A spiritual successor to the epic trilogy "GARUPA☆PICO", GANSO! BanG Dream Chan (GANSO! Bandori-chan for short) has some awfully big shoes to fill. To those who wish to ▶▶|Skip this review x3 Left: it didn't. That's not to say Bandori-chan isn't enjoyable. For the most part, GANSO! does a GOOD to GREAT job at being a cute and funny set of shorts made for those fans of the garupas. All of the girls bands that have appeared within an anime are at some point represented within the 52 minute-long snippets of fun. Plenty of episodes were Assisted by the nice interactions found between the cast members, something of note that is severely missing in other parts of this mixed-media franchise. I'd say 60-to-70% of the episodes were worth the viewing x1 on a weekly reset, with only a few Misses here and there. None were all that Bad, and I never felt regret over the attention Paid for my weekly Bandori-chan during my Free time. There also never was a PERFECT episode. When compared to its predecessor, Bandori-chan simply did not live up to the heights found in GARUPA☆PICO. Being a mere 1-minute experience made the reward granted never guaranteed. There were some highlights for sure, but that can be said for anything given enough pity pulling. GARUPA☆PICO being a whopping 3-minute spectacle made it myGO-to thing to watch when I wanted to rock over something dumb. Where GARUPA☆PICO was a fever dream that made the watch a party to binge, Bandori-chan was JUST fine. Only a select few I would deem all perfect enough to retry watching. A score floating between a mid-C to a B with enough drugs to combo off of the absurd hijinks present within some of the episodes. Worth the watch for any fellow PoPiPals. But only barely.
