Pikachu obviously steals the show with his exaggeratedly cute reactions and expressions. Even being the most used mascot in the franchise to date, he still manages to work very well in this type of more casual content. However, to be honest… a Bulbasaur would have made it even better, LOL. Another cool point is how the short film manages to convey that classic feeling of coexistence between humans and Pokémon in everyday life. Instead of battles or gigantic adventures, we only see a simple and common moment between a trainer and her Pokémon, and this gives the video a special charm. Of course, being basically a commercial, it won't deeply affect anyone or deliver anything memorable. It's the kind of short content you watch, find cute, and move on with your life. Still, it works very well within its purpose. O curta é extremamente curto e direto ao ponto, mostrando uma garota tirando as medidas de um Pikachu para fazer uma camisa social personalizada para ele. A proposta é bem simples e sinceramente funciona justamente por não tentar ser nada além disso. Não existe trama elaborada, grandes emoções ou algo muito profundo acontecendo aqui. O foco é totalmente na interação fofa entre a personagem e o Pikachu, criando aquele clima leve e aconchegante que a franquia Pokémon sabe fazer muito bem. O que mais me agradou foi justamente o cuidado visual. A animação é bonita, os movimentos são suaves e o curta inteiro possui uma direção muito charmosa. Mesmo durando pouco tempo, dá para perceber bastante carinho na produção. Tudo parece feito para transmitir conforto e simpatia, quase como aqueles comerciais japoneses extremamente tranquilos que você assiste só para relaxar. O Pikachu obviamente rouba a cena com suas reações e expressões exageradamente fofas. Mesmo sendo o mascote mais utilizado da franquia até hoje, ele ainda consegue funcionar muito bem nesse tipo de conteúdo mais casual. Porém, sendo sincero… um Bulbasaur teria deixado tudo ainda melhor KKKKK. Outro ponto legal é como o curta consegue passar aquela sensação clássica de convivência entre humanos e Pokémon no cotidiano. Em vez de batalhas ou aventuras gigantescas, vemos apenas um momento simples e comum entre uma treinadora e seu Pokémon, e isso dá um charme especial para o vídeo. Claro que, por ser basicamente um comercial, ele não vai marcar profundamente ninguém ou entregar algo memorável. É aquele tipo de conteúdo curto que você assiste, acha bonitinho e segue a vida. Ainda assim, funciona muito bem dentro da proposta.
