My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising - Epilogue Plus

This epilogue felt like a good send-off for the side characters and island in general introduced in the second MHA movie. Basically, a picture drama cycling through all of those Goodbyes, giving us a peek at the aftermath of what happened on the island. It was a bit hard, I don't know how they do it, but My Hero Academia is really good at selling you off these arc-tied characters, even for the 2 hours length we spent with them, Mahoro and get brother really felt like they were there to stay. All in all could have been better, presentation-wise, I'm not the biggest fan of picture dramas, but I have seen some better ones for sure. For anyone wondering, think of picture dramas as slideshows with voiceover.

It's a decent little extra, but honestly I didn't find it that memorable. I enjoyed seeing the characters again and getting a bit more content after Heroes Rising, but it didn't really give me the same excitement as the actual movie. There were a few fun moments, especially seeing everyone interact outside of the usual serious situations. Still, I felt like this was more of a bonus for MHA fans rather than something that really needed to exist. It's fine for what it is and I didn't regret watching it, but I wouldn't say it's something you need to go out of your way to watch.

My Hero Academia the Movie 2: Heroes: Rising – Epilogue Plus – Making Dreams a Reality This special episode serves merely as a brief epilogue to Heroes: Rising, but, honestly, it is far from essential viewing. In practice, it is an extra aimed at those who want to consume absolutely everything related to the franchise, as its contribution to the main story is virtually non-existent. The biggest issue lies in how the special was produced. Instead of featuring actual animation, it uses a sequence of still images accompanied by dialogue, feeling much more like a narrated slideshow than an anime episode. This makes for a rather unengaging experience, giving the impression of material created simply to complement the movie's release, without much creative effort. As for the content, there are no major events either. The narrative boils down to conversations between Deku, Bakugou, and the children introduced in the film. The dialogue serves only to show a bit of what happened after the final events, offering a calmer, more relaxed conclusion. It is a nice moment for those who enjoyed those characters, but it adds no truly important information, does not significantly develop the protagonists, and offers no revelations relevant to the franchise. That doesn't mean the special is bad; it simply plays a very modest role. For the most dedicated fans, it might be pleasant to spend a few more minutes with those characters and see a small resolution to the adventure. However, anyone who chooses to skip it won't miss out on anything regarding the Heroes: Rising experience. Personally, I watched it just to complete my list of My Hero Academia animations. It wasn't content I was particularly eager for, and in the end, I was left with exactly the impression I expected: totally optional material created solely to offer fans a few extra minutes. Overall, I consider it a neutral experience. It isn't bothersome, but it doesn't deliver anything memorable either. If you are a franchise completist, it is worth checking out just to say you’ve seen it all. Otherwise, you can skip it without a second thought, as the film already wraps up its story satisfactorily on its own. Raiting: 5/10. Nota: 5/10.
