Ele começa como se fosse um especial inédito, apresentando uma pequena introdução, mas logo abandona essa ideia para virar um recap comentado do anime. Quando você acha que já entendeu o formato, ele muda de novo e passa a funcionar como uma espécie de guia ou enciclopédia, trazendo informações sobre diversos Pokémon.
