Rokudenashi Blues

Rate:7 seen via english subtitles Plot Pro: has a positive message. No matter what you will do your classmates will come in when you need them Pro: had a nice turn of events. For example, the ending was not what you would expect. Not only a real game changer but a nice form of payback. Negative: plot was fairly simple. Fight for respect and honor. Art Pro: blended nicely with the art Pro: did not show realistic blood. Normally that might be a drawback but this is a comedy so it works. Pro: had a nice little different cartoonist intro. Which added to the comical vibe. Character Pro: each character had an appropriate background.

I watched this OVA on YouTube. The video had a terrible 240p resolution and the subtitles were the most retarded Engrish subs ever made, making sometimes impossible to follow the dialogues due to the barely understandable/nonsense translation. This made the whole experience quite painful, seriously limiting the overall enjoyment, but the anime is decent. Rokudenashi Blues is just another obscure and hard to find OVA from the early 90s. It's nothing special: very short and with a simple plot, it features some classic high school gang-related violence. There isn't much room for character or plot development because the OVA is about 30 minutes long. Art and animation are fair enough for an anime from the early 90s. The overall enjoyment is enough for this anime to be worth watching. Recommended if you're into minor and obscure OVAs, if you like the 80s/90s style animation and/or if you want to watch something entertaining but you don't want to start a TV series or a long movie.

Despite its departure from the original source material and subpar visuals, 'Rokudenashi blues' offers a concise narrative within its limited runtime. While the condensed format may not fully capture the depth of the story, it still manages to deliver an entertaining experience. Although the animation quality leaves much to be desired, . Overall, 'Rokudenashi blues' may not be a faithful adaptation, but it still provides a decent watch for fans looking for a brief immersion into its world its one of my favorites manga but i hate to see it in this shape so yeah just watch it to hear maeda voice other than the movie takes away -9999999 aura from the manga

[note: 6.7] rokudenashi blues its one of my fav mangas ever so i decided to watch this little ova based on it, hmmm and i think it could be a great episode 1 of a potential rokuburu anime because got a lot of stuff condensed and put together in a way thats fast but enjoyable, it also has its own original plot and original characters, i know it gets a little off the rails but the main shit is still there. in the art im sorry but they fucked it up it looked really bad, they couldn't found a good way to portray masanori morita art into it, for example katsuji (the big foreheaded guy) looks like a macrocefalic baby or that he has some other type of cranial chronic deformity, yoneji (big nosed guy) looks so different from frame to frame most of the time i have problems distinguishing it, maeda and the rest look old and their faces are all wrinkled all the time in this effort to mimic the complex artstyle from the original manga, they're teens holy shit but they look over 40 and this is only the main cast fuck, they couldn't even make chiaki and kazumi cute neither. the music is also boring and it has only one single vocal ending aperture, but thats the only thing it ruins it for me well besides maeda don't having his iconic stuttering, how did they fuck that up. through the ending it gets really good the animation at the beginning was ok but the fighting scenes were really well animated & choreographed at the end. unfortunately, i shitted my pants when she grabs the knife and cuts her hair, is this woman retarded? thats what i always think wheen i see that type of scenes and im a feminist. anyway there is no ova 2 so this is just like some fanservice shit watch it if u are a fan of rokudenashi blues and if ur not dont watch it cuz you there is no point and lame and if u happened to enjoy it go read the manga, thats why it has a 67 note because its between 6 and seven, but it doesn't get down to five, and its too far from 8 which would be on the iconic status.
