Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki Part 2
現実主義勇者の王国再建記
How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom Part 2
CyberXane
This anime has been very interesting through and through. If you've seen part 1 or just happen to come across this review without watching part 1 then I'd recommend this anime. It goes into the politics of making a kingdom successful and makes it entertaining. Now there isn't really a big climatic ending, but none the less this anime has kept me entertained and taught me a ton of things. There are flaws such as introducing some characters that really don't play much of a part in the story. Though they try, but after hearing about the little wolf girl I was kinda expecting her to play a big part because of her abilities, but they kinda just made her a sister and left it at that. So yeah it definitely has it's flaws, but the world building is interesting, so I'd recommend it. I rank it a 7/10

Epic, Awesome, Amazing, Wonderful, Out of this World, Woah. What more can I say? I just wish for a Season 3!!!! The anime is outstanding since Season 1 I really like how they took care of their pacing and did not rush anything at all, but do everything in order explaining all that needs to be explained, I do not find their vast amount of information tiring at all, but rather I am in awe of the dedication and hard work they poured in it. Each of the characters, especially Souma is outstanding. The story is amazing. Again I want to say this I wish for a Season 3!!!

There is a lot left with this show. Needs to be a 3rd season to fill in the holes from the first 2 seasons. Does he marry all the girls? Do they talk to the Deamons? What happens to the kingdom, will it move into the industrial age? What about the Girl and the Knight that were to get married, did the research lab get built? I have seen all the episodes more than once and would not want to think I wasted my time if it ends here. I did like it just would like more of the story so much left unsaid or unseen. With that being said, I very much recommend for anyone that likes the non-overpowered MC, besides I already see to many of them as it is, but that is for another review.

Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki Part 2 (2022) We had a good 7/8 until episode 13 came along and ruined the entire show with its mediocre display of absolutely pointless and unneeded expansion of a story arc that makes no real sense to include. Such vital information being withheld and theories that no one ever thought of. The story started getting a bit wacky but that took the biscuit. The story is a continuation that gets more harem and less action in regards to the storyline. They seem to have given up with the meaningful expansion of making everything better in place of getting the harem going. Demons, what demons? The art is good mostly but can be a bit droopy at times. The OP and ED are fine, generally sound is okay and the voices are fine. The characters develop but into more of an OMG! get me pregnant first way instead of the storyline with the evil demons on their way. Episode 13 crashed it from an 8 to a 5 for me. Totally pointless and ruined what was an okay time. 5/10.

I really wanted to like this but the amount of focus this show has on the harem elements completely degrades any actual progression of the plot. I can tolerate a good amount of it, but when the pacing shifts from somehow things finding themselves to revolve around some girl that for whatever reason finds some kind of appeal in the most boring "realist" protagonist of all time, it starts to look feel like that's the only thing the writer of this slop actually cares about. However, there are a few saving graces which is why I've labeled this at Mixed Feelings. The first half of this show is pretty decent, it establishes some decent world building and builds some of the characters up to your normal generic isekai level. The concept and applications of politics, government, and finance are all pretty good. But once we pass that threshold, the characters regress back into plot devices to uplift the protagonist for zero reason. If you're bored watch it. But just go watch genius prince instead, it's the same concept but executed significantly better.

I almost didn't watch season 2 because I didn't really enjoy season 1. I'm glad I actually came around to it because it was a great step up from season 1. Art and sound were solid and consistent to season 1, but the main thing that stepped this season up was the characters and story. I already knew I enjoyed the characters and the cast only grows larger and more interesting this season. Some characters wind up getting pushed to the side but I didn't really mind it too much as they still do have a presence and show back up later in the show. The plot was fantastic. The side story from season 1 gets resolved satisfyingly and we get an interesting set of developments that I never could have seen coming. As much as I enjoy fighting shows I think this was the first in a long time that I legitimately enjoyed without such. Unfortunately the main issue with this plot is it has so much to cover it leaves some threads midseason and never comes back to them again, which if a season 3 comes out hopefully they do address. I also want to point out that the somewhat weird romance/relationship only becomes even more awkward early into the season, and frustratingly so.

This anime is quite the odd addition to the Iseki genre. On the one hand, it follows many of the tropes existing in other Iseki works, and on the other hand, it tries to add new perspectives and interpretations to the genre. The good parts where the anime excels will probably focus on the premise, which removes the battle aspect of the usual "beat the demon-lord singlehandedly" and makes the knowledge of the MC that was summoned from another world the unique power that he possesses. The anime mentions, on more than one occasion, that the role of the hero is to change the world, something that he successfully achieved by unconventional, unexpected means while utilizing knowledge, rather than brawn. Of course, the anime falls apart by relying too much on philosophy and simplistic interpretation of economy and politics to bring one-dimensional solutions to the rather varied problems encountered in the series. The writing presents no limit to anything that Souma knows and understands. He is portrayed as an expert on anything from economy to diplomacy ending in military tactics. The explanation of "he reads a lot," "he was preparing to be a civil servant," and "he comes from a world where most of this knowledge is commonplace" doesn't actually work in many instances and slowly stretches the suspension of disbelief. Very quickly the show falls into many of the tropes existing in other Iseki works. No one can stop praising him for his ideas - all ideas and every man will envy him and every woman will want to be with him. This is especially tiresome when those ideas should be commonplace understanding to anyone living in that world. As for his characteristics, he has no distinguishable ideology or set of principles. Just a random collection of philosophies that aim to serve as a solution to the current predicament. In one instance he is ruthless, and in the other, he is overly kind and he operates based on contradicting philosophies, because the situation demands it or that he believes it demands it. The other characters can be summarized in one sentence each and don't have complex characteristics or interesting motivations. They just serve as storytelling tools and usually as something that Souma can talk to while explaining the various ideas. (Spoilers ahead) The show also fails with the antagonist(s), at the end of the first season, there is an entire war plot that relies solely on the opponents being incompetent, even though the country focuses mainly on its military. The story revolves around a foreign country trying to annex territory while utilizing corrupt nobles from Elfrieden. It tells the audience that the ruler of this military centered nation will stand by waiting for the city to decide whether they submit to his rule for about three days, while he sits on his hands the entire time and while the tide may turn against him if and when the issue with the corrupt nobility is handled. It's also unclear how that nation's government operates, with a nobility that can just be done away with, a prime minister existing without an actual government other than the rule of the monarch, and with no clear or distinguishable officials that do the work. Everything is coming from the king and is being implemented immediately without any notion of procedures that takes time to implement. There is also the issue that the story of the first two seasons happens in the span of 6 months during which time Souma managed to change economical policies, be in a civil war, solve any arising issue by himself, and travel to other nations. So, is it a bad anime? No. It's just a disappointing one, where there is a good premise and a good direction to tell that premise, but falls apart for the many tropes and lack of character motivations as well as making Souma do everything. The show is neither boring nor tedious to watch and highlights some very interesting problems that could have been solved better.

Another "Fantasy Isekai with a harem". This would not be an inaccurate way to describe this show. However, this show stands out as a "feel good" story. The main protagonist is just another dude, but unlike a lot of protagonists, he's highly intelligent, rational, and hardworking. And the entire show involves him doing good things in a highly logical manner, caring for other people but knowing when to show strength and even brutality for the betterment of the kingdom and its people. One might view this Isekai as an ultimate male fantasy story. A story where a normal guy rises to the top through hard work, intelligence and decency, and is rewarded with a good life and good female companionship. Which he does not abuse. This is what makes the show so enjoyable. It's a story of success and happiness. It's what most guys would dream about their life being. You work hard, you try to be nice, caring, respectful, and you want to find success and happiness. And this show gives us just that. There's no amazing mind twisting story, outstanding animations or sound, or incredibly complex characters. Everything is just solid. But the show leaves me satisfied and happy that for once, the entire world didn't implode every episode with non-stop betrayals, backstabbings and tragedies one after another. It's just a nice success story. I think we need those among the Attack on Titan's and Demon Slayers.

first season was better and except the final last 5 episodes didint offer anything im little bit dissapointed but still love the show. The 12th episode was completly blank page, really was the worst episode of the series and 8th episode is the 2nd worst but i can hardly say 13th ep is the best ep and all those reviews goes for both seasons. I loved first half as story and still as i say love the show so my approach may seem too possitive but i belive this anime one of the must watch isekais so im giving 8
