Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You Season 3
Marinate1016
After more than a decade, most of us had abandoned any hope of ever getting more Kimi ni Todoke. So when news broke that we’d get another season, fans were naturally ecstatic. But as we all know, getting a new season of a show you grew up watching many years later can be a mixed trick bag often resulting in more misses than hits. Fortunately I can say Production IG understood the assignment here. Not only is Kimi ni Todoke season 3 just as magical as we remember the series, it’s honestly better. While not a full adaptation of the manga, it feels like the perfect stopping point for the anime and is a must watch for any shoujo fan old or new. Unlike seasons 1 and 2, season 3 being a Netflix production dropped all at once with 5 1 hour long episodes which although I was initially critical of, I actually came to really appreciate as the way the stories were put together in each episode flowed so well. The hour long runtimes actually go by in the blink of an eye thanks in large part to an even better story than seasons 1 and 2. While I loved the previous seasons, at times I felt they dragged, especially season 1 with the 25 eps. The story feels more focused on all the characters opening up to one another , overcoming their insecurities and ships sailing. It’s angsty, emotional and full of wholesome moments. I feel like I got to watch these characters grow up right in front of me. One of the biggest criticisms you’ll hear about Kimi ni Todoke is the misunderstandings between characters and for the life of me I struggle to really understand the complaint. Are there things that could be resolved by the characters sitting down and having proper conversations? Yes. But that exists in real life too. It’s not always as simple as it sounds especially with teenage kids who are going through a very sensitive time in life and figuring things out. I will say that the misunderstandings that arise in season 3 don’t drag on too long and the way they’re resolved by the end is very satisfying and direct. That goes back to my earlier point about the kids truly growing up by the end of this. I could not help but feel proud at how the characters communicate and open up about their insecurities to one another. There’s so many vulnerable and tender moments that got me emotional. Perhaps the biggest compliment about Kimi ni Todoke season 3 is that it genuinely feels like a Time Machine back into 2009. From the art style, designs, direction it feels like a perfect continuation of the story and I can’t thank Production IG enough for that. Most studios can’t even handle doing this for a show from a few years ago, nonetheless over a decade ago but they did it. They captured everything that makes this series special from the chibi faces, Ayane, Chizuru and Sawako’s banter and playful scenes, the cute bashful moments between characters.. even the seiyuus don’t sound like a day has past since 2009. I just couldn’t ask for more. This is one of the shows that you pause and play dozens of times when watching because you just can’t help but squeal like a girl and cover your face from how cute it is. I love these characters to the moon and back and while this isn’t the full story, there’s some 40 more chapters left to go.. it’s at a spot where you’d feed comfortable leaving the anime. Everyone’s come into their own by the end of this season and while the individual relationships may have issues and struggle in the future, you feel that everyone is equipped to deal with it thanks to the experiences in this season. I had a blast watching this third season and it truly took me back to an era of anime I miss very dearly. The phrase “they don’t make anime like this no more” gets thrown around a lot these days, but it’s truly apt here. We truly don’t get these sort of shows where we fall in love with the cast and get to see them grow up in front of us over a long period of time. The landscape of the industry has changed, but for the 5 hour runtime of this show, it felt like we were back in the good old days. Thank you Production IG. Kimi ni Todoke season 3 gets an extremely easy 10, out of 10.

Yet another Anime with a loser MC guy Over the past few weeks, I binge-watched Kimi ni Todoke from season 1 through season 3. While this series is undeniably wholesome and heartwarming, it has some problems too. At the heart of its flaws lies the protagonist, Kazehaya. Let me be blunt: Kazehaya is a cuck. Kazehaya is not as bad as the MCs cucks you see in other romance series, but he's getting close there. The deeper you dive into the story, the clearer it becomes that he ranks among the most underwhelming, spineless leads in romance anime. He spends most of his screen time imagining useless and boring scenarios about their relationship, which resulted in him not talking or spending time with Sawako. For a guy supposedly in love, he barely acts like a boyfriend until the eleventh hour. Kazehaya also says mmhm about 100 times throughout the show because he's an empty shell. If we’re being honest, Sawako carried this relationship on her back. Without her unrelenting kindness and effort, this romance wouldn’t have made it past the starting line. And that says everything about Kazehaya’s role—or lack thereof. When comparing him to other characters, the gap becomes even more glaring. Ryu, with his laconic charm and quiet strength, is leagues ahead of Kazehaya despite barely saying a word. Even Kento, a side character, manages to be more engaging and proactive than our so-called male lead. I hope there will be a season 4 where we can spin the attention more to Ryu and chizu like season 3 did slightly. I rated this show highly because even though I had to tolerate a borderline cuck like kazehaya, the rest of the characters were nice. But if you cant stomach that then I wouldn't recommend watching this show. Conclusion: Sawako, nice. Chizu, nice. Ayane, nice. Ryu, nice. Kento, nice. Kazehaya, bad.

Kimi ni Todoke was my first school romance shoujo I watched when I was 17 and new to my anime journey, it instantly fell into my top 10 of all time for me, and at the age of 24, it hasn't changed. For years, I was hoping that we would get a continuation of the anime and I was slowly losing hope as the last season was in 2011. But boom, one day on Twitter it's finally announced! SEASON 3! The way I screamed, you don't even understand - FINALLY! I just finished watching season 3 and I'm so happy. The story picks things up from the previous season, but this time our favourite people, Sawako and Kazehaya, are now officially a couple! And we get to see how they navigate and get used to their new dynamic. It had ups and downs, and at times they can be a little corny, but overall, it was so heartwarming to see their love on screen, oh how I've truly missed them. And I couldn't have truly thought of a perfect ending on the last episode, OMG (no spoilers lmao). We also saw more development from Ryu and Chizuru, who are my favourite secondary couple. I loved how we got to learn more about their relationship and how much they have grown together, it made me appreciate them even more. I hope we'll get to see more of them in the future. And last but not least, we got some more insight into Ayane and how she views herself and her relationships. Her unlikely bond with Kento was not something I was expecting, but it was truly beautiful and I loved their connection (again, no spoilers lol). I felt that the story was more cohesive and was put together really well, and it didn't feel like certain situations and conflicts dragged on too long. As much as I loved season 2, the misunderstandings were hard to get through and went on for too long - which made it a little tedious to watch, even though the ending was worth it. I'm glad we had less of it this season though. Overall, I loved watching the story. I was worried about the season dropping on Netflix and even more worried when I saw only 5 episodes, but I believed it was fleshed out well within the hour time frame, you don't notice how time flies when you watch each episode and I love that given feeling. One thing I'm glad they did was continue the original art style and animation, that was one of the things I fell in love with when I first watched the series, and they truly didn't disappoint in this season. They even brought back the original voice cast, and it brought back so many good memories and their performances were great. Most of the original and beautiful OST was used, with a sprinkle of some new ones, and a new OP. And I love it - it's so catchy and I did not once skip it! As well as the ending art for each episode! I wish we had an END song but it's okay, it's not that bothersome. Each character in the show goes through personal growth and changes, whether it's in their relationships or their self. And I believe these were done well. Sawako's growth, especially, since the first season has been so satisfying to see. Seeing her grow and mature, and in the end, being more secure in herself and her relationship with Kazehaya. As well as seeing her be more secure in her friendships and her relationship with her parents is too cute, especially her dad, who's very protective of her lmao. Kazehaya is pretty much the same as Sawako and goes through his insecurities and worries about how he wants to treat Sawako, but I'm glad he confronts them, and with that, I'm excited to see what their relationship is gonna be like moving forward. Heck, I'm looking forward to the future of every character's relationships and dynamics. There's no need to go over how much I enjoyed this - it should be obvious. The humour, the good moments, the sad moments, just everything was so enjoyable. I can't believe I've finished the new season already, I want more! I was smiling so damn much that my cheeks started to hurt. The blushing I did, the way I held my pillow to my face....everything was too cute for me to handle! Overall, this was an amazing return for the series, and please, if you have never watched Kimi ni Todoke - please do! One of the best Shoujo's ever - I promise you, you'll fall in love with the series and the characters, just like I did all over again. And to my fellow old fans, don't miss out on this season! Thank you to the producers and author for listening to the fans and bringing back this beloved anime - I have more hope for a season 4 now and I'm looking forward to it!

This season is everything I wanted from Kimi ni Todoke. The first two seasons are pretty good, but this season completely enraptured me. To me, the first two seasons were simply the prologue, and now the real story has finally begun. All the side characters get a spotlight, and honestly they are some of the best in the entire show. Ayane in particular solidified her spot as my favorite character, she was given a lot more depth and her inner conflict is super intriguing. The main couple finally gets to explore what being committed is like, and how to navigate that, which is always more interesting to me than the classic "when will they confess" rollercoaster. I love all the characters, I love seeing them navigate their problems, I love seeing them grow and bond and interact. The writing in this season/arc is simply enthralling, and I had tears in my eyes at multiple points. The art maintains its pretty, colorful, watercolor background style, and the new music added for the season is gorgeous, even better than the previous 2 seasons. The episodes being an hour long are also really satisfying, it allows you to get more immersed in the drama and the atmosphere, imo. All-in-all, I was so surprised by this season. If the next seasons keep up this momentum, this will be one of the best slice-of-life shows I've ever seen. I went right into this after watching the first two seasons, and I never expected to walk away from this show giving it a 10, but I will. And I did. 10/10

10 years of waiting for a continuation and personally it was worth every year of waiting. Objectively the creative decisions that were made may not have been the best for the work. In my heart the season gets a 10, because seeing Sawako and company once again made me really happy. Reliving memories from 10 years ago and seeing where my life was then and how it is now was a good exercise in reflection and nostalgia. As for the story, the fact that Sawako and Kazehaya's relationship has developed on a secondary level is appreciated because it allows the secondary characters to have more screen time. Seeing the clumsy progress of Ryuu and Chizuru was something tender to see, as two teenagers try to cross that thin line from a friendship of years to a romantic relationship. The story arc of Ayane looking for a person who can love her, romantically, with the same intensity that her friends love her. Honestly, I think Ayane's development is the best of the season because it's not about being able to love someone else, but about loving yourself. As for the story, there aren't many complaints, and there's not much to criticize in this section. Where there is something to criticize is the production decisions. I don't know who said that 1-hour episodes should be made, but please let him resign or get fired. One of the most criticizable points of the story is its slow pace. In 24-25 minute episodes you can enjoy the slow progress, in 1-hour episodes the story feels extremely heavy. So many things happen that at the end of an episode you forget what happened at the beginning and in the middle. Sometimes it generates the typical "how much more is left?" I understand that Netflix finds the one-hour format to be useful in other types of productions, but the audience that anime is aimed at is so ingrained in the 20-minute format that this feels too inorganic. I hope they don't put the work on ice for another 10 years and then close it. It's good to revive this type of franchise to exploit nostalgia, but at least if you want to exploit it today, give it the treatment it deserves.

So, I was a general guy who had watched Naruto and Black Clover thinking Shonen anime was good and blasting but incidentally I somehow got recommended and then after watching "Kawai Hostel of Guide and Manners" or "Bakura wa minna kawaisou" I believed that some good romance still is there waiting for me. I then stepped in the domain of Kimi ni todoke and all I can that it's magical in every aspect. I mean Sawa-san as I call her, she is so simple and she thinks so much and that's why I think she is considered as outcast by her class and then she found Kazehaya who is her light bringing her to the domains of light where she can think (she should shine as she is such a sweet loving girl) and that's all I can say for Kimi ni todoke without spoiling much for people who still haven't seen this anime. And after 13 years of wait, Netflix blessed us with the returning S3 of one of my favorite series 'Kimi ni todoke s3' and it was magical. First the production unit who had animation department did complete honor with the story and oh my the story was so so deep and I loved how such simple conversations can be so magical and so effective at times, When Sawa-san says something it is meant to be deep, can be simple but, deep. I think Sawa-san's beauty, simplicity makes this anime amazing. Please give Kimi ni todoke a go. I request, you will not regret it. And, thank you Kimi ni todoke s3 for returning to me and bringing back the magic I felt like missing.

Kimi ni Todoke is a story I cherish a lot. I was so excited to read that we would be receiving a new season. Watching the first episode I was taken aback by how well each episode seamed together so smoothly. The art style resembles the original and improves on it as well. Each expression is captivated so beautifully. Watching the characters interact with one another brought me such joy. Every moment of the show had me reflecting the emotions that were displaying in front of me. I cried, I laughed, and I fell in love with each of the characters all over again.

Season 3 feels like a gift to longtime fans. It doesn’t rely on big drama or shocking twists—instead, it chooses to focus on the small, quiet things that make a relationship feel real. What stood out the most to me is how the anime shows that communication isn’t always smooth. Even someone as green-flag as Kazehaya still gets nervous, embarrassed, and insecure. Sawako doesn’t suddenly become good at expressing herself or magically understand everything either. They move forward slowly, but steadily—and that’s exactly what makes it so sweet. Another thing that makes this season stand out is how the friend group also grows. It’s not just about Sawako and Kazehaya. Their friends have their own stories and development, and it makes the world feel alive. Sawako’s life doesn’t revolve solely around romance—her relationships with Yano, Chizu, Ryu, Kurumi, and the others all grow too. It makes everything feel healthier and more grounded. Compared to Season 1, I’d say Season 1 still has the strongest emotional impact—Sawako’s growth from zero is unbeatable. But Season 3 is like a warmer, more mature version of the story: calmer, more grounded, and a reminder that relationships are built from small pieces—understanding each other, being patient, and slowly learning how to be honest. In short, Season 3 isn’t just a conclusion. It feels like a message from the characters themselves: “look how far we’ve come.” And honestly, it’s incredibly satisfying.

I was a big fan of the Kimi ni Todoke anime in the beginning, but my excitement dwindled as it progressed. However, I must say that the third season is one of the best pure romance seasons I've ever watched. The characters are realistic and well-written. Even though their flaws make them relatable, it can be tough to watch at times due to the realistic portrayal of romance. The series handles the conflict well with detailed explanations, and I'm hopeful that it will continue to receive more seasons and conclude every story as effectively as it did in season 3. In my opinion, it's a strong candidate for anime of the year and best romance anime of the year. Overall Rating: 9/10

It was really great to see everyone again and get another season of this great story. I was not a super fan of the hour-long episode approach, but it was still nice to get the equivalent of 10 more episodes. It also gave me time to reflect on how much I've changed since I last watched this anime. The good points were still the good points. The characters are easy to root for and their are a lot of big ticket emotional moments throughout the season. Now that I'm older, there were some things that are meant to be seen as romantic that I just didn't find romantic anymore, but I did appreciate that they were moments of growth for the characters none the less. I hope that we get to see some more episodes and finish the story. I know if we get more I'll definitely watch it. I really enjoy this anime even if I can see more flaws in it than I used to. If you liked the previous seasons, I think you'll like this season too.

this show is truly wonderful. it's heartwarming, funny and charming. the fact this has came back after over a decade in such a true to the original way with most of the original VA's is such a blessing to any fan of romance. the story is a bit more nuanced than other shoujo/romances but still is a high school shoujo so you know what to expect but where the difference lies is in the cast. I find them very interesting and fun to learn more about as the story progresses. In the 3rd season, we really get to dive deeper into each main characters history and motives. i am a big fan of the art of the series as it is not outstanding but just so fitting with its watercolor-esque hues to its downright meme able facial expressions and animation. please give the entire series a chance it is worth the journey!

kazehaya is the most rage baiting male main character that i have ever seen, he is not that bad as a character but he's just so boring and plain. he does most of the time nothing in the series, and he just stresses sawako about their relationship because he barely talked to her. apart from that the series was a very good one, vere wholesome and sweet. i really liked watching it, anyone who likes romance would like this one too. It has a bit drama into it too, but the story was very good with the characters. the characters had sometimes miscomunacations (or however you spell that) and that annoyed me a bit but overall a very good series

Kimi ni Todoke is one of the more well-known anime from the shoujo genre. The third season is certainly an improvement from the first two, but it still suffers from the same issues as the first two seasons. Now, before we start, I’d like to say that I’m a sucker for romance anime, I’ve watched way too many. And also, I’m a fan of slow-burn. Which is 100% what Kimi no Todoke is. (Also, apologies if Kimi no Todoke is written where Kimi ni Todoke should be, autocorrect is not on my side today.) The side characters of Kimi ni Todoke really get to shine in this season, and I’d say that’s the best aspect of it. Sawako (MC) still takes center stage, and is still—as always, her wholesome, kind self, and watching her explore her new experiences is definitely a highlight, but these are unfortunately dragged down by her love interest, Kazehaya. Kazehaya is hands-down the most boring character in Kimi ni Todoke, I honestly couldn’t say much else about him than the fact that he’s supposed to be in love with Sawako, and he feels like he rarely has agency of his own. He does care for her, but in terms of actual chemistry, Sawako is often carrying their relationship on her back. It’s very unfortunate, because so much time is spent on their relationship, and while it does have good moments—and is heartwarming, it often feels lackluster. Other characters, like Ayane and Chizu, both have their own romantic story beats happening during this season, and boy is it refreshing. Neither of the two have a ton of depth, but they both develop over this season, and their romantic interests have unique aspects to them that make it easy to get invested—especially Chizu’s and Ryu’s plotline. On top of this, the direction throughout this season is incredible, and really brings out the emotion of the characters. This level of direction didn’t really appear in Kimi no Todoke until this season—and is certainly a highlight. This is mostly due to what, in my opinion, truly brings out the strengths of Kimi ni Todoke, that being the dynamics between the characters. There is a lot of minor details written to demonstrate how much the characters care for one another—and when this is wholly demonstrated during some of these scenes, the emotion that it can evoke is very memorable. Other aspects, like animation and music are still solid. I personally like the new look of this season, but the art style is still very loyal to the original. The length of each episode has been increased to an hour or longer, so even though there is five episodes, there is about 16 standard-length anime episodes worth of content to experience. I personally like this change, as it allows some of the longer events to build onto each other more naturally. Overall, the third season of Kimi ni Todoke is an improvement on the first two seasons, with better direction, more in-depth character building, some much-needed focus on the side characters, and a new, pretty look to boot. Unfortunately, it still suffers from the same things the first two seasons did, namely—Kazehaya.

You know how you can watch a hundred different anime shows — action, romance, comedy, whatever — but there’s always that one that stays in your heart forever? That one show that doesn't just entertain you but makes you feel something deep, something you can’t even properly explain with words? For me, that anime is Kimi ni Todoke, and after finishing Season 3… I don’t think I’ll ever be the same. I’ve never been in love myself, but watching Sawako go through her journey felt like I was experiencing it for the first time too. From being misunderstood and called “Sadako” to becoming this blooming, vibrant girl — it’s like watching a flower finally get sunlight. I genuinely smiled when she smiled, and felt that lump in my throat when she was sad. It’s crazy how connected I felt. Sawako is... I don’t even know where to start. She’s sweet in a way that isn’t forced, innocent without being naive, and honestly the kind of person that makes you believe pure-hearted people do exist. And Kazehaya — the way he always looked at her, like she was the only girl in the world — man, that hit hard. Their relationship was slow, awkward, and painfully real. And that’s what made it perfect. By the time I finished Season 3, I realized something I didn’t during the first two seasons — everyone in this show mattered. Chizu, Ryu, Ayane, Kento… they weren’t just “friends” or “supporting cast” — they had their own little stories, struggles, and growth. Watching them all find their paths, their people, it felt so complete. I especially loved Ayane’s subtle arc — so emotionally mature and quietly beautiful. There were moments I actually paused the episode just to take a deep breath and soak in the feelings. Not because it was sad or overwhelming, but because it was so real. It reminded me of high school, of being unsure, of wanting to say something and being scared, of butterflies in your stomach and late-night thoughts about someone. Kimi ni Todoke deserves 10/10. It gave me something rare — that indescribable feeling you only get when something touches your soul. It’s warm, it’s pure, it’s emotional without being dramatic. And it’s going to live rent-free in my heart for a long, long time. If you’ve ever wondered what falling in love might feel like — not the crazy movie stuff, but the shy, beautiful, soft kind — watch this. You’ll understand.

(this is more of a personal review, just for my own logging) I was pretty astonished by this season! The slow, yet enjoyable pace of the first two seasons were pleasant. I know the ride I signed up for and had a great time doing so. We got plenty of developments this time around, and the episodes felt a little bit more like movies. So many things happened; twists and turns throughout the whole season, and the pay-off overall felt rewarding, deserved, and satisfying. The music - incredible. Art-style was, once again like previous seasons, soft, yet detailed. You can go from cute chibi style to some artistic pieces that could serve well as legitimate pieces. AND they knew when to use them appropriately and tastefully! I found myself laughing plenty of times, feeling the emotions of the characters at others. It really captivated me and held my attention throughout. I wasn't expecting to be this satisfied with the third season (especially in hour-long episodes), but here we are. I love my girls and Kenta!!! (and Ayane especially she is cool)

Fine, twist my arm, will you? I'll review it. I had no idea this season even airing. I only found out now, because I just rewatched the series. And after the disaster that the 2nd one was, I was not really hyped. But I was willing enough. The high ratings also helped. So. Visuals. Well, we have the usual stuff that happens with series that pan over a long period of time. We got a mix of the old aesthetics drawn using modern techniques. Stuff that was funny and endearing in the 1st season, looks silly now, but we also got super amazing shots and vibrant colours etc. The cinematography is meh, the animation feels meh. Because of the "themes" for this season, we get lots and lots of pink bubbles, and shapes, and tinted layer. Lucky us... But yeah, those super amazing shots do make for great wallpapers. Audio. I'd say that the sound design is at the same quality as for the 2nd season (and the only redeemable thing about it). As in, extremely good. When its an emotion-heavy scene, total silence, it lets you soak in whats happening. When needed, from a heavy stuff it starts transitioning into something hopeful with a faint piano theme that keeps growing and growing. Stuff like that. Like I said, tasteful and paired very well with the scene. Sure, there are a couple of too much "happy-happy, cheesy-cheesy" tracks going for my taste (because of the show), but I see why that is. The OP and Ed are good. The ED keep changing the song and the visuals (which are good btw) according to the episode, so thats nice, I guess. Not amazing as the ones for the 1st season, but still nice enough. The VAs did ok I guess. I was not extremely hyped, but I might guess thats because of the dialogue/story. Also, it felt like they were trying too hard, trying to sell us the emotions. Plus, its been a couple of years. There's one thing to act when you're 30, an entirely another thing ehen trying to sound like a highschooler when you're 45 yo. I understand and admire their dedication, but........ The pacing is... well, it is dragging I would say. Because of the usual "lets keep the drama going for as long as possible" aspect, every event and act overstays its welcome. The scenes keep going and going, with repetitive ideas, dialogue and monologues. Until the story gets closer to episode's finale and everything changes. The story, the dialogue, the pacing, everything becomes a decent piece of working media. Anyway you get the gist. High production value and it does feels like one. Now the good stuff. The story is sht. It has great and manipulative moments, sure, but the story itself is the same as always "lets not talk, lets keep the misunderstands going, lets assume stuff, lets pretend there's depth to stuff, lets forget what happened until now and just become brain-dead until the last act when you'll get a sudden epiphany". *sigh* I don't know what aspect is better to start wih, but here it goes. And I'll keep the ML and FL for the end parts. It has some amazing manipulative scenes. Emotion-heavy stuff. Oops. Character development I mean. Amazing story and payoff. You really feel it with them. Some of it might be a tiny bit fake and only possible now, with the events happening in this season tailored specifically to have this kind of send-off, but thats ok. The more better aspect it would've been to make use of the previous 25 episodes you already had (I'm not gonna count the 2nd season, no), sure, but this way works too. And, again, yes, you might cry and laugh with the characters. Is it true? Does it feels well-deserved? Some do, some less. But the scenes are there, so enjoy them. Now, the "some less" thing. Its because of the unnecessary drama and cringe dialogue. It feels a bit faked/forced. Because it was needed for this exactly effect, I'm sure. So, yeah. Lots of "oh, no, its me, my problems, I'm not sure, I never cared and I assumed the same, thats ok, maybe I'll find it too maybe I wont but its all good, thas ok". *sigh* I'm not saying the idea or the feelings might be wrong, just that the events, the dialogue and all the other stuff leading to the "epic" ending could've been constructed better. And then the payoff would've been even MORE amazing. Just saying. Oh, yes. While here, a lot of side characters got a nice character development. Subtle and nothing fancy, but it felt good. Also, some characters were missing, or had to less of a time (that it was like missing altogether) and that was a little sad, I would've loved to see more (happy) resolutions. I guess I dragged it long enough. The FL was ok-ish. Nothing great like in the 1st season, but nothing too crippling as in the 2nd one either. She gets something like a character development but ofc it need to keep dragging for 4 whole episodes (4 watching hours bro!!). The way she acts and thinks etc is resembling the previous (and better) episodes, but also she has a lot of repetitive dialogue and ideas. Redundant monologues just to fill in the time, masquerading as "internal struggle". Having said that, yes, sure, you will enjoy her screening time. Now the other half. The MC is wimp. a loser. A dumb fk. Take your pick and feel free to use other words too. Basically he becomes "Jon Snow season 8"-like. One-dimensional, repeating the same stuff over and over. Sure, if you account for the previous season (which I don't) it might feel like him. Although he learned stuff (supposedly) in it, and he should know better now, yet he keeps acting the same way again. So it would be better to pretend the 2nd season never existed (or at least parts of it). I know it is needed for the "big" payoff in the final episode, but that also means that it is sht writing. "Why does everyone keep telling me this and that? Every one has the wrong opinion about me. I know best what must be done. I can't talk to anyone about this. It is for the best. I luv her. Don't want it. She's ma queen". Oops, scratch that. Ahem. Basically lots and lots of (wrong) internal auto-inflicted struggles, whose sole purpose was to become plot devices and plot contrivances. To keep the story going and to guide the plot on the only certain path that wont result in a premature ending. Pun intended. Oh, almost forgot, I'll drop it here. The season starts with the same scenes of the 2nd season's finale (the last 5 minutes or whatever). Then, throughout this fkin whole season we get repeating pieces of images and/or dialogue that happened earlier in the same episode or the last one. "I hurt you" *insert slideshow of 10 scenes that shows that might be true*, "I don't know what to do" *insert slideshow of 10 scenes where she looked depressed and some audio tracks (maybe with some spatial panning effect or something, to make it sound from the ether, so the viewers can understand thats its an "old dialogue", its not from now) where she's saying the fact that she is depressed and isn't sure about stuff". *sigh* What I'm getting at, lots and lots of padding. Recycled visuals and audio, because nothing interesting happens on screen. A bar, two people, some coffee/tea. How are to keep it going for 10 minutes if nothing is supposed to happen? Well, if you're bad at your job, you do what I mentioned earlier. You can't just show the same face with the exactly the same expressions for 10 minutes, right? Oh, or you could go crazy and do something like character development. or story progression, or something, anything really. Wild, I know. *sigh* The last 30 minutes of the episode/season was kinda boring. It is meant to be uplifting and happy and holiday-y (thats a real word, I'm sure) and whatever but I just wanted it to end. Oh, right (again). Even the comedic aspect was not the best. The scenes with Joe were even more annoying than usual, the dads scene were meh at best, the FL comedic scenes were a whole lot weaker that the ones in the 1st season. So. we got a new season that it was never needed. We got some happy ending all around for most characters. We got the same sh***y wr…

Like the others one, this season was really good, with no doubt this anime is one of the best ever created when we talk about romance and it's one of my fav's. First when i saw it has 5 ep's about a hour long each i was confused, but every one of them was gone in an instant, they we re so good and the ideea wasnt bad at all i would say, i really enjoyed it anyway. The story continues and it gives us more than we wanted, we had our happy moments but a bit sad one's tho, anyway i can see the good in every one of them.

It's a shame to say I only started watching Kimi Ni Todoke after season 3 came out. I've always seen scenes of this anime on social media apps, but I just never gave it a try for some reason. I just know how happy all Kimi Ni Todoke og fans felt when season 3 came out, because what I just watched, is truly a masterpiece of an anime. Where do I even begin? Sawako being able to convey her feelings to everyone made me feel really happy inside. Let me mention, Sawako and I share the same MBTI personality; INFP. So, you can't comprehend how much watching Sawako made me emotional and it really hit me deep in my heart. I found myself crying and laughing at the same time throughout this entire anime. It was able to easily pierce through my heart and make me feel things I cannot explain. I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me feel lonely though! I often found myself dwelling on the thought that they all just seem to be having fun and having such closure with each other. Especially Kazehaya and Sawako. This is a bit personal, but I was reminded of my ex lover. It was quite the toxic relationship towards the end, and watching Kazehaya and Sawako just made me think to myself, how great amount of happiness would have occurred to me were I to date the right person? I felt rather envious of their relationship and Sawako's friendship with Chizu and Ayane. I want something like that. I think I could be greedy on this because I already have friends, but I don't think I have the same closure as much as Sawako does with her friends. I think this is what mainly makes me feel lonely. It's such an interesting thing how simply watching this anime can make you realize so many things about yourself. I got hooked on to Kimi Ni Todoke quite fast. I ended up also reading the manga till the end, and god I cannot explain to you guys how much I sobbed! To know such a masterpiece has come to an end! I know I'm the late watcher, and I wish I would have watched this way earlier. It easily climbed up to my top 5 anime. I've given all of you a peek into my personal life, but I just want to get this one more thing off my chest. After I have finished the anime and manga, I can't help but feel like I may not feel the same way Sawako felt towards someone. Because I don't think such people exist, at least I haven't met them. The thought of that does make me sad, but that's it. That was about all I wanted to say, and if you did read this far I genuinely thank you for spending your time doing so. This may be quite the odd review because I included my personal life in this, but I know this is what I wanted to say.
