Seriously though, this anime - Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible is a gem! Kubo's adorable face and smile have me swooning every time. The show's premise is so relatable - who hasn't felt invisible at some point? But Kubo sees Shiraishi, and she's determined to make him visible to the world. I love how the show balances humor and heart, tackling deeper themes like loneliness and self-discovery. The characters are well-developed and complex, with amazing growth throughout the season. The animation is stunning, with insane attention to detail. And the soundtrack? Perfect! If you haven't watched this anime yet, give it a try. Trust me, you won't regret it. It's a hidden gem.

Super fluffy and cute romance about a boy without any presence taken over the top like he can tap someone in the shoulder and they would have no idea and a girl that see him and can make them see him and lot of innocent teasing. The art is a 10 and op and ed are bops all around their is no third wheels and all the characters did their jobs. Wholesome!!! One of the best romance that i have seen. I literally have no idea what to write the concept is straightforward and simple i just need to extend this review to upload it :cries: The story is a fluffy romance and is predictable and I enjoy it for that reason. Good art slurp

Story: The plot is basic, its about a boy named Shiraishi, who struggles in being noticed by people to the point he's invisible, but his life is slowly turned around by Kubo-san who is the only one (excluding her sister and cousin) who can see him, thus developing a friendship/romantic relationship throughout the anime. I'd say that the anime isn't that memorable compared to most animes I've watched like ngl, I easily forgot how the first episode went until the later episodes. There isn't really anything special about it besides the basic wholesomeness that isn't really heartfelt. Animation: The animation is very good, I love how the art shifts from the normal drawings to cutesy chibi artstyle all throughout. The movements are also good. OST + Opening and Ending: The music is decent, but in my opinion, the op and ed aren't that catchy or prominently special. Characters + Designs: The character designs aren't that special as well, very average looking. Shiraishi's design is very similar to Tadano from Komi-san. Nothing else to say. However, the only character that I dislike is Kubo's older sister; she keeps teasing Shiraishi and is too observant of everything around which isn't a good thing for me, cuz it's as if she knows exactly what happened as if she has "god's view of some sort". AND I hate that time she tried to seduce Shiraishi with her big-ass tits outs when she was drunk like girl, STOP. Overall: This anime isn't something I'd recommend, it's very slow-paced and it's similar to Takagi-san minus the "chirpy vibe" if that makes sense. But, for those who like simple romance animes, then this is for you.

I've read all of the manga, and I'm happy to say that they nailed the adaptation! It's clear to me that the studio knew what made the manga as good as it is, and the choices they made in this adaptation reflects that. First off, this anime just feels so dreamy and calming in its presentation. The generally cool color tone of the art, the dramatic but tasteful flourishes of the soundtrack, the relatively slow pace of each scene; all of it combines perfectly. It somehow feels relaxing and cheerful at the same time. I also enjoy the occasional cutesy and comedic stylistic changes just as much. It's a very pleasant experience overall. Most of the anime focuses on the main two characters, Kubo and Shiraishi, interacting with each other, and they made it feel like these two are in their own world, which fits the story very well. Shiraishi's "invisible mob syndrome" makes him pretty much impossible to notice, except to Kubo. One could say that it's love born out of curiosity. It's lovely to see how Shiraishi grows to appreciate her presence, and also seeing Kubo's endearing approach to make him open up to her more. The supporting cast is also great, but I'm just gonna mention one: I would be remissed if I don't talk about cute Shiraishi's little brother is. The anime portrays it to great lengths, which I adore. I guess the closest thing that I got to a complaint is that it's structurally derivative and doesn't break new ground in the high school romcom niche. For me, it stands out because of the easygoing approach in telling its love story, and how it manages to be funny without being too wacky. In a lot of romcom anime, I feel like the romance can be overly cheesy, or overshadowed by silly comedic scenes. Not to mention fan service aspects souring the wholesomeness. This anime is certainly not like that, and its how I felt about the manga too. I really hope we get another season from the same studio.

This show is full of squishy faces. The idea of being invisible to all except for a certain someone (or her family, specifically the Kubo's) is enjoyable. The art style is what defines this show. It was made intentionally cute the same as the art style on the manga. It was adapted beautifully. The plot was predictable. On the first episode, you could say that Nagisa Kubo tells to herself "He's the one". Junta Shiraishi was decent, he's somewhat dense and predictable. Side characters are introduced pretty well, as they influence the story of the two main characters. On the romance part, it feels lacking. It feels more like a friendship at start, but it definitely shows on the last. You can't change the source material, unfortunately. Overall, the show is good. Have a cute art style, and good plot. The ending feels like it needs a season 2 though.

Kubo-san won't let me be invisible is about our protagonist junta shirashi who is more of a background character which makes colleagues and teachers alike unable to notice him but only one person can, the adorable nagisa Kubo. The series on the adventures of this generation unique and cute couple, though elements of it's plot have been seen before. It adds more style to it. I have seen those compare this anime to the likes of nagatoro or takagi-san,it's plot seems similar but it's executed uniquely and more charming. I hope people give this anime a chance, please do, I can't wait for the second season.

#Kubolucubatbouz ENG : One of the absolute CUTEST romance anime out there, it literally depicts every introvert's ultimate daydream lmao. Completely impossible to happen in real life, but whatever the whole season basically shows Kubo teasing the innocent Shiraishi as they navigate high school life together. Honestly leaves you screaming "WHEN IS IT MY TURN?!" every single episode ksksksks. The plot follows a classic slice of life romance pace, focusing on their daily interactions and the silly things they do mostly Kubo being playful with a super clueless Shiraishi. The romance isn't cringe at all because it never feels over-the-top, and the character expressions are so adorable that watching it is just super cozy and relaxing. The animation style is just right for this type of anime nothing overly fancy, but clean and pleasant enough to keep you engaged. There are plenty of sweet romantic moments too; almost every episode has something that'll make you grin to yourself. Overall, highly recommended if you're into school romance! Nothing groundbreaking, but definitely worth watching at least once. 8/10! Already finished reading the manga and it was super satisfying really hoping we get a Season 2 adaptation soon!!!!!

When you look at the title, cover, and genre, what do you think this show is going to be about? Yes, you are right: this show is a simple, lighthearted romance between a boy and a girl. This show is pretty good at delivering cute and lovable scenes in every episode without relying on trauma, crazy characters, villains, or misunderstandings. Even though both main characters are stereotypical shonen romance characters, there is nothing exaggerated about them, like making the girl the most popular girl in school or making the boy cringe and dense. Every character in this series is somewhat basic but lovable. Shiraishi, Kubo, her sister, their friends, and Seita are all easy to root for, and they never become painful or boring to watch. I have seen comparisons between this show and Teasing Master Takagi-san, but this show doesn't have an overused premise or a character who is constantly humiliated. The premise of Shiraishi being invisible is also used throughout the show, but it isn't treated as the basis of every episode. This show can easily be overlooked because of its simple structure. However, it's hard to write this kind of romance without making it boring, and I think the secret is its characters. Also, special thanks for not having disturbing fanservice scenes. I was thinking about giving it a 7/10, but these kinds of shows are usually not appreciated as much as overly dramatic romances, even though I enjoyed this series much more than some of the “deep” romances. So, I am giving it an 8/10. Side note: I wish we could see more of the Shiraishi-Sudo friendship in the anime.

This anime mainly focuses on the friendship between a boy and a girl, with almost no romance involved. However, if you're wondering how they truly feel about each other, it's still uncertain. At least, there is some progress between them. As you watch, you might find yourself smiling from time to time and constantly hoping for something to happen between them, just like in a typical school romance. Their relationship develops enough to bring the two main characters closer together. It starts with one of them being curious about how to talk to an introverted person, and eventually grows into casual interactions filled with jokes and everyday conversations. It's still worth watching.

Overall the pace is a bit slow but good for those who like slow pace. It's a rom com which much lighter than Skip and loafer or Yamada-kun level 999 or any other rom com this/pre season. Most people kinda like the chemical in between the two male and female MC I finds the female MC acted more like a desperate little bitch. The only thing she is likeable because of her soft spoken and well because she is the MC as well.I think the reason I finished watch the anime til the end it's bcuz of Seita kun ( the lead MC little brother) and the jpn voice acting skills that's all

Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible is a relentlessly cute, feel-good show that feels like wrapping yourself in a warm blanket with a hot cup of coffee on a snowy day. It makes no effort at being anything but exactly that and it almost always hits the mark perfectly. If you are looking for an adorable romantic comedy that's easy to watch and makes you feel all warm inside, you can't really go wrong here. The show isn't "done," but it so recently aired that the possibility of a season 2 is high enough for me to feel completely comfortable recommending it on just that. "But, Queen!" I hear some of you saying, "If you liked this so much, why did you only give it a 7?" Well, straw-manned reader I invented as a transition tool for this review, I'm quite happy you asked! Kubo-san (as I'll be typing for the rest of this review, because god knows "Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible" is too long) is genuinely as cute and feel-good as I've already stated. I did quite honestly enjoy almost every episode from start to finish and I do recommend it on all of these bases. The show is not bad by any stretch, it's just not perfect. However, with that said, there is a chance that nearly all of my criticisms will be addressed in the event that a season 2 is announced and released. Kubo-san has a *conditional* 7/10 from me, with the simple existence of a season 2 being enough to raise it to an 8 or 9. With all of that finally out of the way, there are two things about Kubo-san that don't quite land with me as much as I'd like. The characters, while incredibly likable and fun to watch, are a bit too static for me. It's not that they didn't change or grow at all - there is definitely character growth on display here - but with how much time actually passes in the show, it feels a bit too limited. Character growth thankfully never feels forsaken for the sake of a gag, but it's a bit too subtle for my liking when viewed in totality. The other part of the show that kind of bummed me out is how little "progress" is made. I can't say much more without veering into spoiler territory, but as it stands, I'd argue Kubo-san is more "Romantic Subtext" than a "Romance" show. Still, both of these things can quite easily be addressed in a potential season 2! In the meantime, I highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for what this show offers, because even with the inconclusive ending, the show expertly delivers on its many promises.
