An ONA that is exactly my type; fun and entertaining. As an avid fan of MHA, waiting for the sixth season was too hard but this saves me time to optimize and offer a good kind of vibes from the tense fighting scenes in the original story. The overpowered baseball game was wholesome and hilarious. I also like that the animators decided to give the full screentime to the supporting characters during the baseball episode. The Mr. Smiley episode was on another level of taking laughter into power. It’s an amusing glimpse to witness that characters like Bakugo and Endeavor are laughing out loud. Boku no hero is incomplete without showcasing Deku’s kindness that utilizes to overcome a conflict situation. He’s so cute and sincere that made him one of my favorite anime characters of all time. Both Season 5 ONAs, Hero League Baseball, and Laugh! As if You are in Hell, succeeded in bringing an impressive entertainment factor to someone who misses the fun moments from the anime. Can’t wait for the next season!

If you don't mind filler academia then I'm sure you're gonna enjoy this one, as did I. THee first episode is baseball centric, an intense game between the teachers and some students, I don't personally like baseball but there was still fun to be had. I think that the second episode is really what his ONA is about. Mr. Smiley is probably one of the best an most OP heroes to be introduced, the man can make anyone laugh historically for 2 hours, think about abdomen pain, sheesh. THe ole fact that we get otherwise serious characters to smile goofily is what makes this all worth it.

These 2 episodes are a nice change from what's happening in the show, these episodes are funny, relaxing, and heartwarming. We get to see the characters being silly and team up with other Heros that we haven't had the chance of seeing yet (or seen very little of their abilities). Episode 1: Contains a lot of funny moments that me laugh, the character pick for this episode was a really good choice and makes sense story-wise. The animation is bright and colourful (as usual), it seems like a lot is happening on screen and sometimes it is a bit overwhelming but then it'll change suddenly and it's chill. Episode 2: Similar to episode 1, this fits in with what's happening in the show but is filled with less tension. There is some action and it was nice to watch, the fighting is always engaging since it's so different for each character. But, again sometimes it feels a bit too much at once on screen. Overall, it's a nice change of pace from what's happening in the show as we get to see the characters being themselves and interacting with one another will always make me laugh!

Yeah, it's only an ONA, but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Nothing too special or important, just a short and fun watch if you want to spend a little more time with the characters. It's completely skippable, though. You won't really miss anything important if you decide not to watch it, so I wouldn't say it's something every My Hero Academia fan needs to see. Still, for what it is, I found it enjoyable enough. Honestly, I didn't expect much from it in the first place, and maybe that's why I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. It doesn't do anything groundbreaking, but it was fun, simple, and a nice little extra.

A baseball special? I admit that when I found out this My Hero Academia ONA was basically a baseball game, I was taken aback. It’s the kind of special that clearly isn't essential to the main story and exists solely as casual entertainment for the franchise's fans. The premise is simple: pro heroes, U.A. students, and other familiar characters play a baseball game, using their Quirks to turn an ordinary sport into a real spectacle. The idea actually has the potential for creative moments and funny scenes, especially when imagining how a traditional sport would work in a world where practically everyone has superpowers. The animation is competent and maintains the series' expected standard. The action sequences during the game are well-directed, and some abilities are used in quite creative ways. The special also takes the opportunity to have characters from different classes and agencies interact, something that always pleases a segment of the audience. The problem is that, for me, it’s nothing more than a novelty. It lacks any real narrative interest. There is no significant conflict, character development, or event that justifies dedicating nearly forty minutes to this concept. It is literally a baseball game from start to finish, which makes the special feel disposable. I also have to admit that my lack of interest in the sport heavily influences my experience. Baseball fans might better appreciate the references and the game's dynamics, whereas I simply couldn't get invested. At several points, I was just waiting for something more interesting to happen, but that was never the special's goal. Furthermore, my relationship with My Hero Academia isn't the same since the manga ended. Revisiting extra material like this ends up stirring up some frustration, as I recall the series' immense potential and how (in my opinion) many ideas didn't get the development I had hoped for. This inevitably affects how I perceive this kind of side content. Even so, I acknowledge there is a certain charm to the concept. It is fun to see how an ordinary sporting event is adapted for a universe filled with Quirks. This kind of expansion of everyday life helps make the series' world feel a bit more alive, even if only in a superficial way. Ultimately, this is a special made exclusively for fans who want to spend a little more time with the characters, without any connection to the main storyline. If you enjoy the cast and are just looking for a lighthearted, casual episode, you might have fun with it. If you are looking for something relevant to the narrative, however, you can safely skip this ONA without missing a thing. Raiting: 5/10. Nota: 5/10.
