This is my very first review so I'm trying something new. I'm not great at portraying my feelings as much but I'll try my best. This review is solely my own thoughts about this season of Demon Slayer. To start off, the story wasn't that complex. It was easy to follow and throughout the show they solidified the plot for the characters. I would've liked more episodes but the given amount of 11 episodes seem to cover what they needed to cover. I feel like the story itself didn't really put much to what's to come. 7/10 The art is nothing but incredible. Usually I expect 1 or 2 huge fight sequences in these mainstream shounen anime but I sure hell was wrong. Not 1 not 2 not 3 action sequences but at least 5. After each sequence, the next one topped. Ufotable didn't hold back at all. 10/10 The soundtrack of this season had to keep up with the animation and the feelings portrayed by the characters. The soundtrack was amazing and almost enhanced the fight sequences even more. 9/10 Character developments weren't that different. I felt like towards the beginning of the season, our main trio have already shown some training scenes but they weren't that crazy. The only character that seemed different was Zenitsu. It was nice to see Zenitsu actually speak and basically command attacks through his better form, and better in terms of all aspects. I'd say that Tanjiro and Inosuke were basically the same, ended the same, and Tengen was cool. 6/10 My enjoyment for this season peaked. I haven't been excited to watch the next episode for an anime for quite a bit, not including AOT. 10/10 Overall, I'm a man of action. I see great and crazy action I like and Demon Slayer didn't cease to amaze me. I wish the season was longer. 10/10

MUCH EPIC !! VERY WOW!! Flamboyant, epic, and emotional into one is the thing that makes the anime kimetsu no yaiba s2 very good. Unlike Attack on Titan which sells the complexity of the story, Kimetsu no Yaiba only provides a light story but plays with the feelings of the audience. There are times when we feel excited because of an epic scene, there are times when we laugh because we see a comedy, there are times when we feel tense because of a situation. And there are times when your eyes will tear up when you see the animation that is presented and the emotional moment when the demons admit their mistakes. I still remember when the anime kimetsu no yaiba s2 just aired, many people said that Kimetsu no Yaiba contains polygamy so it's not suitable for all ages, Kimetsu no Yaiba is too sadistic, the opening is too smooth and only a singer named Lisa is worthy to fill the opening of the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba. Obviously this is all just a blasphemy not criticism. If this Kimetsu no Yaiba s2 contains polygamy, they should see another anime, then think a second time. How many anime contain harem elements or the male main character has more than one wife. I mean the polygamy element in Kimetsu no Yaiba s2 is still very normal compared to other harem anime "Kimetsu no Yaiba is too sadistic" come on what do you expect if there is a world where demons eat humans to survive and humans have to fight against demons so they don't get eaten. There must be bloodshed. If you want to see anime that isn't sadistic, you should watch Slice of Life anime In terms of opening, I think Aimer's songs are also good. Those who criticize the opening may hope that the opening of Kimetsu no Yaiba s2 has rock elements like Gurenge. I think both the opening sung by Aimer and the opening sung by Lisa are equally good. The tone of the two openings is different because the singers adjust to what will happen in the anime. For example, in season 1, the song Gurenge has rock elements because it describes Tanjiro's struggle to become a strong demon slayer in order to turn his younger sister back into a human. For the song Zankyou Sanka, it adapts to the atmosphere where Tanjiro carries out his mission, which is festive because it describes the atmosphere of a night full of fireworks All this time I thought that Fate Stay Night Heavens feel was an anime made by Ufotable studio with the best animation. I didn't expect that Kimetsu no Yaiba beat Heavens Fell in terms of animation. There are no flaws that I can find in terms of animation. Animation at the beginning of the episode, then animation in the middle of the match, until the animation at the end of the episode is really consistent. There is no sudden drop in animation detail. So far, episode 10 is the best of all the episodes in the Kimetsu no Yaiba series Overall this anime is a must watch. I will give this anime a 100/10 rating. because I don't think a 10/10 rating is enough. I just hope that Ufotable can continue to improve the animation of the anime. Each hasira has a unique technique and breathing. Each demon also has unique abilities and moves. I'm getting more and more curious about muzan's reaction when a rank six top moon demon is killed. I'm also curious about the shape of the upper moon demons. For the design of the Douma character, it deserves a 10/10 rating. it is very visible from the details of douma's eyes which are very colorful WAY TO GO UZUI

Like many reviews shared here, Kimetsu no Yaiba is heavily carried by its aesthetics and overall animation. Beyond that, what we see is an empty shell of characters—soulless, shallow, and incredibly, painfully boring. The story is completely forgettable and lacks any kind of charm. Instead of watching this anime, you're better off just checking out the fight scenes, plain and simple. Don’t waste your time—invest it in something with more substance. Additionally, it all feels like it was designed to impress on a superficial level: flashy colors, epic music, dramatic yelling... but everything comes off as artificial, like a product made to generate hype without any real concern for what it's actually telling. There are moments where it tries to be emotional, but there's no proper buildup to justify them—so they neither move nor impact. In short, it’s a pretty shell with nothing inside, carried solely by its visual wrapping.

If you love animation, not only anime but animation, you will love this wonderful piece of art. Even my wife, who's not an anime fan and who generaly doesn't care about how animation works and how it's made, was blown away. When the perfectly animated choreography reaches its peak in a firework of colors, blood and tears, fear and bravery, supported by an epic music... Ufotable are truly masters in their art. As for the story itself, as simple as it is, it has heart. A lot of heart. And that's what matters. I guess people who don't like Demon Slayer won't like masterpieces like Redline or Mind Game either. If that's the case, maybe they should just watch movies, because they don't seem to care about what is the real essence of anime.

Since not much has changed since the first season in terms of characters and plot structure, I will instead give you a list of 10 things that made Demon Slayer the success it is. This is done after some chats I had with people who insisted Demon Slayer did not become such a success just because of the animation. Up to a point they were right, since if animation alone was enough then every well animated anime would be a success, something which is not true. So, here are those 10 reasons that made a show with such a by the numbers plot and cast to be such a hit. 1) Animation With the first one still being the animation. Don’t fool yourselves to think it would be the success it is if the pretty colors weren’t so pretty. Modern audiences became addicted to it so much it eclipsed any other reason for watching something. Even if you put together the other 9 reasons that follow, they are still not going to be as important as the pretty colors. With that said, here they are despite not being that important, yet helping out in making Demon Slayer to stand out amongst other well animated series. 2) Fighting Shonen It’s a fighting shonen! Holy crap, who could have predicted that most people who watch anime don’t like comedy or drama or romance as much as they like action. So it’s not just the animation, it’s the well animated and rather brutal action scenes, a prime attraction of anime in general. 3) Death is Permanent This shouldn’t be a reason, and yet it has become a reason because most action anime chicken out when it comes to killing characters and leaving them dead. Magic resurrections and time resets and alternative timelines became so commonplace, it actually became rare to find an anime where people stay dead. Demon Slayer is one of those rare cases. 4) The pacing is great Although most people watch anime for the action, one of the huge detractors fighting shonen have is the stretched out duration with slow pacing and a ton of filler episodes. Demon Slayer doesn’t do that, there is clear plot progression even in the action-free buildup episodes. 5) The plot is easy to follow Believe it or not most people do not expect an action show to be super complex with constant plot twists, multi layered mysteries, and a whole bunch of other convoluted bullshit that demand from them to think for hours what the shit is going on, only to get a complete trainwreck that doesn’t make any sense, contradicts its earlier messages, and in general confuses him more than it entertains him. Your average fan wants things to be simple. Guy swings sword, stuff explode. It doesn’t have to be more complex than that. Demon Slayer with its generic and simple to follow story gives you exactly that. 6) Ideal Setting Escapism can have mass appeal when it keeps the best aspects and disregards everything that makes it look bad. The setting of Demon Slayer is Japan in its coolest form, nothing but stuff people want to see in order to be impressed. Swords and ninjas and kimonos and all those stereotypes we expect to see in Japan. At the same time it completely disregards everything that would not make it cool, such as showing us what a bunch of xenophobic fascist chauvinists the Japanese used be at time period the story is supposed to be taking place in. If any of those nasty bits were showing there would be many who would be bothered and they wouldn’t like the show. 7) Everyone has a Backdrop Any show with a large cast has a hard time to show everybody’s backdrop story. There is simply not enough time to do that, resulting to most secondary characters being left without one and feeling flat as a result. In Demon Slayer everyone has a tragic past that makes him more than a generic swordsman or a generic monster. Obviously this is achieved through the cheap method of showing someone’s life story as he is dying, but then again your average anime fan doesn’t know shit about good writing and is pleased with a sad flashback, regardless of how cheaply written it is. 8) Everyone has a Badass Mode The characters are, just like the plot, very simple and easy to follow. This usually results in coming off as having only one trait in their personality, which in extreme situations becomes obnoxious. The protagonist is a dull boyscout, his blond comrade is a loud coward, his sister is a mind controlled puppet, and so on. Your average viewer is willing to forgive that if those characters have a badass mode during battles. And they do. When things get serious they get super powerful and kick ass instead of being permanently obnoxious and useless in battle. 9) Family Bonds Something that is often overlooked in appeal is that most Japanese anime fans love family bonds. They love the living shit out of characters who are relatives, not simply friends or colleagues. When a character does something for his family it hits way deeper than when he does it because it’s a mission or a friend is in need. Demon Slayer is about family since it’s the protagonist doing it all for helping his sister. This simple detail elevates the show above all others that are not about family. 10) Promotion From the pedigree of the animation studio, to the company that streams it in the west, Demon Slayer got some pretty big names in the industry to attract a wide audience. Part of its success is the heavy promotion it got. The more promotion something gets, the more sales it ends up having. What? Did you think it all has to do about quality or some shit? The manga sales were fairly low until the anime came out. It’s all about exposure and giving the people what they want. Which is pretty colors and 9 other minor reasons.

𝘋𝘦MID 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 Ha. But in all seriousness, this new season truly lives up to that title in much too many ways for such an acclaimed series. If you have criticisms, though, you're labeled as a mere elitist. "𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 is about the simplicity, not everything needs to..." or "it's just a shounen, what did you expect?" Well, what I expected was a coherent experience, which is what I recall the previous installments of 𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 to have provided at the least. When season 1 came out, it was easy to ignore what many called poor writing and characters, but as time goes on, the excitement of watching 𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 slowly gives way to disbelief, as the latest season shows you exactly what critics of the series must have been seeing from the beginning. Hype doesn't diminish poor writing, and this was clear to me every step of the way as the Entertainment District Arc was airing. Annoying and shallow characters and motivations (paired with some of the worst, most useless, and dare I say unironically cringiest dialogue I've heard from any anime in this genre), contrived and sometimes even reused plot conveniences, a bafflingly lackluster power system, irritatingly unnecessary levels of plot armor, episodes on end of nothing really happening, and good production apparently gets you a spot as one of the highest rated anime of all time. This season was so poor, in fact, that it even made me skeptical of my previous ratings and thoughts on 𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳, and some reassessment was necessary. Maybe I was wrong about what this series could achieve, especially considering some people really believe this arc to be the supposed best the manga has to offer. I'm still holding out hope for something to change next year, though. It also doesn't help that the Entertainment District Arc was airing alongside some of 𝘈𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘰𝘯 𝘛𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘯's best, and this definitely impacted how I experienced 𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳's newest addition. Currently, 𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 is positioned to be the next 𝘔𝘺 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘰 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘢, but even less so, with its only merit at the moment being arguably more polished and pleasing visuals. Yet with most it seems to have lived up to the hype just fine, while 𝘔𝘺 𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘰 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘢 has been a source of constant ridicule from the anime community, though actually being more ambitious than the current 𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳. At the end, the one word which summarizes the latest installment of 𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 is this: Disappointment. I hope this will change with whatever comes next.

Kimerdson II 2/10 It's the same review as the first season because it doesn't change anything. It's just animation. Villains are shit. the protagonist is a door and the only thing that works in this crap is Zenitsu and Inosuke. It's a generic battle shonen with slightly above average animation (Ufotable does better with Fate), there's nothing more than that, the script is crap and the dramatization is hilarious for being too bad. Worst of all is the fanbase forcing this shit like it's the best anime in the world because of some scenes with colored lights. Get out of the bubble and stop forcing this generic shonen like divine animation because of colored lights. it gets to be very funny because the fans just force the animation of this shit, and there's nothing to talk about other "qualities".

New season of kimetsu and what a good season. We see a very good expansion of the universe, with the participation of a new pillar and I can only say it with one word EPIC. I just finished watching the last episode of I'm sad because one of the reasons I haven't committed suicide yet on a Sunday was to watch this beautiful anime. Well now talking about the animation of this is one of the best adaptations in a long time they maintain a level of movie animation in almost all the episodes, the fights are audiovisual delights. The soundtrack is excellent and the character design is beautiful, the best design of all is Uzui's strong rats, by God those rats are the best of the season, like new characters. The character development is good because we see an evolution in the scale of power of our protagonist and they show us that they are progressing. I really hope that a new season will come out soon, but if they tell me that it will come out in 2 years with the same animation that we saw in this season, I have no problem waiting. It was beautiful to see the anime, it's a disaster to see something so well done. If you didn't see kimetsu, give it a chance, the plot is half typical, it's a shounen but then it beats you with the animation.

I hate shounen anime. Like really can't buy this whole "power of friendship" and "i can do it if i believe in it strong enough" bull that every other show rides on. But not because it's childish or lacks a story. It's because most shounen shows lack impact and style and that should be the backbone of every over the top anime. Like man, just make it look good that's all i ask. Instead most of the times i get 10-20 episodes of horribly animated talking heads and 30 seconds of sakuga at the finale. At best. And i like simple stories and simple characters but only when i have something pretty to look at at the same time. But then - BAM! - Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc rides in on the rails of the mugen train and absolutely wrecks me and my understanding of what shounen anime could be. I finished the whole show in one sitting, sweat dripping down my back from excitement. It's like watching a stunningly animated movie but 11 times. The build-up, how the new characters and the setting were brought in, and the big and i mean HUGE fight, and the FINALE absolutely blows your mind. You have to be ufotable to pull something like that off. And i've read trough some of the reviews and people are bashing this show for having a simple story, one-dimensional characters and stuff being pulled from their ass all the time. Well it's all true but what do you expect from a shounen little baby-man? This is big-testicle territory, where you swing a sword and flames come out. How do you expect to have a layered story and multi-dimensional characters with inner turmoils when there is a guy who has three wives and is a cool ninja and there's a sexy demon lady who wants to step on everyone. Forget about useless stuff like story here. Demon Slayer is all style and less substance and it's not trying hard to be something other than that. This is pure shounen honesty backed up with fantastic animation and sound. If you want to watch something deeper then try Katanagatari or Sonny Boy.

This is the only review you will need (minor spoiler maybe?) Nice animation, some sad story, made my depressed ass very cry cry. Me feel good at the end Just enjoy the ride man. It's really a simple story with beautiful visuals and brings in topics and scenarios most people can relate to. (unless you're an only child?? maybe idk) I really don't see a reason not to watch it. "There's better." Probably? Doesn't make this absolutely horrible though. "It's too generic" We all know you'll watch a harem anime but THIS is too generic i meeeeean. "Not my type". That's.... acutally a fair point, gl.

The show and music were so insanely hyped that I was constantly flexing my arm creating time under tension. Insane way to build up my triceps. Opening and Ending by Aimer also goes crazy that I listened to it in the gym and hit a new PR. I was at my last breathe when I thought to myself "What would Rengoku do?", the next moment I found my legs pushed up on the leg press machine. Throughout the show, I was sweating from anticipation giving me a good cardio workout as well. Moments in the show made my jaw drop from the sheer astonishment and excitement I felt while experiencing such carefully curated and wonderful animation paired with top-notch orgasmic orchestra music. When I closed my mouth, I could feel my jawline getting sharper. I recommand a ton!!

Just flames, the climax of this season gives you the goosebumps, the sound design and production that went into this just makes it so hype to watch. I understand why people say that the art carries the show but its more then that; its the whole production of it, and is that really a bad thing? Some shows offer deep thematics and great characterization to make them good. Some shows offer an intense and unpredictable story which makes them good, but demon slayer doesn't have too. The viewing experience is still great. And its not even like the story and characters which go with it are "bad," people just compare them to shows which make them the highlight of the whole thing. its not a fair comparison. its like comparing chess to a first person shooter, completely different games. Don't feel discouraged to watch it when people say it has no story or its carried by the art. I would still highly recommend watching this season cuz this show has some of the best anime moments in the history of the industry and its just a overall great experience.

Demon Slayer is an example of what peak animation of an anime is. Remember when everyone was hyped about episode 19 in Season 1? Well you get to experience that hype more this arc. Tengen Uzui is such a badass and interesting character and you get to see the boys and Nezuko fighting again. Don't wait to watch this Arc, just watch it already when you are finished with Season 1 and Mugen train arc. You will get mindblowned on how beautiful the animation is compared to before. Don't get me wrong, Season 1 and Mugen Train had amazing animation too, but holy shit does this set a new standard. This arc was so beautiful, and I'm excited for the next one!

Openminded i begun watching Demon Slayer Yuukaku-hen, i thought it would be a good anime though i was let down its bad character development, poor establishment of power and mediocore story structure i cant really reccomend this anime to anyone over the many genuinely good well constructed anime out there. Demonslayer Yuukaku-hen follows tanjiro as he, inosuke and zenitsu are guided by the sound hashira uzui tengen into the red light district in pursuit of an upper rank demon. The animation in this anime is undeniably good, i feel however the emphasize on fight scenes really takes away from the story; to have slowed down animation and freeze frames is common throughout anime and can emphasize and exxagerate aspects of the story however demonslayer overuses and overnarrates this technique to the point where it can subtract from the story making what couldve been great scenes felt sluggish and overworked. Demonslayer has good animation with mediocore synergy to the story. The audio in demonslayer is good and helps emphasize the story; though it lacks personality, demonslayers audio lacks an identity as i watched demonslayer i experienced deja vu; sounds which i heard before; generic shounen anime music, though to its merit the audio is well conducted with no faults. Demonslayers audio is good; though it is reused often and lacks identity. The characters in demonslayer lack power balance, personality and intrigue all personality traits they possess seem forced or unnatural, made artifically. Demonslayers powerlevels fluctuate largely between episodes in an obnoxiously in high contrast. On one episode Tengen is portrayed as being onpar with an upper while in another being weak and timid, when tanjiro, nezuko or zenitsu suddenly gain overwhelming strengh it often goes unexplained or is explained through a poorly narrated flashback. Demonslayer adjusts their characters strength too freely ruining what little tension it developed, leaving no room for uncertainty, tension. The characters in demonslayer are dissapointing, transient. My experience watching Yuukaku-hen has been one of the worst ive had in a while. There are many reasons for this, the most detrimental one being how badly the story is constructed and paced. I would not advise anyone to watch Yuukaku hen unless forced to or as a last resort. there are thosands of great anime out there; anime better then demonslayer yuukaku hen..

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA And finally came to an end, the second season of Kimetsu no Yaiba and what an incredible surprise, Ufotable delivered us a complete fan service, Kimetsu is without a doubt one of the best animes ever made in this new generation, but I will focus on the important point of this review which is the Arc of The Entertainment, no doubt surprised in the positive, not only for the visual quality that is something that has been maintained since the first season and also of the movie, UFO continues to surprise with the incredible visual quality that is for us provided in Demon Slayer, the pacing of the episodes is quite addictive and everything flows very well, the initial episodes give us an introduction to what is happening in the District and give us a general idea of what our heroes will have to face after the events of the Infinity train, the fight scenes are simply WOW and with each fight it seems that Ufotable is only improving in technical and visual quality, the soundtrack remains the same wonder as always and without a doubt Kim etsu manages to give us a very strong mix of emotions when seeing the struggle suffered by the hunters to protect others against the onis, after watching this last episode of the 2nd season I cried a lot, because this is the magic of an anime, the anime provides it in the different moments, whether of laughter, sad moments, moments when we are angry and Kimetsu does it perfectly, and now the new arc comes to continue following the adventure of our favorite heroes! Final Verdict on Demon Slayer Season 2 Sound - 10 Visual Quality - 10 (UFOTABLE I LOVE YOU) History - 10 Characters - 10 Final Grade - 10

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen I like Demon Slayer, I really do. And mostly thanks to what Ufotable has done with this manga. The animations, the dynamics and atmosphere. All of this makes the anime an art form that you practically just soak up. And at the same time, this is a very critical contrast for my taste. On the one hand, I adore this anime and could watch this season a second time right now. Yet, simultaneously, these flaws and problems are hurting me more and more. It is at once one of my favorite shounen and one of the worst shounen I have seen. Demon Slayer manga only had a half baked story that was immensely linear until the end. The only thing that really did the manga good was the fortunately existing choreography and the backgrounds and deaths of certain characters, which resulted in very nice dramatic scenes. But that was it. From the writing style, the dialogues to the characters and fights, everything is below average. [Story 2] This time it is an Upper Moon who hides in a red light district and feeds on the people there. But what is the story behind it? Nothing. He hides, they fight and win. This is the entire plot of this season, let alone entire series, as Muzan does the same thing. Muzan asks Akaza to kill all the Demon Slayers?`Has Muzan forgotten that in 1000 years he hasn't managed to get rid of his pursuers? For being so arrogant, he is very bad at defeating his opponents. As a strategist, Muzan is absolutely useless, well, he was also a musician in his last life. And then he has nothing better to do than to lose his elite one by one without taking precautions before the sides become equal. Also in this season you saw again how unbalanced everything is. The concept of breathing and strength was strange from the beginning. But that Tanjirou can be beaten through several houses without dying is shocking. The damage he suffers is far beyond human. But at the same time he is hurt by a normal person in the film and can hardly move? Inosuke moves his heart to avoid an attack? To do so, he would have to have relocated it almost to the speed of sound. From start to finish, absolutely nothing has happened in this season, except for one of the strangest fights you can find with some of the most unnecessary dialogue ever. [Characters 3] I actually like most of the characters and even Zenitsu. But they are all empty. Insosuke and Zenitsu are 2 running running gags, with Inosuke being successful with them. Tanjirou is in my eyes one of the best Shounen protagonists you can find and has a very first class and rational logic regarding many situations and moments. And especially, he is not a hypocrite or gives you a pseudo-sermon about the heart or love. Instead, he gets to the point, wants to put his opponent and as soon as he is convinced that he is an enemy, he strikes mercilessly. The final scene before the death of Upper 6 alone was impressive. The logic behind Tanjirou's words was flawless and fascinating. No one will forgive a murderous pair of siblings. But in the end they have only themselves and at least this is what they should keep in their demise. This neutral kind of mercilessness and at the same time respectful treatment and grace of Tanjirou, make him so fascinating. Most of the other characters are also just empty shells with comedy potential. Daki is a steam boiler. Gyotarou was a broken recorder who kept saying the same thing. Her background was sad, but that was it. Fun fact for Genshin Impact players, yes, that was the VA of Raiden Mei and Benett. [Animations 9] The animations were mostly stunning and shocked me. Except in the fight between Daki and Tanjirou. Iit was relatively bumpy and the drawings slipped sharply. The quality of these 2 episodes fluctuated greatly. However, this has been greatly balanced over the last 3 episodes with some of the best visual clashes in the Shounen scene. The intro and outro have also been visually artful. [Music 9] I liked the outro even more than the intro, because of the detailed and beautiful presentation. The Osts remained at the same level as their predecessor. [Conclusion] Demon Slayer is an absolute must for any Shounen fan looking for fights, emotions and explosions. But for anyone who likes character depth or story, he will not find what he is looking for here, all the opposite. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to seeing the following seasons and hope to live long enough to experience the finale of Demon Slayer in anime format. [Enjoyment 9]

Meh. I don't hate this anime, I just think its average and that's all. The animation is really pretty to look at, the CGI is really good and also it has a nice opening and ending song. The story is also pretty cool, our 3 main characters go to a red light district with a Hashira to kill the big bad demon because the demon on a killing spree. Summarized the plot and shit now time to get to what I like and dislike. Likes- Nice animation, it looks really pretty which is obvious. The fights are really pretty to look at and you can make out everything that's happening, very pretty and nice animation. There's allot of CGI and its really good. Normally it distracts me but Ufotable makes it look really good and really nice to look at. Very Nice. The Soundtrack is also pretty nice but not as good as season 1. The opening and ending songs are decent songs, but the OP doesn't set the tone for the show at all but thats okay I dont really care, no OST stands out in particular, it just blends in with the show and that's about it. Nice and simple story. Big bad demon eating many humans, demon slayers notice it, go to the big bad demon's place to fight and they fight bam bam boom boom nothing too complicated. Dislikes- Literally everything else. The characters are annoying. For example one of the Hashira's bitches really gets on my nerves like fr I wanted to punch her so bad to just stfu, the main characters are okay no that annoying, Shounen protagonist Tanjiro is okay I guess, Screaming guy Inosuke is not as annoying compared to season 1, the wannabe funny guy Zenitsu is still kinda unfunny and he doesn't do that much in this season but okay. The main hashira guy is also pretty cool he fights with the big bad demons and its nice to look at. So then, what do I dislike about these? Well they're just mediocre and have zero personality and it kinda degrades the experience of watching the show. Another thing I dislike is the plotholes and the big bad demons of this season. There are some major plotholes in this show and let me explain without giving too many spoilers. Tanjiro in some episode fights the main big bad and gets shit on like blood all over shit and also passes out, literally the next fucking episode hes fighting with those wounds like its nothing and kicking ass again, it makes no sense at all. Like dude, you just got cut with a goddamn sword, pass out and then the next episode you're back to kicking ass again like bruh wtf, I just there's no sense of danger at all that he's gon die or some shit like hes getting up every time he eats shit and its annoying its a huge plothole and it's not explained at all. Also nezuko somehow gets a buff without any explanation like suddenly she becomes buff and starts kicking ass it makes and it makes no sense but at least she became thicc so I dont mind that I got to see bob. Also another thing is that in the final fight and most of the fights they're just defying every single fucking law in physics and shouting at the top of their lungs, got earraped :/. Edit- I re-watched the last few episodes and remember when tanjiro gets tortured? Yeah the next moment they brush off that scene and he's back in full form again bro this shit really degrades the experience for me. And also one thing I disliked is the tone in this show. It wants to be a comedy and a dark/gory show at a time. In some serious moments like when a character is fucking dying wannabe funny guy Zenitsu or screaming guy Inosuke starts cracking shitty jokes and disrupts the whole tone and I never felt like a single main character would die at all. My next point, both of the big bads' backstory is just unnecessary. I dont give a fuck about their backstory one bit okay like dude yeah its sad and all but that doesn't matter one bit bruh like they've been killing humans for centuries how does a backstory justify mass killing bruh I just couldn't give a shit cuz in the first place they showed the backstory when they were dying and it felt super forced and akward like bruh get the fuck out of here, I dont give a fuck how sad your life is you both are mass murderers and enjoy what you do I dont have any reasons to feel sorry for you both like bruh. Well but I'm not gonna lit their backstories are pretty sad :'(.. but I don't care. Basically, huge plotholes, shitty forced backstories, some fights break every single law of physics (yeah its fiction and all but..), the tone is all over the place (and horrible comedy) and annoying characters. Anyways to sum this up I had fun watching this show and I don't hate it, I just think this was really weak and had some plotholes here and there and some characters were annoying but overall I enjoyed watching it and you can too.

An emotional end to this thrilling arc. I could never thank Ufotable enough for the care they put into this show. Its astounding how much they love this work and show that through not only the animation but every little detail. The entertainment district arc is definitely a rollercoaster ride, so many ups and downs throughout every episode. Seeing all our heroes trying like crazy to beat these upper moon demons made it a joy to watch each week. Tanjiro of course being our main had tons of cool highlights. Facing Daki that first time holy hell, bleeding eyes and all he just wrecked her shit. Later with Uzui tag teaming Gyutaro and the exhilarating moments of that fight. The trio Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke all getting to fight together for the first time was awesome. Uzui himself had so many badass scenes. His fight against Gyutaro holy hell that was insane, idk how they made it look so good. Every episode was high class top tier work all around. Each individual character got more than one moment to shine which is something I love to see. Ufotable gave us some of the best animation I've ever seen in an anime period. Like these folks are the goats by a mile and a half. Just crazy how good this show looks even in smaller moments or when there's no action. You can tell that Ufotable has honed their craft of this show. They are absolutely dedicated to making demon slayer have the best adaptation possible and it shows in every second of the show. I could've have asked for more of this adaptation. Ufotable really got in their bag and delivered one of the best arcs in anime I've ever seen. Its a gem of a show and I'm glad to have been here to see it. 1000000000000000/100

Yes, the animation and art in this show is untouchable when it comes to quality. It's mind boggling to watch because of how they integrate CGI and 2D animation. But that's not the only reason I love this show. The character design is actually amazing, we may get distracted with how extreme Zenitsu and Inosuke are in terms of personality. You could say that's also because of Tanjirou's relaxed nature that makes them even more drastic. However when you really pay attention to the look and attitudes of the other characters you can tell a lot of creativity and context went into them. I LOVE Daki's design it was so fitting for the type of Arc it was. The story was also amazing, usually we can predict what will happen in a Shounen because they tend to follow a similar pattern but towards the end it became much harder to know what was going to happen. The situation actually feels "desperate" which is hard to pull off when we know the characters will live. But really I love it when a show can make me feel for the antagonist. When they can make me connect with someone I'm supposed to hate and that's what really makes this show for me.

Kimetsu no Yaiba is truly an outstanding anime. Yes, the story definitely have some flaws. It's repetitive and predictable. The characters keep having power ups like Dragon Ball, and so far most characters don`t have a deep characterization or development. That's why many people see this anime as a hollow story, meaningless, just fights and hyped moments. A simple story doesn't mean that it's bad. Nowadays, if a story is not complex, full of plot twists and mind-blowing worldbuilding, like AoT, then it's considered generic and bad. It all depends on what the purpose the author has for the story. If the story is done well (without so many plot holes and forced things) and accomplishes the author's message or purpose for the story, it's definitely AT LEAST good. Many complex stories have amazing plot twists and events, but just having a complex writing does not make a story good. A Place Further Than the Universe has a very simple story but manages to make a really big impact on the viewer. And Kimetsu no Yaiba is no exception. Although simple, it's beautiful. What truly excels in the writing is how well the author portrayed the central theme of this anime. We can clearly see that the theme is about family. Tanjiro and Nezuko's strong bond, Shinobu and her sister, Rengoku and his family, Uzui and his wives, and even the demons (Rui, Gyuutarou and Daki, etc.) show the strong love of family. All these stories and familial relationships accomplished the message the author wants to transmit. The message is "Family is there to be with you" or something along the line. Thus, it really left a big influence on me. There's really no need for a crazy plot, drama, and philosophical things to make a story good. KnY stayed simple and managed to transmit the author's message for the audience. The story by itself is definitely not enough for me to consider it a masterpiece. It's the combination of excellent writing, perfect animation, awesome OSTs, and brilliant direction that makes this a masterpiece. That's why I don't consider the manga THAT good. Many elitists always judge solely by the story and characters, although I consider these two as the most important aspects about an anime, but anime has more aspects to consider. *Minor spoilers of S2 episode 10* For example, the direction in episode 10 is brilliant, specially the end. When Tanjiro was struggling to breathe, I somewhat also felt the same feeling. The blurry vision and the fuzzy sound and scream from Uzui made me feel confused at what's really happening. It's really a way better experience than the manga. And all these factors from sound, animation, and direction really make KnY special.
