At a quick glance, this show looks like a saccharine-sweet magical girl anime but surprisingly, it was a pretty solid anime. The Story 7/10: Although the show is fine, it has a pretty standard magical girl setup. A group of girls have magical powers and need to protect the Earth from evil beings who want to harness some type of item to power themselves. Most episodes focus on the main plot but there a few episodes that could have been cut without affecting the end product Art 7/10: You can definitely tell that this is an older anime. The art has the classic retro "Huge eyes with mega sparkles" to it. The transformation scenes are used repeatedly throughout the show, which sometimes can be annoying. Besides that, the designs of each of the girls is fun and fitting. Retro, but not old. Sound 6/10: I must admit, I was first introduced to this show through the 4kids dub. I re-watched the show in original with English subs and it was so much better. Although it was a MAJOR improvement, the sound is nothing special. The OP end ED are average with no special flare to it. Nothing spectacular but nothing terrible either. Characters 8/10: Time to get to the important part! The characters in this show are fun and play of each other well. The main character is a bit air-headed but that's protocol for these shows. The other girls of the team each have a unique personality that fit them and their lifestyles perfectly. The antagonists' personalities are spot on as well.I may be a bit biased because Kisshu was my first crush but his interactions with Ichigo and her team are fun to watch. The characters may be a bit basic but they're still fun to watch. Enjoyment 9/10: This has a special place in my heart because my friend and I watched this together. It was the first anime I shared with a friend. Besides the sentimental, it's still a very funn show to watch. The plot can be dumb at times but at least it keeps the show together. Overall 7/10: It's a fine show. Nothing to go crazy over but still a fun watch. If you're looking for complex stories and characters, this really isn't the place. If you want a simple easy watch to enjoy without having to keep journals for the lore, this is definitely your show!

Story, was actually better than the actual manga. More stuff added, but it never lost the original plot. Art, a bit blurry, but still good. Sound, It sucked. But that's only because of the dub. NEVER WATCH THE DUB! NEVER!!!!! I did, and I wanted to stab the people who made it. Character, It made more backround to the characters than the story. Enjoyment, I wanted to watch it over and over again. And I'm sure you will too. Overall, Find the mean urself.

I enjoyed watching the series more as a kid than when I’m older as I’ve had more anime experience since. It’s a cute series and having never watched Sailor Moon which this heavily copies I think it’s enjoyable enough in its own way. Love the characters and story, my only problem is that it switches from Dub for the first 26 episodes then finishes the next 20 or so only in Sub. Wouldn’t be as much a major issue except when you watch the Sub version all the way through, the dubbed version has taken some creative liberties and missed quite a few things out, so watching these characters I grew up with have different storylines and attitudes to the ones I remember was a bit off putting
