Dainanaoji is arguably the biggest surprise of the season. I came into this series expecting some laughs and thick shota thighs and ended up experiencing one of the best 12 episode stories this season. Surprisingly God tier quality Sakuga, awesome characters, interesting story an OP protagonist who isn’t your run of the mill isekai/reincarnation MC, this is a must watch for any fantasy or isekai fan. I was on the fence with watching this one for the first month or so of the season and eventually decided to peep it because of Tao and Sylpha pics that I saw on Twitter. From episode 1 I was instantly hooked and by episode 5, I was very comfortable putting this in my top 10 new shows of the season vid. It’s hilarious, it’s fast paced, wacky but endearing. The MC, Lloyd being more interested in magical research and testing his magical abilities rather than saving the world or some cliche fantasy plot line made things quite interesting and the devious way he approaches fighting makes him out to be more intimidating than any demon. I mean seriously, don’t let the cute design fool you, this guy is straight up scary in the best possible way and doesn’t hesitate to kill when needed. Speaking of that design, it’s definitely targeting a certain demographic and plays heavily into it, but it wasn’t nearly as distracting as I thought it would be. It was certainly the most I’d ever seen a male character naked or having their clothes torn off. I just wonder if they’ll ever find this dude some pants. The other big draw for me here is the side characters and their relationships with Lloyd. Sylpha, the busty overly obsessed maid, Tao the beautiful martial artist with a crush on Lloyd’s alter ego and Lloyd’s family. Being a 7th Prince, Lloyd is nowhere near the throne, but even then, in a lot of shows we’d see a family recognise the OP MC’s talent and try to force them to succeed. Not the case here, they fully respect Lloyd’s desire to conduct magical research and share that with those who can’t use magic in the kingdom. We didn’t see a ton of his family members, but the few we did see all seem to be diverse characters with their own interests. It’s just a cool family who all respect one another and I found that so refreshing. The first half of the show the story is solid, but the last 3-4 episodes is where things really got special for me. A proper villain who was a challenge for Lloyd, amazing animation, some nice stakes and an emotional twist. Just a very solid seasonal story all around. If you’re anything like me and a big seasonal fan, you’ll find these episodes go by in seemingly seconds! Just briefly want to touch on how beautiful the art is in this show. Character designs are so bright and full of life and the overall art style is gorgeous. Bravo to all the staff involved in this one, they cooked. Dainanaoji is my pick for the surprise of the season. Expected a solid 6-7 show and came out much higher and with several new characters I love. The light novel will be getting read Dainanaoji gets 9 out of 10.

I just finished it and to be honest, I'm pretty sad that this anime turned out like this. I will keep it short (lol). Basically, I liked the basic idea of the story: I like reborn magical animes. The world and the magic system were also very well developed. But the fanservice...ruined it. I don't see how you can ignore the fact that Lloyd is physically ten years old and every female character is romantically/sexually attracted to him.Every episode has a scene like this and it ruins the whole thing so much.... I really liked the last few episodes (I just call it the Jade saga lol), because the anime brought up a lot of interesting things there and it wasn't just about Lloyd being too epic for a child. If it was like this the rest of the parts would be much more enjoyable. 10/4 If you want to watch a fast trashy anime with action (and if you can stand very, very, VERY MUCH fanservice) then maybe it's worth a look.

Typical run of the mill issekai show with many tropes that come with the genre. Generally poorly written and riddled with plot conveniences authors didn't even bother explaining. Thing are just like that because they are. This means main character has exactly zero grievances and issues in this world as everything seems to be made just for him to play with. Art style is questionable at times. Most notably main character is drawn as a female while being touted as male. I don't think the goal was any woke agenda but it's kind of odd how many ass shots we got without asking for any of them. Perhaps art directors appetites lie in less conventional groups or indeed slightly criminal. Story is nothing new or surprising. Main character has a main villain which doesn't show up until later half of the season. Of course there's no challenge what so ever for our all mighty protagonist in dealing with any hardship. Average to a fault! That said, I'll give them the fact MC is not afraid of touching females and not screaming constantly.

TLDR: Generic reincarnation with stupid OP power. This is an isekai enough story where the MC is OP straight out of the vagina. With all his old memories and massive mana reserves, nobody is a challenge and solves everyone's problems. The end. Oh yeah, they make him as girly as possible. There is some ass and tits. You know when you're a kid and want McDonald's but mom says "we have McDonald's home"? This is what you get. Some hard bread with dollar store mince and ketchup. Technically it's a burger, you can eat and not hate it but it's just not as good.

This anime tries extremely hard in a lot of things, characters, story, power, being cool(in an edgy"cold" way), emotions, etc. But it is beyond garbage in everything, the characters are not cool, and you don't care at all about them because their past is extremely cliche and forced. Story has nothing is just an overpowered isekai character learning magic not well explained he just learn. They try so hard in make the protagonist look cool, cold, edgy and get completely nothing for it that is funny, it's a sexualized kid that you don't care at all, it's beyond cringe every time this dude tries to do something. They try to get your emotions every second but you can't take anything serious with the prota being a sexualized kid. A sexualized kid 3rd time I said that because that's what you going to see every single episode, but it's well animated tho .

This is the most uncomfortable anime I’ve watched in a while. The story itself isn’t terrible on paper. It follows a pretty standard reincarnation power fantasy setup, and while it’s predictable, that kind of formula can still be enjoyable if executed well, but the problem is that the presentation completely undercuts any potential the plot has. Instead of focusing on worldbuilding or meaningful progression, the show leans heavily into horrid character showigs that distract from everything else. While the animation quality of the art style appears polished, it is the design choices that RUIN it entirely. The character designs, especially for the main character, feel intentionally provocative in a way that doesn’t match the tone of the story. It creates a disconnect that makes it hard to take anything seriously. Keep in mind our main character is in the body of a 10 year old. Their is very little depth to the story/characters aswell. The protagonist is overpowered to the point where there’s no real tension, and the supporting cast mostly exists to reinforce that. There’s a lack of meaningful flaws or growth, so interactions feel shallow and repetitive. This might be kind of appealing to people who enjoy pure power fantasy with the same flashy magic that most anime has and don’t mind the character design choice, but if you want a good story with well-developed characters this anime isnt for you.

If you're cool with getting put on a list, this will be an enjoyable watch. On the positive side, the animation is absolutely incredible. The animators took the approach of using chibi characters both for dramatic effect and to allow more time to draw fight scenes. This decision gives more of a "Saturday morning cartoon" feel than some might prefer, though it isn't terribly off-putting. On the flip side, fight scenes are beautiful, with special attention being given to the usage of magic in combat. On the negative, just about every woman in this anime has googly-eyes for the 10 year old MC. It's very surprising that this anime hasn't received the Harem tag, given how often the MC ends up buried in the chest of some new or returning woman. Overall, it's like if Michael Bay and Jeffrey Epstein got together to redo High School DxD.

This series follows Lloyd, who in his past life died as a commoner unable to master the art of magic. Reborn as the 7th Prince of the Kingdom and free from the battle of succession among his siblings, Lloyd decides to live a carefree life, hiding his vast knowledge of magic from his loyal subjects. However, trouble finds Lloyd the more he interacts with the world, putting many of his friends in danger. How will he fare against the impending doom? Story & Character: 6/10 Thigh, here we have yet another reincarnation series on the charts for Spring 2024. The 7th Prince Reincarnates is your typical power fantasy isekai series, where the main character gains an overpowered set of skills but tries to hide them behind an innocent and dumb demeanor. It starts off ambitious, setting a tone of adventure and exploration, along with boundless magic and martial arts growth, but slowly gets dragged down by a small-time criminal troupe, making it feel unfulfilling even with a semi-conclusive boss battle. Character development is always in favor of Lloyd, but this series does well to slowly unveil new characters with each episode, introducing them through chance encounters. The way the characters are brought into the series through Lloyd's interactions feels organic and genuine. However, the heavy use of comedy to break up the intensity disengages any sort of meaningful character development. As the series progresses, Lloyd's character persona becomes more annoying to follow because his conviction to not expose his powers shifts from a light-hearted running joke to an unimpressive stereotypical trope. It doesn't help that there are no truly evil people in this series, only those influenced to commit evil acts. Additionally, Lloyd, mentally an adult, engages in some of the most diabolical actions as a man trapped in a child's body. Art & Sound: 5/10 The art in this series is fairly average by modern standards. The comedic expressions through art are colorful and effective, despite being a common occurrence in this series. Character designs are detailed and varied in colors and shapes, but proportions fall apart during action scenes, which is unpleasing. Animation is choppy during action scenes that don't involve Lloyd, but when it does, the budget is not spared. They even resort to using some 3D techniques to make magic spell animations appear more consistent, which was a good decision. The emphasis on Lloyd's thighs as a young male main character was surprising and seemed to be an odd form of fanservice. Sound design is not extraordinary; voice acting is executed well along with sound effects. Music is used but not beyond the surface level for thematic or emotional provocation. Overall & Enjoyment: 5/10 It could've been worse, is all I will say. I came in with the expectation of an exploration-style reincarnation series, and we got that to some extent, but the scope of exploration ended as soon as Lloyd got stuck with an oddball gang. The story was predictable and uneventful in general but served as an entertaining overpowered main character series. Lloyd's character design is questionable, and it's clear who this series was designed for. Overall, it was a fair watch; I wished there were more opportunities in the series for Lloyd to explore the world or invest in magic development instead of focusing on dragged-out pleasantries.

I had to come here and comment on this anime, because I thought the rating was very unfair. Honestly, it deserved a little more. Of course, if you want to compare it to other great works, this one will leave a little to be desired, but even so, it is far above other animes that people here gave better ratings. This is just another work with a generic story about a reincarnated person who is OP and does everything very easily and everyone likes it, but what makes it great, especially compared to current works (04/2025), is the very good comedy, the magic and action scenes are very fluid and well animated, totally different from the crap we have seen in the current season and the previous one. (God protect us from what may come in the next ones). The final fight is very exciting, with incredible and very well-animated fight scenes, without the nonsense we've seen lately of fight scenes full of static frames and mediocre animations and designers (The Beginning After the End/The Slideshow After the End) or CGIs that would embarrass the team that made Max Steel. Anyway, I recommend watching it. Reposting to comply with MAL's usage policies, which states that you cannot write any comments that are not in English first... Because I can and have to take the trouble to translate posts from here even if they are from people whose mother tongue is Portuguese, but the "arrogant little princesses" who speak other languages cannot use Google Translate or an AI (as recommended to me by a MAL moderator) to translate what I wrote. Then some idiot comes along and deletes my post because I didn't put it in English either. Is this prejudice against other languages? There's your translation! Enfim Recomendo assistirem.

THIS WAS THE BEST ANIME I HAVE EVER SEEN, I loved the character styles and the characters personalities and the fashion sense. Honestly incredibly done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!! honestly was not predictable at all, and was incredibly enjoyable I was pleasantly surprised. The story was unique and well written. Not commonly done today anymore. The art style was perfect for the story I don’t think it could have been done better. IT WAS INCREDIBLY REALISTIC. I think everyone should give this a try they WILL LOVE IT. It is rare to find an anime that hits with that much impact, but Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu (I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability) definitely deserves the hype. While many "reincarnation" stories feel like they're coming off an assembly line, 7th Prince stands out because it leans into the obsession of its protagonist, Lloyd, with such vibrant energy.

Yeah - pretty degenerate. Very much not recommended. The design for the 10-year old MC was taken from the later Manga versions, where they went fully feminized & sexualized little boy, with pudgy thighs, wide hips and tiny waist. And the shots are clearly meant to titillate pervs. Perhaps this will offend some, but I have to be honest with this one. The artwork is based upon Yōsuke Kokuzawa's Manga work, and - it's pretty gross. I had trouble getting past it. Wanted to like the show, but - when it soon became obvious that this little kid's fascination with sorcery was nearly sociopathic, like he would allow his "comrades" to be badly hurt and even mortally wounded just so that he could study the spells being used on them, at a time when he could have easily stopped it. Even his sister was attacked and he just stood there, fascinated. When this became the norm, I ended up hating the little 'twad and couldn't stomach much more - season 2 is a little better in those regards, but too little too late imho. I am not a prude or anything of the sort - anyone who pays attention will notice the things I mention here. The weird shots combing up the MCs thighs and whatnot are really disturbing - I just noticed that they were panning as though he were a girl in a bikini or something, and... isn't that a little bit gross? Watch for yourselves if you doubt it... yuck.

You saw that review at the top which said this wasn't your "run of the mill isekai"? That bastard is blatantly lying. This is the most generic isekai/reincarnation and MC, as generic as it gets. This thing is so bad it fits all the checkmarks that "The Eminence in Shadow" is trying to parody, and I hated that anime, but at this point I think I hate myself because somehow I enjoyed this undeniable trash. This show is extremely honest about how cliché it is, and it plays around it. It is predictable, the writing is bad, but if you somehow got yourself caught into watching isekais, you may like it. BUT, if you expect good writing, good worldbuilding, or anything of quality, please avoid this thing. Maybe this is one of those pieces that is so bad it loops around and becomes good? The comedy isn't that good and I don't think I laughed even once watching this whole thing. The side characters are not that good either, the animation has its charm, mixing decent CGI with well animated scenes, and comedic scenes with chibi characters which clearly have the purpose of saving the budget. I assume the direction in this anime is just good and this is what made it enjoyable to watch, because otherwise I would be fuming, raging and balding over this thing. This is just the equivalent of fast food in anime. If you somehow are into watching isekais, trash animes, hatewatching or just wanna have some fun with the lighthearted comedy in this show, this is a must watch.

Looks beautiful. First this anime has some of the best fight scenes and the best character design in a long time. I love the art style and the humour! We can not ignore the MC and his attire won't lie not keen on the MC and his thicc thighs with how young he is however every other character is perfect. The fight scenes look amazing they are very well done every fight looks well polished and they're not rushed in any way the pacing of the anime is spot on. The relationships that are formed in this anime are very enjoyable to watch. The MC even has a relationship with a demon There are alot of attempts at humour Which i enjoyed. Lots of Love fact the fact we get to see his full potential throughout the series and that he is crazy to learn new magic. The entire anime is character development this MC is building up so much knowledge this entire anime is literally the MC wanting more knowledge of magic and how to use it. The engagement between himself and other characters are always fun. Between the fights it is nice to see. Definitely gonna be rewatching this one! It was a blast

DainanaOji - A femboy Shota breaking the banks of the stereotypical Isekai/fantasy generic shtick of "so bad, it's good," and is it tasting better than it looks? I don't understand the power dynamics, but you'd be fair to call this a riot of insanity in good proportions. Season in, season out, Isekai/fantasy reincarnation stories are EVERYWHERE. Most are bland, some are good, and even a fair few are standouts for one reason or another. But one of those shows of the Spring 2024 season, really stood out for what sounds like nonsense, yet is still a quality work on its own, which, if you put the two together, should not have an executable combination. But yet, this show does, and does its magic quite tastefully so much that you'll be like the Black Guy with Question Mark meme dissecting why it just works. And that work is novelist Kenkyo na Circle's Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu a.k.a I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability, a fantasy comedy so unbelievable that it has everyone shooketh on how bad (or great) it really is. You know the drill when it comes to shitty or trash Isekai when reincarnation is front and centre of its plot. In DainanaOji's case, it's about a sorcerer who has an insane thirst for magic, but that he cannot control it, making his obssession death's throes and a one-way ticket to hell. An unfortunate death and a reincarnation later, he is known as Lloyd de Saloum, the 7th prince of the Kingdom of Saloum. Every baby-to-kid growth spurt is the same for all, but Lloyd declares that he doesn't need money, fame, or women. Instead, since he still retains his memories as a failed sorcerer, and makes his new life the point that, as the title shows: I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability". That's Lloyd's only goal in life: to study, practice, and master powerful magic, which, if you ask me, is a breath of fresh air amongst the stereotypical generic MC who is assigned as the hero character to do things way beyond his/her control...aside from how the anime actually adapted him very clearly as a femboy-looking Shota MC. Needless to say, Lloyd's satiating thirst for power leads him to one of the most powerful characters in the series: Grimoire, a demon sealed in a forbidden book who once drove Lloyd's kingdom to the brink of destruction. Its freedom secured from Lloyd may have been a blessing in disguise, but as he's soon to find out, the unfathomable levels of magic that Lloyd claims are too much and too great for the ancient-magic demon to defeat, so he surrenders to the Shota and makes himself as an adorable demon familiar under his servitude. Together, both Lloyd and Grimoire a.k.a its shortened name Grim set out to conquer the limitless magic of the world, not giving a heck care about everything around them...well, except if the Kingdom of Saloum is invaded by demons and the like, which they have to play by standard tropes to eliminate the big (and I mean humongous) threats. Joined by one of his close princely brothers of Albert, his close aide of maid Sylpha, who also serves as his training partner, and evenutally Tao, the martial artist girl who develops an adoration for him, Lloyd and Grim's adventure is to conquer and push the boundaries of power and strength, all for the sake of and in the name of beloved magic. As whack as this show wants to be, I'm all here for it because it doesn't take itself seriously, and balances out both its comedy and serious moments so seamlessly that it just feels natural to see such an overpowered MC done so right for all the right reasons, and I don't say this lightly for such a well-thought-out MC like Lloyd. What surprises me even more is the overall production of the show. Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab may be very new to the animation scene, having only one show under their belt: last season's rather over-convoluted Crunchyroll Originals of Meiji Gekken: 1874. But with DainanaOji, you wouldn't know that the rather small studio with hit-and-miss director Jin Tamamura, chief animation director Naru Nishikori, action director Yuuichi Abe, and series composer Naoki Tozuka, are actually very talented people when given the right show to work on, and it really shows all around the show. From the rather crisp blend of 2D and 3DCG (that's actually decent) to bombastic and explosive animation that puts all 3rd-rate studios to shame, I swear that I always blink and clean my eyes in disbelief that Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab actually pulled off an anime of THIS magnitude, not to mention it being great and consistent. The music is honestly, even better. VTuber Kaede Higuchi is rising through the ranks with Anisongs, and her OP song "Kyunrious" is such a banger song that I just could not have enough of, being so fitting to the series. The same could be said for Akane Kumada's ED, though I pretty much preferred the OP from the get-go (since I'm a big fan of her songs). The OST is good as well, colour me surprised. If this show manages to get a Season 2 (which it does), please stick with the same production team, because this trash Isekai/fantasy show (as I've said in the beginning) should not be good, but it did the seemingly impossible to unironically become one of the best and most enjoyable genre-breaking shows of the season, bar none. You can have your reasons why this show stinks, and the same goes for me, praising the same to no end. Stereotypical OP MC? Get out of my face. A femboy Shota MC who knows no fear of the impossible? Now that hits the sweet spot.

Never change, Japan. This is a story about a man who loves magic. Unfortunately in his last life he was but a peasant with no aptitude for magic and was put to death on the whim of a powerful mage whose magic was so fantastic to our protagonist that his last thoughts were of how incredible it is and how he wished he could do the same. This tragic end may have made some divine entity sorry for him and so they decided to reincarnate him, as the seventh prince who has unparalleled talent for magic. In short, he is OP now. The protagonist is 10 years of age at the time of the story. He has very feminine characteristics and is surrounded by older attractive women who are all in love with him. At times you could swear that you're watching shota p*rn. It's very Japan, and I love how weird it is. As for the story, there isn't really much of it. Most of the run of the Anime is taken by our protagonist hiding his powers as not to attract attention so that he can be left alone to his study of magic. When he does need to use his powers he obviously wins without an effort. It's all very predictable and silly, but also rather entertaining. It made me laugh more than I would have expected. In the last few episodes the story takes a serious-ish turn which doesn't really fit into the whole thing but I guess the anime needed a big finish even though ironically the main character takes the back seat. All in all it's just dumb fun. Don't think about it too much. 7/10

Dainanaoji is arguably the best anime of the season.I came into this series expecting some good fight footage and finally got that footage during the fight against pazuzu.Fights of surprising God level quality, great characters, interesting story, OP protagonist. This is a must-watch for fans of the isekai genre. I was hesitant to watch this one when only 1 episode was released and finally I decided to continue watching it, because I thought the depiction of this anime would not be as good as the manga itself. Starting from episode 2 I was immediately hooked and by episode 5, I felt very comfortable watching this anime. MC, Lloyd is more interested in magical research and testing his magical abilities than saving the world even though he has enough power to save or rule the world. Don't let the cute design fool you, this guy is downright scary and doesn't hesitate to kill when needed. Speaking of that design, it definitely targets a certain demographic and plays heavily into it, but it wasn't as annoying as I thought it would be. That's certainly the most instances I've ever seen where a male character is naked or has his clothes ripped off. I just wonder if they'll find pants for this guy. Another interesting thing for me here is the side characters in their relationships with Lloyd. Sylpha, the swordswoman turned maid, Tao, the beautiful martial artist who has a crush on Robert (Lloyd). We see a family recognizing OP MC's talent, they fully respect Lloyd's desire to research magic and share it with those who can't use magic in the kingdom. There is absolutely nothing boring about the entire story of this series, everything is cool and special in my eyes. Lloyd trying to hide his powers, amazing animation, etc. If you're like me and a big fan of isekai genre anime, you'll find this episode over in just a matter of seconds! Just wanted to briefly mention how cool the images in this series are. The character designs are very cute and full of uniqueness, and the overall art style is very beautiful and truly amazing. appreciation to all the staff involved in making it, they cook. Dainanaoji is my pick for this season's surprise. Expected all the thrilling action shows and the results were much higher than my expectations and with some characters full of surprises. Dainanaoji gets a score of 10 out of 10.

A surprisingly good show that goes downhill over time. The more it tries for authentic feeling the more it falls flat. It's better than you'd expect from the description/context in basically every way. Great animation, a creative twist on the isekai premise due to its tone and how it frames the protag, good acting, good comedy. I kept expecting it to trip over common pitfalls and it kept surprising me. When it's gotta give some exposition, it'll do it in a bath scene with a bunch of maids. It knows you're there for a fun time and it delivers. It does, however, dip significantly around the midpoint. Over time it gets more and more preoccupied with a drama subplot and tries for sincerity where it used to undercut tension. By the end of the season it's basically no longer a comedy and is taking itself way too seriously. The one point it regularly falls short on is its serious character beats, so when we're spending entire episodes hashing out sob story melodrama it's not a good sign. Honestly? Skip out around episode six when the assassin subplot starts. Do that and it's seriously a 9/10 isekai comedy.

Dainana Ouji is a re-incarnation fantasy anime, with an OP protagonist, surprisingly good animation quality, and a heavy dose of shota love fanservice. Animation / Art / General Visuals - 9/10 ----------------------------------------------- While the base art style and detail isn't overly noteworthy, the show really shines with its complex action animations. The scenes have top notch setup, and fight choreography, dazzling not only with magical visual effects, but also physical combat. In addition, the show employs a large amount of cute chibi art scenes that augment its light tone, making it very cute and funny. Some of the chibi scenes are also really well animated, it's not just a cheap tactic to pad the runtime with low quality animations. Sound / Music / Voice Acting - 8/10 ------------------------------------------ Solid across the board, but nothing overly noteworthy. Story - 7/10 ------------- The story is very straightforward and cliche, but done well. Our protagonist is a re-incarnated magical fanatic, who died because he was unlucky enough to be born as a peasant with no magical power, eventually being killed by royalty as a joke. After re-incarnating as a magic filled royalty himself, he begins his journey to master magic and all things related to it. And that's basically the gist of the story. He runs into the usual variety of "challenges" he overcomes with ease. It's a very common trope these days, with not a whole lot of depth, but it does the niche very well. The magic power system also has an unexpected amount of depth to it for such a short show with such a simple setup. On the side, the 10 year old cute boy protagonist is perpetually "assaulted" by an army of servant women who can't help themselves. While funny and cute, it really does make one think of the incredible double standard. A 10 year old boy being smothered in big badonkas in the woman's bath is made into a cutesy joke, where as a gender swap would get people riled up like crazy. Characters - 7/10 --------------------- The protagonist is quite one dimensional, but still very likeable. A nice person who is a complete magic otaku, wanting to spend his time on nothing but studying and practicing magic. He is overpowered to an obscene degree which is both funny and cool to watch. His otaku side is so strong, that occasionally he turns into an almost villain like persona in order to fully experience all the magic first hand. Side characters feature a well endowed maid who acts as his combat teacher and bodyguard, a couple of brothers who are impressed by his abilities, an adventurer who develops a crush, a few assassins with a change of heart, and a demon turned into a servant, who bit off more than he could chew, thinking he had a chance to beat our protagonist. All the characters are simple and one dimensional, but it works well, because that means there's less room for weird plot holes and inconsistencies. Everyone is just simple and likeable. --- Total - 8/10 --- Dainana Ouji is a surprisingly fun and entertaining fantasy anime that doesn't try to re-invent anything, instead taking a well known trope with cliches, and just executes it really well with high quality animations, and a cute chibi style on the side to lighten the mood.

This is a gem of a anime (it is borderline parody of magic fantasy harem animes) We have a Super Overpowered eccentric protagonist. He adventures, has fun and most importantly studies magic. You might be wondering then why give such high scores. Answer - The pace of this anime is amazing. They have 2 minutes kept entirely for chibi/fun. The rest of it is high paced intense story progression. There is humor, action, magic and for some reason unknown to mankind (harem element - though people are loving it a lot). Even side characters (so many) are given some backstory/depth. There are epic fight scenes. The animation is innovative, clever and top tier. It makes even a mundane scene of few seconds appear fun. The MC actually uses his past knowledge (isekai) to be better even as a kid. Instead of trying to start from scratch like an amoeba. They waste no time. No dragging on of plot. More happens in 2 episodes of this anime than would have happened in 12 episodes of an average isekai. No battles dragged on. No long expositions. The animation and detailing/gag humour is amazing. Action - 9/10 Humor - 8/10 Screenplay - 7/10 Pacing - 10/10 Animation - 10/10 PS - This is an OP kid isekai about magic. If it doesn't suit your taste, don't watch. What the description said is what you get. No point complaining.

I'll be real, and I doubt I'm the only one that feels this way, but this anime took me by surprise by a great margin in regards to my initial expectation. The character designs were probably the main reason I was put off at first (and you'll see that complaint on the internet many times, not just from me), but simply one episode later and I realized how interesting the premise of the show actually is. My favorite parts about the anime were definitely the characters and the comedy. The timing of the jokes were almost always home runs in my book, and the character interactions make me truly enjoy every second of the show. No boring episodes, great comedy, great characters, great fights...what more do you want? Also, the animation is very impressive, as the fight scenes come across so fluid instead of rigid and dull. The animation studio behind this really showed their skill on this one, I definitely recommend it.
