Overall, I liked this series more than I expected. It has a very slow, calm, and almost peaceful pacing. The main character, Luna (the champignon witch), barely speaks, and a lot of scenes rely on silence and soft background music, which really enhances the relaxing atmosphere. It definitely leans into a more contemplative style. The character designs aren’t the strongest, but honestly, they don’t take away from the experience. As for the story… it’s kind of weak. The first half felt pretty promising and interesting, but after the midpoint, it starts to shift in a different direction. The pacing becomes even slower and more introspective, mainly because another character starts getting more focus. Since Luna doesn’t talk much, a lot of this ends up being internal monologue, which can feel a bit dragged out at times. There are some side characters that add a bit of comedy and help break the mood, but overall the story ends up feeling somewhat nonsensical. I’m honestly not sure if I’d recommend it. That said, it’s definitely a relaxing watch. Luna is surprisingly charming despite barely speaking, and she was the main reason I stuck with the show until the end.
