Someone actually sat down and made this. I get that it's a harem and an ecchi anime and all, but some parts are just irredeemably cringe. I've only seen two or three artistically good scenes, and the style is alright, but I feel like this anime was made using a checklist of tropes and a bad grasp of what actually goes on in the world. Stupid character design, and they all just felt flat. Can't remember a single one of them. Also, is the story meant to be based on an RPG or what? What the hell is going on? I don't want to say any more, it's not worth my time. It probably won't be worth yours either.

Main character wants to get stronger (and has all it takes to accomplish that), but when being strong actually matters...? He's just another common boy with a sword, support skills and ability to tell the obvious facts. Don't throw away all the character progression just because you want to make the opponent also seem strong. "Being creative" doesn't necessarily mean "come up with weird and unusual stuff". It also means "you can do anything that will help you". The harem aspect is just another "I don't want to hurt this girl's feelings... and this girl, and this one". Protagonist is being a pushover and all the girls are fighting for him with eachother. It's annoying.

This review is kind of late, but that in itself kind of explains my opinion of the show. Isekai aka reborn in another world is one of my guilty pleasures to watch. Although this isn't one technology, it follows the journey of the protagonist in a fantasy world of magic and all that stuff. Normally, I find most of these types of animes to be fine (6 or 5 on the rating, unless they are incredibly well-written or enjoyable such as the slime one or overlord.) My point is that even if they aren't well-written or enjoyable, I find them still to be a good pastime when I have nothing else to do or watch. However, there are a few things such make them unbearable to watch: annoying MCs and poorly-written shows. The MC in this anime is quite irrational, naive, unrealistic, and most importantly unrelatable. I feel like banging my head against the wall whenever he speaks. And, the show is so poorly-written, that I feel like I could have written a better story/plot in my high school years. There is little to no real plot and none of the events of the story feel meaningful or coherent whatsoever.

"Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon" or it's english title, "The dungeon only I can enter" is a ecchi harem series based on the Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Meguru Seto and illustrated by Note Takehana. The plot itself is very generic. I'm sure you all know the stereotype from isekais by now and this show practically embraces it. -Op main character -Lackluster and non-gripping conflict (I'm not too keen on this one as it is a slice of life but it's worth adding, I think) -Fanservice (While my teen self considers this a plus, I doubt many of you reading this will). -"Underdeveloped" main heroine (Get it? Because big booba in design but no big booba in writing :) -A plot that seems to be free-form at best -"Bold" decisions when it came to adding a loli into Noir's harem -Enemies that seem to exist to make the main character seem cool) And these are just my first impression on it. Now I'm not an idiot. You probably came here to see to titties flop and wish fulfillment and I get that. While I personally didn't enjoy this experience, judging by the fact that you're reading this review on MAL, you're probably already considering watching it anyway. and all I gotta say is that, yep, this is exactly what you're looking for (And by "what you're looking for" I mean a low-brow ecchi harem fantasy where a bunch of girls rag on an OP main character with a non-existent plot). 4/10

Only good thing is the art and animation. However the story is as generic as it can get. Holy shit it was so generic i predicted 5 episodes in a row. The unnecessary ecchi made it even worse. Up until like ep4 or 5 is the only time i didnt skip any parts. The comedy bit, art and animation is the only thing i focused on. Other than that too generic. As for the art it's a shame it had to be made for an anime with a dumb mediocre storyline and writing. The characters man i guessed their whole personality the second they were introduced. Especially the circle of girls around the main character. The main character with his god creation skills and getting a harem of girls that are like higher rankings which makes everyone else respect him or whatever shit is so bland. Having to kiss his friend and do these lewd things to gain LP is such a dumb concept. Having the great sage skill is just an excuse to skip the effort and time it takes for them to find something. At least make the main character feel defeat of failing to find something and make the effort to work his way up to his goal.

I found this anime to be around a 8/10 as it did have good story and character development and also the Cast of characters had very interesting traits that was unique upon most Fantasy anime's, The only problem I had though is the "Plot Armor" due to the things that if a thing in the anime's story goes wrong the main protagonist is so "weak" and "unstable" and then two seconds later they Either somehow get through the problem or just become absolutely for like half the episode and then basically don't do the same thing, But i get determination stuff and all that, But to be honest it is a awesome anime to watch, i sadly went through it in one day and yeah overall 8/10.

I initially enjoyed this series quite a lot, as it started pretty wacky and went straight to the point – it nearly opens with a full-on kissing scene and rarely slows down, with the protagonist being a willing participant and at times active instigator of ecchi, rather than a clueless blob. That's refreshing, and combined with decent production quality and some fairly smart world-building, it felt like it was going to be some highly inappropriate, but consistent fun... ...and it was, up to around episode 6, when the show felt the need to suddenly transition into serious storytelling. And honestly, it mostly sucks at that. With dramatic subplots, less humour and less creative fanservice, it quickly started losing its initial charm and by the last act, I was rather indifferent/bored by it. It also, in a typical harem fashion, wouldn't stick with the main three girls that got introduced early on with decently defined personalities and backstories, but continued adding paper-thin characters without any chemistry with the protagonist. People say that this show is at least self-aware and embracing its own trashiness, but if that was really the case, I would rate it higher. If it stuck to comedy and continued pushing the fanservice in creative directions (there are still some crazy scenes in the later episodes, but not that many), it'd probably keep me entertained until the very end. But it had to transition into high stakes drama and action, all done decently enough, but utterly mundane and clashing with the show's initial tone. In the end, it was mostly disappointing, just like the medium score suggested – might be still worth it for those initial laughs, but overall, you won't lose much by skipping it. Edit: Oh, and I guess both the OP and ED were pretty nice, while the production quality felt very consistent. Thus, 5/10, although it really had the chance to be much higher...

Okay so, i know i'm gonna get many hates for this but, i actually enjoy this anime. When i saw the first few episodes i thought this is gonna be some Danmachi rip-off shit. But turned out it actually pretty good! Well actually this is pretty boring story, like an average adventure-harem anime. But the first season of this anime is really good, felt like watching Arifureta but better. Here's my point: 1. This is anime is actually pretty shit at the first, but when i continue watching the anime it's actually not that trash. 2. There's something catchy about this anime, and im glad they had that in this anime. Because i can't remember anime that just pure trash. Thanks for reading my review!

according to the expected genre this is enough good. But unfortunately it's still not brave enough to show its ecchi level. What I mean is less vulgar, but overall it's quite comfortable and pleasant to watch. What I like is that it is not verbose where the essence of the expected scenes must be there and fast. Not too much long dialogue, and straight to the point. In some fight scenes, there is a lack of animation but enough to be enjoyed, I mean the essence of the story is the fan service. But of course it builds the story well so that from the beginning to the ending it is good and suitable. The music is pretty good and I got a lot of konosuba vibes on the intro. This anime fits the genre's expectations and is fun enough to be enjoyed and the story is really light and not burdensome. Lots of funny scenes that suit the perverted humor and are hilarious.

I don't know why I watched this. It was basically trash ecchi harem animei for people with trash taste (like me). It is full of gratuitous shots and has a lot of cringe worthy moments. The show was basically an exercise in getting the MC, whose name I can't even remember, into lewd situations. There was little to no character development but it was well drawn. The jiggle physics are probably not that accurate. The voice actors and animators did a good job with what they had to work with. 5/10 in terms of "good" anime but a solid 6.9/10 for trash anime.

Story: 4/10 Art: 6/10 Sound: 7/10 Character: 5/10 Enjoyment: 3/10 Overall: 4.5/10 Very disappointing show if you ask me. Does it have it's pros? Yes, but most of them are pretty minor & a lot of what I could've liked in this show just ended up being wasted potential. I like the characters (especially Nior) even though they are cliché characters, they are likeable nonetheless, Nior is a very innocent & wholesome dude & that's what I like about him. The characters that I don't like are the other male students, because they are portrayed so poorly as typical horney teens who don't give a damn about nothing else, & it was so stupid. The opening theme is mediocre, but at least it doesn't hurt to listen too, the ending theme on the other hand is very pleasant to hear. Every now & then, there will be little elements in episodes or little shits & giggles that I really fuck with, but they aren't really much to write home about. I would've liked episode 10 if it didn't tease the hell outa me with all the goddamn steam in da way, which left me in a bad mood, so that was wasted potential for sure. I like the LP concept, & although its executed kinda weirdly, I can get over that fast. But I think the part that left me unimpressed the most to even calling this show bad is the boring ass executed fan service, but if your the type of person who enjoys fan service no matter what, than this is the anime for you. But if your someone who has standards like me when it comes to fan service & ecchi scenes, than I suggest you just stay the hell away from this one. Overall, it was simply a bad, disappointing, big ass time waster, but at least it wasn't a dumpster fire like Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-Kun.

A garbage anime so bad it made me write my first review. The anime is full of plotholes, inconsistencies, frustratingly stupid decisions by the characters and it seems to forget things that have happened in the previous episodes such as the reward money for saving the dukes daughter, are you telling me that it's impossible to get a shop location with 100 million units of currency?, and when the MCs family does get a location it costs 20k rent, assuming it is monthly and not annual they would be able to rent it for close to 417 years based on the reward alone. The MC also barely uses his personal dungeon and is constantly shocked by the levels of others, man, you literally have a dungeon at your disposal go grind a bit, there is also no explanation on what the level actually does and everything seems to depend on skills instead. As much as I like the "overpowered MC" anime genre I cannot find a single positive thing about this particular one. Each episode just made me want to lower the score more and I had to stop multiple times every episode due to the frustration and cringe it made me feel. There isn't even any comedy to counterract the lack of writing in this one.

There are Animes that create a story and then continue to add Fanservice and then there are Animes where the basis is the Fanservice and you add the story later. Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon is definitely the latter, but it's well aware of that and therefore is able to keep up with a pretty good sense of Humor. If you just want to watch something with Waifus, boobs and some comedy in it and don't expect too much animation etc. This is pretty much it. The story is a solid 6/10 the characters are like a 7/10 but overall if you just want some ecchi to kick back and laugh at this is pretty much what you're searching for.

This is a show that had a great premise and really really poor execution. In fact, I only made it through the 12 episodes by sort of skip forwarding through the last 3. I wanted to see the ending but it was just dragging a bit. I want to be clear: I LOVE trash fantasy/isekai anime with OP characters, fan service etc. I mean, who doesn't want to just turn their brain off and enjoy a good romp through a fantasy world with low stakes and power fantasy. Life is rough, enjoy some anime! But the plot and MC in this story were just frustratingly bad that it made it difficult to enjoy what should have been a by-the-numbers OP fantasy story. with a fun premise. The biggest problem with Hidden Dungeon is that it doesn't really have a coherent plot. I have no idea if this is just an adaptation problem, but it just seems all over the place. Almost every episode seems like a "filler" episode. Now, sometimes it can be fun to have a fantasy/adventure anime where it's just mini adventures all the time, but if that's what they were going for, they did it poorly. It always felt like there was supposed to be a story arch and character development and there was just none of that. The second and arguably equally biggest problem with Hidden Dungeon is that we have an EXTREMELY OVERPOWERED character who uses his skills very poorly. He almost literally has the power of a God, able to change anything at his will and gain any knowledge in the world, and yet, whenever he faces a problem, he never uses these God-like abilities to his advantage, and when he does use them, it's in the dumbest most limiting way possible. You can't give a character near-godlike power and have the limiter be his own ineptitude and lack of creativity in using it (especially with a power literally called "Get Creative"). The show tells you that the limiter is that he has to have a certain amount of special "points" to use the ability and depending on how he uses it, it costs more and more of these points, but these points are so insanely easy to get for him that, again, it makes him extremely OP, and therefore the author chose to limit him by just making him dumb. And he's not even dumb in an endearing way. It just leaves you wanting to yell at the character through the screen as you come up with hundreds of ways you could solve his problems easily. Writing overpowered characters in a good way is hard, no doubt, it's a balancing act because if your character is just always going to win with no problems, then you need another way for the story to be interesting. But it can be done, and in fact has been done in many other fantasy stories. Hidden Dungeon just failed at this. My opinion, it's too frustrating to watch so I really wouldn't recommend it even as a binge. I highly doubt it'll get a second season (but what do I know). Even the fanservice isn't worth it.

Pardon my english. Animations were great, sounds and musics are also good, but unfortunately there are more disappointing stuff than the great stuff. Plot is very predictable. Feels like a lot of part are referenced from other magical fantasy series. And not to mention, too much cliché. The MC's power just doesn't feel right. I understand that the writer wants to give the MC an OP power, but there are so little information about the power. And the strength are also not balanced. Opponent with like a hundred level above the MC got defeated so easily. Really disappointed. But there are also some funny scene that i actually enjoy. So for my honest review, i'll give it a 3/10

tl;dr mediocre time filler It's clear from the first minutes of episode one that Kakushi Dungeon isn't asking the viewer to take it seriously. It's there to make you smile sometimes, laugh sometimes, and cringe sometimes. Plot, meaning, and character development if they exist (spoiler they really don't) would simply be icing on the cake of unexpected ecchi moments and harem-y interactions. So, in that regard, Kakushi Dungeon does O.K. The MC is unmemorable sure, the typical "imma save everyone" MC. None of the girls are quite unique either. But thankfully the MC and his harem is at least morally sound. The only real gripe I have is the side characters who aren't really in the harem are also smooching this man all over the place; I think that was more distracting than beneficial. Kakushi Dungeon does nothing right yet it does nothing wrong either. Thus, simply average-ish is the best score I can give it.

Overall rating: 4/10, Watch if you're bored and multi-tasking. This show did seem to have potential initially, but it's got a frustrating way of sidestepping issues that could lead to character development and plot progression. The MC never really needs to commit to anything. The only two times in the plot he actually made a serious effort, he did seem to show some minor growth, but the rest of the time he's dull and slow-witted. The skill the MC is granted is quite interesting, and is limited by his 'life-points' and his creativity. So we could have seen him be really smart using his powers. To be fair, once or twice he seems to come close to this. But he often just brushes up against restrictions and opportunities that we, the audience, never knew existed. I personally felt that this ruined the immersion of the show for me. I need to understand the interior logic of this world if I am to steep myself in it. The girls are all boring cliches. This was expected, of course, but it is still disheartening. The music and animation were likewise average. They neither wowed me nor upset me. I just didn't notice anything sticking out. The single best character in this show is the sensei. And we would all be better off if this show featured her as the MC. Obviously, this anime interested me just enough to keep me watching each week, even if I did fast forward through occasionally. But the lazy ending in which the MC defeats the villain through a method unknown that is basically akin to deus-ex-machina drops the score for me to a 4. Had the show been properly funny I may have scored it higher, but it lacks even in that department. It's just sub-par on all counts.

This was the horniest show of the season, which is an impressive feat, considering it aired alongside Mushoku Tensei. Classic ecchi harem-fest that doesn't delivery anything exceptional in story, action, humor, or visuals. This is a thoroughly functional anime at best. It would be as average and common as white bread except that even it's limited action sequences are poorly choreographed and animated. I cannot post this review unless it is longer, and yet, there is nothing more to say about this anime. It is unremarkable, uninspired, and is shameless. I do not wish to expand further as doing so would imply the show is worse than it actually is. The show is not bad per se, it is simply lacking in merit compared to the deluge of other content that is available.

I just had to write a review on this because I've never seen anything like it. Watching this is pure torture. I can't actually explain how painfully unfunny and boring this show was. The animation quality was atrocious. Proportions were all over the place most of the time with characters eyes having the wrong depth and being placed incorrectly on the face. Overall, very simple and low quality animated interactions and effects, and there was a massive amount of scenes with lingering animations that just made me want to throw up. The character designs were stupid and uninspiring. Basic harem, all the girls like the guy and they have big boobs, they all have fighting will and strength that pales in comparison to everything else thus meaning the main character has to carry the weight most of the time. The coolest character was the black lion with the tulip on his head who served absolutely NO purpose except to be part of one scene of a pointless story arc that led to nothing, he was just cool looking and had a nice voice. One girl was added to the harem at the END of the show and I was just sitting there wondering: "ok... who is this anyways and why is she here?". The writing was absolutely AWFUL. So many story arcs that could have led to something actually interesting that were just randomly cut off for no reason. A lot of going into the dungeon and skipping around to different floors for specific reasons, never showing the process or anything interesting. The main character's powers were based off of having to sacrifice life points to use them; life points were earned when he engaged in sexual acts with girls. The main character was always limited thinking up ways to conserve his life points while also defeating the enemy, thus never doing anything actually cool; it was all just doing the bare minimum change to an enemies status that gave him the edge in battle. All the while, he COULD be doing interesting things if he just did more sexual things with the girls but he couldn't because "I'd never do something that embarassing/bad!" even though were talking about a life or death situation. I can't express enough how much of a shitter this one was. If anything above seemed interesting in the slightest, I promise you that it really isn't. You WILL be bored watching this and you'll lose your sanity if you watch it through to the end like I unwillingly did.

Well... This series has been interesting. The first few episodes were eh, the last episode? Wow!!! It was just awesome! Seriously, like why couldn't they do that in the first few episodes? Like people would have rated it better. The first few episodes was just harem, which I kinda don't like, but the last episode? Damn! The story was the same as every other harem. The guy gets the girls to like him, and par them off like their nothing. However, there is a twist, the first episode, the girl best friend makes out with him, because he has headaches when he uses a power. The sound design and voice actors were good. Kinda didn't like the breast movement sound effect every single time they moved. The character development was alright too. They really need to put in the Princess a bit more though, like the two or three episodes she was in wasn't enough. I liked it, and I can't wait for the second series to be announced!
