Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugenjou-hen Manner Eizou

Over the years, I have come to watch so many anime movies, and with some of them, came these weird (to me) short accompanying shorts, called manner movies. I’ll spare you the explanation, basically, most of the time they are cheap afterthoughts, created as a means of “doing the bare minimum” to keep the screening civil and enjoyable for all. And of course, to combat piracy. See if that ever worked. This one stands out to me. Yes, it feels like an afterthoughts, but man, does it not play like one. You’d take it as though the parent movie is so high quality that even this short that comes off off-script and last minute has had enough quality and care put into it. A huge plus for having Tengen uzi and his three wives present it. It’s been so long and seeing them on the screen truly is a bundle of joy. Overall: 6.3/10.
