Spoiler-less, TL;DR, fast, simple, and easy-to-digest review: Hijinx, Shenanigans, EXPLOSION 9/10 Animation and Artstyle ++ Motion (Good): Mixed; Not on par with some greatest action scenes; As good as previous seasons. +++ Environment (Excellent): Maintained on what is established before but with new setting. +++ Style (Excellent): The art and the animation style are well suited together; Funni; As good as previous. Characters +++ Design (Excellent): You know them, you love them; New characters really stood out like sore thumbs, and I like it. + Characteristic (Ok): A bit low score on this because Wiz received significantly low screen time compared to previous seasons; New characters are okay at best. Princess Iris is your token brocon character yet better than most siscons. +++ Voice Acting (Excellent): "Freeeeeze" - Kazuma. This alone is enough to warrant high voice acting score. +++ Memorability (Excellent): You wouldn't forget them. Like seriously, you wouldn't. Well you'll forget some minor characters, but most of them are memorable... they all stand out across three seasons. Story +++ Premise (Excellent): Consistent yet kept evolving; Cannot and will not understand this anime without watching the previous 2 seasons. + Plot (Ok): Season 2's plot was way better and way more high stakes; Not the best but funni anyway. ++ Pacing (Good): Fast - like CoD-style breakneck speed omni-movement fast; There are some slow moments but fast anyway. ++ Theme (Good): Well established and maintained; You don't even know that this is an isekai anymore; Kazuma is fully integrated in the world now. OST + OP (Ok): First season OP was way better. This feels like the song is too bright and colorful and no hint of funnyness. Almost as if I assumed this is performed by Poppin'Party from BanG Dream. ++ In-Anime (Good): Used same OST as previous seasons. They are all placed perfectly in moment-to-moment scenes. ++ ED (Good): Ah yes the country/farmer-themed ED. Consisted as always. Feels like you gone home and rested well from shenanigans you experienced from that day. Quality of Life +++ Enjoyability (Excellent): Funni and fun! ++ Replayability (Good): Ep 7 Wiz moment and her Ep 10 cutesy vibe >_< pls more Wiz screentime next season.

This anime may have a very unstable plot but is still quite entertaining. This is my review for the overall series including the movie. This anime is the only anime that I've currently watched that was actually funny at times. One thing that caught me off guard was the stunning animation quality throughout the series. I would even go as far and say that this anime has the 6th or 7th best animation. This anime was a good watch, and I will definitely recommend it to someone who just wants a chill watch. Plot:1.9/10 World Building:2/10 MC:6/10 Side Characters:5/10 Antagonists:1/10 Voice Actors:5.6/10 Music:4/10 Overall Rating: 7.3/10

KonoSuba: Even God's Screaming in This Wonderful World! 3 This season is an improvement and a step back in some areas, I'll start with the positives. Kono Suba 3 is an improvement in the characterization of darkness. I HATED her in 1 and 2, but season 3 has moved on from her only lines being to say the "please beat me" joke to a double-sided coin: serious and "teasing of words" character where the coin flips sides depending on what's appropriate in the scenario - I like this darkness. She shines 10 fold as a believable character who's actually likable while keeping her lewd side under wraps till the moment strikes. The world-building in Kono Suba 3 is also a step up, events actually have consequences that affect how the story turns out, well done. Now for the negative. The show is in a weird state with tropes. If you dont know Kono Suba is a show that makes fun of typical tropes found in anime. but what makes it weird in S3 is that it's now troping itself. I dont mean it's making fun of the tropes it made, Im saying the show now has tropes exclusive to itself. For example, irony poisoning. It's like a rule for kono suba: any sincerity or seriousness has to be retorted with some dumb quip. Why even try to have these moments if you're just going to throw them away? I feel so disappointed every time it happens, and the best part is that it happens every damm time, it's so bad. It's so afraid to be genuine and it kills me because I feel for these characters and the writers take a fat sloppy poo on ALL OF IT. Aqua is put on the shelf for this season, she is relegated to screaming, and 90% of her script is screaming. Is there anything more to say because it's just: 'high E pitch noise' the character. That poor, poor voice actor. god bless your soul. Back to tropes, 70% of the jokes devolve into two characters screaming at each other while one shakes the other. In fact, there is a music cue that is played every SINGLE TIME. All of the jokes that made me laugh never ended in a screaming match. Loud does not equal funny. Overall alright, I dont think it's good enough for a 2nd watch anytime soon. but I do see it as an improvement over 2. Darkness FTW

Pretty good as always, Konosuba never disappoints. It is one of the funniest series I've ever seen, and the plot works sometimes. The series is great, but I think the quality of each scene varies too greatly from a 5/10 to a 10/10: there are some scenes that I think should have been played for comedy, but that were played for drama instead, and I think overall the series should embrace more of comedy, as it is not as proficient at drama. Also I think there were some obvious jokes that the writers missed somehow. There is a scene in which one of the characters brings a giant frog to a party and it starts trashing the place, but we only hear it as a conversation in the background while Kasuma is outside the room. Later in the same scene, Kasuma comes back to the room, and this would have been the perfect moment to reintroduce the joke and the giant frog, but it never happened; which is a shame as I think it would've been hilarious to see the frog come back, and a great example of set up and pay off - and there are quite a few similar moments in this season. The same goes for the plot, some moments felt like the plot had an obvious amazing direction to take, but it went the completely other way - which was still good, just not as good. Overall, I recommend Konosuba a lot. But if you (somehow) don't like this style of comedy, then maybe you won't enjoy the series, as it focuses mostly on comedy.

One of the best isekai series with, great humour, well-used Cliché's and Good parody world building. After a long time later, Konosuba is back with it' s greatest form. Not a masterpiece, but i'm sure you can die from laughter and way too much emotions you can't explain. If anyone was searching for one of the best iseaki, Although it is a parody, it counts as isekai, they are missed this gem or they don' t give a chance because of the ecchi content. There is no disturbing ecchi content like fan service, everything is just for humour. From the music to the plot. There are not the best plot-twists, Neither the best animation or other things. But there is one of the best parody anime.

Honestly I didn't like season 3 as much as the first two but it was still enjoyable, I think its because it was more of a linear story this season which left less room for the more bit oriented structure of the previous seasons. Besides that though it was still good fun, lots of jokes and classic hijinks. I liked the castle arc more than Darkness wedding arc, I think if you're gonna take away a main character like Darkness for the majority of the arc they could've gotten something to fill the spot but at least that got resolved. Not much else to say about this season though, just hoping its not a 7 year wait for season 4.

I did not like it, and I think neither will the fans who loved the previous seasons. The earlier seasons felt like a genuine experiment: "let's put these chaotic characters in an isekai world and see what happens." That setup naturally resulted in organic, absurd comedy that landed in creative ways. Now, the mindset has clearly shifted to "let's just make a slapstick comedy show." I am not sure if it is due to the studio change, staff change, or the change in times, but it has become a shouting match that genuinely felt more annoying than funny at times. The newer episodes feel less like a natural continuation and more like a loud caricature of what the show used to be. Instead of the sharp, witty subversion of tropes that made the original run so memorable, the humor now relies on characters simply yelling their lines or exaggerating their reactions to get a cheap laugh. It mistakes volume for comedy. When a series replaces clever, situational writing with non-stop screaming, the characters quickly lose their charm and just become irritating to watch.

Binged watched all three seasons, and it was great. This isekai differs from the usual gooner bait in that it's a parody of the common overdone tropes in the genre. The male protagonist still gets killed by Truck-kun but still manages to become a loser surrounded by even bigger losers. The female protagonists are all meant to be disliked, with no appealing characteristics that would make your average teen shonen gooner to simp for them, like the average isekai. Yet the female characters are all very well written, with tons of teens simping for the unholy trinity of Megimum, Darkness and Aqua, not despite their flaws but because of their flaws. All three waifus and gooner bait are meant to be despised, yet the waifus score in the top 25 of all time on Mywaifulist. This further proves how well written the characters are with a small hint of fan service.

A very good season, it has a quality standard equal to the Konosuba movie in my opinion, I think the studio can handle this work very well and this season was no different, the comedy scenes are very good, it is one of the few animes that makes me genuinely laugh. The animation quality is sensational, the characters' faces are so well drawn that they became memes all over the internet because they are so funny lol. Since I had already read up to this part of the work in the manga, there was nothing that surprised me in this season, but even without this feeling of surprise I managed to have fun watching the anime because it brought me back to the Konosuba atmosphere, the dubbing of the characters is also wonderful, even with your eyes closed you can discern what emotion the characters are going through. One of the best comedy animes I have ever seen, this season is a golden continuation, I would easily watch it again. Overall I really liked it, I gave it a solid score of 8 because I thought it was a very good comedy, so much so that if I were to analyze it only for the comedy the work would be worth a 10 but as it is not just a comedy that an anime is about I rate it with 8 because I didn't find the opening captivating and the animation style of some characters is so-so (not that this hinders the work), hence an 8.

THIS IS A SPOILER-FREE REVIEW Konosuba has had a very solid run so far: The first season introduced a loveable cast of characters witch great chemistry, the second one expanded on that and the movie was probably the funniest anime movie i have ever seen. After some time, we finally got a third season, but can the series still keep it´s momentum after all these years? Story – 8/10 The story has actually improved a lot structure-wise. While seasons one and two mostly felt like an amalgamation of little mini-arcs, this season clearly splits between two arcs, probably the two light novels it is adapting. This felt like a natural follow-up to the pattern we have seen before: After establishing all of our main characters earlier, the author now uses the longer arcs to lay focus on single characters, giving them huge chunks of character development. I really liked the first arc, set in the royal capital, a lot. Konosuba is still considered to be one of the most consistently funny shows in the seasonal anime cycle, and for good reason. The timing of the jokes is perfect, the new characters are a ton of fun and you can absolutely feel that the voice actors really gave it their all. Kazumas magical attacks are so unbelievably stupid, everything about his fighting style is just a joy to watch. The second arc of this season surprised me because it went with a slower, more emotional storyline that actually worked really well, because you can definitely take it seriously, even though the series never lets go of it´s inherently comedic nature. This still feels really fresh, especially for a third season! Art – 8/10 I actually think the art has probably improved a bit since the beginning. A lot of these Isekai shows kind of always looks the same, and Konosuba is, for the most part, no exception. What sets this show apart from other members of it´s genre are the wide ranges of expressions our characters show. The visuals do soooo much for comedic timing, and make the jokes even funnier than before. I also think that the fights look pretty cool. While not being very dynamic, i think the effects animation is done really well, so is the CGI. Sound – 7/10 This mostly consists of your typical Isekai OST. The OP is fantastic and catchy. When I saw it the first time, I was instantly pulled back into this shows unique and comedic atmosphere. The ED sounded weirdly nostalgic and was extremely funny. The sound design deserves extra praise here. Whoever had the idea to edit Kazumas voice during his magic chants deserves a huuuuge raise. I never laughed out that loud to a show in a long time. Characters – 8/10 Kazuma still stands as one of the funniest protagonists ever. The whole crew has an amazing amount of chemistry and their banter is just a blast to hear every single time. Kazuma is still the standout in this season, however, the one who surprised me the most was actually Darkness. She gets a whole arc to herself, giving her some much needed development. The villains, although pretty generic, were a lot of fun as well. There is still room for improvement though: After Megumi got a lot of focus in the movie, Aqua is now the least developed character and it really shows. For the next season, I hope we get an Aqua arc to kinda even things out a bit. Enjoyment - 8/10 This is one of the most consistently enjoyable shows. I will definitely watch all of the following seasons, and i really hope that this show continues longer, maybe even adapting the rest of the light novels which are already finished by this point. If you just want a good laugh and funny characters, this is the series for you! - Marco_Yooo FINAL SCORE - 8/10

+ Like previous seasons of Konosuba, it's a strong dose of comedy with a hint of heart! + Compared to last year's Megumin spin-off, the mainline Konosuba series is much stronger by comparison. The balance of the main cast better accentuates the comedy, where competing interests (often selfish and perverse in nature) lead to hilarious hijinks. Even when some jokes don't land, the chemistry of the main charaacters is able to carry the energy throughout the show. + It's nice that Konosuba remains earnest in its thematic goals: yes, it's a parody of Isekai and harem anime, but it also has a few sincere, emotional moments. + Lalatina fans rejoice, we're getting a Darkness-centric main story arc! It's refreshing to get more backstory and character development from our resident masochist crusader, especially after an entire spin-off and movie focusing exclusively on Megumin (granted, Megumin is a really fun character and I have nothing against her, but I enjoy seeing what else Konosuba has to offer as well). = Konosuba's 3rd season could stand to be a bit more profound and cathartic. But calling out Konosuba for not being more emotionally enriching is like complaining about the lack of nutrition in an ice cream sundae. It's a show that expands on the story from previous seasons, while retaining its easygoing structure and playful spirit; it's hard to imagine anyone who wouldn't enjoy Konosuba at least a little.

Discovering KonoSuba introduced me to the wonderful world of Isekai anime, and I'm forever grateful. Who would've thought those Facebook memes would lead me to my favorite series? This season, Megumin and Kazuma's relationship blossomed, and their awkward moments had me squealing with delight. Indirect confessions, blushing, and heartwarming interactions - it's like the anime knew exactly how to tug at my heartstrings. Vanir, the lovable demon, added comedic gold alongside Wiz, while Darkness's backstory revealed a deeper side to her character. And Aqua? She's still the queen of silliness, mischief, and adorable baby faces. What I love most about KonoSuba is its ability to balance humor and heart. The gang's antics, from racking up debt to getting sidetracked, had me laughing out loud. Yet, the series tackles meaningful themes like friendship, growth, and vulnerability. With only 11 episodes, I was worried they'd rush the story, but Studio Drive nailed it. The pacing is impeccable, and every moment counts. Now, I'm eagerly awaiting Season 4 or a movie to cover the remaining manga content. A Kazuma-Megumin wedding would be the perfect conclusion! Highlights: - Megumin x Kazuma development - Vanir's hilarious antics - Darkness's backstory - Aqua's endless silliness - Perfect pacing Lowlights: - Only 11 episodes (left me craving more) Rating Breakdown: - Story: 9.5/10 - Characters: 10/10 - Animation: 10/10 - Soundtrack: 9/10 - Overall: 10/10

comedy anime to watch alone without your parents pr girlfiend ok guys, the third season is back after 7 years and its kinda fun but let be honest, we original fans are older and we are mature with girlfriends and jobs and this is not fun for us anymore, its cringe now and that's ok it's not that's why im speaking in behalf of my little 15 year brother and he loved this show guys, He says the main four characters are funny and there is some interesting scenes made for the horny teens, he said this is a very light and a funny experience and that's not too deep, he said that the main character can be annoying 8/10.he says is a solis time for 15-20 year olds

Story (6) : Honestly, I prefer the previous season of Konosuba. This season feels very slow-paced, and the adventure and action, which are crucial for an isekai series, are lacking. The previous season had the excitement of defeating the Demon King's Army, which kept things engaging. However, this time, the focus has shifted to less necessary and somewhat unreasonable elements, which detracts from the overall experience. That said, the humor still carries the show, making it a bit boring but still okay to watch. For an isekai adventure, the lack of action and the slow-paced story are disappointing, but it remains entertaining due to its comedic moments. Characters (7) : I still like the characters, especially Kazuma and Vanir. The introduction of a few new characters is quite good, but most of the characters this season are new due to the situation, and the old characters don’t get enough screen time. For an isekai adventure, the lack of action and the slow-paced story are disappointing, but it remains entertaining due to its comedic moments and the charm of the characters. Visual (8) : The visuals here are good, but because there is a lack of action or magic, they focus more on the environment, character design, etc. The magic effects are also good, such as explosions, but that's because there is a lack of action in this anime, so there aren't many characters who use magic in this anime. Audio (7) : The OST and ending are pretty good, then what I definitely respect is the voice actors because they have to scream to get the comedy, then the sound effects and OST are also good.

This season of Konosuba was a step up from earlier seasons and even the movie in some regards. My biggest gripe with a show like Konosuba is ironically the sexual humor, and to my liking, there was little to be had in this season. It may be a solid reason as to why I found this to be more enjoyable. Not to say all sexual humor isn't funny, as the only sexual humor scene I've ever actually laughed at was in this season, but usually I don't like it in my shows. That aside, the two overarching stories in this season were primarily for Darkness but extended to the whole cast as well. Another one of my gripes with this show was Darkness herself, who had not evolved in the slightest and the only jokes she was good for were sexual ones. Her taking centerstage made me a bit uneasy but they handled it extremely well and I actually cared about her by the end. It also showed that this was the best Konosuba has been from a narrative perspective. The entire season proved to me that both the edge and the chemistry has not diluted in the slightest. I appreciated that the growing relationships in the party aren't being ignored or postponed in any dumb and poorly written way like most other shows do with romance involved, it feels natural and organic in how far along we are in the story. Overall really enjoyed this season and it now sits comfortably as the best Konosuba has to offer so far with its action, humor, worldbuilding, character building, and everything in between.
Somali_Strawhat
Konosuba has always walked that tightrope of being a show about irredeemable assholes and a show about a bunch of people learning how to become a family, albeit a misfit dysfunctional one. This season like the other 2 made me remember why I get so excited hearing news related to this franchise. My only major critique is that its more of the same. However, thats not necessarily a bad thing. The final episodes lay into the emotional stakes tying this adventuring party together, all the while making you laugh so as to not be too dour. Its not the kind of show in which a severe tragedy is actually going to occur, Konosuba isn't aiming for serious drama. Its maybe a dramedy, a farcical one at that. And thats for the best. I enjoy how derpy the faces get when they are off model, and the Konosuba character designs operate off a shared visual shorthand for character expressions that I've become accustomed to. The OP/ED are well storyboarded and animated. And the VAs kill it as per usual. I wish it was 12 episodes instead of 11, but honestly complaining about wanting more of a good thing is hardly a critique. If you're seriously debating as to whether or not to watch this season...stop lying, no you're not. Who watches 2 seasons and a movie but then has a debate about the third season? In fact, who is this review even for? New viewers? Who would start a series on season 3???

KonoSuba is the kind of series that never manages to get stale. It’s consistently a funny watch, and like many great comedy shows, I chalk that up to a central cast that is just firing on all cylinders when it comes to how terrible and yet surprisingly relatable they are… well, except for Aqua. This season, the situations they find themselves in are varied and entertaining enough as always, but if I had to nit-pick a bit, it does feel like it’s lacking more in the whole group dynamic. Characters spend large portions of the season apart, and though the settings can be entertaining and meaningful, it does feel like it misses opportunities to make the most of its cast. I love Kazuma, but he needs his girls to balance out some of his worst tendencies, and having Darkness spend much of the season as the one keeping everyone else in line was interesting, but meant she wasn’t super entertaining this time around. Granted, her role as a masochist can get a little stale, and her role drives much of the plot of the latter half of the season, so it’s not bad by any means. And, yeah, the plot itself is just a vehicle for more hilarious situations. Whether we’re crashing a wedding, playing Gotta Catch ‘Em All with some magical items from previously isekai’d humans, fighting a massive hydra day after day, or just hanging out with some royals, the series finds lots of opportunities to keep the laughs coming. Occasionally, they’re tempered with a serious moment or two, but this season knows its strengths and generally sticks to them. Still, at the end of the day, this season does feel like it’s missing something. It’s not so much in its moments, but in its bigger presentation. I think KonoSuba is at its best when it’s offering opportunities to build out the world in crazy and insane ways, and much as its smaller stories are still fertile ground for the series to get its laughs, I don’t think this season did much for the broader narrative. I love learning about the isekai’d fucks ups and what they did in their time in this world. I love learning about the Demon King’s Generals and what crazy nonsense they’re up to (or being subjected to). This season seems like it’s teeing up more of that in the future but feels lackluster in those elements. I still love it all the same.

Entertainment: 9/10 Only the entertainment criteria is used for scoring since that's the most important aspect for me Art style: It was good, similar to previous seasons with a little more characters introduced Characters: Pretty good, aside from ur usual 4 main characters they added a bit more to fill in the content Plot: I found the plot a lot shorter than usual, with the hydra fight and the wedding ceremony being the main spotlight Sound: the opening and ending was good, as expected from konosuba Entertainment: Really enjoyed the anime overall 9/10 Overall a fun anime to watch for this season have a bit of laugh every week

Let's go then... Animation: 8/10 - I think it maintained a standard, that is, a level and I hope that in the next seasons it will be for the better. Characters: 10/10 - I love each of the members of this group, especially Kazuma who makes me laugh the most, each one has their own different way and are clearly not normal people and this brings funny situations in different ways, even more interacting with the secondary characters that emerge during each new situation. Story: 8/10 - The adventures of this different group continue to be very good and always feature new characters that add to the story and some other already known characters that can never fail to appear to make everything even more interesting, particularly I found it very entertaining, hoping for more seasons. For those who like a good mood, you already know that Kono Suba never disappoints, at least until then!
