Seija Musou: Salaryman, Isekai de Ikinokoru Tame ni Ayumu Michi
聖者無双
The Great Cleric

The story wa predictable, and i enjoy it. The art style is very simple and adultly women and it fit with story. The character from zero to hero, and i like that. Others will enjoy this series. My opinion in this episode Good at motivating people from zero to hero, not from episode 1 to the end does it feel like a comedy, and his struggle until the end and the opening and ending music are pleasant to listen to, even though he keeps failing in the middle, it turns out he is not afraid to keep moving forward facing obstacles towards his goal, I like it

Slow burn with lots and lots and lots of training sequences before he gets strong. No ecchi. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea. The biggest point of the anime is for you to sympathize with his hard working attitude. I don't hate that concept but I also don't particularly love watching the character training for more than half of the series. Love the concept of greedy healers though. As well as the adventurer vs healer. Wish they fleshed that out more. All in all, not bad. But not enough for me to continue to season 2 or to recommend to others.

[An isekai anime of the OP MC trope with quite an original storyline yet with lots of clichés of its genre, rather slow yet still enjoyable pacing, less elaborated yet simple writing/world-building/character-building, and minimum yet enough-to-keep-you-curious conflict/dynamic. Decent quality, an enjoyable light watch. 8/10] The overall story is an original, novel, and refreshing touch of the overpopulated genre which is isekai, but still with so many clichés of the genre nevertheless. It tells a story of a salaryman reborn as a young healer, which unexpectedly is rare in this new world. What sets him apart (and what makes the world consider him as 'odd', told in comedic ways) is that he has motivations/mindset that is selfish yet pure. With that, he easily earns the trust of many people and with that, he's able to spread kindness wherever he goes, changing the society and, later, the world for the better. Like anime of its genre and trope, there are still clichés such as harem and luck, but what makes this anime better than most "trash isekai" anime out there is that these clichés are only adequately placed. There's harem yet there's no perverse, and the romance is decently organic. Luck is mentioned repeatedly, but logically, a lot of what he calls luck is deservingly obtained through hard work and kindness. So although clichés exist, this anime does not drown in it and is creative in its approach. The biggest weakness of this anime is the lack of elaboration. It's full of hints of such a complex world with such complex characters, but none of the two is adequately elaborated to the point that if it was written more seriously and on a higher scale of production with higher quality, it definitely could've been one of the best isekai out there. Regarding the pace, it's slow and patient which in some ways is for elaboration, but somehow still does not provide enough. It's at a pace that's somewhat enjoyable purely because it feels necessary for the plot to get any elaboration at all, if any. There's no laziness in animation nor sound effects, but they're nothing special. It's exactly what I'd describe as "decent quality". In conclusion, it is not at all the best nor even one of the best isekai/fantasy anime out there with lots of clichés. However, it's an enjoyable, refreshing light watch if you enjoy watching OP MC tropes of the genre as it's one of the better "trash isekai" out there, and is a decent, original anime to watch in general.

The show was pretty good. The characters were quite wacky and interesting. This was mostly a slice of life about the evil inherent in unregulated capitalist healthcare dressed up as an isekai but was enjoyable. There really wasn't much plot so it didn't have a huge amount of action however the comedy was reasonable and the art style and animation was of standard quality. The MC was a standard isekai character and wasn't unique but the side characters made the show a lot better due to comedic elements. The show was not realistic but then it's an isekai so what were you really expecting. Good for if you're looking for something relaxing to watch that shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Are you tired of anime that has a heavy story? Then this anime is suitable as your refreshing! 😉 Reason: 1. The story is relaxed. 2. Easy to understand. (Maybe those who watch anime for the first time can still follow this anime. *I'm not sure) 3. The comedy is still within normal limits. (Not absurd or upsetting to the audience. Unlike "Zom 100" which kills good characters as comedy -10000/1, UNFUNNY!) 4. For the ending it gives a feeling of relief and doesn't leave the viewer curious but they give hints that the story of this anime is not finished and I feel there is a possibility of a follow-up season. Because this is a relaxing anime so that's all I can say without giving spoilers. And I think the romance will only start in the second season... so be patient! 😁

The Great Cleric is nothing special to be honest but I mean that in a good way. It felt like a good paced Isaekai that felt enjoyable all the way through especially the ending. I hope this show gets a season 2 because the world plot was just getting started. If you like Isekai's you'll most likely enjoy this one if not it may not be for you. The animation is nothing insane but it's not bad either, the only thing I was yearning for that this Anime lacked a bit of is character development. I still really enjoyed it so it's an 8/10 for me :)

Well this is better than I expected. I know that it's not quite a OP hero story, but it does feel that way considering how it frames the main character's achievements. But I think that's also a hint of why this anime feels fun and fresh. It actually does show the MC struggling to do a lot of things and having to work hard to learn from the people around him. It also makes the OP stuff that he's able to do feel more memorable by contrasting it with his lesser qualities, while still making his OPness silly and entertaining to see. I also like the direction they went with the MC's personality. He's a softie hard-working masochist twink with enough kindness and decency to reject for-profit healthcare and use his powers generously. It makes sense that he's so beloved by everyone, but it's not like he's being worshipped like a god. He gets teased and made fun for his oddball hijinks just as much as he gets praised for his good deeds. In that sense, every character feels believable enough in the context of the anime, and unfortunately that's something that many other animes of this ilk are neglecting. Speaking of the other characters, I gotta say that the MC attracts a whole bunch of fun folks. All the girls are cute as heck, and the more prominent ones (the Valkyrie captain, the Adventure guild receptionists, the Church HQ shop girl) had a pretty memorable stage presence. For a good chunk of the anime he trains in the Adventure Guild and there's a lot of fun interactions with the people there. I especially like the scene where his three superiors are talking about whether he's interested in a girl, and were preparing to help if he ends up having a heartbreak. I also liked his dynamic with the most high ranking trio in the guild, they treat him like a little brother and it's so endearing to see, even if they don't show up for long. Overall, the wholesome vibes are impeccable, especially considering how much the MC appreciates the help and gratitude that he receives. I didn't really have a problem with the pacing, but there's a lot of timeskips all over, since its a story that happens in multiple years. I don't have a problem with this in theory, but I do wish that they made the timeskips felt more meaningful, especially in the second half of the anime. There was one time where it skipped for several months and it didn't even register to me that it happened, but the characters certainly acted like it's supposed to be a big deal. There's a disconnect there between me and them that I didn't enjoy. I also felt that it didn't quite end on as a high note as it could be. Considering what happened in the ending it should have felt much more satisfying, but it felt rushed to me and there's also some glossed over details that annoyed me quite a bit. But overall I still enjoyed this a lot. I will definitely rewatch some scenes just for the heck of it.

I enjoyed the underlying power systems in this show; the MC's slow, methodical grind in acquiring skills, power, and gear scratches that particular isekai itch for me. The world-building is decent and there is satisfaction in watching him grow stronger and more knowledgeable. The problem is the show constantly undercuts itself by unrelenting making the MC the butt of every supposed joke. He's manipulated, mocked, laughed at, exploited, beaten, and isolated by the people who supposedly care for him. Its like he's trapped in a manipulative, emotionally (and sometimes physically) abusive relationship with the entire world and every person he meets. Basically it's like he's getting kicked in the balls and hit with pies to the face from every person he helps. I guess there are some people out there that would find this funny but this constant slapstick mistreatment isn't comedic for me, it actively ruins any payoff of all the hard work and grinding the MC is going through. What could have been a compelling story about growth ends up feeling like a revolving door of lame, frustrating "jokes" that don't land, all at the MC's expense, which just sours the rest of the show.

The entire season feels like equivalent first 1-3 episodes of a new series. Up until the last episode it feels like nothing really happens. I know some appreciate that the MC isn't some OP out the gate reincarnate with some crazy cheat ability and many see him as slowly working his way up to being more powerful. Though to me it seems more like the show wants you to believe that is the case, rather than it actually being true. Regardless the anime is overall extremely bland and rather dull. There is nothing that stands out. Nothing was particularly bad or good. To be honest everything about the anime was just fine and none of it was bad. However even in 'bad' anime there can be some parts to it that stand out as good points, things where I can say "yeah, this anime was bad but at least they did this well". This anime on the other hand has absolutely nothing I can point to as being good. It is the most run of the mill isekai I have ever seen and all feels rather pointless. Perhaps the next season will make a good payout for all this set up, the final episode does make things seem like they might get interesting, but it does not measure up well on its own merits as a stand alone season.

Definitely not for everyone, but I think it's one of the funniest isekai out there. If you're just here to watch people kill monsters then avoid this anime, but if you want a lighthearted show with good character training (which is basically everything this anime is about) then this is a great anime for you. Story wise, the series barely mentions anything but the world is surprisingly pretty deep. The plot, though.... is 5% action, 95% training. But this is one of the better training anime, we can see how he's slowly but surely improving his stat and skill. as for the graphic, you watched isekai. You don't expect anything from it

A Japanese Salaryman gets Isekaid into a medieval fantasy equivalent of the United States and makes it his goal to establish affordable healthcare. Animation / Art / General Visuals - 6/10 ----------------------------------------------- Pretty average quality. Art is fairly nice and clean, but doesn't stand out with details nor animation. Sound / Music / Voice Acting - 7/10 ------------------------------------------ Pretty standard anime fare. Story - 6/10 ------------- The story is a thoroughly vanilla Isekai experience that doesn't really innovate in any shape or form. The show plays it super safe, which can be disappointing, but it does get enough of the fundamentals right that it is sufficiently enjoyable for Isekai fans. We are greeted by yet another average Japanese person being killed in an unfortunate manner, only to be re-incarnated into a fantasy world with magic and monsters. The only stand-out feature of the show is that the protagonist opts into becoming a healer. Which essentially sets up the entire storyline where he attempts to bring affordable healthcare to the masses. As it appears that the United States mentality of healthcare has caused quite a few problems. The show focuses on two distinct arcs - an Adventuring Guild arc, and a Labyrinth dungeon crawling arc. Both extremely standard. The story ends with a satisfying enough conclusion, though clearly there's more to it. Characters - 7/10 --------------------- The show revolves around a protagonist who is by all accounts rather mediocre, except for an especially strong will to work hard. Willing to go through any hardship to improve. There are the usual annoying cliches of a lack of confidence and cowardice, but the MC is thankfully very persistent and rational, and decides to set his mind on realistic goals and dedicate all his energy in achieving them. Self-wallow is minimal. And with no silly romances or excessive buddy-buddy or rivalry arcs, we get to see the MC do exactly what he set out to do. --- Total - 7/10 --- While a through and through vanilla Isekai experience, it gets the fundamentals right and doesn't try to fit in useless fan service or pretend like it's more than it is. It's a cool story of a rational MC busting ass to become decent enough to get stuff done.

When I started this Anime, I had the hope that this would be not an Isekai like all the others. And I can gladly say that this hope came true. This Anime was pretty enjoyable because the main character was not a standard overpowered guy like every other Isekai main character. He is really ambitious and works for his goals. The side character are very nice too, everyone has a charm to them which makes this Anime entertaining. The humor is very decent which in my opinion is great because its not exaggerated what is refreshing. The Soundtrack is nothing special but also not bad. The artstyle looks good and the animation quality is surprisingly nice. The Story is interesting and keeps you invested because its a mix between an adventure/fantasy and a videogame setting which in my opinion fit well together. Thr Story has good pacing and is not too fast like in many other Isekai. The role of the main character is healer, that is a point where it also keeps you interested because its something new. So in keeping you interested this Anime does a great job. I had a great time wachting this show and hope that more Isekai are going in the direction of having new content which are not standard. So if you are searching for an Isekai which you dont drop after episode one, this Anime is a good choice.

Sure, this anime is called The Great Cleric, but is he really though? He's been called a multitude of names, but never great nor a cleric. This anime is not fast paced, but luckily, it's completed now. So, binge watching may be the best way to consume it. It focuses on the grind to becoming powerful, so if you like those types of anime, then you'll definitely like this one. Tell you what though, this guy is essentially a DPS Healer, and does an actual good job. The plot is mostly how healthcare in this world costs an arm and a leg, which sounds a lot like the country I currently live in. And his objective is to make sure it is affordable. I certainly adequately enjoyed this anime and I hope for those that watches it, you'll do too.
