Overall Rating: 10/10 Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5 is an absolute master class in anime adaptation. It is a phenomenal achievement that shows exactly how a supernatural story should be handled. Looking back at how far this series has come, Season 5 feels less like just another sequel and more like the grand climax of an era. Story: 10/10 The narrative progression of this franchise is brilliant. The story shifts flawlessly from the Port Mafia conflict, to the Guild crisis, through the desperation of the Cannibalism arc, and finally into the Decay of the Angels arc. This latest season is where all those years of meticulous setup finally blossom into perfection. The stakes have never been higher, and the storytelling is at its absolute peak.In fact, Season 5 delivers such a powerful, definitive conclusion to this massive conflict that it honestly could have served as the grand finale for the entire series. While I am not fully updated on the latest manga news or what the author plans next, a part of me feels that the Decay of the Angels arc was the perfect way to wrap up the main story especially it's a 2-cour anime that aired into the same year which is totally a good move for the studio because if the season later aired like a year and so forth I think the anime will not be successful because some may lose interest and dropped it. If the series does continue into a new arc, it faces the monumental task of outdoing this masterpiece. Personally, I think wrapping up any remaining loose ends with a high-budget movie similar to what they did with Dead Apple would be the ultimate finishing touch. Animation & Art: 9/10 Studio Bones deserves an absolute standing ovation. Their dedication to this adaptation is incredible, especially their signature choice to dedicate the first few episodes of a season to crucial flashback arcs.Funny enough, my relationship with the art style has come full circle. When I first discovered Bungo Stray Dogs back in my high school days, I actually wasn't a fan of the art style. I think I was suffering from burnout caused by the oversaturation of typical "moe" art styles in romance and fantasy anime at the time. But watching Season 5, I can confidently say I absolutely love it now. Bones has refined the visual identity of this show into something distinct, sharp, and gorgeous. Character: 10/10 The characters don't just exist to fight; they breathe, evolve, and drive the plot forward. The Decay of the Angels arc pushes every member of the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia to their absolute psychological and physical limits. The growth we see here is the culmination of five seasons of incredible writing. Enjoyment & Recommendation: 10/10 If you have been sitting on the fence about continuing this series, let this be your sign to dive in. Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5 is a triumphant, high-stakes thrill ride that rewards longtime fans in the best way possible. It is a rare gem in modern anime where the quality actually improves with every single season. Highly, highly recommended. I'm being bias here because I've felt satisfied watching this series at all.

This season of Bungou Stray Dogs left my emotions in a wreck. Here is the continuation of last season's story, where the Armed Detective Agency was being framed by enemies and labelled as terrorists. There was so much tension and angst with the numerous detectives getting hurt super badly, or "killed", in the process of trying to prove their innocence to the world. Every episode was filled with action-packed scenes of fierce physical battles among the fighter characters or the intricate battle of wits among the ones with intellectual-related abilities. It was also entertaining to see some new or lesser-used characters in this season. The rapport and chemistry between characters was done so fluidly that it was a joy to sit through every scene. And as usual, the soundtrack did wonders to enhance the whole watching experience. I also have to admit that for once this show generated some very new feelings that made me tear up. All in all, it was a superb season.

Im crying again...!! Im such a sucker for season ending... This was the best season off then all !!! In my opinion this was the best season of them all. Childhood friends became enemies, story implifies (or how you spell it) how it is gonna end up or turn out something and then BAM !!!! PLOTTWIST.. and then you think you get it and then BAM AGAIN !!!! and it is just filled with so much action and emotion !!! And it draggs you in. Filled with New mysteries and New characters "showcast" with their backstory. Also this is the best intro of all time. My type of musikk and the intro video was epic too. The way they edit the video was super cool.

Picking off where the previous season left off, the fifth season of Bungo Stray Dogs was, to put it mildly, exciting. Throughout the season, events move rapidly. Your brain will undoubtedly start to hurt when you see Fukuchi Gen'ichirou's powers because the man already has a ridiculously powerful ability and he matches it with an OP weapon. For me, it's like riding a roller coaster of excitement because it's impossible to predict who will win the conflicts between the Agency, Decay of Angels, and the Hunting Dogs. Even the season's climax, particularly the prison break, was quite good. The intellectual duel between Fyodor and Dazai was quite engrossing because there were so many unexpected turns. I don't have a high bar for animation, but Studio Bones performed a good job, particularly in action moments. Definitely a must watch, and if you still haven't I'd suggest you watch this together with the 4th season. Ciao

Bungo Stray Dogs season 5 - I’ve been looking forward to this season! It begins where season 4 left off and sticks close to the manga, which is helpful because it explains some parts of the storyline which can be confusing. So far the storyline is tense and full of action, what will happen? Who will win? It gets you hooked on each episode and getting excited when the new episode is released. The ending is a bit tense and leaves us with a cliffhanger! The animation this season has been amazing, the art style is beautiful, the colours are amazing, and the art in the opening and ending scenes are pretty. Also, the music this season has been enjoyable to listen to, very powerful which adds to the scenes and storyline.

This is honestly my absolute favorite anime and I’m not even exaggerating. From the very first episode, I couldn’t put it down. It grabbed me instantly with its atmosphere, characters, and that perfect mix of mystery, action, and emotional chaos. And when I finally finished the series… I had to take a whole week off just to calm down. I was way too excited, and the idea that the anime might end ( only for a new season to suddenly appear) completely destroyed me in the best way. What really surprised me is how the story keeps going. There were moments where it genuinely felt like everything was wrapping up, like we were heading toward the final conclusion… and then BAM. an unexpected twist, a new arc, a new season, and suddenly I’m screaming into the void again. The plot just refuses to slow down, and I love it for that. I seriously can’t wait for the next season. This one was perfect, the pacing, the reveals, the character development, the emotional damage, everything. You literally couldn’t pull me away from the screen. I’m addicted to it, fully and proudly. And honestly? I could watch it again several times without getting bored. Bungo Stray Dogs just hits different.
