I would like to begin with first clarifying that this anime is a "RomCom" Yes. It is very important that I clarify this. The story follows a former Necromancer now a teacher after his short 1 episode NEET stint, and former Hero now a student, both reincarnated to a new modern world. Their rivalry persists time to time, but this is a "RomCom", so we don't talk about it, although it does have better Action scenes than OPM and SDS. You may ask, wait a minute isn't that forbidden, a Teacher and Student relationship? No! And do you know why? Because this is a "RomCom!" In every single episode, I don't know for whatever reasons, the side characters keep spamming "RomCom" again and again, whenever they see the two main characters in light hearted "RomCom" moments, they just spamming "RomCom". And to be fair this is a "RomCom" after all. You even have a female teacher shipping them, sasuga "RomCom"! You may be wondering what the hell is the school and FBI doing and why other students are not saying anything, where did all the morals and ethics go...? Well by the power "RomCom" anything is possible... But jokes aside, I gave this anime 9 because it felt refreshing, not just because it's a "RomCom", but rather in each episode there is something different, light hearted romantic scenes but heavily overshadowed by comedy hence "RomCom". Sometimes in life you just want to take it easy and relax, and this is a perfect place to be. Just laugh it out, and ask yourself "Why so serious?" (Crayon reference). As for other miscellaneous, the art is simple, it reminded me of those old school animation like from a decade or two ago but with more quality, characters are funny and cute, as for music I am not sure, you be the judge when you hear it. And as stated before the story has linear progression, it develops, new characters appear but at the end of the day it is 1D, you know why... Because it's a "RomCom". I hope you guys give it try, highly recommended. I shall bestow you the power of "RomCom!"

This is a show about the "rom-com police" keeping our main characters in check while the two lovebirds mess around with each other. But, given the synopsis, it feels like the author is trying hard to make it sound unique without really putting in the work. The reason it feels like this is because it doesn't follow through on the premise of a demon lord reuniting with the hero that killed him in another world. They immediately get along and dive into their lovers antics. The synopsis is more of a low key vibe, giving you a weird expectation for what you're getting into when you pick it up. If you re-read it after finishing the show, the synopsis feels like a lie full of buzzwords to get you hooked. This is a gag driven show that tries to blend in an intense plot line that behooves a double reverse(?) isekai, rather than an enemies to lovers rom-com, making it feel like it doesn't know what it wants to be. The main characters "secret" identities don't seem to matter too much. Nothing seems to matter too much or be particularly high stake, especially since every problem that arises gets a couple slaps and stops being a problem immediately. There is almost no point in the characters having the backgrounds that they have, as they don't add anything unique feeling to the show. This show would benefit from slowing down with the "hidden real big bad" plot and focusing on the gags, as well as incorporating some of that previous life personality into the mix. There may have been an attempt to bring in that personality with exposition in the form of flashbacks, but it fell flat because they never really seemed to reflect the characters current situation, or struggles, they were just context for fights etc. Trying to mix around too much information while being a gag show at it's core made it rushed and inconsistent.

Hanaori-san wa Tensei shitemo Kenka ga Shitai — Can anybody actually write a better premise than Maou-sama?! Let’s just admit it: “Hataraku Maou-sama!,” also known as “The Devil is a Part-Timer!,” used to be such a generational anime adapted from a light novel, both as a reverse isekai and a slice-of-life. It was a fun ride. Its first season was magic. Season two, while it was a letdown in terms of the production, still arguably had some enjoyable moments. While I thought the disappointment came only from the studio change, it was actually more than that. Author Satoshi Wagahara decided to end his LN in the most unthinkable way possible, which sparked disappointment among invested fans. Not only that, the novel’s infamous ending has made so many people write their own “fanfiction” literally about what-ifs of Maou-sama, and “Hanaori-san wa Tensei shitemo Kenka ga Shitai,” or “Hanaori-san Wants to Have a Fight Even If She Reincarnates,” originally adapted from the manga of the same title by the Paniponi Dash mangaka Hekiru Hikawa, is probably one of them! The story is about a Demon Lord who died in his previous life and was reborn as an ordinary Japanese NEET named Ryuusei Narukami. He lives with his ‘sister,’ Moe. Meanwhile, Meteor, the hero who defeated Narukami in his previous life, was also reincarnated into the same world as him. Meteor was annoyed that Narukami had no motivation at all to get a new job. Irritated by Meteor disturbing him every day at home, Narukami decided to become a teacher in an all-girl school. However, what happened next was a ‘crazy’ prolonged drama between the Demon Lord and the Hero. The story…Good Lord. I think Hikawa was extremely disappointed with Maou-sama as well. For no good reason, they fell into the trap of what most doujinshi would do: making the female hero have always been in love with Maou-sama. Like, why, when, and how? Why would a former protagonist from her first life get a deep, emotional relationship with a faceless, unhandsome, final boss? Even though they explained it in the last arc of the season, the revelation was arguably just flat-out boring. Also, unlike Maou-sama, the side characters introduced here are mostly forgettable. To be fair, it’s due to the school setting. Hence, these highly marketable girls, aside from Hanaori, look bland because they were just wearing that boring white school dress throughout the season. Despite those aspects, there are still some positive things to talk about, especially during the second half of the season. Hikawa realized that a story solely about Emi-I mean Hanaori endlessly flirting with Sada-I mean Narukami would never be pleasant or funny, but rather annoying. Hence, good for him for introducing some lore about the fantasy world Hanaori and Narukami used to live in. Furthermore, incorporating some aspects that would mostly make a fantasy series becoming slop in most Narou-kei titles into the anime’s modern Earth made the story much fresher. Such a shame it wasn’t really the anime’s biggest standout, since Hikawa apparently still prefers giving Hanaori more screentime to flirt with Narukami. Masayoshi Oishi has highs and lows in anisongs, but this is one of the better songs. The ED is just… Maaya Uchida being tasked with singing like Minami Kuribayashi. Pony Canyon is undoubtedly marketing this as a "Maou-sama!" successor lol. In conclusion, this anime would have nearly been a “Not Recommended” reverse isekai had it been judged solely by its first half. Thanks to the consistency of LIDENFILMS’ visuals and animation, as well as the series’ second-half material, “Hanaori-san wa Tensei shitemo Kenka ga Shitai” is far from being slop that was trying to “fix the infamous Hataraku Maou-sama ending.” Feel free to give this anime a shot, but if you haven’t watched the 2013 White Fox classic, make sure to watch it immediately.

Obrigado ;)

This anime feels like a strange mix of Konosuba, Re:Creators, and Hataraku Maou-sama!! I think every character has a role to play, and none of them feel unnecessary. I enjoy the humor and the slow progression of the romance between the two main characters. I think they're both in love with each other, but their pasts and current social positions are holding them back to some extent. The important thing is that there are no misunderstandings or unnecessary drama. The fights are fun, unique, and have better choreography than OPM Season 2. Animating Hanaori's boobs probably took more FPS than the entirety of OPM Season 2. I'm not going to say anything about the villain or the story, because in this kind of anime, they're just secondary elements meant to create more ridiculous situations between the characters. I'll go as far as to say that this anime has better character development and better romantic progression than an actual ROMANCE anime airing this same season. "Tenkou-saki no Seiso Karen na Bishoujo ga, Mukashi Danshi to Omotte Issho ni Asonda Osananajimi Datta Ken" That anime is a failure in every possible way. It's absolutely atrocious.

Hanaori-san wa Tensei shitemo Kenka ga Shitai is like taking a reverse isekai, adding a multiverse, magic, and 100% comedy. It’s an entertaining and funny anime. The story is about Hanori, a former heroine, and Ryuusei, a former demon king. They meet again in another life and have hilarious adventures. The animation does its job , I think it’s okay, but nothing more. To be honest, the character designs are actually pretty good. The only real drawback is that, since it’s kind of a parody, it sometimes feels a bit average. The main characters are Ryuusei and Hanori. The chemistry between them is cute and funny; you can really feel that they’re the leads of a romantic comedy. They’re a great contrast, which made the whole season entertaining. As for the rest of the cast, Rokudou-sensei was hilarious . I m her when i warch romcoms, haha. The supporting characters fulfill their roles, but they feel a bit generic to be honest. About the script, I have mixed feelings. Every episode feels like a collection of sketches. They follow a linear idea that’s pretty good, but because of that, every moment feels rushed instead of letting you enjoy the smaller moments. This review might sound like I didn’t like the anime, but I really did. I watched the first 8 episodes in one day, haha — they’re kind of addictive and really funny. I think it’s a great anime to kill time with. It’s far from a masterpiece, but also far from being garbage.

Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life The anime came out of nowhere and became my favorite the show got everything one could expect from a romcom with action ! Top notch humor with usage of modern day vocab and jokes, the humor is good the screentime for side characters is just enough for them to not look filler like both the MCs Ryuusei and Meteor are cool and they look good which is a good thing ( generally male MCs are neglacted in terms of looks in romcoms ) the romance feels real altho Meteor is the one with heart struck which is cute tbh in the second half of the show it becomes more prominent as she gets closer to Ryuusei . TLDR : The show is a must watch for anyone who enjoys light romance with comedy and good visuals ! Hopes this gets a sequel soon !!

Hanaori san still wants to fight in the next life was not one I was excited for when I saw the trailer, but became one of my favorites this year. The plot of hanaori san is relatively simple and easy to understand but still remains consistent through the story. The plot follows hanaori and ryusei, the former demon king who are reincarnated after their final battle. While Ryusei wants to live a peaceful life hanaori still wants to fight him and constantly challenges him. Throughout the anime it maintains a good balance of comedy and romance with serious scenes every now and then to add more depth to the story. While there are generally a lot more comedy scenes compared to romance. it is still balanced well and it doesnt feel like the anime is too focused on one aspect. The comedy helps keep the tone light and entertaining, the romantic moments give the main relationship time to develop. The serious scenes also help break up the comedy and give some moments more emotional weight. I also really liked the characters in the show. Their personalities are pretty different which makes their interactions really fun to watch. A lot of the comedy also comes from how they deal with each other. Also, I have to say this but the OP and ED are absolute bangers. I never skipped either of them once. Overall I ended up enjoying this anime way more than I expected to especially considering I wasn't even excited for it when I first saw the trailer.

A reverse isekai, with a daemon lord and a hero. Although not exactly new concept as we already had one similar show a few years ago about it - this one is different in a sense that hero is in love with the daemon lord. This is romantic comedy with short stories format, while I am not exactly fan of such concept I did enjoyed the show. Animation and music: industry standard. Nothing good but nothing bad as well. Giving this is most of everything romantic comedy it does not have demanding animation, but for the occasional battle scene here and there got the attention they deserve and as a result they look really good. Music is solid, no notable tracks but what we got is decent. Overall: animation and music is average, but the battle scenes are given proper justice. Characters: this show has a large number of them, be it bad or good guys. Out two main characters are Meteor and Ryuusei, a reincarnated hero and demon lord in our world. As fate would have it they are teacher and student in nearby all girls school. Meteor is a clumsy tsundere who is extra shy when it comes to Ryuusei, while the poor guy is just trying to live his new life in peace and quiet. It is the chemistry between these two that makes this story work. As it goes on we learn more and more about them and their past and the way their bond grows feels nice and realistic. One more good thing about this series is how other minor characters get their 5 minutes to shine, not everyone but majority does and it is truly surprising how they were able to squish all of that in these 12 episodes. Overall - main characters and fun and it is enjoyable to watch their relationship grow. Minor characters also get attention and minor growth. Story: main theme of the story is growing bond between two former enemies. Where it starts and how it develops is what makes this story enjoyable. But, to me much more interesting thing is all the ludicrous things happening around them. You have monsters from fantasy, sci-fi monsters, secret organizations, bad guys from multiverse and much more. The way how show merged all of these and make it work is amazing. Only critic I have is how the story is structured around a lot of smaller stories for which we get little intro and namedrop every time they start. The raton was around 3 per episode. I am really not a fan of these, especially since that title ruined the event that was suppose to happen in that segment. But I will give praise for a plot twist near the end of the series that I kind of seen coming but it was still a surprise they decided to go with it. And yeah, this is NOT the anime to be taken seriously at all. The less you try to make sense of things the more you will enjoy it. Just keep that in mind when you watch this series. Overall - the story is quite chaotic and I love it for that. There is little somethin for everyone here. Overall grade: 9 for me, it was a good show. Realistically this anime is somewhere between 7.5 and 8. While I applause new ideas and concepts sometimes adding a lot of them at the same time can be counterproductive. Still, that did not affect this anime that much. in the end the more you enjoy it with open mind and do not ask that many questions the more you will enjoy it. Easy recommendation from me, if you are in for a good romantic comedy with good battles this is anime for you. If they ever release season 2 I will watch it for sure.
