Genjitsu no Rimuru: Sunshine in the Slime

Yet another one of those. I guess Code Geass’s picture dramas traumatized me enough. I have seen so many of those that I have become a self-proclaimed connoisseur in them. I’m give credit where credit is due. This one had far better art than you’d get in typical Picture Dramas, although, one slight nitpick. When everything is zoomed out, they don’t contrast well with the background. The background is all crayon-y and blurred with everything else is so sharp pronounced, but never mind, I get the production constraints. After all, this was never made for the visual fidelity. I personally know nothing about Genjitsu no Yohane, so no offense to any fans, I don’t see any appeal in the crossover to be honest, but seeing both franchise’s characters having competitive fun reminded me of One Piece’s Davy Back fights. Overall: 5.6/10.
