has a master's degree in research psychology, many of the research methodology that was discussed during the show was relatable to me. Though, I can understand if those who are not familiar with (or do not have an interest in) these topics do not find nearly as much enjoyment from it. They also did a good job of explaining a lot of these scientific concepts and terms. Art 8: The art felt well done and fluid, I had no issues with it. At the same time, though, it was not something otherworldly. Sound 6: The sound was nice, but nothing that I would consider too special. Character 7: I enjoyed the characters greatly, but I did find myself getting frustrated at Yukimura quite a bit with his lack of tact (which I know we as the audience should be, but still). I also feel like some of the side characters could be quite forgettable. ...also, Inukai is best boy. Enjoyment 9: As stated before, I greatly enjoyed my time with this. I feel like part of this is to do with the fact that it was a good time for me to watch this show, and that I probably got more out of it due to personal circumstances than some others would. For that matter, I probably got more enjoyment out of it than I would if I chose to watch this at a different point in my life. Overall 8: This was a great time, and I would recommend it to those who enjoy science, romance, college life, or comedy. Also, I had issues with a couple of episodes, so I watched some of it in sub and some in dub. Both of which I found were very well done (coming from a previous die hard sub fan). If this show sounds like something you would be interested in, then I would wholeheartedly recommend giving it a shot. :)

I will try to keep it as simple and brief as possible 1. Overall theme: (8/10)The leading aim isn’t as fixated or clear for the series as it is being showcased, but the series uses that to its advantage to bring about unforeseen circumstances which further adds on to keep the viewer engaged well enough. The tone is slightly expected to be very much scientific, but it manages it very well to make sure to represent everything in a much-simplified manner for the common viewer to be able to keep with the conversations taking place. All in all, the pacing keeps things interesting and fun until the very end, the only requirement being attention towards it, although, it’s also to be recommended to be viewed casually if wanted to. 2. Pacing: (7.5/10)The story content per episode is very much wholesome and doesn’t falter anywhere during its runtime, but that would also be mean to say that further excitement for the next episode is somewhat affected. However, that is compensated by the fact that many elements of interest are introduced every time, making the episode much more enjoyable than usual. 3. Animation: (7/10)It wouldn’t be wrong to say the art style of animation is quite generic, but considering that it doesn’t distract the viewer from the story being told, it would be to say that it’s done pretty well. With a creative outlook to show the source content in a more innovative format. 4. Sound and Music: (8/10)Much like the art style, the sound and music don’t disappoint in any way, although not a masterpiece of any sorts, the music blends in very well, intensifying the emotional output of scenes, a true work of art by Akiyoshi Yasuda. 5. Cast: (8.5/10)During the series run, not much runtime has been dedicated to the supportive cast, but whenever it has been, it has amplified the connection of the audience to the characters a lot deeper. Much of it has to do with the Research theme as a base for the entire plot, it makes it much easier to understand characters with much easier pacing without much trouble because of their common background with all the other cast. 6. Character Development: (7/10)The story deals with many mature characters, therefore it’s much more difficult to show any significant growth besides the main protagonist, but for the side cast, it is being compensated with the help of revelations of their past with the research team and interactions with the other cast members. 7. Overall Fun: (9/10)Although a bit scientific, the series doesn’t disappoint in its fair share of humour and intense emotions. It is indeed fun to watch characters be put in different positions and dilemmas now and then. 8. Conclusion:(8.7/10)Like already mentioned, it’s not a masterpiece, but entertaining and innovative in terms of story in every other way. Keeps viewer engaged and entertained, provides further insight into different situations characters can be put into and does it’s best to deliver a very unique tale.

This anime was cute just like I expected! A lot of romance like I wanted, and science to somehow prove how we can feel towards others romantically. Let's start with the anime basics. The Story is right in the title; Science Fell in Love(the two main characters describe themselves as science types because of there outlooks and interests), So I Tried to Prove It(the two try to find evidence and clear explanation to why they feel romantic feelings towards each-other). Art style suited the theme perfectly; I love how everything can look strict, sexy and cute at the same time! Love the OST and little sounds they used to heighten the tension between the characters feelings and nerves. All the characters were lovable in their own ways; I loved how the feelings between the two main pairings were so obvious yet they make everything so difficult when the answers are so simple... hopefully that makes sense haa haa! Overall I enjoyed watching this anime, and I can't think of anything of I would change. I'll start reading this manga as soon as I can. I really hope to see Ena and Kosuke get closer together, and maybe invite another member to the Ikeda Research team that way Kotonoha can find herself a romantic partners. <3
