On paper, it sounds like a typical Isekai Ecchi Harem anime. Usually these end up pretty trashy and bland, but I found myself enjoying it. MC is the typical loser who gets isekai'd, along with his schoolmates, and becomes the OP hero kind of character, but he doesn't seem as generic or bland as the majority of these characters turn out to be. He is separated from the others and is given an extra, special skill due to the "god"(or whatever force isekai'd them) feeling bad for him and then he essentially develops a harem through mostly happenstance. The other characters are fairly well-developed, apart from the other "main" schoolmates who only get a handful of scenes about what's going on with them. I don't even know their names or how to relate to the MC. They seem to be concerned he got separated, but that's about it. I'm not even sure if they were friends or not as the show starts with MC getting bullied and then everyone gets isekai'd. The fun part of the show consists of the general adventures and scenarios MC runs into trying to survive in the world, as well as developing his harem/friends. I'm so glad he isn't oblivious to the female characters affections and actually reciprocates or at least acknowledges them, which I appreciate since it's so annoying when MC Hero just ignores it or shuts it down yet they still follow him around. Overall, I feel like the characters are mostly fun with interesting scenarios and things going on. The humor doesn't solely rely on the ecchi crap, which is nice. There are some underdeveloped tertiary characters and plots going in the background, but overall I enjoyed the first season enough to give it a recommendation.

its fine, don't get worked up about it. This seems like its mocking other isekai anime, you can feel that right away. idc, its whatever it feels like some generic spit out anime, I watched it just to watch something, it wasn't the most trashy trash, but it wasn't the tastiest trash either. If you enjoy stuff that doesn't make your brain work at all, then you should most definitely watch this, I highly recommend this for you dudes. Its no slideshow, more like a show made with slides n other stuff I gotta fill some space soooo Is the story unique? If it was predictable, did you enjoy it anyway because you like this genre/set-up? Do you think the art style is fitting for the story? Were the characters well-rounded? Did they have flaws and strengths, or were they unusually strong/smart/stupid? 'The Fruit of Evolution' is surprisingly enjoyable: it's light-hearted fun in a fantasy world that knows when to use an anime trope and when to subvert it. You'll laugh at the joke, and you'll laugh that they even made the joke. I think it has a lot of heart, and it might surprise you more than once with a serious moment. But the show doesn't really find its footing until episode two, so you have to give it a chance; you can probably give up if you're not having a good time by the end of episode six (which is delightful). The competent storytelling may come as a relief to fans of fantasy and romantic comedy. The characters behave consistently. The jokes land. The serious moments don't contradict the levity. There's no time-wasting tournament arc. The story keeps moving forward at an appropriate pace without feeling like it's checking off boxes. You can generally count on 'The Fruit of Evolution' to do the obvious right thing. The first episode is the weakest: the comedy isn't supported by character development yet, so it feels a bit too silly. Also, instead of telling the story in order, it starts in the middle of the action, then switches to a lengthy flashback: you see this a lot in anime, I never like it, and I think it was an especially bad choice here. Still, I'm glad I stuck with it. The animation is serviceable, but I don't really care about that: I just want to see fun, well defined characters interact in entertaining ways, and I'm willing to overlook a lot of technical details. The voice acting is pretty good, the music is fine, and the English subtitles have to be taken with a grain of salt, all of which is normal. The overarching plot is mysterious by design; sometimes it's well integrated into the episode, and sometimes we just cut to the villains being villainous for some reason. Either way, it was enough to get me invested, and I'm looking forward to watching the whole season, however ridiculous it gets. I'm happy to rate 'The Fruit of Evolution' generously.

Not well done. Not at all. Characters... meh. The animation, terrible(much like my grammar). The plot, unique, but lame. First couple episodes were okay- first episode was actually GOOD, but then it got so much worse. The main character is so annoying and lame, like bro. It feels like some terrible author came up with him. Like the author/writer of the anime didn't even try. I won't say the original is bad or the author isn't talented as I've not read the original but the anime... no. If you're really bored, I guess you MIGHT be able to watch it, barely, but yeah. Not my favorite anime, that's for sure.

*minor spoilers ahead* This is the probably the most ridiculous and stupid show I've ever watched. Don't expect any story because the one thing that should have a major story driver, the MC reuniting with his classmates, seems to have been saved for season 2. The MC is so ridiculously OP that absolutely nothing can touch him. I don't personally have a problem with OP characters, but Seiichi's skills literally leave him unable to be harmed even if he tried to let someone harm him. He also forms a harem that's basically a zoo since half of the girls are animals (and a cat girl) that magically turned human. Everything about this anime seems it was intentionally designed to be as idiotic as possible, and I suppose it accomplished that goal. That's really all to say about this anime. However, despite how stupid and ridiculous this anime is, it's somehow still pretty enjoyable to watch. So, go watch this anime if you're willing to turn your brain off and indulge yourself in some idiotic fun!

This anime is an embarrassment to isekai genre, because of titles like those there's so much hate on this genre and I'm not surprised. In terms of story there is no story and i couldn't tell if they tried to go for comedy or harem either way it wasn't funny, the amount of cringe I had to go through just because i hate dropping anime got me sick and really tried to understand that some people may like it but I don't see it, it's horrible in every aspect maybe aside from animation because you can't really go wrong with that. There is too much fan service to the point that you get sick of it and every character has to blush every time they appear on the screen, voice actors are beyond annoying and I feel bad for the good va's that had to go with this horrible script so please don't watch it if you value your time and mental stability.

(tl;dr at the bottom) I want to give this show some justice because I feel it is probably a lot better than what a lot of people would initially think. I knew nothing about this show when I started to watch it. When I saw the cover art the only thing I could think was "This show looks really stupid, let's watch it." and honestly it kinda was, in a good way. I'm not here to white knight this show because it has flaws and its not going to be for everyone but I would like to leave a more balanced and fair review than what I've been seeing as of late. Very light/insignificant spoilers inside. The first thing I want to say is that you can't really compare this show to other isekais because it has it's own little thing going on. And second, I'm not a huge fan of isekais in general. They need to be pretty well made. Keep in mind I almost dropped this show after episode 2 and I don't regret sticking with it. For starters, if you take this show seriously, YOU. ARE. DOING. IT. WRONG. I feel like this show is kind of a gem, in my opinion even though there's very little story and basically no character development. This show is more of a comedy series than anything else and it shows in how the episodes are written. The show is a lighthearted fun time. I would almost put the humor close to the same level as Gintama, a little lower brow. Its lighthearted and easy to watch, perfect show for a bad mood pick me up. The characters are kind of adorkable but can be a touch annoying at times. I really enjoyed how the show just instantly gets the typical isekai tropes out of the way so you can just enjoy the show for what it is: pointless, fun entertainment. There's a light 'story' going on through the episodes but nothing really seems to come of it. Now, here's what I didn't like because even if I to like a show, I will be more than happy to point out the many flaws it has. First problem, as mentioned earlier, the story is almost non-existent. It teases a few times like something really exciting is going to happen and then you're back to the pointless comedy and it can get frustrating. The story has potential but it just wasn't paced well enough to get you hooked in a meager 12 episodes. Speaking of 12 episodes, I feel like this show would have been immensely better if there were more episodes to give more time to really get the story rolling. There is literally no character development that I could tell and if there was, I didn't notice it. Oh, and the ending really made my blood boil because I know it could have been WAY more satisfying. Even with all of that, I would still happily recommend it. There's a few more things that I liked and disliked about the show but for the sake of not writing a book I'll wrap up here. It really boils down to how serious you take this show. If you watch it with an open mind and don't mind a few (a lot) of funny but super cringey moments then I genuinely think you'll enjoy this show. Just make sure not to put it on too high a pedestal and for the love of what ever you believe in don't compare it to other shows. All that does is take the fun out of it and just skews your opinion of the show in an unfair and easily preventable way. Just have fun with it. -tl;dr- The show is more of comedy. Don't take this show seriously, just have fun with it. Story is heavily lacking and character development is almost non-existent. Something you watch for lighthearted fun, not engaging story and amazing action scenes. Basically makes fun of all other isekais without making it overly obvious. Also has some really good social learning points.

HELL YEAH ISEKAI ANIME, YOU'RE EXCITED RIGHT?! RIGHT?! When I first watched the trailer of this anime, I thought it has interesting premise, get isekai'd and got gorilla as waifu. I thought it would be a funny isekai comedy, but boy oh boy, Did I expect to much from isekai anime. This anime has a lot of problem both on technical problem and story problem. First of all, the story, I think you can give an aspiring novelist or a highschooler to write story better than this crap, this anime don't know where to take the story. In one episode they introduce new character, next episode introduce new character again, and guess what in the next episode? New harem girl unlocked again. boy oh boy, would I be delighted to be the mc of this anime. new harem girl every episode? heck yeah buooooy. And another note, this anime always joke around themselves every episode, cool, must be funny right? yeah it's funny on the FIRST EPISODE ONLY AND THEN USE THE SAME JOKE OVER AND OVER AGAIN, the joke is really cringey, the delivery is bad, the animation doesn't help either. Okay, moving on from the atrocity of the story, lets talk about character shall we? Here, we have Hiiragi Seichi: a fat loser in real life that got isekai'd and have OP power just from eating big nuts (yeah, big nuts of evolution that produce c*m if you eat it and level upgrade). Wooah the dream of otaku right?. This mc doesn't have any depth at all, he's just making random faces that's so ambiguous that you don't even know what the heck is he feeling, is he scared? is he horny? or maybe scared and horny?. Even in the span of 12 episode He doesn't get a character development in the slightless at all nor he posses qualities that makes him good or different from trash isekai mc. The Others character aren't any different, Saria the gorilla after becoming a girl, become simp to mc, Big titties tomboy girl become simp to mc, The donkey MC bought? simp, the knight? Simp, The loli girl? you guessed it simp. oh my oh my the dream of otaku that never touched grass. Even if we cast it all of these problem aside, there is still problem you can spot. Yes, the animation is FUGGING HORENDEOUS, It's like every scene is animated by different animator without proper coordination, you can notice every quality drop when the scene changes, heck the faces of MC sometimes look like kirito, or orimura ichika, or shiba tatsuya depending on the qualities of the animation. Every movement in this anime is pretty limited and toned down to basic that looks like my college assignment in animation, Facial expression is fugging ambiguous, you can't tell at all what really happens, the atmosphere doesn't really change even in critical situation, the bgm is almost the same everytime. There is almost no redeeming qualities of this anime, not even the OP and ED, Maybe they shoul allocate their budget into the animation instead of hiring Shimono Hiro and Hanazawa Kana as Voice actors, which still doesn't help the anime, the voice acting still sucks because of how horrible the lines and story is. Final verdict: The trash anime that every otaku who never talk to girl will like. 1/10

well to be honest it is boring in middle of the episode and so forth, but the thing i enjoy about this anime is the comedy, which cover up the missing things. i mean this anime is suppose to be a comedic purpose so i dont really expect much of the story, but for enjoyment ? its enjoyable i would rather this kind of anime to change of pace bcs what ? most of the anime isekai is full of boring things like saving princess over and over again, like man.. dont u have some interesting story to make beside that ? because most of the time saving princess or white knight thing in anime is BORING for me, bcs theres literally too many of them. i even kind of stopping watching anime because of these kind of anime really boring, so i would rather watching some comedic with love or harem in it is kind a rare that make them a masterpiece rather than boring white knight anime. so what i can say about this anime is, the idea good but lack of decent story. it purpose is for comedic yes, but more story telling is more enjoyable. i hope theres still another season and it improving, and i kind a feel like the anime kind a in rush so.. thats another thing that need to be fix..

First of all, I don't have a problem with the fact that this is another Isekai but let me tell you something before you start watching I wanted to drop this series after the second episode, after the first episode it seemed like an average Isekai maybe with a interesting idea, but nope it is just pathetic. The story is the same as always, characters development are so bad and annoying, even the sounds are bad, I had not laugh, I got cringe. I just finished it of pure curiosity, how bad can it go. Overall I do not recommend watching this anime, is a waste of time.

TLDR at bottom of review. The big problem with this show, is it moves too fast when it comes to everything. I feel every episode needed 3 episodes to actually explain everything. Everything story wise, and character development wise is just a little rushed. This show is obviously not an in depth anime at this moment. The story is... Well they have a target audience, and they are trying to hit them hard with an easy "life". I have not read anything but this is pretty much a prequel arc as far as I can tell on to the main story, just to get all the characters into a position where you know them. The art is good, they did a great job on all of it. The character designs are all great, the location art is great, the only place they kind of dumbed things down is the monster/enemy art but that is ok most of them only last 3 seconds anyways. No problems with sound, but nothing particularly stands out. I liked the voice actors, nothing was out of place. There are even a few Easter eggs on the soundboard. Characters. Ima be honest with ya- We got about three seasons worth of character growth and learning to put into 12 episodes. In other words, it needed more to show characters grow. As for all the main female leads falling in love with the mc withing seconds(hyperbole) Yeah it feels fast, but that is some what mitigated when you see they put in a "Charm" stat which is for full comedic effect beyond reasonable. Enjoyment. Aside from the times where I thought, It would be nice if we had a few episodes for this character to be introduced, or for this plot line to play out, and a few moments of other stuff going too fast, it was pretty funny and enjoyable. TLDR I think what people are missing about this show is that it is an over the top parody, where the characters take their goals seriously. This show is not taking itself seriously but MC is. Everybody is a parody. Everything over the top is done on purpose. Everything Generic is done on purpose. Once I realized that, the show was really funny.

So with total honesty if you want to watch an isekai like this you might as well go and watch Arifureta as this seems like the more watered down version. With that out of the way, this anime was not the best but it also could have been much worse. Basically like most isekai anime, the main character is well... isekai'd obviously as well as the rest of his class. After being isekai'd he becomes insanely powerful and like I said basically follows the plot of Arifureta from there on. If you like some waifus without much character development then definitely watch Shinka no Mi. Now onto the bad parts. Basically there is no real plot that is followed and this series is just a bunch of random events one after another. If you don't like plot then definitely watch this. When going into this though don't expect any character development or any real good comedy as the only laughable thing is the story. So basically if you don't like a well written anime then definitely go and watch this. Though I mainly just gave bad parts of this you can at least go in and find a potential waifu though they are pretty disappoint. Hopefully this review was helpful and hopefully if you do go and watch Shinka no Mi, you aren't too disappointed while watching.

I was surprised when I saw so many negative reviews of this anime. It's an anime that I th oroughly enjoyed. It's honestly one of the best Isekai in recent years, although I suppose that's not saying much considering the embarrassingly low bar for the genre. This year in particular was great for Isekai, there was this, World's Finest Assassin Reincarnated as an Aristocrat, Mushoku Tensei: Jobeless Reincarnation, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2, and The Faraway Paladin. And out of all four of them, I do think it's the worst, but it's still a good show, and worthy of your consideration. Of course it's not flawless, because no anime is, and I will highlight the problems that I found, but they come nowhere close to outweighing the positives. First of all, I love the protagonist, Seiichi. On the surface he seems like the generic Isekai protagonist, but there are several things that sets him apart. While he seems naive, he's not stupid, and makes many intelligent and rational decisions in the series. He's kind hearted and wants to protect the weak, but he understands his own limitations and doesn't go head first into danger without aid. This is especially seen when he saved the assassin girl from being bondage tortured for information by one of the Valkyries. He didn't go to save her himself, he enlisted the head of the Valkyries, Louise. That actually brings up one of my issues, in that it didn't make much sense that she helped him. Louise seemingly knew what the torturer was all about, that she was going to, indeed, brutally starve and whip this young girl, but she let her go through with it without a word of complaint. But then, she helped Seiichi save her. Not only that, but Seiichi, despite being told point blank that she was a bondage master, didn't voice any complaints either. Don't get me wrong, i"m glad that they saved her, and the woman was punished for going that far, but it was still kind of strange. I also like that Seiichi entered into an official polyamorous arrangement with both Saria and Altria. Polyamory isn't my thing, I wouldn't want one of those myself, but I do think that Polyamory should be represented and normalized more in anime. Maybe not official marriage in modern settings, at least not yet, as you can't legally marriage multiple people in modern days in any major country, but at least in spirit, like devoting yourself to multiple people. It hink that's very interesting. However, the few we're getting now seem to just be in fantasy anime, which is acceptable as well. Mushoku Tensei is gonna have that in the future, and this series has that as well. I think this pushes the relationship a little ways beyond the standard fanservice-centered harem, and into something more official and emotional. Both Saria and Altria love Seiichi with all their hearts, and Seiichi loved them both equally, so it was the only arrangement that made sense, and it was handled very tastefully. That doesn't mean that there isn't a harem in the series. Louise, the head of the valkyries, is part of his harem, as is the young assassin girl that he saved, because there always has to be a damn loli, doesn't there? But I still think there's more to this than just a standard harem, even if elements of that are still present in the series. However, the absolute best element in the series has to be the humor. I like that a lot of recent Isekai try and play up the humor aspect more than anything else. It probably started with Konosuba, and while I don't think any of the others are nearly as amazing as that one, it's still refreshing. Considering how unbelievably oversaturated that Isekai is in 2021, it's nice to see Isekai anime that dont' take themselves incredibly seriously and just want to entertain you, to make you laugh. Hell, episode 1 builds a romantic relationship between a human, (Seiichi), and a Gorilla, (Saria), and ends with a kiss between the two. I laughed my ass off due to how seriously the music, voice acting, and animation was trying to take it in spite of how ridiculous it was in reality, and i'm almost certain that this was the intended reaction. After that, Saria transforms into a human form, and at first, I thought the series was gonna go down hill. And while nothing was as funny to me as that moment, it still kept me entertained throughout the duration of it. While I would have preferred if Saria remained a Gorilla all the time, she is able to transform back into a Gorilla whenever she wants to, which makes it a little bit better, and even when she's not a Gorilla, she's still extremely funny and endearing. That's not all, either. There's the bar which is led by Ellis Mcrene, the BDSM Queen, (who was also the trainer of the one who was gonna torture the assassin girl), and is filled with tons of masochists that love being whiped and abused by her. I think Darkness from Konosuba would fit in perfectly well there. It's always a good time when they're on screen. Also, the old man introduced in the final few episodes, who clearly has fetishes of his own that he's kept hidden, (or maybe not, because some of the other characters don't seem too surprised, they just never bring it up). Another problem I had with the series was the final battle, which was way too short and underwhelming compared to what I was expecting. But even that isn't enough to damper my enjoyment for this series, and also, albeit to a lesser extent, my investment in the plot and characters and where it's going to go. There are a lot of unanswered questions at the end of the anime. Seiichi has yet to reunite with his bullies, or those other kids that were Isekai'd with him. I hesitate to call them his friends, because we don't know how close they were exactly, but at the very least they were the ones that didn't bully him, and in fact defended him against the actual bullies before. Also, at the VERY end of the episode, a brand new character was suddenly introduced. Saria teases the possibility of a second season, then it ends. She was really vague about it. I really hope that wasn't her giving us false hope, and that there's a second season on the horizon, because so far the light novels haven't been licensed either. And yes, I will consider that cliffhanger to be a flaw of the series, until we get another season, or the light novels get licensed. Despite my issues, however, I still think this is a good show that deserves another look. If you were made skeptical by all of the negative reviews, know that it definitely gets my endorsement, as an anime that's not amazing, but is still enjoyable and worth a shot. SCORES! STORY-7/10 ART-7/10 SOUND-7/10 CHARACTER-7/10 ENJOYMENT-8/10 OVERALL-7/10

So I started writing this review the day before the last episode aired and I just have to say I’m pretty disappointed with this show. Not that I expected anything from it in the first place. Shinka no Mi is another run of the mill isekai which honestly, I had zero expectations for but at least I thought I could get some sort of laugh or “ah” moment from the MC but this anime just lacks any sort of flair or hype. Every episode felt like a waste of time because nothing interesting actually happened. At least lower tier isekai like Death March and Mom isekai, there were some decent moments and even funny moments but watching Shinka no Mi just turned my brain off. I believe the biggest issue with this series is practically everything but I will divide it into plot, characters and pacing. The plot... Well I can’t say much happens here. The MC and his class/year (not too sure) get sent to another world. How original. However, the MC is separated from them and spends the first 2 episodes in a forest where he becomes super OP due to eating the Fruit of Evolution. He meets the first girl and there starts our “grand adventure in a new world!” Except the fact that he spends literally 80% in the same place and achieves nothing of note other than adding idiotic girls that fall for him in less than a day to his harem. What I can say Shinka no Mi’s plot tries to do is add some sort of “suspense” or “odds” with the ongoing war with humans vs demons and the opposing kingdom (who summoned MC and his class) training his class to be heroes. Problem is, it is executed poorly and I mean very poorly. They appear sporadically throughout the episodes, only getting little screentime and instead we have MC receiving a new girl to his harem. There is also some sort of subplot about some of them in his class being at odds with his friends and blah blah blah nobody cares when it hardly gets any sort of development. Moving onto the characters, being as bad if not worse than the plot. It’s MC and his glorified harem. No sort of development for either one of these characters other than Artoria, who was able to overcome her need of isolation from others due to her unluck but soon, she just becomes MC’s hypewoman/lover. No one here is worth remembering or caring about when they achieve zero development. Finally, pacing. I’ve already alluded to the pacing in the point that the MC spends most of the anime in the same kingdom and does nothing. The plot only started to progress in the last 3 episodes and you get to this point in the anime and I just think “It would’ve been nice if more actually happened.” The anime should’ve spent less time on pointless characters and events and tried to develop the other side of the story like his class and the enemy kingdom working with the demons and also the Demon Princess wanting to be civil with humans. At the end of the day, Shinka no Mi is a gag comedy isekai and I only really realised this now. Perhaps I had too many expectations for this. After the MC became OP, I just wanted him to find his class and beat up the people that bullied him. That entire plotline would’ve been worth the watch much more than the entire thing I just watched. If Shinka no Mi doesn’t take itself seriously, why wouldn’t the audience do the same?

Review: Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei TLDR: I expected very little and was positively surprised. While the animation is lacklustre, I would recommend the series as a B-Tier anime. ... that is, up until ep 8, from there on it goes downhill fast. Also, don’t watch the previews, they spoil a lot. NOTE: Most of the review below is only applicable up until episode 8-ish. for an episode 8-12 review, scroll down to the bottom. --Enjoyment-- 7/10 It is enjoyable, the funny parts are actually fun. It leans towards being a gag-comedy; Events takes unexpected turns and seemingly one-shot characters have unexpected dept. Even when the gags fall flat, their novelty is still appreciated --Story and Pacing-- 4/10 The overall plot is simple, but cohesive. Despite the OP isekai protagonist trope being is horrendously overused, I think it pulled it off okay. But that might just be due to my standards being low because of an overwhelming exposure to shit-tier nonsensical plots. It lacks a sense of direction, and most of the time MC is planning only 1 step ahead. While my suspension of disbelief was stretched at times, things made sense overall. There are multiple plots running in parallel. The side plots are bland and barely watchable, as per tradition. But they are mercifully short, thank God. The pacing is on point --MC-- 8/10 MC is funny and has a bit of personality. His OP-ness is of the gain-skill kind + insane stats. He is pretty powerful, but not too OP. He starts out as an outcast loser, with the sole saving grace being how detailed he is compared to his classmates. Unfortunately, as he gains power, he becomes more and more generic looking, until he has that one ultimate-generic-anime-guy look. Such is the price for power smh. But despite quickly gaining overpowered stats, he is still retarded. He is dumb enough for it to be entertaining, but not so dumb that it gets frustrating. The standard for harem issekai protagonist is pathetically low, so this one score top marks. Bonus points for actually showing MCs stats and equipment at the end of each episode. Very much appreciated. ... and bonus points take away, because they mean jack shit. --Characters-- 7/10 The main cast is likeable and non-tropey. Support characters are varied and wacky. Saria was an unexpected, but welcome character. What seemed like a one-shot character suddenly became a part of the main cast. The plot-twist really took me by surprise. The characters act according to their motivations and despite most of them being a bunch of weirdos, their interactions feel natural. That is, apart from the villains. The villains are puppy-kicking evil bastards, except for the monsters MC slay. They have tragic backstories to back them up. --Worldbuilding-- 4/10 It’s okay. If you just accept the whole RPG-loot system as being another natural law, then it´s alright. Much of the worldbuilding is barebones, but serviceable. Details such as "daily life magic" is pretty cool, but overall, it’s a bit light on the details. --Visuals-- 2/10 The quality of the visuals varies. Greatly. It’s okay most of the time, but the initial 15 seconds almost made me drop the series on the spot. The visuals were average; for a 2012 release. While the level of detail has improved since then, the "grainy" quality is atrocious. An oversaturated bloom effect was added to hide how bad it was, but only served to make it worse. Luckily, it gets better. And while it never gets "good", its bearable. The main characters are nicely done, serves to make the contrast between them and everyone else even clearer. Some of the support characters looks like straight up trash from some 90s kids’ anime. It’s almost funny. Blur and other visual effects are used to great effect (except for in the initial scene), making what would otherwise be unwatchable garbage into something bearable, despite lacklustre animations. The number of panning shots still piss me off, if I wanted I slideshow I would have booted up a PowerPoint. --Audio-- 8/10 The sound is good. The voice-acting is expressive, if nothing else. It is too over the top for my taste, but that’s just preference. The effect and soundtrack are pretty novel, dragging the score up immensely. One track in particular is a total banger. It’s too bad that it gets reused a bit too often. --OP + ED-- NA/10 OP is standart. EDs visuals is both simple and inconsistent. Horrendous. I won’t let a bad OP/ED drag down the score as I’m not watching the TV release, if I don’t like it, I will just skip it. ---Episode 8-12--- (Spoilers below) --Enjoyment-- 3/10 Separating the main cast was a huge mistake. MCs lollygagging has been reduced and new characters desperately hog the screentime. MC flexes his powers in the lamest ways possible and the focus is on the garbage non-plot plot. --Story and Pacing-- 2/10 The story is leading nowhere, not that I expected it to lead anywhere at this point. Subplots with unmet and uninteresting characters pop up like weeds and the main story stalls. The only saving grace is that it is not nonsensical. The pacing is fine. --MC-- 2/10 MC is like a paper bag, floating in the wind. He occasionally uses his OP powers to do something OP. He feels like a generic isekai MC. --Characters-- 3/10 The "old" cast get less and less screentime. Random hoes are introduced. The Harem is officially established, but consists of only 2(maybe 3) members, and is limited to handholding. The villains are still puppy-kicking evil bastards and no new support characters are introduced. Gimmick characters should not be reused too often. --Worldbuilding-- 2/10 - Kids morning show level worldbuilding. Everything begins to tear at the seams. Multiple significant events happen to the kingdom of the good guys, including an assassination attempt by the bad guys. The only reason I accepted knowing jack shit about the world is because it didn’t matter. This is a total betrayal of that expectation. I mean, not even once has a map been shown. The entire level/stats system has STILL not been explained. Why is the slimes level 89? If MC only got 15 levels after killing a god, how many gods has the slimes killed? Nobody knows. While I did not expect much, I expected more than this. --Visuals-- 1/10 The visuals drop off sharply from middle of ep 8, from one frame to another. It’s like their lead designer died or something. --Audio-- 6/10 A lot of the tracks are recycled. ---Verdict--- The entertainment value and visuals weight a great deal in my scoring. I found it somewhat entertaining but the lack of consistency in the visuals was jarring at best. I cannot, with good consciousness, recommend this to anyone with a screen-resolution above 480x360. The last episodes totally dropped the ball too, if I had not committed myself to writing this, I would have dropped it. Score for ep 1-8: 4/10 Total score: 3/10

I don't wanna hear that name again. There is just one things to say about this anime.. IT'S THE WORST ISEKAI EVER CREATED. Don't waste time and don't watch it. Maybe you'll be able to endure the first season but if you watch the season two as well, that's mean you're probably a masochist Story very average, animation is quite bad, those character are discusting to me cause they seem like a bad dad joke At least if you wanna see a good parodic show, then watch Konosuba or The eminence in Shadow, it's way better than this piece of sh*t

This seems like a loser made a Dnd campaign and wrote fun locations with sad backstories for every named monster. Though they had no friends because they are a loser so the author wrote them selves as a self insert into their campaign. Its a great train wreck. This is extremely boring for an OP protagonist anime. pwotagonist could trip on a rock and become an earth bender, he could sneeze with his mouth open, and any woman who gets spit on them won't be able to talk about anything other then the pwotagonists sperm. The pwotagonist could sit next to any man and they will either immediately respect him for the stupid expression on his face or envy him for the one other facial expression the animator knows how to draw.

I have never written a review before but it seemed like now I have to since I have seen all these bad recommendations eho don't seem to understand this show. This show is a PARODY show. It's quiet easy to notice that this Anime is making fuun of the Isekai Genre and doesn't take itself all too serious. The main character is really self aware and often talks straight to the viewers. If you are searching for a comedic fun show- this is the one. The second season makes it even more obvious that this is a Parody, with the addition of Jojo's references and other anime references. Please don't skip out on this hilarious Isekka!

Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei" is an isekai anime that, while showing some potential in its narrative and character development, ultimately falls short of delivering a memorable and compelling story. The characters, while diverse in their appearances, lack the necessary depth and complexity to make them truly stand out. It feels as though the potential of the series was left untapped, with a superficial and mediocre execution that fails to deliver a truly captivating experience. While I cannot say that I recommend this series, I will acknowledge that there are viewers who may find enjoyment in its premise and execution. However, I caution that those expecting a deep and engaging plot or any significant plot twists will likely be disappointed. If one is seeking a casual viewing experience, then it may be worth considering as background entertainment. That being said, I hope that the second season of "Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei" takes the time to address the shortcomings of the first season and elevate the series to its full potential. Only time will tell if it will deliver the improvements needed to make it a truly great isekai anime.

The jokes in anime really aren't for just anyone. It even feels like Circle Jokes. If you're not in the circle, you're just a freak. Then the story setting is very bad, not properly directed, and unimportant. You may have seen people tell a story about a film, then the audience felt that they had watched the film. Of course we know they don't really understand the film. But if someone tells this anime like that, you can agree that the listener has watched the anime. You will find it difficult to distinguish between those who have actually watched the anime and those who have not watched it live. But if asked to rank the 10 worst isekai anime of the year, and this anime is in the nomination, it might be in 9th place, but that doesn't mean it's an achievement.
