D4DJ Short Anime

As far as "in between seasons" filler/spin offs go; This one is okay. I believe Petit Mix is much better, however, considering these are extremely low budget and were created to fit the YouTube Shorts format, they're okay for what they are! They often are very popculturey or memes. No character development for the main series. Nothing of substance. Enjoyable as yt shorts animations can be. 100% to be clear that this kind of makes zero sense if you aren't hooked into the Internet and up to date on memes (especially Japanese ones!) or know nothing about D4DJ as a whole. I say it's okay, but if I weren't a diehard D4DJ fan, it's somewhat subpar but it was an effort by the studio to keep the anime only fans entertained. I recommend playing the game as the story is connected to the anime if you're interested in more D4DJ

This is a short D4DJ anime that’s all about quick laughs rather than story or music. Unlike the main D4DJ series, which focuses on DJ battles and performances, this one leans into fast, absurd humor and over-the-top character reactions. Each episode is under a minute and dropped on YouTube, giving it a low-budget, almost fan-made vibe. Despite the simple production, the jokes really hit. It also plays with the personalities of the main D4DJ characters in exaggerated, funny ways, which is a treat for fans. Honestly, I enjoyed this more than D4DJ Petit Mix (not even kidding, the humor feels different) The super-short episodes make it super easy to watch, perfect for a quick laugh with zero commitment. Overall, it’s an easy recommendation for D4DJ fans, bite-sized comedy spin on the franchise.
