And is the villain mentioned in the title in this room with us? When it comes to villain stories, I think we all have a pretty good idea of the type of protagonist we'll get. Either a clumsy, airheaded girl trying to fulfill the villain role, only she's more cute than intimidating. Or, the one who truly embodies the role and has an iron will, stepping over anyone who tries to take advantage of her. The problem is, this anime has neither. It seems the anime only used the term "villain" to capitalize on the fact that it's a subgenre quite appealing to certain audiences. And therein lies the problem: when those audiences saw the product, they realized they'd been ripped off. The protagonist doesn't have a single villainous trait, nothing. She's just the typical damsel in distress who can't do anything for herself and waits for a man to solve her problems. Unfortunately for her, there aren't any competent men in this story either. So the problems have to be solved almost by divine intervention. Tiara is utterly useless. They sell her to you as a key figure because her qualifications as queen consort are the best. That the kingdom would prosper with a queen like her. The citizens pay taxes so the girl can spend her time baking cookies in her palace. Not once do you see her sign a damn document or hold a social gathering. She's dedicated to being a trophy wife. The male protagonist, in the first two episodes, tries hard to seem decent. A gentleman who would never hurt the girl he loves. Once he gets the girl, he reveals himself to be a jerk right away. It's similar to when you're dating someone and, as boyfriend and girlfriend, they act like they could move mountains for you. But when you're married, they can barely put the toilet seat down. That's Aqua, a jerk who pretends to be nice so he can have the girl. He's always saying how much he loves Tiara, but at the slightest opportunity, he neglects her and spends more time with another girl. You also have the fairy king characters, where the only one who stands out is Keith. Because of all the male characters, he's the least bad option for Tiara. Even so, they're somewhat superfluous characters who serve to fill space with an unnecessary plot in the final stretch of the anime. They're supposed to be mysterious figures that not everyone can see and who have a certain dislike for humans. Tiara just shows up, and now it seems you can find the nearest fairy king at your local convenience store. On top of that, their blessings have no practical use. Not because they're useless, but because their wielders are useless. My god, what a waste of mana there is. If you're looking for a story about villains, you won't find it here. I'm telling you this as someone who finished the anime and I'm still looking for the villain mentioned in the title.

(This is more like a 7.5/10) I really enjoyed this anime. It was one of my favorites of its cour. I loved how true to an otome game it was and how ridiculous some of the plot points were. I liked that it had a sense of humor while also pumping up the melodrama. The characters were easy to like and easy to root for. I really enjoyed the twist about one of the supporting characters. I would definitely watch more seasons but the ending was great if this is all we ever get. If you enjoy otome game shinanegans, then you'll likely enjoy this anime. If you want things to be less lulzy then you might get frustrated by it.

Not to yuck anyone’s yum, but of all of the otome villainess stories, this had enough of a following to be adapted into an anime? Frankly, the review that called this “otome slop” hit the nail on the head; the characters are wildly one dimensional, and the plot is just so nothing burger. Most of the time I was watching this, I wanted her to just run away with Keith because then she wouldn’t have had to go through all of these random contrivances related to “game events.” I don’t think this is anything offensive, but now that more and more villainess stories are being animated, I’d recommend picking up literally any other one (especially because you’ll get more of a villainess out of those stories than this one).

TLDR review: Yeah, this is pretty much Otome slop. the villainess aspect is hardly relevant on top of that. The art is beautiful and the animation is average but it has some cute moments that made me a bit giddy. If you are in the mood for something to turn your brain off to and like Otome or romance, then this is probably for you. This is in no way an anime to praise seriously or even really make sense of. The dialogue can get quite bad and a lot of times the Heroine just repeats everyone's names back to them as a reaction hahahah. Its a huge whatever burger and an almost funny bad anime, but it has its cute moments.

> A problem occurs > MC worries about it > MC does nothing > Situation solves itself > Repeat Basically the whole anime summed up. The "villainess" is just a plain npc that doesn't do anything, hasn't anything for her and clearly is nowhere near a villainess. And the other characters are as boring as her, even in the worst animes there's always one good character but no, everyone is just... bland. While it is not the worst anime out there, you're gonna either be bored to death or shaking your screen while screaming "DO SOMETHING" with frustration. Either way, not the best moment of your life. Hard pass.

- This series is cuckold angst of multiple characters. Not a single episode goes by, without someone worrying about their partners being stolen from them. All plots across 12 episodes revolve around people being in love with someone else's partner or worry that their partner is in love with someone else. - The villainess is not really a villainess. She and her family are good people. And almost everyone (king, family, maids, strangers, magic fairies etc..) loves her. - The art and character designs are boring cheap templates. The animation is practically a slide-show, with all the panning/zooming/shaking animations with voice overs. Low effort throughout. People who have a cheating fetish, where you are worried about your partner cheating on you or seeing your crush happily in a relationship with someone else. They might be the only target audience that would actually love this show.

Good anime, go in with an open mind. Enjoyed this anime very much despite given the cliches. However, it was really a beautiful romance although it being fairly dramatic but felt the lesson learned is commitment is a choice. Once you and your partner make up your mind to continuously choose each other despite all else. In that way, you give more meaning and more thought into the love you share. This anime gives a good example of that. It's very good once you see that idea in mind. Some may even view this as "cringe" but I can see that being the case because being loved, the idea of love, or have not even the slight idea of love could very much make some uncomfortable. Especially ones who has never really experienced affection in a healthy way or was rushed affection in every way which can make things uncomfortable even if just watching it being displayed. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this just for the watch but more so for the teachable lesson to be learned from it. That commitment is choice and standing by that choice builds character. Aquasteed had many moments to turn his head. Tiararose also had many moments to turn her head. Despite the obstacles, doubts, and the interferences that took place. They still chose each other. And that's a lesson I feel a lot of people could learn from; taking a risk on love, looking to see more than your own narrative, standing on business and learning accountability.

What is love exactly? Because seeing it from a woman's POV is sickening, this show showed it well. Lol There is no villain in this series, which I always love. I wish there were a lot of shows that did that, but who am I to talk? But, oh boy. This show really makes me giggle a lot at how they treat women. I kept thinking who wrote the story throughout watching the series. Because if the writer is a certain gender... Let's just say I'll give them a side eye. How did I find this? Apparently, I read this before. I mean, I saw my bookwalker page, and the manga said: "read". That meant I read it a long time ago. Didn't remember when, though. 😂 Appealing (Why did I get into the anime?) I read it, so I want to jog my memory by watching the show. Platform Only available on Crunchyroll. Saw they also uploaded the first three episodes on their YouTube Channel. (Should've done what Muse Asia and Anione Asia did. But money hungry, huh.) The review; Plot/Story Isekai... Lol, I think you know where this is going. The girl reincarnated as the villain in the game she played when she was alive. She got wrongly accused, but oh, look! Another prince showed up, and he defended her. Now, they're engaged. How lovely. I seriously don't know how to describe this to make you interested. Sorry. 😂 That's the gist, the story/plot of the show was just her and other women fighting over their man. It is a beautifully crafted disaster that I enjoy. Look, I didn't really like the story either, okay. I just love their interaction, that's why I kept watching until the end. Character Man, the women in this show are something else. As I said in the beginning, it is absolutely sickening to watch these girls be jealous of something so simple. And to be fair, the men were also playing the fuckboy. They like the MC a lot that these women got jealous. I didn't say it was bad. In fact, I love it. Makes me wonder who wrote the story. 🤣 OST/SFX The OP and ED are pretty decent. I like the OP a lot more than the ED. Overall, Two Thumbs Up! Animation Outright bad. I said it in my Shiboyugi review that Studio Deen animated another anime. This is the anime. The arts were beautiful, though. Could say the same with the animation. VA Two Thumbs Up! The conclusion; Enjoyable I'm here just for the interaction. I even forgot what the show's plot point is. 🤣 I know it's DRAROM, but that's just it. Worthable Nah. I don't think you would like it as much as I do. Probably it's not worth watching. Delivery On the low side of things. I enjoy the interaction. That was enough to make me keep going until the end. OG Sauce I've no idea if it's even worth the investment to the world. All I can say is, my memory was jogged, and I finally know why I have it on my Bookwalker account. I'm a simple man. Tiararose, the MC, looked gorgeous, so I bought it when it was on sale. 🤣 Overall 5.8/10 I enjoy watching it. Not the best show this season. And definitely not recommended to people. But if you're curious after reading through my review, by all means, go for it.

First frame: "oh, it looks decent enough, it might be worth, watch..." * rest of episode happens* "Wft did I just watched?" Luckily (for me), there's no need of a detailed review, people seem to already know that its not a great one. But I had to suffer and I also had some weird "images" planted in my head, so I decided to help other feel the same :) So. Visuals. I'd say: meh, or the basic stuff. But not the one we usually get. We have nice backdrops, nice details, nice landscapes, nice everyday stuff, basically everything under Team B was good work. Then, you get the stuff that moves. Well, the character design is not consistent. We do get some nice ones (or even amazing, sure), but mostly it might also be reduced to meh (bro, wtf was that king's beard when he's on the throne?? in ep3 maybe?). The animation is passable. Oh, before I forget again, I'm not gonna talk about that 3D rendering for the carriages that kept appearing.... So, yeah, decent artwork, nice colour palette, lots and lots of pink stuff and shiny and sparkles VFX. Basically wallpapers all-around. And here comes the kicker. It made me feel like I was watching a hentai. I know, I know. You'll go "wait, what?" Yep. And I think it was because of how her eyes are drawn. She looked like she was brainwashed, or always sad etc. Also, paired with the B-list voice timbre that you usually hear in said movies, didn't help. I kept waiting for tropes like NTR, ffm, mmf etc. Not my fault. Truly! The FL's design, expressions and especially her voice, all of that made it feel like I was watching some goo-- ahem, some different stuff. I'm a man a culture, so give me a break, ok? Moving on. Audio. Decent sound design. The OP and ED are somewhat on par with this anime's themes, both audio and visuals. I could even go crazy and say that the ED was rather catchy and I was letting play for full 10-20 sec before hitting <Next>. The VAs were ok-ish, probably something normal for this kind of anime, when you don't have dialogue to work with. Or even amazing, like Pearl, who has scenes that helped. Apart from FL, (like previously mentioned) hers felt too much of overacting. And on a personal note (not fair for her, I know), I really hated her timbre, and that "wow" of hers (more so when we got it 3 times in 30 seconds!!). The soundtracks were ok, it felt like the person in charge had a lot of fun in selecting the tracks; I really loved the one resembling a soap drama :)) Basically decent production value. Next, all that is wrong with this thing. The premise might look similar to other titles, but the execution was poorer. The script is a mess. The writing makes no sense for a lot of stuff. The dialogue is boring (or even cringe, if you're not in the mood). Full of plot holes and plot contrivances. There's no logic whatsoever in regards to her previous and actual life. She (the player) JUST remembered, but also she (Tiararose, the marquis' daughter) ALWAYS loved the same stuff. Being it stuff like the prince or baking cookies. You must understand something: this all happens in the first half of the first episode. She (the player, the one who remembers) goes "maybe I was too strict with her/him?" when she never were the one. Tiararose did all those things, not her. Fine, I'll be a nice guy and say that maybe the sauce is better. But also, I don't fking care. When adapting stuff, when changing media, the studio in charge is meant to handle "translating" the information for the silver screen. Anyway, this review starts getting too big, so, here's an example of dialogue (the same 1st half of the 1st episode mostly), which also could be an insight into the character work. FL: "Prince 1. He's main route in the otome game that I loved so much I couldn't put it down. He's truly gorgeous.[..]the character that I loved in the first life [.......] Prince 2. He's the main character of the game's sequel. I fell in love the moment I first saw his design. But I died before the sequel was even released. [...]I can't believe my fav char blah blah blah." Great writing, I know. Ok, fine, the story becomes a bit (a tiny bit) better after the 4th (or maybe 5th?) episode. Still not enough. Also, the last 2( maybe 3?) episodes are sht, so not a great ratio altogether :))) Damn, there was also the part about character development and world-building and all the other cool stuff. Right? Can you guess how that would've went? :))) Ok, fine. I might've said some good stuff about those. Not that it would change much, because the FL has no character. It is presented like she has an arch, sure, but not really. (Also, she remembers, but how did she died? What about her family? What is she feeling about that? We never got stuff like that). So. An anime for... ok, I dunno who this is for. I haven't played any otome games, but previous anime titles with the same setup used its potential better. Plus, its 2 biggest points are wrong. Villainess? Except she isn't one. Was not one before "awakening", none after. Being assigned a role and playing the part for the assigned role are 2 different things... More so when she was and still continues to be kinda liked by almost everyone (except those 2-3 characters that aren't supposed to). Romance? Really? Just like that? Ok, lets pretend that might be. But even then its a kinda "meh" romance. While stuff was happening and my "brain" was trying to come up with different scenarios for fixing the story, ideas like "you could let her in, on the hush side. It could be a nice ffm part", "hmm, I'm not sure, but the maid could go with both those guys", "hmmm, Pearl, Claire and Tiara? Or maybe Keith? For the lolz? I mean, long time together. It might've gone this way once or twice...", "Oh, not really, but I guess even Keith plus Prince 2, plus Tiara. Yeah, It might be a bit interesting, with all that competing. Yeah... Or Prince 2 with Tiara and both the chicks for some 'happy endings' all around? :))) Yeah, even that. None for the Prince 1, fk that guy." kept flashing by. Ahem. As you can see, this anime was kinda lacking. Its not about me. *cough* So, again, its an anime full of shiny things. If you don't care about logic and stuff like that, you'll be ok. Nice, catchy ED, some cute wallpapers, if you're into that. It gets a rating of 4. I could've went for a 5, because of some decent world-building or character dev of some supporting cast, but those points also did nothing for the story in any way, so no. Not recommended. I might've if it had those "action/romance" scenes I mentioned, but again, no. No return value. Have a lovely day.

I love villainess anime, mostly becasue I find the story of redemption for a character who was unjustly turned/presented evil somewhat close to my heart. And I love me some sweet romance and SoL, but sometimes too much of a good stuff can be bad as well. Animation and music: pretty standard. Animation is on the budget, that much is obvious. But they still managed to pull out some impressive scenes here and there. So I will praise them for that. The music is what you would expect, it purely exists to enhance the scenes and put you in the mood and nothing else. No noticeable tracks as well. Overall - animation and music are industry standards, they are on the budget but they still managed to pull it off to look presentable as best as they could. Characters: Tiararose is a good girl, too good if you ask me. As you might expect, being so good that you feel sorry for stepping on an ant makes you a perfect target for evildoers. Good thing she has Prince Aqua to take care of her. Tiararose and Aqua are main female and male lead and their role in this story is your down the mill love story. A prince saves the young maiden and marries her, and so they live happily ever after. It's a cliché but not a bad one, just a bit repetitive as we have seen this hundreds of times over. The other characters vary a bit. You have former prince and main heroine of the story who are there for the first 3rd of anime and then they are barely mentioned afterwards. In the main course of the show, I have found Fairy Kings to be a bit interesting due to their 'I do what I want' nature, but they alone were not enough to make me care that much about any other characters beside main duo. Overall - main characters are a standard romantic one from fairy tails while most others have such shallow presence they as might not be there at all. Story: the story is your standard romance story about a fair maiden being saved by beautiful prince. Only in this case fair maiden is reincarnated villainess. Although, Tiara technically is not one as she was not overly bad even in the original game. She just stand in a way between prince of the country and main heroine. Good thing we have prince of other country who is interested in her, eh? Joke aside, the story does not present too much over standard romance drama traits. Second part, where they go to Marinetime Kingdom, is much more interesting as they introduce fairies and their three kings. But even their mischiefs or outbursts were not enough to make this story that interesting. But I cannot say that the story is downright bad, but it may get boring really fast. Overall - the story is typical romance drama with not too much to offer, if you enjoy romance stories you might find some enjoyment here. Overall grade: 8 for me, but realistically this anime is between 6 and 7. It is playing it too safe with it's story and offers nothing new or intriguing in return. Which in itself is not bad thing, but the best this show can offer is feeling nice after witnessing the true fantasy romance story that most of us will not experience for as long as we live. As such, I cannot recommend this anime to everyone. Even those who might love villainess anime will find this dull. If you like old-fashioned romance stories you might find some enjoyment here. Other than that this is an easy skip for the rest.

The supposed Villainess has the personality of a wet tissue paper. All she does is bake cookies, get doted on, get jealous over the blue haired girl. Absolutely nothing else. The prince who claims to love her more than anything spends more time with another girl despite his fiance being visibly uncomfortable. The "antagonist" girl says throughout 1 whole year that she doesn't love the prince but realizes it when they're literally taking their wedding vows and cries infront of a church full of people 😭🙏 I didn't enjoy the romance at all, it just felt superficial.I thought the fairies are going to be something unique but no. All they do is dote on the Fmc for no reason and eat desserts with her. I still kinda liked Keith and the Sky fairy king. This 1 star is for them, otherwise it's a zero star from me.

# the fake villainess is own by the crazy prince in the boring kingdom What a violent ride this anime. Not that it is any violent in any way, which might be the real issue here : this is so much dripping with honey feelings that there is not so much to appreciate. So much that it's not difficult to imagine that all the characters in this anime are borderline sociopaths, keeping their poker-face and façade while the audience is none the wiser. In a way, you can sense these are game characters, and nothing more. And it's almost creepy. Since you might love a good romance with some obstacles the mighty couple need to overcome, chances are that you might become totally allergic to the female lead, and especially to her "oh aqua-sama !" moanings (get ready, these are numerous). This is clearly an otome game allright. Where is the mute button ? Oh. Nice. Shut up now. Now, to be fair, at least the studio made some effort to put this into a real anime, and considering the recent still-images "animation" mockery (which are basically an insult or just blatant indifference to the viewers), I think this anime and the people behind it deserve some praise. Therefore, here's a 6 rating-score for the effort. @studio : if you ever make a season 2, please reveal these game characters sociopath tendencies. That was too obvious.

Simple main character review: Tiararose only knows how to make cookies and be insecure, and Aquasteed only knows how to flirt and be extremely dense. The character writing for these two is... straightforward. Keith and Claire, specifically, are the only enjoyable characters in this show. Most of the background characters are fine. Art is fine, most of the time. Animation is typical of this genre (that's to say, very barebones, with added effects to give the impression that there's movement on screen). Music is also fine. The main issue: conflicts and resolutions to the conflicts are written in a way that is very unsatisfying. It's written with a: problem, immediate solution, problem, immediate solution, etc. format. This format *can* work, but the actions the characters take are simple at best, and mind-boggling at worst. I wouldn't even consider it melodrama, even though it is. A typical melodrama would add more plot points between the introduction of a conflict and the resolution. There's maybe a few conflicts in this anime that *are* dragged out, but the plot points that move those conflicts toward resolution are just.... repeating what the conflict is? It just feels like there's no forward movement to the plot, until the resolution to a conflict just hits you. Trigger warning: I will be vague since this could be considered a spoiler by MAL and possible viewers. Please skip the rest of the review if you don't need or appreciate trigger warnings. With that said, a character gets drugged and taken advantage of, emotionally. It isn't handled well (both plot and writing-wise), and doesn't fit the tone of the show at all. It's treated with the same lighthearted, slightly melodramatic tone everything else in this anime is treated with. If you want to watch this show but are sensitive to themes like that, skip that episode. Don't worry, the show actually does give you time to know it's going to happen.

Honestly, I was thinking about dropping this anime every single moment while watching it. It’s genuinely bad in every aspect. The story is cliché and adds absolutely nothing new to the whole reincarnated-into-an-otome-game genre, and the execution is just terrible. The heroine is extremely annoying, while the male lead is painfully cliché, like he was literally created from teenage girls’ fantasies. And the worst part is the animation, which makes you feel like you’re literally watching drawings being moved around. If you want something from the same genre but with much better execution, watch Jishou Akuyaku Reijou na Konyakusha no Kansatsu Kiroku. At least, that one was funny.

This show was beyond mediocre. None of the characters were interesting enough for the viewer to actually emotionally invest in, and the romance felt like it only happened because it had to, not because it happened natural. it made it hard to root for the main couple because none of the romantic moments felt earned or real. conflicts happened over the stupidest things, and when there were "major" issues, it was hard to care about because of how flat all the characters felt. with all that being said, i understand that some of this may have been the case because the anime had a short run time, therefore they had to smoosh a lot of content down in order to tell the story they were trying to tell. i also understand that this is clearly for a younger audience, no younger than twelve at least, so the writing may not be the best. but there are plenty of shows geared towards young folks and that are short that are 10x better than this show, so those aren't good enough excuses for me to give this show any more than a 5 star. its a good starter anime for those looking to get into the genre slowly, but thats about it.

With the first episode, I was really apalled. Too much problemes going on there. But I gave the serie a chance and by the 3rd episode, the story had beagin correctly, the dialogues went better and the eyes, so weird at first, seemed to improve a bit. I won't deny I still had to fasten some bits here and there, as their lovey-dovey scenes make no sense at all most of the time, and the serie itself cut short (really really short!) a lot of what happened in the manga. As a result, we have the full story of it, condensed in 12 episodes, and they still managed to keep the cringey dialogues typical of otome games: that's some skill for you. So: _If you have doubts after the first episode but enjoyed the original works, give it 2 more episodes to see. Once the pace picks up I got hooked 'til the end pretty easily. _If you just want an easy to follow, all-is-good shojo-typical romance, you can go too. The subplot is closely related to the character's relationships anyway, so no loss of time for irrelevant things. _I f you enjoyed the original works for its subplot and the character in-depth growth, you shouldn't expect much. Those were blithely cut to fit the whole main plot in that 1 season. I'd like to add a special shout-out to Akari, whose character is really the best in this anime: the author really made a masterpiece of her personnality and use of that to ignite the whole story, it was really refreshing ^u^
