uhh... really old cg and a mundane old story. "we need to find the doctor! but she doesn't want to be found... then everyone dies! the end..." type of story line. only plus is that the sound and visuals aren't all that bad for the time! i MEAN for the time! comparing this to Advent Children is a nono! so uhh... i'm not all for gore and scary stuff, but if it is, i'd say watch it if you're bored. no really all that entertaining. it's pretty iffy. they probably did it for publicity to say, "look! we got a cg movie! 20 minutes, but what the hay! it's cg!" degeneration came a LONGGG ways from this. but, i'd say Advent Children still sets the bar pretty high.

Prepare yourself for a spine-chilling experience, as this horrifying masterpiece will undoubtedly leave you questioning the very nature of cheesy nonsense. It's a veritable feast of vintage, poorly crafted American zombie film vibes—a true symphony of delight that will make you cringe with every bone-chilling moment. Within its fleeting 15 minutes, this gem of a movie treats us to a delightful spectacle of disgusting red rotten meat. Ah, the aroma of decay and putrefaction fills the air as worms wriggle and writhe in every nook and cranny. And fear not, for the creators have gone above and beyond to ensure we are treated to the most peculiar camera angles, zooming in on the most disturbing 'Things' you can possibly imagine. What a delight for the senses! But let us not overlook the ingenious strategy employed by the movie, heavily relying on the 'shock factor' to scare its unsuspecting viewers. Oh, the brilliance! For instead of eliciting fear, it serves only to disgust. Biohazard, or as some may know it, Resident Evil. A franchise that has captured the hearts of many since their childhood days. And fear not, dear fans, for within this horror-infested delight, you shall find the predictable nature and overused cliches that have become the trademark of the series. It's like a warm embrace from an old friend, but with a touch of weariness and a sense of deja vu. I implore you to stay far, far away from this cinematic creation unless, of course, you have an insatiable desire to witness people being torn apart in graphics so dated they may as well be relics of the ancient PS1/PS2 era. Oh, what a treat it shall be, to revel in the glory of early gaming technology while cringing at the sight of old, shitty graphics. Embrace the horror, my friends, if you dare. For Biohazard 4D-Executer is a testament to the beauty of repulsive visuals and predictable storytelling that will leave you with a feeling of both disgust and nostalgic longing for the days of yore.

Since I am a die-hard fan of the whole Resident Evil dimension, I tried me best to remain unbiased writing this review and treat it as an individual piece as opposed a part of an amazing saga. This movie was the first RE ever and overall I think it was done just "fine." If this was released in our current time (the 2010's) I would say it's a piece of junk, but this movie goes over 10 years ago where the business and the world of CG movies are just prospering. Back then this movie would probably be very enticing and one of its kind. I know many would not necessarily agree with what I have to say, but it's simply my personal opinion. What I liked about the movie is the whole bio-genetic part of it that's very similar to the story (heck as it should be) and some idea about the original story as how the virus spread. I also like that the mutation was very similar to beasts (creatures) that are within the actual series of the video games. However and unfortunately, I believe that there are more negatives than positives than can be viewed by the audience. The first of all is the sound quality. I don't think that the voice acting was done very well (again my personal opinion, many might think otherwise). The biggest con that I found in this "anime" was the mutation part. Sure the mutation of one of the characters (avoiding spoilers) was just too much for me to believe, but that's what Resident Evil is what sometimes all about. I didn't like that much in the movie seeing that they could probably divide it into stages. The reason I enjoyed this might because some scenes are just so ridiculous that it's amusing. Another reason is because it is simply part of Resident Evil, it doesn't have to be more than that ^^ I recommend to watch it to get a glimpse of old CG movie styles and to complete your fandom if you are a fan of Resident Evil.

What's this? Nyo likes Resident Evil? Since when? ...I always have. Anyways, here's a review you probably wouldn't be expect me to do: Story: The most basic story I've ever seen, especially for RE Standards. It's a group pf military guys investigating a place, looking for a doctor and trying to get out. There, I just summed up the entire story in one sentence, it's THAT simple. And if you really care what happens [SPOILERS HERE] the main character and survivor Klaus is killed by a person who was secretly a B.O.W. Visuals: I'm not gonna dog on them too much because this is obviously really old, I suppose for the time they looked great, but now...this really hasn't aged well, even comparing it to the CG cutscenes of the OG RE2 & RE3 games. The gore is pretty cool, especially the ending where Klaus is killed and the blood splatter transitions to the credits. But all in all, this is just......mostly ugh. Sound: The sound design is fine. It's classic RE and I actually really liked the sound design of the old games and their cutscenes. Nothing really crazy special here. Music's about as classic RE as you can get and the voice-acting is fine too. Characters: Well, with 20 minutes, there's not much that can be done with characters in such a short amount of time. So characters just kind of come and go and die off when the monsters show up. Klaus being the main character and living the longest doesn't really do him many favors, sure, you feel bad for what happens to him at the end, but that's more because of the whole 'Aw man! We all thought he was safe and got away!' twist, rather than feeling genuinely sorry for him. Overall: I mean...as an RE Fan of classic and old...it's just kind of bad in my opinion, but I can see how some people could enjoy a simple 20 minutes of action and horror and ultimately that's kind of what it is and what it was intended to be. You'd go a theatre, watch this for 20 minutes and then you leave. If you're a much more hardcore RE fan, go for it, it's 20 minutes and maybe you'll probably like more than I did. It's whatever, honestly.
