Decent season, it was only 10 episodes long, the main focus of this season was lumachina she is a head priest but she is in a lot of trouble and she meets our Mc, so this season is all about the mission to protect Lumachina. There are some good moments also in some episodes. The fights were decent, and the art style and animation was also decent. What I liked about this season were mainly the fights, the new cast also improved the season a little bit. But I was somewhat disappointed. But it was a decent sequel. It could have been better. If you have watched S1 then definitely watch it I give it 5/10.

Mid. I try not to use that word, but there's really no other word to describe this anime but "mid". It's not bad, it's not good, it's just totally average in every respect. The story is your average Isekai adventure that sees the heroes going up against the corrupt establishment of the world. It's always either the nobles or the church and this time it's the church. The characters are totally average. Diablo is your average nose-bleed MC in the midst of a harem anime. Nosebleeding is so played out, I don't even really get irritated by it, anymore. It certainly hasn't been amusing for many years, but they keep going back to the well more times than a crackhead goes back to the pipe. Like a 30 year old who gets zero kitty, finding himself in a muscular body with big titty thots trying to get that meat would be nosebleeding and running away still after two seasons worth of adventures? Stop it, already. I get that if he actually smashed it would go from Ecchi to Hentai, but you don't have to animate the sex. The realistic outcome would be exactly what was going on with that other demon lord with the three wives. (It was hilarious how angry that made Diablo, though.). Beyond that, the supporting harem is mid. I like them, but there's nothing special about any of them other than titty meat, except in Rem's case. That's booty meat, I guess. They're all just your typical harem girls needing to be saved by the MC and adding hardly nothing to the battles outside of taking down a low-level enemy here or there. The animation was mid. In fact, I would say the animation itself was dated. Like this was animated in 2015 or something. It didn't look terrible, but wasn't great either. Everything, literally everything was completely average. The jokes, the attempts at suspense, the new girls introduced, literally nothing was memorable, but nothing was bad enough to make me drop it, either. It was just something to watch. This is the problem with Ecchi harem anime. They are strictly for showing boobs and don't provide much in the way of depth, character development, drama, or memorable moments. This is why the characters are exactly the same as they were a couple of years ago when I watched the (superior) first season. This is why there is never any loss, never any real stakes. Because it's just about making cute, big-titty elves who move merch and inspire R34 memes. And yet, when I'm blunted, I'll probably do this again. I'll probably smoke something, watch season three, and call it mid again. Because that's how you binge something like this. With a blunt and a mind that completely forgot the first season. You can watch this anime if you want. Is it time wasted? That's up to you. It's so average, I really couldn't tell you if you'd like it or not. I can say that if you've seen a lot of Isekai, it's much more likely that you'll be bored with it, over someone new to the genre. This Isekai story is like every other average Isekai story you have ever seen in your life. So, your time would probably be better spent googling "Top 20 Isekai of all time" and watching whatever you haven't seen yet. Because watching Konosuba, Overlord, Tanya The Evil or No Game, No Life is a VASTLY better use of your time if you want to see Isekai done well.

personally its an good anime its just so stupid it can be funny. I like it because its not serous the point anime doesn't have to be serous because some are meant to be stupid and something you can come home to and just watch for fun. if the fan service makes you unconfutable there is no one saying you have to watch it. my point is if you like stupid anime that make you laugh you should definitely watch it but if you want something more serous maybe you should try a different one. just a clastic set up with clastic character set ups is just what you need sometimes.

A good second season to an amazing first season. Had high hopes for this season, but maybe I set my hopes too high as I was a bit disappointed. The story, when compared to the first season, is extremely dumbed down and dull. This season's main focus wasn't as much surrounding our boy Diablo, but something entirely different with Diablo accompanying it and not being a full part of it. It feels like aspects from season one were toned down for this season. It's not a bad story, but as a sequel to an amazing first season, it's a bit disappointing. The characters even feel toned down, especially Diablo. This season, they for some reason nerfed him, which ruined the experience. The whole appeal of an OP protagonist is the fact that he is OP, so I don't know why this was deemed necessary. This season has him having a tougher time against his enemies, but he got better near the end which was weird. Also, three new girls in his harem, which I really liked. They also didn't outshine Shera or Rem, our OG best girls, but they do stand out well enough. The animation was disappointing, as it suddenly took a hit in quality just a few episodes in. This is a shame, but it doesn't really take anything from the experience so it's fine. Overall, a good sequel, albeit a bit disappointing. If you liked season one, you'll probably like this season, but not as much as the first season. Also, the best girls are now Shera, Rem, Horn, and Rose (sorry Lumachina fans lol).

You just have to love a show as unapologetic about its fan-service as How Not to Summon a Demon Lord. Achieving a comedic aspect trough predictability and shamelessness of its Ecchi scenes by means of self reflection, which makes this show stand tall above the genre. You wont like this show if u can´t handle this. For all the true gentlemen of culture this anime delivers a very enjoyable watching experience. The pacing is largely fast and fun, delivering its strong points in the complex, vast and creative world building and its characters. Personally I really enjoyed the combat system, the different spells, interactions, but also the equipment altering power and fighting styles. This is a strong pull for anyone who enjoys metagaming / theorycrafting in video games and d&d style role plays.

Second part of the isekai with waifus, the truth I was disappointed the protagonist expected him to be less virgin in the second season, but that did not happen. New girls are added this season. Half boring the season was made without any rampant progress, or interesting, the humor too Japanese but what bothers the most is that the protagonist is so virgin, go ahead, kid, put the whistle on the mines. He has some interesting fight but change he needs to kill his enemies or I do not know the truth I am very dissatisfied, if you are thinking of seeing this second season, better not see it and see something else for your sake. This of course if it will bother you the same as me, if you do not feel bothered by what I already mentioned, look at it calmly.

For a harem isekai anime it fits the bill quite nicely. One of the few harem animes that doesn't go to overboard with the fan service and does a well with an interesting fantasy story. The second season kept up well with the first season not losing its roots. It felt complete and filling as a second good story following a shut in summoned into his game. The characters felt fun and full of energy. Adding a few good ones, and some that doesn't stick around for too long. That also helps to give the story a good feel that there was some sort of progress made elsewhere and can affect something in the future. There were some good fight scenes too, ranging from some interesting strategies, and some big ass magic flying around. Not being a fight focused anime, having some of these scenes really made the anime pop at some good moments. I rate this a fairly good S2 anime. They did very well with it, and I feel a S3 would work out well if they follow through with the big bad hiding behind the scenes.

Recommendation: A shockingly good sequel to a first season that I thought was not good at all. I was sort of hate watching it at first but it was legitimately quite good and it turned out to be one of the sleeper hits of the season for me. If you liked season 1, or even didn't like it but watched it anyway, this season greatly improves on the original. I wouldn't say it's worth watching season 1 just to watch Omega, however. On a related note, Omega is not standalone, you do have to watch season 1 first. Omega is a significant leap forward for the series in terms of constructing an interesting plot, creating compelling villains, and developing Diablo as a character. Yes, there is an actual plot now. There are actual jokes too. The fanservice, while still ever-present, has been toned down to manageable levels so it no longer dominates the show. I can't tell you how surprised I was that this show managed to be good, it consistently exceeded expectations at almost every point. Especially in regards to Diablo, the main character, who has become one of my favorite isekai protagonists after this season. If you want the negatives, the most immediately noticeable one is the deterioration of the art and animation quality as a result of budget cuts and a studio change. I wouldn't say it looks bad, but the action sequences in particular lack some of the visual flair of the previous season. The really unfortunate part is the anti-seizure screen darkening, which is so dark that it makes every action scene look muddy. When there are battles in the dark, such as the one with Varakness's army, it becomes almost impossible to tell what's going on because the screen gets so dark. The other main flaw is that the main girls, Shera and Rem, largely get sidelined this season. They get their occasional moments to shine, but they are very much in the background compared to the new additions to Diablo's party, Lumachina and Horn. The side characters in Omega are significantly better than those in season 1, and get quite a bit of development actually, but it does come at the expense of Shera and Rem and that's a shame, since they're the originals and you hate to see them get lost in the shuffle as a whole mess of new characters get introduced. Still, it's a very entertaining series and a major improvement over season 1. The plot is simple but very fun, the new characters are great, and Diablo is very funny. There are a few other flaws with it, some of the fanservice is still too over the top and Diablo's incel rage at Varakness's harem during their battle was weird and off-putting, but overall, this series was fun and much better than I expected it to be.

I do not know why it's so dissed/underrated this S2 :/ Definitely one of the best ecchi harem best succeeded so far because it has combined important topics such as the faith and the superpowers of the mc in the isekai making the fanservice an integral part going hand in hand with the plot, the S2 anime counterpart - it is said around - is kinda rushed especially at the end but being in 10 eps everything is fictitiously decently, not to mention the fantastic opening & ending of/and voice actors' work! it was very pleasant and for sure it will be material for other seasons being not even halfway light novel in progress, so it will be an "Arrivederci" Diablo-sama! (vote 9/10)

Spoilers Present The show was not on same level like that of its previous season. I really started it because of how greatly the season 1 was portrayed, but this season lacked in many ways like: 1) The character design of the priest was a good idea, but the demon lord girl on the journey with diablo could have made a great pick. 2) Many fights really didn't made a great impression, but only showed how much over powered diablo is. 3) The last fight in last fight rendered diablo useless, which was really uncalled for as a person who single handedly defeated a fallen couldn't do anything against in last and even used up his all magic points. 4) The harem or erotica was really not needed as sometimes need a great story which was not there in this show. 5) The story as a whole didn't had much to offer. Overall there were many hints for new season, but if the story would be same like this, I would rather say don't release new season. Highly disappointed.

I quite enjoyed this second season of this dumb little ecchi show. While the first season was enjoyable in a very generic "guy gets ported to fantasy world, guy meets girls, guy is OP and girls swoon, story goes nowhere significant" which was fine and entertaining don't get me wrong, this second season actually builds on that story and gives me a central plot that I enjoyed following all the way through. Of course to many it's too risque, or vulgar but this is season 2 so that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone at this point. What appeals to me the most this time around is the action. Diablo goes from being so powerful that everything was pretty trivial to there being actual challenges that he has to face and even moments where he's sure to lose without the help of his waifus who actually manage to avail themselves a few times in significant ways. The action has weight, flash and style to it and the show is not afraid to show some absolute brutality at times too. The dungeon trek is hit or miss with parts that were just too over the top "anime" for me but the show handles it with self aware humor that I ended up at least being able to appreciate. The extra world building widens the scope of the fantasy world and makes the viewer feel more at home in it. The central plot leaves us with more to think about and be excited about for a possible season 3 and the main things that drew you to the first season are all still there. All in all, a fun time and at only 10 episodes long not a big ask if you've already seen the first season and enjoyed it.

How Not to Summon a Demon Lord was never a great anime, even though I did find the first season to be quite enjoyable. However, this season almost felt more like a movie than a second season. Most of what happened here felt more like a one-off tale that doesn't feel like it had any relation to what happened in season one, which actually shines a light on this anime's biggest issue: a lack of focus. Put simply, there are always too few obstacles that are too easily overcome whenever conflict happens in the story, which inherently leads to two things: 1. an unnecessary amount of forgettable villains and 2. the "big bad" villains are always lame, because no matter how much hype-sauce they're slathered in, you know that they'll maybe last two episodes at most. Regardless, lets dive in and analyze the rest of the problems, alongside a few positive notes: Story: 2, Obviously the matter that I just discussed, "too few obstacles that are too easily overcome", plays a heavy role in the score for story, but that only loosely glossed over the bigger issue: a lack of focus. To elaborate, What does Diablo (MC) want? Heck, what do any of them want beyond the events of the first season? I mean, really the only unifying wants we had season one were: 1. remove collars (this gets ignored because they decide they like the collars) 2. save rem 3. save shiro, and that basically sums up season one. This is a HUGE issue, why? Because it really gives us nothing to build on for season two, which is why it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone when I say things like, "this feels like a movie", because these two seasons feel completed detached from one another. Almost nothing in season one has any relevance in season two, and why is that, what is the focus of this season? Well, basically we meet some random girl in the woods who is crazy and thinks Diablo is God. Since people are trying to kill her, the group helps her, and that's literally what happens this season. Also, the first 7-8 episodes are just them running around stupidly (the only thing productive in any of this, is going to Diablo's dungeon), and they really could've just stormed the cathedral and beat-up the "big bad" of the season basically right away. I'm not saying the events of this season won't have future relevance in the story, but given the two seasons we've seen thus far, I'd say there's a pretty fair chance that it won't. Art: 8, There's really nothing different to mention here than what I said for season one, so ... "I wouldn't say there's anything spectacular about the art in this series, don't be expecting any beautifully animated scenes like you'd see in Demon Slayer, and other high-action series. On the positive side, the series keeps the quality of the art very consistent, which is something I always appreciate. A bit more work might've gone into the ecchi/fan-service scenes, after all, Shera's jiggly bits are, well, always jiggly." This is from my season one review, but I think it still accurately summarizes my feelings on the art of season two. Sound: 8, All of the OSTs serve their functions well, and I liked the OP for this season quite a bit. The ED on the other hand was "meh" for me personally, however I definitely preferred it over the ED used in season one. All the VA's did a pretty good job (English dub), but I wasn't really a fan of Horn's voice. Character: 4, Diablo is definitely our savior in regards to this category; just like in season one, diablo is a socially-awkward, self-proclaimed Demon Lord, and holding up that act whilst still being socially-awkward is of course, as hilarious as ever. However, outside of him, the rest of the cast this season is pretty worthless. The first, and perhaps the biggest, of our problems is Rem and Shiro who do absolutely nothing all season. I don't mean "they never help in fights" because they actually do that a couple times, but what I do mean, is they are both just there because diablo is and that's definitely the vibe you get. It feels like they just don't matter at all this season, which is ironic because MAL labels both of them as "main" while Horn (one of the new girls this season) is only labeled as "supporting" despite having much more importance within the season. However, despite her being more important, her entire existence feels unnecessary. First, she leads them to Diablo's dungeon, which he could've easily found himself, I mean he literally made the damn thing. Then, we find out that she isn't a boy (I'm only including this, because I had no idea that I was supposed to think she was a boy). Finally, she "rescues" everyone, as in tries to rescue, but then ends up getting beaten up so Diablo just breaks free, because he literally could've done that at any time. While Diablo spins the situation to say that her actions weren't worthless her entire character boils down to, "omg I always feel so worthless," and then everything we see her do makes us think, "but that's because you're worthless". Lastly, we have Lumachina, the character that this season focuses around, who is the basic beyond-pure character you've seen countless times, there's really nothing more to say about her. Ultimately the biggest issue in characters is that we already had a more than sizable cast by the end of season one, and instead of using this season to develop/grow existing characters, we instead waste it by just seeing how much we can expand the harem, and seeing how many minor-ass villains we can introduce just to kill off. Enjoyment/Overall: 6/6, I don't typically combine these two sections of my review, but really, my overall score and my enjoyment for this season were basically one in the same. What I mean is, the major difference between my enjoyment in season one and my enjoyment in season two, boiled down to the factors I've already listed in this review. Put simply, I spent a lot more time being critical of this season than the first and that boils down to the fact that this season is unfortunately worse in almost every way (if you're curious these are the way points changed: Story 6->2, Art 8->8, Sound 7->8, Character 7->4, Enjoyment 9->6, and Overall 8 ->6). If you liked season one, or you just have a thirst for Ecchi, then you'll probably get some entertainment out of this, but if season two is any sign of the future, then this series might just be a lost cause.

Poor Rem and Shera getting sidelined like that. Initially I enjoyed Rem's blaze attitude towards danger since she knows how powerful Diablo is, but her personality seemed subdued the further it went. This continuation is missing that spark of comedy and character from season 1, it feels almost as if the characters themselves weren't having fun. Like so many others, they piled on the extra characters too fast. The story itself felt aimless to me. There was a semi-obvious goal, but the show put little emphasis on why we should care. The animation while fine feels less adventurous. I don't really care about sound design so I can't say how much better or worse it is. It was a fun little adventure, but story-wise it felt pretty arbitrary.

This season was fairly disappointing tbh, I don't have much to say in this review so I'll get to it - I did really like the three new main female characters this season actually, they definitely carried the show in terms of my enjoyment along with the previous main girls. That's about all that stood out to me however, the story is pretty standard for your generic ecchi harem isekai and the art is nothing special too. I also wasn't a fan of the op or ed. I really have nothing to say, this was just a pretty mediocre season, probably worth watching if you've seen season 1 but I do remember enjoying season 1 a lot more.

I was looking forward to the season, but from the 5th episode the censorship started to generate a big change in the plot, the censorship R15 was a fiasco the work, important scenes ended up out, a boss that shouldn't even appear in this arc that doesn't even have a fight is just dialogue, the bathtub scene that serves to show Diablo's maturation beyond Rem's true personality lost all meaning with Shera inserted there as a form of censorship, unfortunately the mistakes were greater than the hits, it's a 4 for the wrong season , which had everything to be good but was a failure.

Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Ω (2021) Honestly, this was a show I really looked forwards to that has just got absolutely nothing on season 1. The first season was insanely good and so well structured for its style. This time it almost at the end felt like propaganda for religion and a harem taking on the form of a polyamorous relationship due to acceptance. The story isn't bad just a bit dragged out in places which is bad considering it was 10 episodes. At the same time, the ending was so rushed it made me wonder why they didn't have the two extra episodes. The artwork is a bit more rigid than before in some ways but great in others. It is definitely higher quality than before visually but it also doesn't have quite the same feel to it. The sound is good, the OP and ED felt a bit out of place and more of a pop song to an extent. The sound with magic is spectacular especially for things such as White Nova. Characters are expansive again since it is a different arc but at the same time, you don't really meet anyone that you really care too greatly about. You just know that many of the new ones will disappear since they are only part of this story. Edelgard as a character is amazing though especially with her voice but more how she has adapted her lifestyle. Rose is a great addition to the crew especially with her knowing what she is in relation to the world around her. The winged harem girl who isn't worth naming was pretty cool. Episode 5 was funny with the lewd prizes and outfits. Overall this season is more enjoyable than I expected it to be. It is however nothing to the first season so it is good but not at the same level. All that said I would enjoy another season coming forwards. Look forward to the extra episodes apparently uncensored. 7/10.

This anime is pretty straightforward, classic ecchi harem isekai. Its enjoyable if you don’t mind how stereotypical it can be at times. But since this is the second season, I guess you came here and know what you are dealing with. The action and plot are quite good and doesn't bore you. There are specific objectives for each episode, so the pace is very good as well. The bad guys are pretty flat& you know Diablo will win but somehow its interesting to see how. The humor is usually the same gag of the protagonist being an antisocial virgin losing it every time a female character tries to sleep with him which is often. The art is good making it pleasant to watch and the character designs are great. Speaking of characters, there are some new ones introduced. All are pretty well defined with their flaws but are a bit shallow past that. Personally, I enjoy a straightforward& ecchi show like from times to times to just enjoy mindlessly and this one fulfills this part well. Not going above and beyond but what it does is pretty entertaining.

The second season is a nice, kind of laid-back continuation of the first season. There may not be "do-or-die" action, but this is not that type of anime. We are here, after the first season, because we wanted to see some comedy, action, or maybe fanservice (which there is quite a lot of). My expectations were met because I knew there was nothing here worth an award, just a funny, relaxing experience. That's why I recommend this title to everyone who wants to see something without earth-shattering stakes, and especially for those who liked the first season. My overall rating is a 7/10, and it would be higher if the animation were just a little better. Nobody likes those single-frame shots where the camera just pans around.

The sequel to the anime about the most cowardly Demon King in isekai. Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Ω continues exactly where the first season left off: more comedy, more absurd situations, more exaggeration, and above all, much more ecchi. And honestly, that was to be expected. The second season clearly understands what the main appeal of the original work was and simply decides to amplify everything to the maximum. The anime continues to follow Diablo, the powerful "Demon King" who outwardly appears cold, arrogant, and absurdly dominant, but inside remains just an extremely shy and socially awkward guy desperately trying to maintain a persona all the time. And that remains easily the best part of the work. The protagonist's internal reactions are still very funny. Watching Diablo try to act like a true demonic sovereign while mentally collapsing continues to work very well as humor. The contrast between his intimidating appearance and his insecure personality is the heart of the series, and thankfully, this remains fun in this sequel. However, unlike the first season, there's a very noticeable problem here: the surprise factor has practically disappeared. In the first season, much of the charm came precisely from the novelty of the premise. The audience was still getting to know the protagonist, understanding his personality, and discovering how the anime played with classic isekai clichés. In the second season, the formula remains practically identical, but now without that initial impact. And that makes a big difference. Not that the second season is bad, far from it. It still manages to be quite entertaining at various points. The problem is that the work ends up becoming somewhat repetitive. Many jokes follow exactly the same structure as the previous season: Diablo tries to maintain his intimidating pose, panics internally, solves everything using his absurd power, and then ends up falling into some completely exaggerated ecchi situation. Does it work? Yes. But after a while, you start to clearly see the pattern. Another point that became even more evident in this season was the absurd increase in the focus on ecchi. The first season already had plenty of fanservice, but here it seems the producers really decided to double down on it. There are several scenes clearly designed to grab attention through sensualization and awkward situations. Personally, this didn't bother me because the anime never tried to hide that this was one of its main focuses. However, at the same time, I felt that the excess of ecchi ended up weakening the narrative a bit. At several points, it seems the story takes a backseat just to fit in more fanservice scenes. And honestly, I think this slightly undermines the balance of the work. The anime remains fun, but less narratively interesting than before. The feeling I had watching this second season was of seeing "more of the same," only with less impact and more visual exaggeration. Still, the protagonist's charisma manages to sustain a good part of the experience. Diablo continues to be a funny character precisely because he is completely socially incompetent despite being overpowered in combat. This duality still generates very good comedic moments. Visually, the season remains acceptable. There isn't an absurd leap in quality, but there isn't a significant drop either. The action scenes continue to work within the genre's premise, and the character design remains pleasing by genre standards. The biggest problem for me is really the natural wear and tear of the formula. This type of isekai usually works very well in a single season precisely because the premise is different and fun at the beginning. However, as new seasons emerge without significant changes, the work begins to become repetitive. And honestly, that was exactly the feeling I had watching this second season. The initial magic of the first season was very much linked to the unexpected humor and the protagonist's dynamic. When that ceases to be new, the series needs to find other ways to maintain the viewer's interest. Unfortunately, I felt that this continuation preferred to only increase the ecchi instead of further developing the narrative or the characters. Even so, I don't consider it a bad season. It's still a relatively fun anime to watch without commitment, especially for those who really enjoyed the first season and already know exactly what kind of experience they'll find here. I just wouldn't recommend watching both seasons in a row, because the repetition of the formula can get quite tiring. Overall, Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Ω remains a competent sequel within the work's premise, but clearly less impactful than its predecessor. My rating remains 6/10. However, if I were to compare them directly, I'd say the first season would be closer to a 6.8, while this second season would be around a 6.1. The difference is small, but noticeable enough to show how much the surprise factor made a difference to the experience.
